What a phenomenal shop. Everyone is so polite and willing to help you. She has a lot of local (to Texas) indie yarns. She carries Noti yarns which are not found at other stores. Overall the atmosphere is so wonderful. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

I don’t make it here often, but I love the shop. Susan has a great selection of yarns; the Sami yarns by Amano were my latest purchases. (This yarn is wonderful! So incredibly soft and crochets up nicely and you won’t go break getting a few skeins.) You will find good prices on beautiful yarns and tools and accessories, whether you’re into crochet or knitting.

I’ve been shopping at this store for two years now. The owner is super friendly and helpful when looking for yarn or a project to do. She has a collection of yarns, many of which you don’t see in other stores. I always feel welcome when I come in. Highly recommend!

The shop just recently moved a few doors down to a larger space and has really increased their inventory of quality yarns--theres something for everyone and every project! LOVE the selection of Texas-based dyers; very unique. Very friendly staff. And now theyve added couches where you can come and hang out to take a break and just sit-n-knit.

Love this shop. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. So many beautiful hand dyed yarns. They were very helpful over the phone in finding some yarn to complete my sweater. Wish they werent so far, would love to go knit and hang out.

Oh my goodness! So pretty! Not grammas knitting place! She has amazing colors and yarn selections. Its very modern and Susan is so knowledgeable and friendly. I love that they have Wed knitting night too. So excited to have this in Georgetown!

I drove 40 minutes to get to this yarn shop, as there isnt one closer. It was my first yarn shop and I was so so excited! However, no sooner was I in the door when someone that I assume was the owner walked over and started loudly telling my children Now be sure to hold your moms hand! This is a yarn store! My kids are so well behaved, but this lady didnt even give us a minute to see if she needed to micromanage my children. One could argue that that is never her job, but I do understand if they were damaging product. There were several knitted stuffed animals on the floor, which she pulled out of my sons hands. She followed us around the store, watching my kids and telling them not to touch anything. My kids that are so gentle and well behaved. I was looking forward to savoring the yarn and letting the kids pet the skeins to feel the different textures. All we have around us are the big box stores that only sell acrylic and wool. Needless to say, we stayed about 5 minutes and then left without buying anything. I was so disappointed. I went home and ordered yarn off knitpicks, because at least they arent rude.

The owner was super help and explained to me about the uses of different types of yarn. She helped me pick out a great birthday gift for my mom. Ill definitely be going back for my next knitting gift.
