I never get out of this store spending less than $60... Every single time! Costs have gone up a bit, originally prices were$1.11 for everything. Later prices went up to $1.30+ and now notices are up saying October 1 prices will increase to over $1.50 per item. Understandable with freight and employment costs. Cute Halloween decorations available now. Tons of make up, beauty, hair and home products. I visit this store at least 3 times a month. Highly recommend!!

This place charges a whopping tax of 10.25%! Unbelievable. Glendale only allows 0.750% according to the present district rate. Total rip off! The receipt says default tax

Okay, first off lets be clear that the items no longer cost $1. There has been a price increase and all items are now they $1.21. Which us fine depending on what you purchase. Dollar King does carry a somewhat better selection of certain products as opposed to other dollar stores. You can find the usual every day items that you consume sauce as personal hygiene products like soap and toothpaste, household items for cleaning, pet supplies, and cheap toys for the kids. They also offer a wide variety of greeting cards and helium balloons. One of the nice things about the store is they stock ice cold drinks which is nice for a quick cool down. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.

Wow! Its probably the most popular dollar shop in town. There are so many people buying things here. Two guys are in the parking lot directing people to turn in and out of parking lot. Insane! I have never seen any dollies store like this. Its like a Trader Joes version of dollar store. (Weird example.)Things are very organized and the price is reasonable. Even thought its not 99 cent, but with the selections you have in the store. I think its pretty good. I came in to get some Christmas gift wraps and bags. They have all kinds of holiday gifts bags and cards for you to choose from. And not to mention, some of them are pretty good/decent quality! Im very impressed by this store and will definitely come back when needed.

Store is nice and filled with values along with really friendly staff but parking is not good... The driveway to park is 1⃣ way which is problematic, especially when busy... The store itself is popular but social distancing isnt going on too good... I mean what can you do when your in your own lane and people just want to come and go by you within a range closer than 6 feet? This isnt the only store this happens but I mean its a reality.. Not everybody is playing by the rules and inside the store well you kind of need to fend for yourself. No security that I saw so I can imagine things get testy at times. I like the eagle rock mall location a bit better.. Although smaller the selection is still on point and parking is not an issue... But theres not too much bad to say about this location... Be safe family

Dollar King has such great products on sale it is wonderful to shop at and very nice because everything inside is just one dollar.

Usually in other dollar stores..mostly item cost is $1.00. Here nothins is $1.00. Minimun is $1.21.

Great selection. Good quality stuff. Their stuff is only $1(+tax), like the name implies! The name like $1 ONLY would imply $1 ONLY if sales tax were 200% Dollar Kings are the best, but this Glendale one is the best! You gotta check out their party stuff section. The crew is helpful and friendly!

What can I say. Dollar king is great. You pretty much get anything you want a dam would you go there. You pretty much always in a buying other things as you didnt know you needed lol. But its great because everything is a dollar is an change. I would recommend dollar king to all my family and friends and neighbors in Glendale California.

Good selection of good products. Store is very clean and well organized. Employees are very nice, although its not guaranteed that theyll know if they actually carry a product youre looking for or not. Ive asked for a couple of items and was told they dont carry it, only to find it myself a few minutes later.

This is my favorite dollar store. They get a ton of misprint mugs that I find hilarious. There is also a guard to keep the crackheads out, so thats nice.

This store needs serious work. It needs cleaned and shelves need straightened. Goods need to be organized and put away. The lone cashier was very sweet and helpful, but the store is clearly short - staffed. Still, the price is right.

So thankful to have this store in the area. Very well stocked, clean and nothing is over a dollar! NOTHING! They even carry some brand name merchandise, which boggles my mind how they can still sell it for a dollar. Service isnt too bad, they are helpful. This dollar store is in-between a Dollar Tree & 99 Cent Store. The binders and office supplies are really great quality. They have a number of art supplies for crafting and even a few canvas boards. We come here for our office supplies, poster board, and kitchen supplies. Parking is in the back with a few spots along the street. You have to turn off of Colorado to find the driveway to the back end parking. Entrances are both in front and in back, as are the registers.

Everything were $1.11 !Finally a discount store that everything has same price ! Like good old days, 99c prices were all 99c and $1 stores prices were all $1. Although there are still lots of 99c itemes in the 99c stores but These days you can not find any good stuff in 99c stores that are less than $2.99 and sometimes as much 10-15 dollars!The store is pretty much new , clean with lots of good items.

There are no available spray disinfectants for carts and empty hand disinfectants as well, no one is minding if clients are even wearing their masks or observe as much as possible distancing but there seem to be a handful of workers around, sad...

Yup, its cheap for sure. Some good buys actually, but also some junk. Definitely worth a visit. Parking lot can be a comedy of errors - be careful as you approach it.

Went in for a pencil sharpener and walked out with gift bags to use for Christmas. The selection was better and nicer looking than what I had just bought at a big chain drugstore. Lots to choose from. Go get it!

Its alright good stuff even bike lock for 1 dollar 11 cents. I wouldnt lock my bike with it. But i rather go to a 99 cent store. Dont lock your bike with 1 dollars lock it will just get stolen.

Extremely clean well stocked and organized! Staff was friendly and helpful. They didnt have the baby food I was looking for, but they did have a plethora of Rockstar flavors. It was the first time Id seen full size energy drinks there, I hope they continue to carry them. The store is divided into two parts, a party supplies section and then general wares. If you need balloons bags small cheap electronics, cheap kids toys, stationary or toiletries, they got some off brand version of them. Or overstock jettisoned by a larger retailer. Parking is easy, street or the lot behind, and the lines move quickly. They take card and cash. I just wish they would consistently have great prices on energy drinks, some weeks full Rockstars and the next, nothing but soda. Also, their tagline is nothing over $1.21, which could double and Id still shop there for many things where branding doesnt matter.

Its affordable but like a mini 99 cent store. Very similar to dollar tree except everything is 1.14. Does not accept ebt. That sometimes charge tax on food items, which they shouldnt.
