I had a flat tire and went to this location for a replacement. I was sold a “ road hazard warranty “ for 29$ for one tire without my knowledge. When I saw this on my receipt and asked if this was optional, I was told that it is optional but the tire comes with it automatically and I had to tell them to take it off. This is an very unethical sales practice. You don’t sell something optional to the customer without telling them and expect them to say that they don’t want it. I didn’t even know such a thing until I made payment for my tire and looked at my receipt. I am glad that I asked for a paper receipt, otherwise I might have missed this item that I did not request. I called the corporate office to complain, the agent I talked to acknowledged the issue and apologized couple times, and talked to the store manager when I was on hold. The manager wanted to talk to me for a refund for the road hazard warranty, and when I called him, he just directly asked for my credit card information, no apology or any anything. Even tho he was polite on the phone the whole time, even tho when I told him what they did was wrong but he never acknowledged the issue or apologized. He never said he was going to talk to his employees to fix this issue so it never repeats. So I am guessing this is a norm for them, they just charge you for an extended warranty until you say you don’t want it. Be careful when you conduct business with this location. Check your receipt throughly or just go somewhere else.

Although there was a mix-up about the meaning of my Free Battery Check coupon, I commend garage manager Dwayne Kahler and area manager Mr. Edgerton for providing professional solutions. Firestone Complete Auto Care demonstrates customer care in action and tries mightily to maintain standards despite the personnel shortage affecting most of the service sector. I would trust my vehicle to them again.

Went to the one on near Regency mall I was very disappointed I bought tires if the summer and they were really nice really helpful and everything I went back there to tell them that they sell me Add ride on a dead rat and I asked the guy if you can get me in at 12:30 today and he told me I had to wait two weeks because I’ll bring it in the morning so it was very inconvenient for me and I have trouble getting up in the morning so I read this place and in the prices are out rages I’m getting the same tires at discount tires in Staples Mill Road Mill Road For same tire Hundred dollars difference it’s crazy so I would never be trying to fire stone again and I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my family members I think discount tires is a wonderful place to go and Staples Mill Road

I work in hotels, so i know good customer service! She was so professional and polite; answered all my questions thoroughly! I was in and out in no time! Firestone should definitely hire more like Sydnee!

Told me I could get my two tires changed in 45 minutes but didn’t end up having the tires in stock. Didn’t tell me they just drove to ge them from another location. Took 2.5 hours. Then they did it incorrectly and had them fix it again immediately. Drove down the road and my hubcaps went flying off. Went back by twice and they kept telling me a manager would reach out but of course never did. Lost my business for poor work and lack of follow through. Cancelling Firestone card as well.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I called to ask about doing a state inspection and arrived 20 mins later and they said they could not do it. The attitude that I received when I got there was unwelcoming. Then he told me its going to be a long wait and then he said he cant. So I got 3 different stories. The issue was he didnt want to. He could have told me that on the phone. The issue was it is a ice storm coming and nasty weather but that is why I called to make sure. I live 5 mins from them but the fact in this weather for nothing is unsettling. I will never come back to this Firestone again.

This Firestone use to be pretty fair. I was a long time customer with 5 cars that I had in yearly maintenance rotation. Only recently have I noticed the overpriced state inspections and regular maintenance items.

Polite staff and usually has great availability, however not mentioning that the tire i wanted didnt fit my car, and instead just putting on the alternate without letting me know, thanks to the website having the incorrect information was not very cash money. Technically part of my problem is the websites fault partly for having the wrong tire size listed, however at least calling me to let me know that the tire i wanted wasnt the correct tire, so the alternate will have to suffice would have been nice.

Will not go back to NTB they gave me the run around for a oil change and a state inspection. I made appointments qnd they keep telling me to come back with an appointment. I cant afford to keep leaving my job to get my car fix. I qm so done with them. Will never go back. They excuse is that they had another car in front of me so why keep making appointment to for me and the car they had in front of me had 9 millions problems. They offer me q free inpection and oil change. I said no and went some where else after they told me it will be the next day.

