I took my Nissan Titan in to have a tailpipe replaced and this shop could not have been better. Great staff and better prices. Just dont look for Lakewood Muffler, it is now Automotive Evolution.

Quick and friendly service with a great price

Moved to Denver from the Colorado western slope. This was my first Air Care emissions test for my 87 F150 pickup. The folks at Lakewood Muffler & Brake were very helpful explaining the process of inspection and registration in Denver. Better than that, they saved me money. They replaced tail pipe and muffler but said I should wait to replace catalytic converters as Id asked. The truck passed without the additional work.

Came in to replace my flex pipe because it had a big hole in it (instead of replacing the entire converter) it’s a specialty repair and they were able to do it at a way better price than other shops i talked to. Prompt courteous service! My car is so quiet now and I can turn my A/C on again without exhaust coming in my car! Would definitely recommend this shop!

A+++ Good People. Brought in an escape had a bad idle and sound, MIDAS told me they would ahve to replace the part and it would take 5 days, LAKEWOOD MUFFLER AND BRAKE, had it done same day and for better price! The car idles a lot better now will be back

Had an exhaust leak, went to Midas Muffler off of Alameda and Harlan in Lakewood, said it would be $1000.00 to repair, went to Lakewood Muffler and it was $45!!!Adam and his wife made my day. This is my new auto repair place! Nothing like dealing with honest and hardworking people who want to help you and not rip you off!

Price for the work performed was outstanding. Cheaper than the dealership. Got the job done very quickly. So the value and service here was excellent.Customer service was a mixed bag. On one hand, Nicole and Mike were very professional and friendly. The woman who answers the calls (Pilar) is not a nice person to talk to. Youll know within a minute if she is on the other end of the line . . . she was unprofessional and very short to my wife and me. Not sure why she is in a customer-facing role with her bad attitude.In any case, dont let the stumbling block take you away from a great little shop that does good work for a fair price.

Dropped off my Jeep after destroying my exhaust system 4wheeling. Now my baby is purring like a kitten again. The best part is that they custom bent the pipe around the front of my oil pan and tucked it up into the frame where i cant bang it up on rocks again! All under $500. Nicole was awesome. Set up a appointment to modify my exhaust, 3 weeks in advance, making sure the books were completely clear on that day. I had a great talk with Adam about time frame and cost, setting my appointment for an afternoon slot at 2pm. Received a message from the receptionist, just 2 hours prior to my appointment, stating that my appointment would not be honored because morning appointments always have priority and I would be bumped to a future date. No apologies, no humility, in fact quite demeaning as if it were my fault for taking an afternoon slot. I requested a call back from Adam to hash things out, so I would not be wasting my time on another future appointment. Sadly, Adam, I wish you would have called me back...

This shop took the time to evaluate my cars issues (there are several), and give me estimates KNOWING I may not want to repair it at all. I literally asked them if I should ditch the car and they said yes, though they would have taken in over $2,000 in business from me. I will return to them for my next repair.

Adam quoted me $240 - $340 over the phone for a muffler, short-pipe and resonator replacement for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. Everyone was prompt & polite when I dropped off, and we agreed all I needed was a muffler - the short-pipe and resonator could stay on and wed re-use the tailpipe. I thought that the price would be less, as there would be less parts and work involved in replacing the muffler only (instead of the resonator & shortpipe as well). When I came in for pick up, the invoice was over $334 - for the muffler only. The muffler is some generic (ALLLIED) after-market, steel (not a performance item, or even aluminized or stainless) that probably should cost no more than $120 - marked up to $210! While the welding & install look fine, I wonder how long this over-priced steel muffler will last. When I asked about it, I was met with polite, thats how much it costs... Adam appears to do good work, but be sure to get an estimate IN WRITING before leaving your vehicle here for any work.
