But I decided to take the leap and bought her a med frame, mattress, mattress pad, pillow and a sham. When the items arrived, I was so very pleased. I spent several months researching mattresses. Looking for a high quality mattress made out of all natural materials that could also provide me with the best value, I chose EcoChoices, and I’m thankful that I did. All these recent reviews are obviously contrived because my sister and mom bought a mattress and she reacted to the odor or whatever chemical is inside of the mattress. Her review is the only one that looks real here its isabel. They dont offer them a refund even when it was not yet made. Im very disappointed for my sister because she is ill and very sensitive to odors that a healthy person is not usually. But even I can smell that the bed has a weird vinyl odor in it.

I have a severe case of multiple sclerosis and before I purchased a mattress from EcoChoices, I was only able to get a maximum of 2 hours of poor sleep. I purchased the 100% Natural Latex mattress with organic cotton and pure grow wool, then added a 3 wool topper on top of that. As a result, I have been able to regularly get around 6 hours of good sleep. You dont know how much that means to me. I dont feel so tired anymore. It has made a world of difference in my life. I would highly recommend using them for people with MS.

Im extremely sensitive to chemicals so the thought of buying a new mattress with tons of chemicals and flame retardants was anxiety provoking to say the least. I knew that organic mattresses were available but I had heard that many so-called organic and non-toxic mattresses still contained many toxins and made people ill. I did quite a bit of research and am so glad I found EcoChoices. I sent a few emails to the company and always received prompt, helpful responses. Im somewhat of a high maintenance customer because of my severe sensitivities but EcoChoices was always happy to provide as much information and reassurance as I requested. I ended up ordering the Natural Dreams organic cotton & wool innerspring mattress and couldnt be happier. It was made to order and arrived in a few weeks. The delivery men were incredibly friendly and helpful and the mattress arrived in perfect condition. It obviously smelled like wool but not in an overpowering way (and my sense of smell is really strong). After airing it out for a few days, we put the mattress in our room and Ive been sleeping on it for a few weeks now without a problem. I react to so many things and Im happy to say that this mattress hasnt caused any type of negative reaction in my body. Im beyond happy with our purchase and am especially grateful that the mattress is truly organic and non-toxic. This is a high quality product for a relatively reasonable price and I couldnt offer a higher recommendation for EcoChoices.

I am not content with the mattress I ordered from this company and their manufacturers at Viveteque. This mattress smells very strong and not of only organic cotton, it has a distinctly plastic like synthetic odor. It made me very queasy the first days. While airing it out, I had to stay away from my room as much as I can.. the smell is strong and I would just cover as best as I can at night. It also gave me headache with head pressure, fever and an allergic sinus reaction and itching. I have not slept well on this mattress for that reason. The comfort is fine, but I went this expensive organic prescription mattress route not for comfort alone, but because I believed I will have a mattress that will not effect me and is truly all organic and carefully made. And I have been airing it out a couple weeks already. I have chronic illness and am truly sensitive to chemicals. I would compare the smell to a mattress I once had of memory foam pillowtop, the odor attatched itself to everything and made me sick. So I really dont believe this is all organic. I have purchased organic wool toppers and an organic cotton futon and bedding in the past and this smells different and like something plastic and paint vapor like. First of all it was a hassle to even receive the right order, taking 2 months + longer than it should have. The sales person at Viveteque was rude and unprofessional when bringing the first wrong mattress, nothing at all what I had ordered. I really just wanted my money back at that point, but they dont allow a refund even if the bed was not even made. So I went ahead and the 2nd delivery was also the wrong firmness and hollow or less padded throughout. It was obviously made quickly and not carefully because it took a few days from the first wrong bed delivery. So then this last order, I got the bed it took over a month to receive. I dont know what to do now. And after I contacted both Lester the customer service person at Eco choices and Kim at Viveteque they have no other help to give me than to just say air it out. I would not recommend this company to someone with chronic illness or chemical sensitivity.
