Spencer McCoy was awesome to deal with all the way and the rest of the crew that helped me out today, they were honest and friendly and got it done as fast as possible even though I was a walk in with no appointment and they had a lot to do, waited a few hours but it was worth the wait! Let me know I had a nail in my tire since it was under a road hazard warranty I didn’t pay much to get it replaced 😁 will definitely be back for my further repairs!

Last May I had 4 new tires put on my Dodge Ram 1500...May of 2020I bought the alignment warranty and today went in for a alignment check and tire rotation...3/13/21Arrived 2 pm. ...left 5:30 pm.They broke a stud on my right rear tire. ...extra hour wait to fix..Next when they gave me my truck back ...I heard a scrubbing noise while in the drive up at Jacks hamburger place and had to go back to FIRESTONE.30 minutes later Im told a clip was rubbing....This was on the tire that they broke the stud on so Im guessing they put it back together ...not quite right.What puzzles me is why the mechanic who did the work did not spin the tire to test his work before releasing the vehicle.A scrubbing clip should have been obvious!I keep wanting to have faith in this place but everytime I go there some issue happens.Was going to purchase a lifetime alignment warranty but Im having second thoughts about the mechanics.My policy/ 1 year alignment deal expired 5/31/21...I still have lifetime tire rotation and will most likely use that.With all the misery this place has put me through you would think they would give me a new alignment deal free but I will not hold my breath.

Amazing staff here. So helpful. We were traveling cross country and staff was very busy but stopped to help us out referring us to another shop in town who could service us faster.

Had a blow out on the camper and needed to replace the spare. Pulled into this location. While they were super busy, the replaced the space very quickly so we could get on the road again. Highly recommend.

Approximately a month and half ago...I made an appointment two days prior for 11AM for new tires. I arrived on time and said Id be waiting. The same time estimation was given to me when I asked when making the appointment and when I arrived on site. Due to mask restrictions and limited seating, I decided to be leave the location and return near the estimated time of completion. Upon returning, my car was still outside the garage. More times passes and my estimated time of completion is only 15 minutes away, I went to look for my car. It was still outside. Then, an employee came over to me and said I didnt need to do that because theyd tell me when it was finished. *I reserve the right to know where my car is at all times.* Finally, 5 minutes later my car finally made it inside the shop where I waited much past the estimated time of completion. All of work seemed to have be done correctly, but I didnt enjoy being scolded for wondering where my property was, especially when I made an appointment. Sometimes things dont go as planned. Best to us all in the ability to better our businesses and maintain high standards. After sharing my poor experience and unhappiness with it, I was offered a coupon which I declined.

Dont waste your time calling this place because they dont employ enough people which means youll be waiting several days maybe a week just to get an appointment. Ridiculous.

I went in last Monday morning to get 4 new tires, balance and rotate, oil change, front end alignment, etc. Left my car for about 3-4 hours. Came to pick it up and was in and out of there in under 10 minutes and paid $525.00 for EVERYTHING!! You cant beat the price or the quality of their service anywhere else Ive found around this area!! Thanks to you guys at the Gardendale Firestone!!

Firestone is just about the only place I go for new tires, except one other little local shop who is a friend. I have a Firestone credit card, and travel A Lot for work, so I know if I need anything while on the road, there is always one near by. The guys in the office at my local firestone always treat people like a friend. They dont just sell tires and brakes, for free they will give you relatable conversation. They listen to what you want, and make sure you get what you need that is as close as possible to what you want. Give Spencer or Jason a call, I promise you wont be disappointed with the level of service. If there is a problem you notice or even Think you notice, give them a call or stop by.

Spencer and Brian went above and beyond. We broke down on the way through town and arrived at Firestone only a few hours before they closed. Not only did they drive to the Auto Zone to buy the part we needed, they stayed late to get our vehicle fixed and back out on the road so we didn’t have to chose between getting a rental car and driving 3 hours home or staying over night in a hotel. We’re so grateful!

Charged 110.00 to mount and balance 4 tires. Services were added that were not discussed and not authorized. I never thought I would say this but goto Walmart

I had an appointment at 3pm for a simple vehicle inspection. I arrive at 2:45 pm. Wait. Wait. Wait. And wait some more! At 3:45 pm I go up to the counter and inquire about my vehicle and was told it is next. Wait some more! I get up and walk outside see my vehicle still sitting in the same spot. I walk around the corner to where I can see into the bay where the guys are “working” and see all 5 guys standing in a circle chatting and having a good ole time. They continue talking until one of them notices me and they all scurry back to work! By this time I am obviously furious so I go inside to the counter and wait for someone to come help me. I ask for my keys and tell the manager what I witnessed all he says was they are backed up! I’ll never be back to Firestone in Gardendale. I called Pep Boys down the street, drove over and was out of there in 10 minutes!

