Always like stopping in when I can. Usually clean, the staff is nice and helpful. Its hard not spend all my money here 😆. They almost always have what Im looking for, and usually for a good price. Five stars

Great service and useful help. I have seen people who treated them with disrespect and they brush it off and treat the next customer with great service. Really professional. I have been going to this location for 27 years and will continue because of their knowledge and hospitality.

Being able to browse the books in person is a joy you just cant get online. Both serve a purpose, of course but the smell of the paper and the familiarity seems to give the book life each time you pick it up. Thank goodness for Books a Million. Hope youre around for a long time to come!

I enjoy coming here. One of the few places in Goldsboro you can buy comics. It is usually not busy so if you want a quiet place to read or a okay place to have a coffee give it a visit.

The staff today was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The books are placed on the shelves in sections by the authors last name. There is a plethora of stuff besides books - bookmarks, plushies, tote bags, pens, crystals, pendants and charms, back and head scratchers, t-shirts, and much, much more. The lady in the coffee shop area will find you as you browse and bring your coffee to you. This is where my daughter chose to come for her birthday (14).

This location is amazing, its so organized and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

They have a lot variety but the personal attention and genuine kindness that the people have for you here is great. Feels like a mom and pop store but I can find most of what I need. I always see people studying there and its very nice.

For those who like physical books, this store has many to choose from at decent prices. They also allow the customer to order books they cant find at the store from their website. The coffee shop and news stand also shine.

Due to the Covid19 there was only one employee in the store but he was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

I love going in here. They have such a cheerful and helpful staff. I love picking up bargains from the clearance shelves on the sidewalk in front of the store. $5.97 & $6.97 for hardback large books that regularly go for $27.00!! Plus the coffee shop is wonderful. New flavors like Double Caramel Apple Frappe with a shot of espresso is what I got. Yummy!!

I love love love love this store. It has everything under the sun books records magazines t-shirts ECT.....you could spend all day in there plus they have a cafe so youve got caffeine going for you as well.. it was great!

They are so helpful. I told them the name of the book I was looking for. They looked it up and then they went and got it for me. That was very thoughtful of them I am 71 and I really appreciate them.

Its a nice, big bookstore and the people who were there were very nice and helpful. They have a great selection of classics as well as current books; my only complaint about that is that they are a little expensive but that is how books sometimes are. I wish they would schedule at least 3 people (there were only 2 when I went there) because the workers were already busy and had to run back and forth from the checkout and stocking books to man the cafe, and it seemed unfair to ask for a coffee, even though they were so helpful and gracious.

Alot to look at besides just books! Very friendly. They cut back on black history but will order. Which is ok.

Books and coffee....who could ask for more?! They have a wide variety of genres and a small sitting area, which is nice when youre trying books out before you buy. The cashiers are always friendly and dont try to push products on you and can be rather helpful when looking for specific items.

Everyone working here is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We were pleased that we were able to complete our Christmas tradition of giving a book to each child and grandchild all in one location. We donated to their childrens Christmas drive and because one of the clerks told us of an online coupon we also saved more than what our original cost would have been. Blessed to give.

My son can find all his comics and graphic novels there since all the comic book stores went out of business. I can find a lot of books there I cant find anywhere else. Plus they have a lot of cool stuff in there.

The store is bright and clean! I love how the organization of it all is. I didnt buy anything, but browsed quite awhile. They have so many items that Id love to get. The staff that I came across were nice and asked if they could help me with anything.Theres also a coffee shop in there. It made the store smell SOOOOO good. (I dont know what it tastes like since I didnt buy anything.)

Kind of political for a book store..the last 3 times Ive been, a staff member is talking about politics..most people come to get away from such mess..

I love being able to go into an actual bookstore and browse real books. They have a great selection of books and novelty items. Its a great place to shop.

If you need a bible this is the place to go. At least 1/5 of eventory is bibles or other religious books. Science related materials had three 4 foot shelves. Did not have what I was looking for. Amazon or eBay are much better choices.

The atmosphere originally made me think of Barnes and Noble but I could tell the difference. Their Manga section seems to offer a better variety than B&N. BAM also has a club - but I did not join since there are no stores near where I live. Cashier was sweet and kind. Well-organized bookstore.

Nice staff and helpful. Atmosphere is not as enriching and lively as other BAMs Ive shopped. Book selection is less than expected but still appealing. I shop here for the hands on experience that online cant provide. They just need to keep enhancing the atmosphere if they want to compete with online sales.

I love to see the quirky stuff they carry in Books a Million. Im also an avid reader and I still love books I can hold and carry with me. They had a lot of employees working today even though they werent very busy. They have a kids section and a coffee shop too. Lots of goodies up front near the registers.

I have been in this store several times and it has always been a nice experience. The store has been clean and there is friendly service. They have a decent selection.

Love this place! So many cute nerdy items and good books obviously! The only down side is that they are extremely expensive and the employees go ham on trying to sell you stuff and make you feel very uncomfortable saying no to everything they try to offer you.

Books-a-million is a great place to go and find books of all genres. If you cant find a book somewhere books-A-million most likely has it in stock.

Decent selection of books and magazines. Seems to also adequately cater to the comic/magna crowd as well. I read more action fiction than anything else. This is the only book store in Goldsboro other than the Christian book store. I dont drink over priced underwhelming coffee drinks so I can not speak to the quality of the cafe. The staff are usually pleasant but I wish corporate would stop making them push their magazine subscriptions and discount card. I dont shop often enough for the card to be worthwhile. As a result I usually buy my books online. Only if Im killing time in town or if my wife or daughter desire to go do I. The store is clean and so are the restrooms.
