I wrote a harsh review earlier today about a service issue that my daughter experienced at this venue. Later in the afternoon, I received a call from a lady called Taylor who completely remedied our concern and situation. I am extremely grateful and pleased that a favorable solution was reached between us. This type of customer service is what I expect to receive and is why I would recommend using this storage company. I appreciate you taking care of this matter in the manor in which you did!

We had a very good experience moving our things into storage and Jane the manager could not have been more helpful to make it as smooth as possible.

GIVE TAYLOR A RAISE!!!I dont even know where to begin. After having a very unsuccessful, stressful experience at another Public Storage location, my step-dad and I came to this location seeking help. I feel awful because Taylor had to call at least 4 other numbers to get us the answers we were looking for. She did everything she could to help us with a smile on her face, all while saying it wasnt a problem. I ended up canceling my reservation at the other location and booking a unit with her because I felt she was reliable & beyond helpful. I wanted that kind of customer service moving forward. We are long time (10+ years) customers of Public Storage in Garden City, New York. We have been very happy with the facility the entire time. The building is always kept clean. The entire staff has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Jane in particular stands out in our minds as being very helpful and wonderful person to deal with. *****

I was there a few days ago with my fiancée looking for storage options since we are moving. Taylor helped us and showed us all the space she had available, and even gave us packing tips that we’re going to use during our move. It was a great experience and we really liked the variety of options. Taylor was even helpful when it came to our budget and what we could afford. Overall a wonderful experience!

They refuse to print receipts. They refuse to allow access to the bathroom. The store is ALWAYS closed. They never ” Attend “ or even try to help. Bad customer serviceYou always feel Like You are annoying the girl behind the desk. I’ll be vacating by the end of this month. I’ve found cleaner safer and more affordable option in the long run storage place.

Prices are a bit high but theyre so quick and easy to deal with and to get in and out of.

Worst customer service ever. Felt like I was a bother and annoyed the girl completely. She Wouldn’t show me the room I wanted to see, after a bit of going back and forth I was sent into a building to look at the unit by myself which took time out of my day. Waste of time, when I finally found it I mentioned it wouldn’t work and asked if I could see another size - the girl behind the desk said at this point said if I want anything it has to be done online then went back to playing a video game. Avoid this company at all costs - if that’s how you’re treated as a non customer I can only imagine what a current customer is treated like.

I was there this past Saturday. Great pricing and very clean place. Jane was very very helpful and quick with getting me settled with my items. I was very very impressed with her work ethics and keeping the place very clean.

Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Very well lit. Easy access any time you want.Only 5 days to pay monthly rent before they charge you a hefty late fee. Smells a little funky. Just a shame they raise your rent every 5 months with only 3 week notice of the rent hike so you have no choice but to pay. You have 14 days to move out once you give them notice even though you paid for the month.

I just closed my unit and Jane was extremely helpful from the day I started renting the unit till the day I closed it. I closed the unit because it simply was not needed anymore. My entire experience with this unit was top notch. Jane made both the renting and closure process seamless. Thanks for everything!

This Public Storage facility is very conveniently located, right near the parkway and various shopping locations. Carolina and Jane are both very helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and efficient, and were really great when I wanted to change my space from one area of the premises to another. The customer service here was unexpectedly remarkable. Usually when you think of a Public Storage, you don’t automatically think of world-class customer service. However, I think Carolina & Jane proved otherwise. I walked into this store to buy 4 small boxes for a school project and I was treated with a stunning amount of respect and compassion. I believe I bought about $10 worth of boxes—but I was treated like I was going to buy a cube. Regardless, looking at all the other reviews posted, I don’t believe this comes as a surprise to anyone. I would definitely return to this store!

Very informant with scheduling of opening& closing on the gate, reasonable pricing with indoor and outdoor storage I will recommend to family and friends.

My family and I use public storage all of the time. Best place to rent. I rent out east and my grandmother rented here a few weeks back with Jane. She asked me to give Jane a performance reply. This already pricey organization nearly doubled its price at the end of the year, and the only warning was a small card sent by snail mail, even though they had our email and a phone number. The storage units are not available in evenings or night time, making it inconvenient for those who are busy in the daytime. By contrast, the storage we used in Buffalo was available at all times, so I see no reason for this restriction on hours. On the plus side, the unit itself provided good protection for our stuff, including humidity and temperature, and the employed staff were honest and polite. Our issues are with the executive decisions of their organization, not with the service provided.

Very pleasant experience. Jane was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us get a unit. We were treated with the upmost respect in a professional environment. The facility was clean and employees were very friendly.

Talked with Carolina / Jane. My questions about payment options were answered promptly and I was given the data I needed to do EFT from my bank instead of through their website. We now have the optimum storage unit for our situation and it took less than 2 minutes to complete both the transaction and the exchange of information. We are also happy with the climate controlled storage unit itself.

I have a unit that I have rented for years, and my boss has two extra large units that he rents. Over the years it has been a pleasure working with Jane, she is efficient, professional and always on the ball. Recently I had an issue that I had to downsize to a smaller unit for myself. Jane knew exactly what I was looking for and within a month was able to fill my needs. On moving day she made the transition as easy as possible and was there in any capacity needed. I have to say that Ed too was a help that day helping us find a cart and directing my husband in the right direction. Rita is just the Best!!! She went above and beyond in customer service and taking care of me and my storage needs. I was actually researching different storage companies closer to where I was working and came upon Rita at Public Storage in Garden City. I came into her office and asked to see the different unit sizes and pricing. Rita was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient showing me several inside / outside units and answering all of my questions. I was extremely impressed with how clean the main building is and all the units are. From the minute I came in until I left Rita was doing all she could to help me and assure me of the security of the facilities and storage units as I was concerned for my items. Rita called me several times after I left and I just knew this was the place to go. I signed up online and took advantage of the new customer discounts and went back the same day to sign the agreement. I am 100% sure if it wasn’t for Rita I wouldn’t have taken the storage unit. Call and look for Rita!!!!

Have been using this facility for about 20 years. Jane has been handling our accounts for all of those years. You cant beat customer service like hers. She is always pleasant and has a wonderful way about her. Jane is super helpful and very informative. You can tell that she takes her job seriously and cares about you as a customer. There have been a couple of times that our credit card expired. Jane calls to give us a friendly reminder that we need to update the card. I dont know what Public Storage would do without her as an employee!