I took My Truck in to have the oil Changed, Tires rotated and balanced, and front end alignment, also a tire fixed for a slow leak.Im not sure if my oil was changed but they did leave the bolts in my skid plate loose & 1 stripped out. the tire did get fixed but they did not do a rotation and balance, I marked my tires before taking it to Firestone there for I new they didnt do the work. the tech said he did the rotate and balance but when the sales person told him to bring the truck back in he did rotate and balance them. so the tech lied to me and his boss.I would not recommend taking my vehicle to Firestone in Gardendale.my appointment was at 9 am I dropped the truck off at 8am picked it up at 4:15 had to wait an hour to get my service done

I called on a Friday morning to see about getting a brake job. They said to bring it in for an inspection, but they gave me a rough estimate over the phone to let me know what to expect. (It was in line with what an average brake job is supposed to cost.) After I brought it in, it took them about 15 minutes to tell me what work needed to be done. It was almost $60 below the rough estimate. Also, I was able to use an online coupon. (They always have deals going.) They said it would take about an hour and 45 minutes. It was ready in one hour. Even with them needing to replace a belt, it was still about $60 under the estimate...The staff was fast and friendly. John and Christa took care of me, and I highly recommend them... Plenty of places in walking distance to eat, shop, etc. if you need to wait...They inspected everything so I would know what I might want to take care of further down the road, but they emphasized what needed to be fixed today. This is auto repair work, at a reasonable price, that you can trust.

First I would give the store 4 stars and the store manager 2 stars. I’ve been buying tires there before it was firestone. These are hard times having to do a hard job wearing a mask,That might that explain it. IF I ever go back I’ll be sure not to interact with him.

I dont trust them anymore. They were researching an electrical issue and I continue to find loose wires under the dash. If you unplug something and it doesnt change anything, simply plug it back in. But theyve got the whole thing torn asunder and I dont trust them to be able to put it back together. No telling what it will cost to get it restored.

I had a outstanding experience with these guys today. My AC went out in my car and they were able to get fixed quickly and at a great price. John and the team there are super friendly ( I see John out at my place to work and he is always smiling. Not sure he knew I recognized him) and I recommend them to anyone.

I had my AC go out in 2018, took it to Firestone in Gardendale to be repaired. $1800.00. I have been back four times, each time “something failed”. I had to leave my car overnight and this last time three days. Each time I got my car back there was grease all over the driver side of my car. Inside and out. They also did not secure the access panel underneath my car. I was driving down the interstate and it came down and came apart while traveling down the road. Very poor service and lip service.

I have used Firestone Complete Auto Care for about six years. I have found the service to be complete and caring. I have had no reason to give negative feedback.

We were traveling from Michigan and blew the whole tire and rim off our 5th. They let us stay overnight in their parking lot even though they couldnt get us the tire. The next morning we went and purchased the wheel and they were so kind to help my husband put it on so we could continue our travels, all the men there were so kind and helpful and we cant thank them enough.

I decided to use this place since we have an account there for some reason. My very first time was on Saturday September 7 for an oil change & tire rotation. The service was quick but thats where it ends. I was not aware they did not complete the work until that Monday when I went to get on the interstate. I called and spoke with someone about it, he played it off like it was nothing. Needless to say I did not trust them to fix the issue so I took it to the place that I normally use & they brought me in the back while they were loading my car on the rack. They did not balance my tires at all, there were NO WEIGHTS or anything on them. The tires were balanced before I brought it to them. Needless to say I had to go back into Expert today to discuss the issue. It was not until I told the Manager that I was going to contact their corporate office & dispute the credit card charges that he would even talk about the issue with me. I finally received a credit for the money that I spent at the other location. They also lied to me about needing new wipers.

Outstanding service until recent visit. Location must must be under new management or perhaps they have hired new technicians. Either way, I am frustrated and disappointed. I purchased a 1988 Honda CRX SI 🤭🤫.... It hadn’t been driven in some years and it needed some attention so I took it here. They took care of my and let it stay inside while it was there. They did a great job... the whole 9 and the car is good now.

I have been using the Gardendale Firestone for all of my vehicles for about 20 years and I have always had great service. They always give me the best pricing compared to other repair shops and always have the work done in a respectable amount of time.

