Was here tonight, excellent customer service by cashier Edgar. I had 1 case of water. He told only 1 was $4 but if I bought 4 cases it would be $10. I told him I was aware but they were to heavy for me to load. He then asked his manager if he could help me load them and carry out to my car. All of this with a big smile on his face. 10/06/21. I have to say the quality has gone down since it became cardenas. That said i stopped for menudo service was tirrible and the lady just doesnt make eye contact she was looking off checking out a guy and talking to the cashier .Far cry from Food City deli people who welcome you take order and smiling at you very friendly . Oh and by the way the cashier rolled out my tortillas with Bare hands after touching money ! I asked for fresh With gloves on !She gave me new rolled up by other person with gloves BUT again no apology no eye contact dismissed me without a word .Me thinks FOOD CITY NEXT TIME .

If I could go lower n rating I would. I dont buy meat there due to that part of the store always stinking. Today I went and bought pork meat. Got home, washed it and put to cook. When I opened the pot IT STUNK HORRIBLE. The meat was so spoiled. I appreciate that its a Mexican store and they have everything that I like. But more and more their customer service gets bad by the day. Everyone doesnt care, especially the high school kids who they have as cashiers. I can go on and on but bottom line dont go there and especially DONT BUY MEAT THERE.

While the atmosphere of the store is pretty busy and there is a wide selection of Mexican products and produce, the food court is a disaster and has some of the worst customer service Ive ever seen. For starters, the line was slow due to counter staff being constantly on their phones. They were rude and neglected customers and tables, leaving dirty half-eaten plates and messes on them. I had gone for breakfast, but found out they dont serve any, so I ordered a fajita combo plate. After some debate on what it was between employees despite it being on the menu above them, what I got amounted to a school lunch with a cold pack of corn tortillas. The only real good part of my meal was the rice, which I knew was prepackaged as Ive bought it before. I recommend to anyone who is looking for something to eat to either buy ingredients in-store and make something at home, or just to go to the nearby McDonalds like I did. I will not be returning.

I thoroughly enjoy shopping Los Altos Ranch Market every time. We go in for the Pan Dulce, or freshly cooked tortillas and walk out with a dozen other favorites.

Waiting for my food over 30mins and, my food came out cold and have to pay full price and sad part I didnt enjoy my food, the table are very dirty. Never gonna come back here ever again.

I normally go to the ranch market near 19th Ave, because I know where to find items, and they usually have fair prices with fresh veggies. But today I felt like going to a different on, so I drove to the opposite side of town, and although its a nice store, the veggies were getting old. They had lettuce for 1.94, but the lettuce had wilted leaves. The other pros ranch market usually lowers prices to 0.99 to get fresh crispy veggies in the store faster.

Taco Tuesday at Ranch Market. Multiple choices of meat feelings. Very generous on their portions. I try to go there every Tuesday for lunch

This store is poorly managed. I would recommend that this store should be closed, due to safety and not reopen until electrical outlet can be replaced and the store can be safe for all visitors.

Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4U! I stopped at this grocery store on Christmas day to make a few purchase. The store was very clean and organize. As you walkin you see a juice section in front of the bakery. The juice section makes a variety of real fresh fruit juices. I really enjoy the strawberry and pineapple juice. Next is the food court section with a variety of delicious foods ready to be eaten. And as you walk you see the fruits and vegetables section and then the tortillas were they make hot fresh corn tortillas. The customer service was very friendly and employees were quick to assist me on locating a few items. The cashier section was slow with no self checkout lines. But the cashier was overall very happy and friendly. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was due to not having self checkout lines and as a result having slow moving lines. Other than that I do recommend this place! 👍

They dont speak a lot of English but the food is great.

The store has great produce, clean store, and well stocked. I give props to that though the only MAJOR issue that makes me not choose this as my main grocery store is that fact that the staff can be rude. Not all of course.The one time I come after 1 year I get a ride cashier who didnt even greet or look at me even though he got really happy and talkative when his co worker came to chat over. Other than that, its an okay store.

I love shopping here because there is so much fresh baked goods. Also it seems like they are the only store near me that has a variety of chamoy available. The pan dulce looks and smells delicious as do the tortillas and chicharrones. I highly recommend coming here to see what this store has to offer. The staff is very friendly and caring.

Hot as hell in the store. No air conditioner with a musty smell.

The Menudo was cold. One of the order takers was rude when I asked that my wifes order have more corn then meat. What ever happened to the customer is always right. Would of given no stars if possible.😒

Nasty , rotten shrimp...paid a good amount for cleaned deveined shrimp and when I get home I realized it smelled so bad..very fishy and smelled like bleach. I couldnt tell while I was there because they seafood/butcher area has a very strong bad smell . This place is TRASH! Cant even tell the workers about any concerns because they either dont care or they cant do anything for you. Will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

I will not go anywhere else for now except here. This place is a 10 star. Thank you ranch market for having everything in stock and not hoarding all the meats and goodies like other supermarkets. Food is good in the food court..looks clean from what I can see. Other than that weird smell near meat section you must have to get accustomed too I guess. Wouldnt by bakery items as in enclosed shelves are flies! Not very often do I go but do like their green chili.

