Went in for a check engine light. They misdiagnosed twice costing about $1000 and bent my door backwards(pictured) like Tommy Boy. The manager tried to say the door was like that initially but then said its possible they may have just made it worse, which was ridiculous. You can see where they backed out and caught the inside of the door (pictured). Good luck if you have an issue here. Store management will not correspond in email. General management will do nothing (picture). An honest shop would pay for what they broke. They told me to put it on my insurance. Uh no.

Great service for great value! I had to do a tire rotation & wheel alignment before a spontaneous roadtrip, and they were able to schedule me for the following day. Steve was being honest about my vehicle condition, but he went out of his way to give me a super affordable quote for all the service. The staffs are super efficient, professional, and friendly to their customers. I highly recommend this place to everyone in Gilbert!!

I always come to Cobra for oil changes but today I took my car in after having some issues with the wiper blades not working. After looking it over they fixed the issue in minutes and didnt even charge me. I cannot get over how amazing this place is they never upsell or lie, they are always on top of things and are the nicest people! I have recommended to literally everyone I know and will continue to. BEWARE!!! A couple of Saturdays ago , ( the 26th ) I dropped off my car at COBRA TIRE AND AUTO a NAPA location in Gilbert Arizona. My power steering and water pump were leaking. I purchased my own water pump and asked if they would install it. The manager ( Steve ) said theyre really not supposed to but he would do it in my case but with no warranty . I said thats fine , the car has almost 200,00 miles on it so I dont care. He said it would be a few days and I said that was fine. A few days later I got a voicemail from him apologizing for the delay. He said a man called in and another man got hurt. This was Thursday. I stopped in after work on Thursday to check on the progress. Steve stated the cost would be $477.00. He said he would call when it was ready. The next day ( Friday) I got a text saying the car was ready to be picked up. I went Saturday morning ( so 1 week later) to get it and Steve said he needed just another hour for it to be done . I showed him the text. He said he didnt know who would have sent it. He said come back in a couple hours and it would be ready. I came back maybe 2 1/2 hours later and was told that Steve was out and my car was apart ! A man said he didnt know who was working on my car and they were waiting for instructions on why it was there ! At some point I was also told by Steve that it wasnt the power steering leaking, it was the rack and pinion. ( The leak is a foot and a half away) I said What about my water pump ? He shrugged his shoulders and looked at the other guys. I asked what HAS been done ? NOTHING !!! It sat for a week and a few hours with nothing being fixed yet he had quoted me $477.00. The water pump was still in the box sitting on the seat. If youre head is spinning after reading this , try being me at the shop ! I was just about speechless and left. The man that broke the news to me was tall and thin and very nice. I could see he was at a loss and apologized all over the place. They were closing soon and I didnt want to wait and see if Steve would even show up . There was nothing for him to say anyway. I wouldnt believe him if he told me what time it was !

Well I went today to get my oil changed at another shop. They wouldnt touch it because my oil drain plug is stripped. Cobra was the last place I got my oil changed. Now I am just waiting to see what it will cost me to get it fixed. Would not recommend obviously.

Amazing service and the guys went the extra mile and were able to save me a lot of money on the rotors of my back brakes. I thought I needed new ones but turns out they were able to fix the ones I already had and didn’t charge me for that. They went above and beyond trying to make the most out of the Groupon I purchased. Very happy and I most definitely will be back. Thanks guys!

What I liked was the told me what was needed, what could wait, and what might not be with the expense for the age of the car. Its nice to go to a mechanic where you dont feel you are being up sold on everything.

The worst vehicular service ive ever received. I went for an oil change, and got my car back with parking sensors malfunctioning, i returned to have that checked out and have my brakes done, and now my parking sensors are still malfunctioning and my vehicle Stability Control is also off and can bot be turbed on with the push of the button used to control it..... DO NOT GO TO COBRA TIRE & AUTO.

We took my car to this shop after buying a Groupon for an air recharge. My air was blowing hot air and not cold so I hoped they can figure out what was wrong with it. Then they give me a call and say that they have to fix a gasket and repair a hose and the total would be $325. The owner, Steve (Esteban), told us directly that the air was blowing really cold so we paid and left. We stopped at a car wash nearby, only 10 minutes from the shop and I was sweating like crazy. We went back the same day and told them it wasn’t working, we asked for our money back since we paid a lot for something that didn’t even work. Even worse, we were told directly that it was working. The owner did not give us back the money and said he’ll have it ready the next day. We had no choice but to leave it there. We went back the next day to pick it up and noticed it was fine so we left hoping it would stay that way. We also were told that it had warranty so if it wasn’t working we could take it back. Sure enough, not even a week later the air was worse than how we originally took it. We tried to go back and use the warranty but supposedly it wasn’t covered under the warranty. Overall, very unprofessional customer service and they stole $350 and wouldn’t give it back. Stay away!