We had a rough start at first but Garrett is an amazing person. Due to vehicle challenges I had to go without my vehicle overnight, but I had no where to go and no one to call. This man stood all the way up and took full ownership of the challenge and paid for my overnight stay in a near by hotel. He has no idea what that meant to me. The older man working in the office could have cared less about my personal needs and was very condescending when I shared. He attempted to pass the buck and his disposition towards me completely flipped once I explained the seriousness of my vehicle needs. If course, his tune switched the following day when I came to pick up and make my payment but the damage had been done. I am giving them 5 stars because of my experience with the other people there and Garret (mechanic). We need more Garrets in the world. He deserves some form of appreciation outside of a pat on the back. I thank you so very much!

My grandparents were scammed by a Firestone, my parents were, but they wont be able to get me. Took my car in for a small leak in the tire, expecting a quick fix. They were fast, I will give them that, but their answer was not expected. Ok, maybe their is a nail too close to the sidewall, maybe I can get around that. What I cant get around is the dent in my hub cap, which to some may not seem that big of a deal on an old car, but its my old car and I notice it. The only fix I get to that problem, Sorry Sir, no thanks, that wont fix my dent. Upon further inspection I noticed something else, because they did not know I had a dash cam running. For 35 minutes while fixing my tire they went under my hood, I must be mistaken, the tire is obviously under the hood. Stay away from this Firestone, they only want your money and to find a list of things wrong with your car. Firestone, if you want to make it right by a customer, contact me and fix my hub cap - 2000 Chevy Suburban brought in on 6/12/2018, call me and fix this.

Were on the road traveling down to take our son to college in South Carolina just now when a loud flapping noise began underneath the car. We stopped and Don took a look at it for us. Went into the Brook road location thinking I would need both brake pads and rotors. After the free inspection offered by Firestone I was informed that I only needed front rotors which after my approval were installed in less than hour. Made a huge difference and didnt come with a higher than necessary price. Honesty is hard to find these days. Dewayne, the garage manager is very knowledgeable.

This was a great experience. There was an unexpected 1 tire flat at night. So I got tow service to pull my car next door Good year to get tire replacement next morning. And when I went there in the morning, the staff said all 4 tires should be replaced no matter what, and this is the rule. We have to follow it. Even he didnt really check the car, so I asked why and give me the reasonable reason. He stuttered and later ended up to changing his word, 1 tire replacement is a available., when I said Then I just want to replace to spare tire that the car has. All his attitude was not polite, but arrogant. I felt he was saying something not honest to get more money. So I went here Stonefire right next door that had better price, fast service, kind and welcoming.And they just replace the 1 tire with satisfactory service. Particularly the staff named Cole, he was very kind, and explained the information clearly and the service was super quick. He saved us a lot of time and money. Thank you!

Took my company car in for spark plug change and oil change. I dropped it off on a Friday. Picked up on a Sunday. Drove it Monday for the check engine light to come on. According g to the ford dealer the spark plugs were never changed. So I took it back. Spoke to the manager Dwayne myself. Let him know I was upset. He never said he was sorry for the mishap. The only comment was he had spoke to the fleet company. If it was my personal car I would have been highly upset. Dealer charged the fleet company $144 plus I lost two days of on the road sales. Not acceptable. Poor service. Mistakes are made yes but own up to it. Be honest. Poor customer service

Been taking my cars there for years. I feel overall theyre pretty trustworthy definitely know what theyre doing and they have always taken care of me. If I run into any issues with anything theyve done theyve always been quick to make sure they resolve it quickly. Hit something in the road today that tore a big chunk out of my tire brought it to the shop they fit me in quickly with my roadside assistance the new tire only cost me around $50.

My wifes car had no ac. I took it to this location and lets just say that didnt really help. They were considerate on the fact that they didnt charge me the $100 that I was supposed to be charged. I was told what the problem was which I fixed; however, then the ac still wasnt working. I brought it back again. They did a deeper run-through of the problem. $174 charged. The problem was now to cost $1000 something. Im assuming that we cant find out the problem the first time and then were charged until they find out? I was told today when I complained that its illegal to put the dye into the car (which I can understand) but why wait after couple of hundred dollars have been spent and hours without a car to let me know about that. I cant trust that they will figure this out for me to spend more money on them. NO WAY

