Very nice place for an afternoon visit.Currently undergoing new construction, Im looking forward to seeing the new facilities. They are using the old building toilets, and a new undercover outdoor cafe for the ice cream parlour is open.Across the road is their play area suitable for 12 and under. Also you can see donkeys and pigs which is fun for the kids.Of course I have to mention the ice cream which is very good, but dont turn up too late if you want your favourite flavour!

Excellent place to take the kids for a few hours when the weather is right. Most attractions are outdoors so be aware of that. Ice cream is world class. Theres a maze, play area at the bottom, a few animals to see and of course the orange elephant to slide down. Would recommend.

Visited today for the first time. It was very busy with a queue, however the Ice Cream was worth the wait. The young staff who took our orders were brilliant. The older lady on the Till was unfortunately rude! She ignored my wife who was trying to pay for our order with cash until I paid for the order with my card. It does say card payment preferred but it doesn’t say only card payment accepted. The Ice Cream however was delicious. I wish the Orange Elephant all the best. Would have been 5 out of 5 but due to rude staff down to 4!

Couldn’t stop going every day on our holidays once we had gone the first time.We were on our way back to the camping site when we passed the sign for the ice cream parlour down the road from the actual place. Having enjoyed ice cream in the past from places such as roskillys I had to give it a go.I’m so glad we visited this place as the ice cream is delicious and well priced. Very refreshing and enjoyable for the family. It’s a shame we couldn’t do the other bits on site due to having the dogs but would recommend a visit here!

Visited today with my two small grandchildren. A really great experience., very well laid out, felt completely safe and secure in every way.Only the need for lunch made us leave. The children loved The maize Maze and we had to do it twice for them. They liked the play equipment very much and spent ages diddling in the gigantic sand pits.!Exceptionally good value for money!

What a hidden gem. Stayed at a nearby campsite, and popped in out of curiosity. Was blown away by the lime and elderflower ice cream. Probably the best thing I have ever tasted. Only criticism is that they dont sell it to take home. I would have handed over plenty of cash for that pleasure.

Excellent Ice Cream, plenty of parking, family of 2 adults and 2 kids all had an ice cream and entry into meadow play area for just under £25 is good value and we totally did the Maise Maze. There is a smaller free play area with iconic Orange Elephant Slide if you just want to get Ice Cream and chill which is pretty good. In regards to the quality of the ice creams, I had the Totnes Toffee fudge which was delicious and my wife assures me the elderflower and lime is also an amazing flavour. Highly recommend.

Visiting Orange Elephant ice cream is the result of passing the huge plastic elephant (now orange with a cone, it was previously pink with a slide by the side of the M5 just south of Exeter on the north bound side) so many times over the years I have lost count.Anyway the ice cream is very good, huge range of flavours and not just the usual suspects, we had a sundae (banana split) - really nice, service and prices good. There is a play barn, not investigated, a field/orchard also not checked (extra cost but good for small ice cream eaters).Outside and inside eating areas, toilets etc.The buildings etc could be renovated some more however it is also a working farm and the ice cream is very good.Beware not open every day, check before going to avoid disappointment.

As from recent visits, the experience was wonderful ice cream, with a fantastic selection of flavours! However, the barn where you sit down to enjoy the fabulous ice cream is echoy, which causes more noise than I would have liked. On an aesetic issue the bare walls could do with brightening up, just in case the great views of the surrounding countryside are obscured by our summer rain.

The Ice Cream Parlour is great and the icecream tastes wonderful but there is a lady that works there, I presume owner or manager and she is extremely rude. I visited some weeks ago and she was very rude then but I put it down to stressful times etc. Today my sister in law visited and discovered they were closed, my fault as we had arranged to visit today with the children. She encountered the same woman and her rudeness knew no bounds, its not acceptable. My experience of this lady alone will mean that I will always warn people. Be nice! It costs nothing!
