Went in and thought i had a blown speaker from a static noise that is pretty popular on 2017 Honda accords. Tony helped me narrow down the cause of the incident. (Change speakers/change stereo). I did a lot of searching around DFW to find a shop that I feelt confident in doing a custom audio job (full speaker upgrade, sound dampening, subwoofer install, amp and audio processor), on my Jaguar F-type SVR.This review is long but will give you all the confidence you need to get your next audio job done at Texas audio.The owner and operator Junior, meet with me, listened to what I wanted to do and my plan. Junior spent a lot of time with me even before I had decided to do this job with them. He didnt start quoting me prices right off the bat or try to upsell a me on equipment, nor did he dismiss my selections and ideas, but instead made suggestions when he felt like it would benefit the project and still took my direction when and if I insisted on a certain path. I was very detailed, but he and his team never seemed annoyed and always showed me how appreciative they were of my involvement. Id say one of the best traits of the business was communication. Junior always answered my texts, emails, calls ASAP and always kept me appraised of the progress, changes, concerns, etc. The quote/cost was fair based on the skill level required to do the job and the equipment was priced at market value. There was also no major surprises on pricing throughout (like a lot of places do, no bait-and-switch here). The final result exceeded my expectations. Photos attached to this review dont do it justice (I mean its audio equipment that mostly isnt seen anyway). The craftsmanship was on point, they treated my car with pride and respect at all times (no oily fingerprints all over your dash like when you leave the car at the dealership). If you think you can do this type of work at home I assure you, dont. Texas Audios team are heavily experienced in all sorts of audio brands, custom work and will handle things like; audio time alignment, DSP programing and tweaking, sound dampening, etc. they also did a phenomenal job on cable management and also using premium components like cabling, fuses, power connectors, etc needed to properly run this type of equipment. Their connections with suppliers is also key to ensure you get the best options and also coaching from those suppliers in how to make their equipment perform its best.Texas audio can do your Honda, and it can certainly do your luxury sports car too. We went there in the morning and they took time to talk us through options, and the car was ready 3 hours lady. Great customer service. I would 100% recommend. We got a head unit, auto start and a back up camera. They went above and beyond and installed our camera behind the spare wheel(more expensive option) and we chose the cheaper by the bumper. This was a birthday present for my wife and they helped more than I could of asked for. I’ll be back for sure.

I emailed Texas Audio asking for a quote on installing some equipment I had. I received a reply within an hour quoting a fair price. I contacted them about making an appointment. They fit me in the next day and got the HU, 4 ch amp, powered sub, camera and 4 speakers installed in a day. The quality of the installation was great, very neat and careful workmanship.After meeting Junior and seeing his spotless storefront I would have gone to Texas Audio for the equipment too. Junior is a straight shooter, no BS sales stuff. All around a great experience.

So I came to them 24 hours ago because I was having a buzzing issue on my radio. Not an install customer yet BUT, I called Jr. this morning to get a few questions answered. I based my choice to Texas Audio based on these google reviews and they did not disappoint! Junior was thorough and looked for the right application and did not try to up sale me at all. My issue was getting better tunes in my fish boat. His understanding of my needs was prevalent from the start. Bravo! I will use again if I need some more equipment for sure. Junior and Tony helped me out a ton! After chopping the roof and back half off of my FJ cruiser and putting in a roll cage I had lost 7 of the 9 speakers. They came up with a great solution to add more and upgraded the remaining two and head unit. I was very pleased with their work.

Got a full install done, stereo, subs, amp, door speakers. Price matched what was quoted and service was efficient. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Install was very neat (as was the building), no equipment or wires visible, which is an impressive feat in my small truck. They showed us a lot of different options and never tried to get us to spend more than what we could afford (the last place we went tried to oversell us).After all the advice they gave us, we we’re certain that we got the best solution we can afford.After the installation (same day btw) we sat in the car and something didn’t sound quite right. We told the guy who was helping us and he cane out and listened...he immediately said “I should have caught that” and time the car back into the garage and fixed the problem which had to do with the factory parts and set up.Now it sounds amazing!Additionally it’s Covid-19 season and the showroom was very safe, clean, social distancing was in effect. In fact the staff was regularly cleaning surfaces.I gave this place 5 stars because the customer experience was solid across the board from sales, service, safety, and conflict resolution.Definitely recommend this place!

The service here was unlike any other stereo shop I have ever seen. these guys want to appreciate all the questions you have weather they are detailed or not. I was a bit surprised when I saw the show room filled with customers and they still got me scheduled in to get my amp and stereo installed. I came in to get a rear view camera installed on my car with a monitor on my dashboard displaying the back up camera feed. Everything works smoothly and the staff was friendly when I went, they even let me borrow a charger to charge my phone while waiting.

