Surprisingly it was well cleaned & organized, in comparison to others I have been at. First time coming to the one in Gilroy & will be back. Good selection for holiday items, toys and party supplies.

Good store. Shelves very organized and lots of good product. Employees are hard workers and pleasant to interact with. Cheap stuff that is high quality. You could shop here and nowhere else and save a lot of money. Lots of premium toys. Organic cosmetics with super simple ingredients, and everything you need for your home and office. Produce is ama$ing deal.

99 Cents is somewhat deceptive, as prices only have to end in .99 to qualify; its not a dollar store. That said, I did find some nice looking medium-size storage bins for $1.99 each.

Shop carefully and you will always find a great deal.

Party supplies are pretty good and cheap of course crafts food. All good i could live there. Just those lines can be crazy sometimes

Is there any associates on the floor? Becuase there were 2 people without mask and other people that dont know how to put on a mask. I get that some people dont know how to put on a mask but at least tell people to put on masks before entering the store. Its no big deal its just annoying seeing people unable to do a simple thing. Just wanted to let you know before someone else adress it and threatens to call corporate.

I have always said that the 99 Cents Only stores have the best selection, and are the best of the dollar stores, but this location is a joke. Having worked in a similar store, I can say the employees here do not care. I stopped here to use the restroom and grab 2 things. When they called for assistance unlocking the restroom, the employee just moseyed her way over, and didnt even act like I or the other customer were there. The restroom was filthy, with toilet paper rolls on the floor of the bathroom, which was not dry. The shelves of the aisles were chaos, not stocked, messy with tons of things out of place, including eaten food. What was in the aisles looked like it had been knocked over like bowling pins. There were at least 4 people on shift, but the 2 people on register were going rather slow, showing a not-caring demeanor, and not calling for register assistance. Both lines had over 20 people in them, stretching down aisles of the store, and when assistance finally was called, it never came. One cashier had to go over to another to get change and his register was left unattended for 3 minutes with 20 people in line. For the amount of people that I waited behind to buy 2 things, this was worse than a trip to the DMV. I would assume they dont like their job because they are understaffed or a management thing, but it needs to get fixed or nobody will want to shop here. The whole store painted the picture that it needs help, and isnt getting it. Even the front automatic door sounds like its going out!I stopped here for a quick stop and was here over half an hour. It took me less than a minute to grab the 2 things I bought. Not worth my time or money at all, will not return.

Right when this store started looking cleaner the nation get hit with the virus, it didnt stop these employees from doing there job and continuing with great customer service. I hope that 99 employees are receiving the raise in pay like the other essential stores during this time. I want to applauded Jonna, Christian, Doreen, Lupe, Felipe, and all the other cashiers, stockers and managers. Keep up the good work!

I am sorry to say this place is gross. The only reason they get a star is because there is a good variety of merchandise. Sometimes it’s even taken out of the boxes it was packed in. There are carts full of random product, dolly flats full of unpacked boxes blocking the aisles, and the floor has not been mopped in at least a month.I stood in a line 20 people long and watched three employees walk by. I know not everyone is trained to be a cashier but at least one other person is! Not one word of apology or explanation to those standing in line from employees not helping. The poor girl ringing people up even called for help. I asked her if it was usually like this: understaffed. She said lately, yes. Get it together management. What a shame. I am a loyal customer of the 99 cent only stores. I find them wherever I go. I have never been in one so poorly managed and maintained.

Always great deals. Right now there are lots of pottery for plants and garden stuff. Also grabbed some fairy wings for my daughter. They never go out of style; )

I want to know why the name of the store is 99 cents Only? Not everything in the store is 99 Cents. Thats false advertising, if you ask me.

The manager seems to me ,that doesnt care about social distance any more....and just two cashiers working....when is a busy day.

This store has almost any little gadget Ive looked for .A lady named Rebecca that works there was greeting people and offering help when I walked in . When paying for my item , I left my cellPhone on the counter . Later when I realized I had left it I quickly phoned in .Rebecca answered the phone and said that she had it put away and I could come get it . Saved me from having to buy another $ 800.00 phone .The only downfall to this store is that the lines to pay and so long .

Same as most every 99 only store. Most of the employees are on the floor stocking merchandise so that leaves 1 cashier and long lines. By the time she calls for second cashier youve put your things down and are walking out the door.

Whenever I go to this store, theres rarely more than one register open... Even if four or more people in line. However, it is usually stocked with plenty of bargains. I like the selection of fresh fruits, vegetetables, and the breads. They have Milk at about the same price as Smart and Final next door to them, but they recently stopped selling Fat Free.

This is a nice store .. great prices .the only thing I dont like is that whoever manage this place should . find a better way to have cashiers open more then 3 registers this place is packed almost every specially holidays including San Valentines and Easter.. please 99¢ owners do something about it..store location Gilroy CA.

If your planning on a 99 cent only store this one isnt it. Everything is cheap but its 99 cents and above. The wording is of the name is just you get you thinking. But dont get me wrong youll get good deals.

The name of the store is 99 cents only, not very many things in there is 99 cents. Walmart has better prices. The dollar tree across town has EVERYTHING for a dollar. The name should be Discount City.

Still love this place, even though the pricing structure has changed. Veggies that were 99c are now 1.99. It used to be 3 eggplants for 99c, then it was 2, now it is only one. I understand that prices are going up every where. Due to theft, the shelves are about 2 ft lower, for better visibility of customers. This means less seletion. What a shame!

Lots of unique items, and I just want to say , everything is not just 99cents, it used to be. All items are 99cents and above but still good deals.

This place is always busy! Its rare to see more than one checker. Surprisingly as busy as it is its rather clean of course minus the restroom. That needs a deep cleaning.

Pretty much the same items everytime we go. Produce looks bad most of the time and Ive seen expired items on the shelves but sometimes you can find some pretty good stuff.

Every day there is something new, if you like it, grab it, because you might not see it again

They sucked went to pay with my EBT card and they said it wasnt working when they said to put something on the door same their EBT machine was not working therefore I would not recommend going there