Went to different shop after they said they had tires when I got there they didnt. Call firestone and they told me to come right over which I did made me feel better they not only had my tires but at a great price. Also did a aligment check to be sure all was good. Thanks Firestone I will ne back

Been taking our cars and trucks there for a couple of years, for oil changes and tires. Oil changes are fair priced. Today I went to take one of my cars in and just warned them that it has a brand new paint job and to please be careful and the lady wrote it down in the notes. Boss said to be careful with the paint I ignored that and was waiting. Then she comes back out and tells me my car is too low. No one even went outside near or looked at my car. And mind you my mustang is not any lower than my mini cooper they have been changing the oil on for a while now. Will be moving on to a new business if they cant change oil in a car with brand new paint and use the ride height as an excuse.

Two things of note. I have been using Firestone for maintenance, and the dealer where I purchased the car new suggested that I come to them for free oil change and tire rotation. Attempted to make an appointment with them and the earliest available was 4 weeks. Drove to my Firestone shop and the service adviser LaQuita was great to work with and scheduled the appointment - in 3 days.During every visit, the entire interaction with the manager - Dwayne is always professional and informative. During this visit, at the 7:30 appointment time, the shop was slow and there was a good exchange of information. They immediately took my car into the shop and beat their previous time record for oil change and tire rotation. Was pleasantly surprised when Dwayne applied a coupon to my oil change costs. Recommended alignment, which is likely needed. I declined and Dwayne was not pushy about any of the additional service recommendations. I also requested a quote for 4 tire replacement and that information was delivered on time.Very pleased with my experiences at this shop and have recommended it to several of my friends. I appreciate the professionalism, people skills and service oriented exercised by Dwayne, LaQuita and the technician #15-Eric (although I did not interact with him).

Got a flat tire on way to dc and had to have it fixed quickly. They estimated it would take 3 hours to fit us in but they fixed it within an hour to get us back on the road. Each employee was so pleasant and cared about getting us out quickly.

Went to have a tire taken off the rim, have a new one put on, inflated, and balanced. Clerk didnt listen to anything I said even though repeated myself multiple times. As a result I had to pay for three different charges three times. Did not get the price I was quoted . As far as the tire it was good. No problems. The clerk just didnt listen to me.

Will never go there again. Took my truck there for and inspection and they failed it for a lower ball joint and a wiper blade. Ok, people, wiper blade I will buy that idea. Lower ball joint uhhhhh..... no. I had my doubts about that. Reason being is because I replaced all of them less than 5000 miles ago. My truck sits 90% of the time. So, something like that just doesnt wear out from sitting for the short period of time that it sat between the time I replaced them to the time I had it inspected. What did I do?? I got a second opinion. I took it someplace else and they said there is nothing wrong with it. Everything on my truck was fine. So, if you got the money and you want to blow it on needless repairs you know where to go. Im not saying they are totally dishonest. But, all they want is to make money. Do yourself a favor though, find a good and honest repair shop to do the work for you. I did.

Exceeded expectations! I found myself experiencing a little car trouble while on a long and unexpected road trip. Firestone was the closest facility and open to the earliest. When I explained I was just passing through and in a bit of a jam, the technicians promised they would have me taken care of and back on the road in an hour and a half. I was a little skeptical because there was in a full parking lot of vehicles needing service AND every bay in garage was full too, AND a line of people waiting for the doors to open. But they took excellent care of me. And had me back on the road 15 minutes earlier than promised even. A+++ service, very grateful!

I took my car there a month ago to have an alignment done. They did an alignment with my car having a bad tie rod end. They alerted me on the issue and i replaced it. I took it back to have it realigned, i told them my car was jerking really bad and they said they had taken care of the problem. No they made it worse. Just took my car somewhere else for an inspection, and found it was the lower control arm bushing was gone. I would not trust their technicians they cannot tell what they are looking at clearly when its right in front of their faces! Do not take your car here.

I live near the west end in Richmond. I prefer coming to this firestone than the one on broad st. They usually get you in pretty quickly if you walk in.I once brought my car here for an oil change and they accidentally made a huge dent on my corolla s 2010. They admitted it was their fault and immediately took care of the problem. They replaced the part and paid for everything. They took care of everything very smoothly.Ever since I bring my car here for any check ups or repairs. They always give me outstanding and professional service at the best price. They are very friendly as well. I completely recommend this place for car repairs.

