Always find something every time I come in here. Really like the updating but its still weird that the front doors are blocked. Better furniture section for sure!

Says it opens at 9:00 am. Arrived at almost 9:30 and it’s closed.

A nice selection of many many things at the store. They have some good prices but the problem is that many of the items are not marked with price or a barcode so you have no idea what the actual price is. Plus, there are no price scanners so you have to find an employee to help you figure out what the price is. This is extremely irritating! Store is reasonably well laid out and the rest rooms are nice and clean. In-store help is limited and this is really something they need to fix. Also note that internet access in the store is next to impossible to receive.

The best big lots I have ever been too. The staff members here are amazing. The atmosphere is above par. I live near another big lots however I prefer to go her because of the experience.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone in the garland area

I really enjoy the inexpensive furniture for our kids. We have bought multiple desks and a storage unit from this store and the staff has been polite and helpful.

This big lots location is much larger than most. The store is well organized and has a lot of product. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We purchased a product from the store and when we got home and opened it there was some damage. Marcia, the manager, was super helpful and took care of the exchange in a quick and professional manner. She has a great attitude and runs a top notch store. There is a LOT of furniture to choose from at this location. The guy that works in the furniture dept is very helpful and nice as well. Cant go wrong at this store, I will be back.

I called this location on Thursday, 5/7/20, asked if the Broyhill Eagle Brooke Soft Top Gazebo, SKU 810452404, was in stock. The manager stated they had 1. I asked him to place it on hold. He stated they dont hold items in store, but I could purchase it online. I told him I was in the military and wanted the military discount and I needed to purchase it in store in order to get that discount. He stated I needed to hurry then because it is first come first serve. I arrived about two hours later after I got out of training and made contact with the clerk at furniture. I told him I was here to purchase SKU 810452404. He stated that he still had it, but he placed it on hold for another person he spoke with on the phone. I said the manager stated no holds. He stated he was aware of my call, but he promised it to another customer. He stated I could wait and if they dont come then I could have it. I waited an hour and the person came and bought the item. This really makes me mad!! I asked for a hold and did not get it! This store does not take care of people in the military, at lease they did not take care of me!!

I love Big Lot! stores because of what they have. This place was no different. The merchandise was great and so were the prices. Its clean and there are a lot of stuff to choose from!

Love Big Lots but this place is dangerous because there are too many deals to pass up! I end up coming home with stuff that I wanted but didnt know I wanted. This location is clean and well organized and with lots of parking space.

Always enjoy this eclectic little store. So many things to grab at Christmastime for stockings and other small gifts... Plus wrapping paper and tape and everything you want.

Big lots has so much to offer including furniture. Just have to watch the prices on some stuff because theyre proud of it and you can get cheaper.

The good ole days when you could go to Big Lots and find real closeouts and cheap deals. Now its just another over priced chain corporate store who worry about how white their floors are. I only go here maybe twice a year now and yesterday I bought only 3 things.

Big Lots is great. They carry items you cant find elsewhere. Candle prices are really good.

They remodeled and added a lot of expensive throw away furniture, takes a lot of floor space, so the selection of the regular items I go there to buy is much smaller and the prices have gone up significantly. The soda I used to buy there for $3.75 is now $5.75 so I wont be buying it there anymore, it is $3.99 at Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Spend some time in the food area you will find some good deals.

As far as big lots goes this is the nicest one I have been too. The workers were friendly and they have a much bigger furniture section than I was expecting.

I go here often to get quick things here and there for a decent price, but I got my couch there recently and I love it. It was definitely an impulse buy, but I dont regret it at all, fits our new place perfectly.

My furniture buying experience with Big Lots Garland has been VERY frustrating, annoying, exasperating to say the least! Ordered a loveseat, a couch and a dining set. Associate said that it will take 1 to 3 weeks for the orders to arrive. Three weeks later, called them on a Friday to check if my items were ready to pick up. They confirmed that the loveseat and couch are ready. Saturday, on my way to pick up my furniture, they called me and said they made a mistake, that the couch and loveseat werent for me! No proper reason given, they just said that the items werent for me! I had to transfer my order to the Rowlett branch. Now 5 freaking weeks later, my dining set is still unavailable. NEVER buying there again!

Id give it five stores but the single cashier was stretched out between at least seven customers and nobody answered her calls for backup. She was awesome, but the rest of the staff was nowhere to be found.

This is near to the firwheel town center and houses everything from furniture to daily household stuff to specific needs. It has toys for kids. Specialty noodles and sauces. If you want something for your house youll definetely find it here.

I was told they had something I was looking for in stock . The computer said they had 7 I drove over 40 miles to the store and then was told the computer was wrong and I should have called before coming. The manager was no help at all seemed brother when we asked her .
