This has been the spot for everything sewing since I can remember. I call it my black hole cuz when I come in here nothing else exist or matters. The customer service has always been friendly and knowledgeable and professional. 👍Great sales too.

I would have given 5 stars but the men’s bathroom had graffiti and the trash was overflowing. See photos. Otherwise a great store for anything fabric wise. Friendly and helpful staff, COVID-19 aware, so wear a mask.

Huge yarn selection. The sales were a little confusing, bought 2 big skiens of yarn and ended paying just over $12 for them but they had the colors I needed (which were hard to find at other stores). They also had Raffia and other types of yarn I had a hard time finding in other craft stores. Definitely will be coming back. I found a huge cake of yarn for just over $17 that said Make an afghan in 1 skein. I was excited. Must. Go. Back.

The variety of selection is almost mind numbing in its scope. So many different fabrics and all the imaginable supplies one might need for virtually any project. On top of that, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Found the items I was looking for then decided to browse a bit. The selection of merchandise is not that great. I liked it when they carried educational materials, like bulletin board decorations, flash cards etc. I guess they dont sell well so they did away with it. :(

Joanns is one of those places where if you already know it, you love it. It is one of my happy places. I walk in and I feel comfortable. Any sort of craft you want to do has supplies there. The people working are always wonderful and knowledgeable. Politically and inventory-wise, it is so much better than Hobby Lobby.If you go, get the app. There are always tons of coupons on there. Then, if you look at the coupons on the app and the coupons on the website, if the last digits are different, you can double up your coupons. Like, if there is a 60% off one regularly priced item and the coupon on the app end in a 2 and the coupon on the website ends in an 8, you can use both. So, if you are buying two regularly priced items, you get 60% off both of them.There are always tons of sales and coupons. Keep an eye out and you will get good prices on lots of things.

Needed to get 3 yards of Dark Plum satin and finding faux flowers for a wreath. They have a great selection on fabrics and plenty of fake flowers and greenery to sift through.

This was my first visit to Joanns. I was pleasantly surprised at the square footage of the store. I was able to obtain the items needed for an upholstery project. There seems to be pleanty of supplies you need for whatever project you are working on. With COVID-19 being in our midst, they offer online shopping and curbside pick-up. I chose to visit the store because I needed to see a specific item in person. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. You also can get coupons online and also after your purchase to use on your next purchase. Good experience.

Terrific. I live in alachua florida I. We need a store like joanns.

This location is easy to get in and out of, and they make the most of the space that they have. They get 4/5 stars because its not terribly accessible for wheelchair users. The aisles themselves are too narrow to navigate well with the one motorized shopping cart that they have available for customer use. There are often displays in the center of the main aisles that make it difficult to make turns between aisles. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and they make sure the checkout lines go fast even if they get a bit long. I love shopping there, and there is almost always an applicable coupon in store or on the phone app to save money on top of whatever sales they have going in the store.

This place was organized and clean. It has so many options for fabrics and crafts. Employees were helpful, specially Jolene who suggested I download the app to get extra savings and I saved more on top of sales price.

Went to Joann fabrics in Butler Plaza yesterday. Asked about fabric, assistant was pleasant in looking up the fabric and calling the other stores. The on duty managers attitude was not polite nor professional. She was short with the assistant, lied to me and asked if I wanted to speak with the Sunday manager.

Joann is a little overwhelming if youre not there enough to know what youre looking for, but it does have a lot of variety and because the store is large there is more room for social distancing as well

The store itself is great! The store is clean and organized and the people are helpful and nice. I have had many online orders canceled so that was a bummer but it is during this pandemic so I understand.

