Really loved this store until my experience today. I walked in and was greeted as usual by the staff. I was asked if I needed help finding anything and I politely said no. I guess my answer did not suffice as what appeared to be a floor manager followed me around the store closely watching me. She asked me a second time if I needed help finding anything to which I again replied, “No ma’am.” I’m not sure if she thought I was stealing, but it was unnerving to be the only customer in the store watched so closely. I finished up grabbing the things I needed and a few extras and headed to the check out. My debit card chip does not work and I let the cashier know this. Normally after 3 tries you can swipe a card. Another cashier rudely informed me that’s not possible, “try the chip again and if it doesn’t work you’ll have to pay with another card.” Bless the poor cashier who started this transaction because she offered to key in my car and was promptly told no. I don’t know if the second cashier’s assumption was I could not afford the merchandise, but I pulled out my credit card and paid. Honestly, my experience today has soured my loyalty to Ulta. I’ll go somewhere with better customer service that does not treat you like a thief.

I got a haircut here and the experience made me overall sad. I came in with a picture of a short pixie but was told it was not possible. Then, I showed a picture of a bob I liked instead. Hairdresser proceeded to give me a pixie anyway, and not the bob from the picture. Also not the type of pixie from the first picture. I was made to stand for 30 minutes during the haircut, a first for me. I was not asked any questions during to see if I was okay with it and in the end the cape was about to be taken off without asking if I was good with how it turned out. Next part is more of the store’s fault. I asked for a family member to get a color consult and they booked it with the same hairdresser who 1. had no idea she was booked for a color consult and 2. proclaimed she had never used the hair coloring product and did not know anything about it. She asked another person there who told us it was not possible to change from black to blue. Something that I could’ve easily been told over the phone and avoided letting down a kid.

If you have ethnic or curly hair DO NOT GO HERE. At one point in time they had a stylist who could do curly hair, not overwhelmingly well but satisfactorily, and she left. When she left all appointments she had were cancelled without informing the clients. When we came for that appointment we were treated as if we had spit on all of the other stylists by requesting someone who was proficient with curly hair. Not only did they not want to do curly hair but they left us for 30 minutes looking for someone who could do that hair. Terrible experience.

Tiffany is my stylist. Ive lived all over the country and Tiffany is exceptional; she does my hair color, low lights and hair extensions. She is a true professional and I highly recommend her.

Today I got a cut and style from Shelby. She is a magician!!! I had an idea of what I wanted and she made suggestions based on my hair type. The cut itself was so relaxing and it was nice seeing her double check her work throughout the process. My hair turned out beyond amazing and I felt like a million bucks. I will definitely be coming back to her and recommend her 😍

So I just left and wanted to write a quick review. I was helped by a guy named colten and he was the best. He knew where everything was and helped me pick items I needed based on his knowledge( which he knew everything). It was great, so go in there and ask to speak to him if you have any questions or need direction!!

I only trust Morgenne with my eyebrown wax and tinting needs. She is the best and a joy to be around. I appreciate the attention to detail she puts into her work as well as her concern with my satisfaction with the results. My boyfriend said my brows looked exquisite!! Thank you Morgenne!!

I cannot believe these people. The Governor of our great state opens everything and they are still not opening the store.The staff member gave a very flimsy untruthful excuse of having a water leak. The store is huge so unless they have a mains water burst they could have sectioned off any damaged area.My wife spends over $300 a month there, well she used to. Taking our business to Sephora who are open as normal.If you read their reply below it states they follow CDC, (who have totally miss-managed this pandemic, state and local governments.NEWS FLASH Ultra Beauty The Governor of the Great State of Texas has opened us up for business as usual.What you are doing is prolonging your low staffing costs that this pandemic has gifted you at the expense of your foot traffic. If you dont want to open your store for normal foot customers CLOSE IT!

Hair services and products are great! Got the hair trimmed. Really like the style. Shelby and all the staff are knowledgeable and caring. Wearing masks and social distance were happening. Highly recommended!

I got my appointment canceled two times by the same stylist and I saw Shelby’s name and I booked an appointment with her. She was so nice and did a wonderful job my hair feels and looks amazing. I’m glad I didn’t book with the other stylist

I go to Ulta pretty often. Usually the Round Rock or Cedar Park location. Have not been impressed with customer service at these locations. However, the staff at Georgetown were amazing. They were very helpful and patient with me. Colton did an excellent job color matching my foundation, and answering questions. Thanks to all the staff at Georgetown. You’re awesome! 😘

I have nothing but good things to say....Ive been to this Ulta about 10 times already staff is always nice they know what they are doing they help you find anything that you might need and best part they are not pushy at all. My favorite person is LISA Omg!! I love her she is so nice and so helpful every single time I go there she is the one that helps me and shes always happy to help she can give me so many tips whether is make up or skin routines I just love how friendly and how knowledgeable she is on what she does. 🖤

The employees there are very happy and enthusiastic. There are more products than Sephora (the shop near here), they help my mom find the right product for her skin. It was a long time, she is not happy with her skin but after she went here, she loves all products that your employee give her 😂. The employees are very concerned about their customers, and they used Google Translate to translate it into Vietnamese so that my mother could understand it clearly. Well, my mother told me that she will be your customer forever ❤.

So I took my daughter to get a haircut with Meghan....UGH!! It must have been her first day out of beauty school. The cut came out horrible and took 1 1/2 hours. I showed her a picture of what my kid wanted, short bob with layers. I made sure to mention that my daughters hair is naturally curly so her hair must be layered so it doesn’t end up looking like a triangle. Since she straightened her hair it was not noticeable. After a couple of weeks of hating her hair, (I didn’t want to insult or hurt her feelings) I asked my kid if she liked it and she said no. She said the same thing I was thinking all along, that it’s too heavy on the bottom, not enough layers. So I thought, okay I’ll call Ulta and see if they can add another layer, no big deal right, 10 minutes tops. I would even bring my kid in with freshly washed hair. Called and was told I had to speak with a manager. Spoke with a manger (Ash) and she told me I have 1 week to call for any corrections. Well that’s news to me?!?! I myself have gone there several times and taken my daughter several times and NOBODY has ever mentioned this policy. Had I know I would have certainly called sooner. I even explained to Ash that my daughter has Autism and cannot express herself well enough to have told Meghan at the time of the cut what her feelings were on the outcome. Ash couldn’t have cared any less and kept reciting policy to me. I said I understood but couldn’t she make this one exception?? Ummm, NO she cannot cause she can’t break company policy. What a load of manure!! Of course you can Ash, if you had any interest in keeping a client. Why do you think companies send millions of dollars in advertising!?!? To keep and retain customers...DUH BYE Ulta Hello Sephora!