So far they were kind and professional on the phone. Will update once service is complete.Update 07-01-2020So its two weeks since I got my car serviced here. Had tons of work done here. Oil change. Swap fluids. Check the whole car out. Alignment and tie rods replaced. So far all the worked they completed went well. It ended up being a little more than the groupons I bought advertised but all in all they did a good job. Thanks guys.

No more groupon & probably no more Cobra from here on.

At some point you will have to decide if a box on a form is more important than a lost sale and bad review. I had an appointment for a wheel alignment at the Gilbert location and I gave my phone number and e-mail address. He then asked for a mailing address which for security I typically dont give out to people I am giving keys to. He then asked for my mobile carriers name. When I asked why he needed that and he said the computer needs it to keep me updated on my car. He already had my texting and email information so when I declined he got all upset waving his arms and saying he didnt need to deal with these issues so early in the morning. I said I planned to be waiting in the waiting room and I dont need computerized updating for a minor service. He seemed so upset I didnt feel I would have honest service so I left and forfeited the money for my prepaid groupon

We took our car in for an oil change that we bought from Groupon. At first, we were thinking we may have found a great place to continue to use because the customer service was friendly and they got the oil change done quickly. They also said they could replace a missing screw on my husbands driver side seat for us. They said they would order the screw and call us when it arrived so they could fix the seat. Well, its been several days and we havent heard back from them and now our car is driving funny when we werent having any mechanical problems before taking our car there. It could be a coincidence or it could be that they screwed something up. I dont know but overall, our experience has been disappointing. We were really excited to refer them our family and friends.

I visited Cobra Tire because my front left tire blew out and as I was changing it, one of the lug nuts sheered off. 😳😱 I was pretty discouraged from the start because I was sure that it was gonna be a pricey fix. However, Steve was extremely friendly from the start and he did everything that he could to make sure that I got a broke-college-student-friendly price (which I did!). I brought my car in last night and they were able to have it ready for me this morning. Both Jamal and Steve were professional/amicable which definitely was a plus and the price is unbeatable (trust me, I called around!). Their quality of work is A + and I will undoubtedly be coming back in the future. 👍

Bought a groupon they have tried to make multiple appointments online they say they will give you a call and nothing. I call multiple times and never is an answer. So we will see if I ever even get to have my oil changed here or get a refund at Groupon. They called me back Just now in the middle of writing this after I left a voicemail. I asked for a second so I can check my schedule and (it was actually 3 seconds) I came back and he had put me on hold so I waited... and waited and waited just to see how long it would take 23 mins the first time got fed up called back answered only to say hold on for another 20 I just hung up. I had the phone just hanging on speaker and nothing. Horrible forget save your money save your time. I just ended up going to Greulichs on Alma school. Called and they answered the first time nicely

They were supposed to align our axles but we drove away with their cars swerving Its intensely to the right. There are other places you can go with a with more experienced mechanics and cheaper outcomes. The wait time was above 2 hours in a cramped space with very poor reception on the tv. I would not go here again and I would recommend that you avoid it at all costs.

Communicative, reliable, fast, and honest. These guys will be my mechanics henceforth. They will do amazing work, and are friendly about it as they do it.

So far, very disappointed. We had them fix a valve cover and crankshaft leak in my sons 2013 Cruz which had zero engine codes going in but now has antilock and emissions codes that dont go away like they said they would. Also they didnt install his front bumper skirt correctly and its falling off. When I inspected it they didnt put all the fasteners back on. Shoddy work in my opinion and they damaged his intake while doing the valve cover. Reasons for the new codes. Of course they deny any wrongdoing. Ill be taking it to a new shop to have it fixed again. Beware.

Horrible experience! Paid for an alignment, oil change and tire rotation, was told its a 2 hour process. 3 hours of waiting outside (tiny a** waiting room) with a 2 and 4 year old and get a call saying they couldnt do the alignment, fine then why was i stranded for 3 hours for an oil change?????? All said and done still had to pay for what I couldnt/didnt get plus an additional $21.00 for bs service charges and fees.