VERY BAD COMPANY! Do not go there. I use to go there years ago and was pleased with them. They are not the company they use to be. My son is a full time college student. He is on a limited budget. He needed rear tires for his car. He bought the car close to 6 months ago. After he bought the car He had the breaks and break sensor replaced by a ASE master technician. He had the normal maintenance done you typically do when you buy a used car. When my son needed tires for his car I sent him to the Firestone in Gardendale. My son has a BMW and his car doesnt have studs it has bolts that hold the tire on. Some how they messed up the sensor that was replaced when my son first bought the car. His tire also leaked air from the bead very badly. The sensor that notifies the car that you need break pads was the one that was affected. This sensor didnt come off on its own. If it did it would of been dangling behind the wheel. This sensor was shoved up into the A frame. I called and and complained about what happened and was told they were to busy to fix the car that day. I sent my son another day and they were to busy to fix their mistake again. The third day to try to get the car fixed is today. The car was dropped off at 8:30 this morning. Over 7 hours later they still have the car. This is ridiculous. They better not try to get any money from my son. This was their mistake. The tire has already been driven multiple times with low pressure. This is bad for the tire my son paid for not to mention we have paid the air machines countless quarters so my son wouldnt have a flat tire. I am incredibly disappointed in this company and I will not use them again!

Ive used them for about 5 years and never had a problem. They do up sell as most companies do. If you dont want it, tell them no thanks. Their prices are about the same youll find anywhere else. If you wont cheap, go somewhere else. You get what you pay for.

This place is very slow and very overpriced for what they are doing. Also I took my truck there to get an alignment and it took them 3 tries to get it close to being right, which was the best they could do.

Went for alignment they left all kinds of stuff lose sound like front front end coming apart carried to exspress oil and they told me all kinds of bolts were lose costed me 401 dollars to fix.

We were travelling through the state and our air conditioning stopped working on a very hot day. It was a Saturday afternoon and we wondered if there would be anywhere to get it taken care of. We were told about this Firestone and they took care of us. We just dropped off the van and walked somewhere nearby to eat something. By time we got back it was done and we were ready to continue on our vacation with a nice cool van. They really were a lifesaver for us that day.

We bring all if our vehicles here. Very honest and take care of repairs and maintenance in a timely manner. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous.

My girlfriend called me in a panic with the news that she walked out for lunch at her job to a flat tire. I am also an employee at Firestone. I immediately called the nearest Firestone and told them she was on her way there. Even though they were closing as she arrived Jason Wadsworth took extra special care of her without even knowing I was also a Firestone employee, staying open a full hour after closing to service a few customers with emergency situations. Its great to know that Tricia, my girlfriend, can get the same service at any Firestone that she would if she came to my store. The Young man running the shop on Sunday is great. I came by few months after my alignment started to pull again. He doubled checked and corrected it for me. They stand behind their work.

Was passing through on a trip from NY to TX to tow a trailer back to NY when my truck developed the need for an alignment and wheel balance. On a time crunch with a deadline to meet, I found this place an hour and a half on the way from where I was and called ahead. I spoke with Heath, and he said he could squeeze me in. We showed up, dropped off the truck, and walked around town for about and hour or so and came back. The technician, Jacob, was making multiple test drives to make sure everything was adjusted properly. Probably took two hours total. He got it back to how it was when I first bought it! Heath did a great job keeping me informed while I waited, and was very friendly. If I ever find myself in Alabama again and suddenly need wheel/tire work, I’ll definitely make my way there.

I will never go back. They lie to you to get your business. Years ago they sold me some tires and told me about the great support for any issues. Well I found out that was wrong. I recently went for an oil change and was given a $ 15 off coupon to use on line. Well found out this didnt cover normal oil change.

They made my car stop vibrating at the speed it normally vibrates at and made it start vibrating at a new speed.

If you need mechanical work done to your car do not take it here unless its for tires or an oil change. I took mine here last July for a problem with the relay to my fuel pump & loss of power & they claimed to replace my catalytic converter and both front axles & after I got it back the next time I got on the interstate, the bottom fell out from under me. Transmission fluid was all over the side of the road. Then they said it was an adapter that the right axle did not call for on the parts & they fixed it but never even touched the fuel pump relay which I brought it in to begin with for so someone else repaired that for free no parts just cleaned the connections. So now its May less than a yr later and I need the other axle replaced on the drivers side that they said they replaced back in July. Ill never go back there & recommend anyone to find you a good mechanic & stick with them. If you dont know any personally I would take mine to Buddy at Havoline bc express oil change in gardendale is just as bad. Btw... Im missing a lug nut on my tire too. Smh this place is horrible

My dad used to work for Firestone now he works for another company I had them do a patch on a tire and expection on my vehicle in my father told me they were trying to charge me for stuff that they shouldnt have been charging for so watch out or theyll rip you off.
