The five stars is for the person who helped me with getting my covid vaccine card laminated. They dont actually laminate the card itself, they make a copy and laminate the copy for free!! He greeted me while the other lady just stared at the desk, she didnt say a word to me and I was standing right in front of her lmao! Anyway the store is very clean and if youre worried about masks, the staff does wear masks except for the ones that got the vaccine!

June 2021, I brought in 10 ink cartridges & received $20 in rewards. I was told that I had to wait 30 days to redeem but reward would expire in September. I returned today, 8/5 to redeem & was told that the reward expired but the employee could not give me a expiration date. His attitude was one of indifference which annoyed me the most. This is not my first experience with indifference in this store therefore will take my business else where!

The door just got unlocked theyre already in the weeds the lady wasnt very friendly didnt even greet me act like I was bothering her then ended up coming to the back where she sent me and getting my merchandise at least she didnt charge me twice and she could have...⭐ Convenience ⭐ quality ⭐ price

I had a young man help me find a pair of head phones that was otherwise sold out and off the shelves. He told me that there was one in the back and I was impressed with how he remembered the stock. I only waited a few minutes before he found me again and was able to purchase the headphones I needed. This place is always fast and efficient.

My wife and I had some printing done Thursday afternoon May 27, 2021 at the OfficeMax in Butler Plaza (Gainesville, FL). We provided a flash-drive with the info to print. The person in the Print Dept. viewed and printed the files as we requested. We paid for the print job and went home.The next morning we noticed that the spacings, font, and missing info was not printed properly. (We did not properly proof the pages that were printed the night before.) I checked our flash-drive for the files and realized that the Print Dept. person copied them to a .pdf file (to print) instead of the Publisher file I created the files. We will always proof the printing before leaving in the future to prevent disappointments.We went back to the OfficeMax to speak to the Manager (Frank). After explaining to Frank what happened, he promptly escorted us to the Print Dept. to correct the problems. The Print Dept. Manager (Leah) helped us with our problem by correcting the issues and reprinting the files that we needed. Leah also cut the multiple printings for us without charge, saving us the time to do that at home. What was a disappointing experience turned out to be a very good experience!We want to commend both Frank and Leah on the great customer service we experienced and highly recommend OfficeMax in Butler Plaza Gainesville, FL for your future office/printing needs.

The lady at printing was very rude and unprofessional. Came into print funeral notices for my mother that recently passed away and the woman rolled her eyes at me. She threw things on the counter in discuss because she had to help someone and was so rude that I walked out of store after telling her that I didn’t need her attitude

The staff here is awesome! They were extremely efficient, and although VERY busy, they were great with every customer and were multitasking like nobody’s business. Kaiya and her coworker helped me out to get some beautiful large prints made, and suffered through my endless questions with great attitudes. The gentleman who rang me up even gave me a student discount on my entire order without me saying anything! I will always come here for my printing needs!

This is a really great store. The staff is so incredibly helpful and its rare to see that kind of service in this day and age. They really care about making sure you get what you need.They have a full service print and copy center where do everything from copies and photos to business cards, banners and posters! For the students in the area, they do offer a student discount that gives you about 10% off on supplies/ink and 60%-80% off on copies and printing!They work on computers as well. You can get a free diagnostic on your pc without an appointment!This is also one of the best places in Gainesville to shop for office furniture. While I was there, all the chairs were on sale and they had an excellent selection of desks, filing cabinets, bookcases and more at great prices!I really enjoyed my experience here and I think you will too.

I took my computer in on June 3, 2015 to get checked out. I wanted it to run faster. I gave the guy my card for the free inspection and free tune up. What he did was erase files that I wanted without my permission and made my computer slower. I was angry. I called office Max and got the runaround. I was told that in order to have my computer fixed it would cost $179 + tax. I said it was running and operating better before you did the tune-up why should I have to pay for your mistakes. The free inspection and free tune-up is a gimmick to get you in their store so they can mess-up your computer and charge you to fix it. Dont let them fix anything. I may buy products there but they wont be working on my computer again. Connie the asst. manager who used to work there was good but that Terrance B. is not. I bought my laptop from them 2 1/2 years ago and they dont have the same tech people or policies since they merged with Office Depot.

Wonderful service from Tom Carter and Christian: I was looking for a windows computer to run a particular Excel template. The first computer I bought refused to install the template and despite hours of trying from both my salesman Christian and the store manager Tom Carter we couldnt get it to install properly. The store was willing to trade the computer out for a different brand that they had found would install it properly. I ran into another problem working with the new computer and again got excellent help in resolving the problem. Im so happy that Office Max was willing and able to make sure that I was able to solve my problems.

I typically frequent the Office Depot off of 13th St., but on Monday I was driving around looking for a printing place to get a passport photo, in a hot car, with a cranky hubby still recovering from surgery, to no avail. We stopped at the OfficeMax on Archer, hoping they might. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Amy. She asked me what I needed and said they didnt do passport photos, but shed help me find somewhere close that did. She not only found the place--that was closer to me--but she printed me up an online coupon for $2 off. Thank you Amy for your sincere customer service, even though I wasnt buying anything that day!

Went into the store today to get assistance with shipping thru their fedex ship services. I stood at the counter forever with no employee in sight. went to the front, asked the cashier if I could get help with shipping something. she blankly replied, not very friendly. then a male employee who was just as unfriendly and confused as the girl directed me to their boxes, of which they didnt actually have in stock. I left after telling the employee that I would just go somewhere else because he seemed lost. he just said let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. wow. not good customer service at all.

Theyve been very good. For instance, I bought a laptop with Windows 8.1 on it in June 2015, which upgraded for free to Windows 10 when that program was released. However, the upgrade was accompanied by a boatload of viruses. Terence at Office Max spent a lot of time getting that stuff off, reinstalling Windows 10, and getting the machine to work. This was a software problem not covered by the warranty, but he did not charge me. Another staffmember at Office Max also helped me figure out that the reason my 2005 monitor was not working was simply dust on the plug. After he cleaned it it worked like new. This was after I had been to Best Buy, which told me, without even looking at the monitor, my only solution would be to junk it and buy a new one.

Be careful that the sales price shows up a register. It happen to a customer in front of me, who was then sent off to another employee, then I noticed my receipt upon leaving the store that they did not ring up the sale price which amounted to $20 off the original price. Then went back in and they do not have enough employees to handle a Saturday crowd with back to school sale. Due to time constraints I made the decision not to wait and thus forfeit my refund in exchange for never shopping at Office Max again.