Cobra provided excellent service on my wifes car and continued the excellent service from when it was Stamps auto.

We have been long time customers at the Stamps on Lindsay and Warner in Gilbert and within the last few months, service has definitely gone down. I kept coming back regardless, because no business is perfect. We brought our 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid in to get the AC fixed. The hoses needed replaced and some other small items to get the AC up and running. The cost was around $450.00. We had gotten these hoses replaced over 3 years ago and were told they dont usually go bad, but we were outside the warranty time/mileage so nothing could be done as far as lowering the cost. Bummer, but I get it. We brought the car back in again this week because the AC still didnt work. This time, I was informed they brought a Master Technician in to diagnose the problem. The cost is now going to be another $2000.00, with them taking around $275 off because they didnt do their due diligence the first time around. My problem is this. Had they been more thorough last week, I would not have even fixed the hoses because the car isnt worth $2400 in repairs to us. Then, I get a text to write a review....the link just happens to not work. I clicked it immediately to leave a review. Guess they didnt want this posted. Regardless, I will be needing a new place to take my vehicles.

Jake and Josh were very friendly and communicated with me about the repairs needed and worked with warranty company to get as much as possible covered for me. The inspection they did of the car for future repairs was informative and showed pictures of the needed items. At no point did I feel they were overselling me on repairs. I plan on making them my go to car shop. Shop was clean and they were able to finish my car quicker than expected. Excellent service all away around!

I have used Stamps Auto at several of the locations and have always been well taken care of by the staff. Everyone Ive come in contact with at the shops are always friendly and courteous. Ive not be disappointed by any repairs and Ive felt that the price was fair for the work. The Lindsay location and the Queen Creek location are especially top notch facilities that are well maintained in my opinion. Ive been to shops where you wouldnt want to sit down in the small, cramped waiting room because it was filthy. You wont find that at these locations in particular.

I took my truck into Stamps Auto a few weeks ago to get a 4 wheel alignment. First of all, the staff was polite, informative, and quick to answer any questions I had. Second, they had the cheapest price around, and I definitely shopped around. Third, they were quick to get the job done. From the time I came in, to the time I left, I was there for roughly 40 mimutes. I will definitely visit them again before anywhere else, if, and/or the occasion rises.

Got a recommendation to take my car to the Stamps Automotive on Lindsay and Warner because a different shop could not get the lug nuts of my car to rotate the tires. Dwayne told me to bring it and he would work it in. The car was fixed in about 1 1/2 hours went in to pay and was told no charge. That is great service and will seriously look to move my cars to his shop for future service needs.

This is an amazing, awesome, honest mechanic shop! I had a knocking noise in my 2006 Hummer H3 and other mechanic shop said I was going to cost $3000 for timing belt and lifters. But Bill and the guys were able to give me an engine flush and oil change for $70 and the noise is gone ! I cant say enough about these guys! Its hard to find an honest mechanic shop but they forever now have my business!! Thanks bill!!!

Dwayne was so nice and made sure to explain what they did and what they suggest be done on my next visit...and I will be back. Recently our windshield was replaced. Today, when I opened my car door, I noticed that my rear view mirror had called off. Likely due to the cold nights/mornings we have had, I called Stamps on Lindsay Rd. and John helped me fix it within a matter of minutes with and insisted on no charge. I went in for a vehicle inspection and repair on my Volvo after running over a parking lot cinder block (I know, I know). My vehicle was running louder than normal and I was getting a check engine light. Making the appointment was a breeze and the owner, Wes accommodated the time that I was looking for.When I went in Wes saw me right away and made pleasant conversation with me about our shared military past while my car was being looked at. After the inspection he took me in to show me the extent of the damage and explain what could be done. He anticipated that the labor would take about an hour which was more than fine.The repairs were completed much faster than anticipated and he gave me a great deal (no charge). I cannot say how happy I was as its so rare to see actual customer service these days. This was definitely outside of the norm from my typical experience with mechanics.I highly recommend this shop and will be returning for all of my automotive repairs.

The auto dealership I usually use advised I needed a wheel alignment. I took it to Stamps due to a referral from another web site. They got my Prius to a service tech promptly and spent about half an hour doing diagnostics. They showed me the report, which showed I did not need an alignment. Not only did they dramatically overcharge me for parts (Im talking a mark-up of 6X) they werent even able to fix my issue and wanted more money to keep trying... So much for their Warranty. Go literally anywhere else.