This would be a 5-star, because their work is fine, but I had an issues while my car was there and they were not helpful. Go there to get your basics, no problem, but dont expect anything above or beyond.

Call them to pick up me car after I had a flat tire and need an alignment. Came in they told my they didnt align it and charge my 178 to change an 85 dollar tire. Complete rip off. My front right tire had a slight problem and I didnt go through firestone because they were charging my too much. And now its terrible. Im not sure what they did but for the amount I paid for one tire these guys are worth it go anywhere else. Dont get charged thru the roof go to a normal tire center thats not going to screw you over. Now I have to go to someone that knows what theyre doing and is not going to charge me thru the roof. Warning one tire change for 176!!!!

(Going the Extra Mile) I would like to thank the young lady and the mechanic that was working on the evening of May 11, 2018, for helping me and my wife in our time of need. We had car trouble due to a faulty battery. They were about to close but still did all they could to help us. They did not have a battery or a starter in stock if that had been needed. What they did have meant so much more... they were concerned. In addition, to that they had portable jumper cables and were able to get us going... and for that, once again, thank you.

Wish a no star was an option. My appointment was scheduled for 10am, its now 11:56 and 1 new tire has not been mounted. Their team has made mistakes on every vehicle that was serviced while I have been waiting. Team is more concerned about selling their credit card and boys and girls club donations. Can I just get a new tire?

Great!! I called all around 8 a.m.for an appointment. I was given a 10 a.m. appointment the same day. The work was completed and I was on my way home in approximately an hour.

I went there for a tire patch, they tried to say that it was too close to the edge, however the mgr lied. I could clearly see that it was not. The screw head was protruding fron the ctr. Tread space. Every single customer was told this . One customer stated that they were very dishonest. A customer stated there was a shop a few blocks away that does honest and excellent work. All the customers went to this fly- by-night tire shop. They were professional, and used a a patch on everyones tire, neither where any puncturewounds near the edge as Firestone stated. I truly hate dishonest up selling, profit driven over honesty businesses. Ir i could have given a negative star, i would have.

The worst expierence I have ever had. Even though I brought my car in just to get 3 new tires put on, some how they were so poor at their job that they touched my radiator cap and couldnt tighten it back up. Due to their lack of know how my radiator cap broke and coolant ended up all over my engine making it over heat. I ended up spending all most 300 dollars to get the tires and had to spend almost 200 dollars to fix what they messed up. I also had to miss work because after calling them livid, the only thing they could say is,bring it back to us and we will look at it tomorrow because we are closing soon. All mangers their are idiots and rude and incompetent. They lie and will blame you. Oh and if you tell them that your not dumb and dont believe their lies they will hang up on you. So if you love your car, or need your car dont bring it their. You will end up having to take it some where else a few hrs later to get it fixed.

Massive over-quote on tires, but great service for my oil and trip check

What a big difference between this Firestone and the one on Broad, service was great, took in for tire repair, the computer in the car kept saying left rear low kept trying to put air in still saying low took to this Firestone, flat repaired on right side and reprogram my computer to tell me the correct tires pressure for each tire. I was in and out in 30 minutes, best part at no cost to me, the other place l waited 3 hours for new tires to be put on and l was the only person in the waiting room.

Had my car state inspection there and they said it needed a light bulb and head light aimed. $12 for light and $19 for head light aimed which was a very good price. Will go back again. Thanks.

My experience was not positive. The VA safety inspection was used to generate additional service hours in my opinion. For the second year in a row, the headlights needed adjustment even though the mounts are secure and no repairs or bulb replacements were made during the following year. The inspection also rejected front brakes. I asked for a rejection sticker. This Honda Civic was subsequently taken to a Honda dealership for an airbag recall and subsequently reinspected. Miraculously, the brakes and headlights were fine! Dealerships push service hours. If the service techs had thought they could reject, they would have. I do most of the minor mechanical work on my vehicles because of situations like the one I encountered at Firestone. I should have complained to the Virginia State Police, but most inspectors know that items like headlight alignment are very subjective and unscrupulous practices may be hidden in the inspection regime.