So expensive. Everything is overpriced. Go to Frys instead. The customers are pushy and rude. Any place that sells imitation cheese as regular cheese is a scam for poor people. It smells like fish.

I am in love with their yellow corn fresh made tortillas, carnitas & fruit waters. The store is a bit of a drive from where I live, Walmart is closer but those tortillas make it worth the drive. The employees are friendly & ever since the whole covid pandemic started, they have done what they can to keep up with mask and distance regulations. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.

I love this store. I shop here for my family, they have really good deals. 4 2- liter sodas for $5, 4 easy mac and cheeses for $5. Just a couple things I got today, reasonable pricing. They are also very courteous, so if youre standing in line waiting to checkout, a worker will move you over to a lane thats empty or about to be. Very nice.

Best place to get pan dulce. Like no other. Also if youre making barbacoa in the Crock-Pot youre going to want to get your meat here. Beef cheeks.

This is a nice market with exceptional prices on produce and meats (today I got amazing t-bone steaks like 2 inches thick for $5 a pound absolutey tender and delicious), the only reason for the 4 stars is that being that I am only English reading and speaking its sometimes tough to communicate with some of the staff, but I must say that they are always super nice and super helpful to the best of their abilities.

Now this is my opinion only feel free to disagree but Best Fresh Tortillas Ive had! And you cant disagree because you dont know what other tortillas Ive had in my life. Thank You Ranch Market!

Horrible service at food counter. 1 person working the counter while you have 10 plus people waiting to order food. 1 pound of carnitas took 25 minutes of standing around to complete. All the while you have other workers behind the counter just staring. Nobody coming to help. Horrible.....

If you look for mexican food supplies fresh fruit/ vegetables/corn and flour tortillas, cheese, etc Ranch market is one of the best places to go

Love the hot food ready to eat or to take home. Back in the seafood area of the store you can buy fish and theyll season and fry it for free on request. Great for making fish tacos with their warm corn tortillas made in house.

This place had been one of my favorites mexican groceries store but lately since the pandemic issue, a few produce are not available like before.

I love that they have ready made food for when Im running late and dont feel like getting junk food. Their deals on groceries are top notch. Their checkout times need a little work though. I will say that the long lines are a testament to the great deals but there have been times where the checkout took longer than expected due to the cashiers chatting with each other. Other than that, its a great place to go to for a tasty meal and good looking fruits and veggies.

Of all the Los Altos, this is the best one.Huge selection of pan dulce, fresh made corn tortillas and chips.The have a well stocked produce section. The salsa bar has an excellent variety of salsas, ceviches, and fresh squeezed juices. All made in store.The meat counter stocks just about every cut available of beef, pork and chicken.The hot food bar makes great tortas, street tacos and burritos.The prepared foods is a great and economical way to feed the family. Lots of meat and side choices.The seafood department fries fish for free. And they have a pretty good selection of ice cold beers.If you are planning a barbecue this weekend, this is a great place to stock up.

This is the worst store to go to for meat and seafood. First, the store always smells. I have gone twice now in 6 months and both times have been sold meat and the fish that were both bad. The fish I bought yesterday and its temperature was room temperature. It is an embarrassment to have to return something because they are not handling the food correctly. I will be in contact with the Health Department tomorrow morning concerning this. This store needs to be closed down. I will no longer return to this store and I will keep posting reviews of this recent incident.

Just got back home from ranch market, I bought some steaks and other things. Ranch market has outstanding prices but I opened up the steaks (for labor day weekend 2017) and the first thing I noticed was the foul odor so I pick up the steaks and it looks purple on the back side( date on the steak Sep 10)Then I grab some of the bags of chips and notice they all have less than a month left.So Im wondering if they buy ready to expire products at a cheaper price and sell them to us.The food I eat in their in store restaurant is delicious but now I wonder if maybe Im eating expired food.I love the place but its just not the first time. Had to write a review this time around.

Fun store. Lots to look at as its a Mexican style shopping center. Meat center is amazing. Fresh meats, fish station, bakery is outstanding. The cakes are hand crafted and decorated to perfection.

There’s flies by the butcher block. I witnessed an employee not wash their hands after using the restroom. The store is so hot. It seems like the refrigeration is the only thing that is keeping the store cold. To top off I seen a mouse by the dairy section.

The good points first. The store is clean. The different aromas of freshly cooked and/or baked items fill your senses and your stomach demands attention.Some of the fresh produce isnt so fresh and on this particular day, they had cucumbers and avocados on sale. I couldnt find the avocados and the cucumbers were very low quality.The prices of items on sale are good, otherwise they might be a little less than your corner convenience store. So other than some really good deals, there isnt a lot to attract this customer.A couple of suggestions... 1. Prices need to scan correctly at the register. 2. Simply put, you serve the public. There are those of us who do not speak Spanish. Having a customer service representative or cashier who CAN understand and be understood without shaming us, is a profitable and inclusive solution.My personal shopping experience on this particular day wasnt so great. Hence the 2 stars. If you cannot understand your customer, dont take an attitude. It isnt my fault you charged me incorrectly. I have to say 4 employees later and I finally talked to someone who spoke English? Unacceptable!

They never answer their phone rude service too thats why we dont frequent this location it needs better management for starters and is not as clean as some of the others.
