A friend of mine AJ, fromEndless Motorsports, recommended ATD. I am so glad I had them do the transmission work on my plow truck. They also took care of some other issues the truck had. Had them remove, rebuild, and reinstall a TH400 in a C3 corvette last summer. No problems with it since (around two thousand miles) and the minor upgrades to torque converter and other parts are definitely an improvement over stock. Scott was knowledgeable and helpful with selecting the right parts for the car. Cost and time were a little more than estimated, but not by much, in spite of the inconvenience of working on the C3. They damaged a deteriorated (original) oil line while reinstalling the trans and repaired it at no labor cost, even though it caused them considerable time and hassle. Props to them for that, since they were more than justified to charge for it, given the age of the part. The only minor complaint I had was that communication was a little lacking, but they did answer the phone whenever I called. Overall great work, I would highly recommend!

Honest and great work. Was told by another shop I needed a complete new transfer case. Brought it ATD to find out it was the encoder motor. They saved me $1500.

I took my 2000 Chevy Astro Van in for a transmission rebuild, I got back a week later and it shifts amazing, they were honest from beginning to end. My engine light came on shortly after which I knew why, so when I took it back to see what they would say, they gave me the right answer. Great job guys.

This place is like hot rod resort spa. Cleanest shop facilities I’ve seen, with some masterpieces of automotive art scattered around. Knowledgeable and friendly, full service custom shop with abilities to tackle any project (from what I saw). Got custom torque converter for bracket racer built in less than week, and going to have them go thru the trans while out, since they can provide an astonishing single day turn time. Amazing!

It was my first time to this specialty transmission repair shop. I had arranged with them to drop off my vehicle the night before, I did so. The entire day I never was contacted by Auto Trans. I called at close to find out they never looked at my vehicle. So I left my vehicle with them another day, with no apology given. The next day by late morning Scott called me to tell me the diagnosis. I had asked them to also check a minor exhaust rattle I had. Scott just told me to take it to another garage. I thought for the inconvenience they could have possibly did the quick repair. I probably will not recommend their service to anyone.Thank you for the reply. So when I actually brought my vehicle to Auto Trans was at the end of October. I think there was a little confusion with my vehicle and a different vehicle the day Scott meant to look at my transmission. I think Scott was having a busy day. Someone should have gave me a call just to update me. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. I often give businesses 2 or 3 tries before I stop going there. Review posts are just telling your experience and a reply trying to set a customer straight isnt the friendliest way to go about handling things. Merry Christmas!

Best dang transmission shop in the US. They have built a never failing trans for my towing and my plow trucks, which is absolutely stunning and has saved me probably 25,000 bucks over the last several years.

My cars transmission failed a few weeks ago and I had it towed here to get looked at and serviced. I was told initially it could be up to $3,000 to get fixed which didnt come as a surprise seeing as we werent sure what the issue was yet. After the tests they did they discovered it wasnt a worst-case-scenario issue so it saved me some money that way, and at the same time they found one of my upper control arms had snapped recently and since they had to remove it to get to the transmission to begin with, they replaced it for me at no labor charge. They also told me they improved upon a few things within the trans which was nice. Since having my car back, it drives fantastic. I havent had any issues with the transmission at all, it always shifts really smooth and it feels like it coasts a lot easier now. My gas mileage has improved as well. I would highly recommend taking your car here if you need transmission work done. The only little gripe I have is that it took 2 weeks to complete, but that is understandable considering the transmission needed a complete rebuild.

Had multiple Transmissions done on vehicles including a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel, that I do a lot of heavy towing, they did an excellent job. Also had some other steering work done on the Dodge which had an unexpected problem called Charlie about it he had a tow truck sent out and they fixed it with no problem ASAP so I could go on my trip. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone including people that need high performance work done on gas and diesel Transmissions. They also do any kind of work you need.

I had ATD rebuild the rear end in my 1995 caprice classic. Had them do a complete high performance overhaul. Reasonable pricing, good job done on the gears. (no whining) the 3.73 gears really woke the car up. Am coming back again for a shift kit and torque converter install. These guys know what theyre doing. Dont gamble with your money. Do it once, and do it Right!

I had ATD rebuild my th400 transmission for street/strip and they custom built a torque converter for me as well. They did an awesome job. Super satisfied with the work they did. Only reason I give 4 stars is because nobody contacted me to let me know it was finished. Ill still definitely work with them in the future...Thanks guys

Great shop,great people, great price. I met Charlie in 1986when he was the service manager of a milwaukee repair shop .He hired my as a mechanic and we went our separate ways I could always call him for advice on my matters. Fast forward to 2018.I had an issue with my classic Cadillac. Charlie greeted my as old friend and him and his crew did a great job of rebuilding My transmission at an excellent price with a great warranty. Charlie is a man of integrity and one of the smarter mechanics I have ever met thanks to you and your team CTG.

I brought my car in for an inspection to identify what I suspected was a problem with the transmission. My car was only in for a day or two, and I was told they would get back to me with a diagnosis and repair. I waited a few days, called back a few times and emailed. I got one response after 3 weeks of calling and emailing... and was told they would call back. Needless to say, it didnt happen...Im not sure if I would have liked their service or not, since I was never contacted by the person who inspected my car. I dont like to leave negative reviews, but I felt my experience was negative enough to compel me.//Update// Im bumping up one star because they did reach out to me to fix the problem. Ive moved on, but I was really hoping for better communication throughout.

These guys are your best bet, I own a Limousine Service and Transmissions and rear ends need to be well taken care of. My mechanic for over 30 years always said these people were the best at what they do, and now that my Mechanic has lost his battle with cancer I fully have to rely on folks like this for an honest repair. I am hoping to hear from these guys soon regarding my latest aquisition that I picked up in Las Vegas. I am Praying they button up my Stretch ASAP so I can get her out on the road and start making some money to cover this bill. I was driving through the area and my alternator failed on me. After calling multiple auto shops and dealerships that were booked solid until January, ATD got me in right away and did a phenomenal job repairing my car. This allowed me to continue my travels to see my 100 year old grandma!! Shout out to Charlie!