So we purchased 4 tires 2 years ago with warranty. We started hearing a hum from the tires and brought it in for a check. The sales rep stated the tires in the back were horribly cupped and we needed to purchase 2 new tires. I asked him why did we get the warranty and he stated it was not covered because I didnt rotate the tires every 5 thousand miles. We put 20000 miles on the tires in total. The rep stated he would call me back with a price for two new tires and he never did. I am very dissatisfied with the service and product. Wal-Mart had better tires for 70 dollars each..here I come.. they might have terrible service as well but at least I wont have to pay double for the same horrible service.

Replaced rear tires and they broke the valve stem! I found out a few hours later when my Cargo Van was broke down on the side of the road. I was upsold a roadside service package which I found out on the side of the road did not cover my van which was a commercial vehicle, I paid 75 dollars to another company to come and loosen the lugs which had been air ratcheted on and assisted in the tire change myself. $430.00 to firestone and $75.00 to a private service, $505.00 for 2 tires and I had to swap one 4 hours later. Hardly worth a good review. Beware buyers and be forewarned. Avoid this place if you need anything specialized or out of the ordinary serviced. Always double check their work yourself, I learned the hard way.

THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU HERE! Been to this firestone three times. First time was to get a alignment which they offer a lifetime warranty which is fair. Same day they put in a couple broken lights and claimed one light is “bad” and needs to be replaced because it was not blinking when the flash was on, and they could not fix it till the next day cause their “guy” was not in that evening. I rejected their requested to let my car stay overnight, and return it the next morning. Came back the next morning and they wanted to charge me 50-70 just for a diagnostic, not even including labor or parts (which is ridiculous) so I took my car to another reputable nationwide company to check it out. A guy came out to check it and all it was a lose wire fixed it in 2 minutes no charge. Came back to Firestone a third time to get my brakes checked. They claimed I needed my master cylinder replaced and a brake booster which ended up being nearly $1000 after labor (again ridiculous). Took it to the other automotive company again this time, and all that was wrong was a bad hose. Which cost $200 after labor. Be wary before you do service here they are trained to rip you off cause they don’t think you will question their diagnostic. Before you do business try to take your vehicle somewhere else and see what they quote. I bet you will be suprised

Very professional business who gave me a fair price and had my vehicle reparations completed in an optimal timeframe. Along with fixing my blown tire, they were able to show me signs of potential stuctural damage they found, replace my filters free of charge, and even let me pick out one item in the McDonalds drive thru.

Horrible service. A tire repair took over 3 hours to do. I had an appointment, but I had to wait 3 hours. The mechanic i first met was extremely rude and dismissive.When I demanded the corporate number it was written on a post it note. so corporate does not want to take complaints seriously.Ive contacted their corporate office to file a complaint. The only thing that happened Was the manager of that location tried to call me once and that was it. No apologies, nothing.Oh, I noticed your 5 star reviews look alot like those that work there.

Been here twice now - the first time to replace a radiator and hoses ($500ish), and the second to get my tires replaced and an alignment (less than $400 for 4 tires and an alignment). Ive always been given reasonable (if not discounted) pricing for the repairs and everyones been extremely understanding with my work schedule.P.S. Theres a girl that works there with red hair. Shes awesome.P.P.S. Everyone at the shop is nicer to you if you ride in on a motorcycle because they all have bikes, too.

Bad sevice in the state inspection, they replace de windshield even those are new. And never return parts with the excuse that it is in the dumpster. Also insisted in you have to run your car whit the fail sticker because, they dont have the parts in the moment to replace. And intentionally broke the scrolls in the replacement tires to charging more money with exaggerating cost.

You just cannot get better service anywhere else.

We agreed to sell our 2001 Honda Civic to my wifes aunt. She flew in from Ohio to get the car. Before driving back , she wanted to take it to Firestone just to be sure she would have no issues on her return trip. Paul told her over the phone that she should run away from buying the car. He hadnt even seen the car yet! We took it in anyway. When we arrived Paul was very rude. He basically told us that we were ripping off our Aunt. He still had not actually looked at the car. To me, that shows extremely poor judgement and a complete lack of professionalism. Ill definitely go somewhere else in the future.