The quality of products, install, knowledge, and customer service when dealing with Junior and his team at Texas Audio is top notch. I wanted my install to be done correctly ... the first time. I did my research online and new exactly what i wanted to have installed. In the past, I have had installs performed at other places and have done some installs myself ; i would like to think i have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to car audio . I researched and received quotes from several businesses. After reading the reviews i decided to drive 2.5 hours each way. While i was there waiting another customer came in who honestly had no knowledge of car audio. An associate spent probably an hour with her figuring out what her needs/wants were and educating her on the options. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation ( like most competitors would have done ) and upsold/ over charged her but he didnt ; that in itself let me know the type of people i was dealing with. I have waited a few weeks to write the review just to be sure i could give a quality review. So far, i am more than happy with results and have had no issues with my system , the performance has surpassed my expectations. Save yourself the hassle and get it done correctly the first time for a very reasonable price.

With new car technology, I no longer trust that I will get it 100% right without blowing something up. That’s where Texas Audio comes in. Cant recommend Texas Audio enough! I went in last year and they installed a subwoofer in my 2016 IS200t. They were so helpful talking me through the process and helping me choose the perfect one. It sounds amazing and I couldnt be happier. I was so impressed with their work that I went back to have apple carplay installed in my car. I didnt even know that was a possibility for my car, but they made it happen. When the first device didnt run as smoothly as expected they returned the device and ordered a new one from a different company. There were a couple of bugs that needed to be fixed so I brought it in and each time they worked hard to figure out and fix the issues. We finally found out that the usb connection was interfering with the wireless connection and after switching my powercord to the cigarette lighter adapter the carplay device has been working really well. Every now and then I will have trouble connecting, but I can fix the issue in a matter of seconds. I have been in cars that had factory carplay installed and mine works just as well as those. I had to go in to their shop several times and each time they had to take my entire dashboard apart to get to the device. Im sure they were so annoyed to see me walk through the door each time, lol but you would never have guessed it. They were so friendly and helpful each and every time I went in. Im glad they were persistent and patient, because I loved everything in my car the only thing it was missing was that carplay. I even considered buying a new car so I could have that feature, but this turned out to be a much more cost effective solution.

Junior and his staff helped me put some high quality sound in my Infiniti this afternoon and I couldn’t be happier. He patiently answered my questions about the different options available for what I was trying to do and gave me a fair price for the sub, box, amplifier and installation. I had to wait a bit for the installation because the shop was busy, but it was well worth the wait. Purchased a lightly used 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn/Lone Star with the 8 1/2 Inch stock Radio/SX/XM with Apple Car Play. Disappointing audio experience so I went to Texas Audio and saw Junior. He fixed me up with a JL System, replaced the 6X9s in all four doors, added JL Tweeters to each side of the Dash, JL amplified sub woofer, 4 channel 400 watt amp and 6 channel processor. Installation sooo clean!! AWESOME Sound! Family business over 40 years, one of the best experiences shopping for and getting what I wanted ... ever.

I recently purchased an aftermarket stereo head unit for a latemodel luxury European vehicle that I wanted to get installed. I called around to several audio installer shops to see if they could install the unit and get quote. Jr and the crew did amazing! Exceptional customer service and service. Nice ambiance, seating, cable TV. My vehicle is hitting so hard and clean! I normally dont write reviews but had to break ritual. Everything you read that is positive is true. Jr actually threw in a few surprises for as well. I couldnt imagine a better experience, I suggest going early so they can take there time. But you definitely get what you pay for, Ask for Jr!

Junior and the staff at Texas Audio Car Stereo & Security are not only good at installing top-of-the-line technology in an automobile, they simply do business the right way. I brought them a difficult problem with my BMW Z4, and despite the research we all did (myself included), the recommended methods didn’t work. The published information was simply wrong. Junior and his staff worked unbelievably hard to find me a solution that would meet my needs and my standards. They accomplished that, and they saved me $200 in the process. They kept me informed the entire time about what was happening with my car. Trust you’re car to these gentlemen, and you’ll leave satisfied with both the work and how you were treated. They’re awesome.

Visited this afternoon.... waited at least 10 to 15 minutes never could get waited on so I left. I was the only person there, the associate was on the phone the entire time. To me a person who comes in to speak and ask for help should be just as important as the caller. Try hiring some help!!!I went elsewhere and got waited on as soon as I walked in. My questions were answered and the work was done on my car in less than 30 minutes. Now that is customer service!!

Went in for several little corrections that needed to be made on my car phone system as well as long-standing Bluetooth issues with my music.Junior immediately went out to my car and with expert insight and skill set, he corrected these problems very quickly. I have an interest in adding another technology to my car function.
