I called in about an hour and a half before for a last minute smog check and was able to come in with no problem. The prices were very clear and fair. Albert was excellent and efficient, and the whole process hardly took any time at all. Will definitely be coming back anytime I need a smog test, and I highly recommend this service!

California Smog is by far the best smog center in Glendale, actually in my opinion all of Los Angeles! Not only is the staff profesional but theyre personable as well, sometimes the two simple necessities are lacking at our local businesses, but not at California smog. The staff are quick and efficient, as well as knowledgeable and highly skilled due to at least 15 years in the field. We greatly appreciate the phenomenal service provided to us today. Awful experience. ZERO STARS! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Theres a reason why there was no business when we pulled up and no business when we left. No mistake, I should have trusted my gut instinct to drive away. Very rude owner, zero customer service skills. He never even connected our vehicle to test it but he made sure to collect our money upfront. He made false statements of our vehicle not passing never providing codes for the not passing Our vehicle has passed smog every single time it has been required by DMV. Our car has immaculate service records. This owner was very unethical with us and theres definitely a reason why he doesnt share in the dont pass dont pay values of a good smog check establishment. Hope me sharing my experience helps others!

A very professional establishment. Obviously, I needed to get a smog check in order to register my vehicle. The place is clean, well lit and easy to find. They are practicing social distancing and wearing masks. They have a coupon online for 2000 and newer car. Older cars cost a bit more which mine is. Next time I need a smog test I will return. Iwould recommend this place.

California Smog & Test is the best smog check station in the area! Ive gotten tests at other places where they arent nearly as nice or quick.The first time I came to them I was brand new to the state and didnt really understand the process. They explained the system to me and the ins and outs of the law. This is my second time coming and they remembered me from two years ago, I was blown away. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and really care about their costumers. I highly recommend getting your smog check here. Note-** I needed a star certified check this time around and they do those as well.

I went and had my annual smog check done yesterday. Usually, I get it done in Alhambra on Garfield Ave and Mission RD. I usually pay $30 including the certificate. Went up 4 yrs ago to $35.00. I think the original owner sold his business 2 yrs ago. Probably retired. So I was planning to go the one across from there in Alhambra. But didnt feel like driving out there since I live near Griffith PK. So I found this place on Google. They even have a coupon. So I thought Ill check this place out since is so close to my house. The gentlemans name is Albert. It seems like a good legit place, gets pretty busy. There were 3 cars ahead of me. I waited no more than 10 mins. When it was my turn, OMG!!! Within 4 mins, it was done. Now thats what I call super duper awesome service. Fantastic service and fast. Very courteous and professional. If you pay cash, you save $2.00. Albert is the most kind, gentleman and professional. The old school and that old fashion services that we all wish we had. The service was fast, and he was courtesy. Wow. I dont usually write reviews, especially for a smog check inspection. I live in the Glendale Burbank area and needed a smog check so I look on yelp and found this smog check station. I went in and was immediately greeted by the gentleman that was going to do the test. I literally gave him my keys, sat down for 5 minutes, read a magazine, and heard the good news that my car had passed the test. I paid a very cheap price and was out of there in less than 10 minutes.