Was second in line in the morning. I told the techs that at least one of my tires had a broken steel belt and was shaking badly. They sold me on replacing both front tires. This took 3 hours. After they test drove it, I left and got on the highway. One of the rear tires had also failed internally. You would think that if I was unsure which wheel was bad, theyd put each one on the balancing machine.

They do a good job here.

Best of the best. They always get me out quicker than expected and by golly they do a fine job. The firestone tires are GREAT!!!!! Ive ran over nails and not even an air leak, and I drove for another 3 weeks before finally coming in. Customer serive is exceptional. Always a warm smile followed by Hi, welcome to Firestone. All the poeple who gave this place a bad review work for goodyear.

Today my wife dropped her vehicle off for a state inspection. They tried to charge her for two 2357 bulbs on the left side of her car, parking and brake light. The car only has one 2357 bulb on the left side. They also tried to tell her the LF low beam was out. When I arrived all the bulbs/lamps were working. I found the LF low beam wiring harness needed to be replaced not the bulb. A less than $3 harness from the dealer. They wanted over $50 for a new low beam bulb. They also said the head lamps are out of alignment. Seeing as how the tried to take advantage of her on the bulbs I seriously doubt the RF low beam was out of alignment. They also made recommendations on the estimate she did not ask for. They made these recommendations on miles on the car not by looking to see if these things needed to be done. I will be contacting the store manager and BBB in the morning.

So we have a commercial account at firestone. And we called the day before telling them we needed all new tires. We go in first appointment they had at 745am we got told it should be about 90mins. So we left and went to breakfast an hour later we come back and our car is untouched. 2.5 hours later we are walking out. After a total of 3.5 hours of waiting. Worst customer service and worst service out there. If I were you I would not go. Goodyear is right next door. Better service and better customer service.

On 01/15 I called to get a price and availability for trailer tire. They said they dont have it but can get it in about 40 min. So, we agreed on it and headed their way. I got there just about under 40 min. (So you have better understanding - I was passing through from NJ to SC, I hail cars on 35 trailer). I walk in, guy name Marco greets me, I told him that I spoke to Leroy and here for trailer tire, they said that tire not there yet, and Ive got to wait. Time when I called in was 11:15am, my arrival there 11:50am. So Im waiting. And waiting. And waiting.... Around 1pm, Im starting asking question, how much longer? Marco replies: should be any minute now. So, Im waiting... Around 1:40 Im asking the guy to check the status of that tire. Guy name Leroy coming out and asking me what side of the trailer and etc. he asked me if I can drop cars of trailer, I said no. I explained that any 2,5 ton jack will lift it without any problems, I also explained that I could drive up on block to help lifting as well, he replies Ok and disappears inside. So, Im waiting, waiting... Time is now 2:25ish... Im asking Marco to make a phone call to person who supposed to make a delivery, he calls someone, they telling him 15 min... At 3:15 Im getting frustrated and upset and then finally, truck pulls in with my tire. Im thinking great.... But hold on... Im still waiting and waiting..around 3:40 Im pink on the face asking Marco whats going on?! He goes inside of the shop and tells me, sorry... we can put it on because we dont have a jack that can lift this trailer?!?!? WHAT?!!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?Guy offered me to buy a tire and put it in somewhere else... WOW! What a STORE?!?!Really?!?!? Just WOW!

My go to place for auto care. They do a great job and always are pleasant to deal with. Tell them 804michael sent you.

Worst company to have my cars worked on. Had to have one particular tire hub replace 3 times because it went bad from work done at same Firestone store. Blew up engine by putting water in the coolant of a car in winter time when it was below freezing for a couple months straight.

Manager Dwayne Kahler and his crew do a great job. Ive been a happy customer for 7 years.

Faulty repair, replaced ball Joint and control arm and completely disconnected two weeks later in an intersection. Do not trust them.

Honest, reliable and very helpful. Always treated like Im their number one priority.

Does a credible job in the promised timeframe. I would go back.

One star isnt low enough for the rating of this Firestone rating. We have a commercial account with them and we got treated horribly. We just needed an inspection and it would take not even an hour to do. They told us that no other shop in the area would be able to see us for the day, and we went to Goodyear and they had it done within 2 hours. Do not visit this location. Very, very disappointed.