I entered this location today to pick up a few yards of fabric. The fabric counter was packed with customers. There was no enforcement of people standing 6 feet apart. At the fabric counter, there was a woman customer not wearing a mask and nothing was being done about it. The woman was talking and getting close to many people in the line as well as the employee helping her. The woman intentionally stepped out of the way of the face guard meant to protect employees to make sure she spoke directly into the employees face. The woman used her whole hand to wipe the crust and saliva from her mouth and then touched then counter. She also put her hands down the back of her pants and touched the counter again. I asked the manager of the store if masks were mandated. The manager clearly did not want to speak with me and ignored me from behind the counter for a couple of minutes before deciding she would speak with me. The store manager said that masks are not mandatory in the store and that they cannot make anyone wear them in the store or do anything about it. I asked if they could at least wipe down the are that the woman contaminated. I have no idea if they ever did that because I got out of there as quickly as possible. This location does not care about patron safety and would rather pander to the disrespectful and unsanitary minority of customers. I will not be returning to any JoAnn Fabrics location and would hope that this display of negligence would persuade others to think twice before supporting this business.

A fantastic person helped me find the material I needed. In and out of the store in record time. Found exactly what I needed for a sewing project.

I go there to get the best Yarns I can find locally. Also I find stuff to make jewelry and everything else I want to work on. I always go in there and find something interesting whether its a new book or how to make something else.Places always clean when Ive been there. May not be neat but it is clean. Cashiers are always handy and helpful. The only thing might say against them is that they dont have enough floor staff. Much less knowledgeable floor staff

Great selection of...well, all kinds of stuff, really! I was there for beads/jewelry making goods. Whats great is that theres always something on sale, and that makes it kind of fun! Also, if youre on their email list, great coupons. This last time I went, they had a great bargain bin (of jewelry stuff). I left with two bags of goodies for $60. Ill definitely be back!

Theyve got a good selection, its hit or miss on service though. Sometimes you get someone whos knowledgeable and happy to help, sometimes you get the opposite.

This location is one of the best! Large store, very clean, and organized. I mainly buy stuff for my cricut but the selections of all crafts supplies is awesome.

I hate to leave this one star rating for our beautiful Joann Fabric store in Gainesville because I love it so much and the people that work there are usually so helpful and lovely. However, I witnessed something while I was shopping there today that SHOCKED me. Everyone was doing a wonderful job social distancing and trying to be considerate of each other. As one customer left, another was allowed in, And everyone had on masks. The problem was that one associate I saw was working away, not paying any attention to how close she got to anyone. That’s not the worst of it though - her mask was a piece of ribbon holding a LACE square over her nose and mouth. I guess it was her way of protesting that she had to wear a mask. She may be the manager for all I know. It was at the very least very rude and inconsiderate of the other people that were trying to follow the guidelines of the Governor for re-opening our state.

So huge and many options available for anything you can think of. Very well organized and the folks who work there are kind and polite. Lots of random sales. Definitely going there again!

Great selection of fabrics and items for crafts,clean store.. would have given them a five star but although the staff was visible ( and there were plenty in the store) had trouble getting attention of an employee for assistance..they were chatting amungst each other ( not business related) and even though they saw us and heard us ask aloud for assistance...they took their sweet time...which was rather disappointing..when the young lady did come over to help us she was very knowledgeable and helpful..feel that they should put customer care before social time when they are on the clock! Other than that store was great!!!

I ordered a mini iron and waited 4 days and they were Closed according to their website and nobody called me or emailed me. They called me one day and said I could pick up my order the next day so I went to get it, they could not find my order! They said it had been canceled and my money would be refunded and I should have gotten and email... ya I hadn’t gotten anything, and haven’t gotten my money.

My wifes favorite place to go. Great place to get crafts and things like that besides fabrics. Great coupon opportunities to save money. They also give military discounts if you dont have a coupon of course for veterans and active duty military respectfully. Great place to just kill time when you are in between appointments. Always kind and considerate staff and great customer service.

I had never been in this store before. Not only do they have fabrics, but also crafts for kids and adults as well. They also have art supplies, framing services, and a good clearance section worth checking out as well.

The is a craft store. As a craft store it is large and has a wide selection of items to choose from for crafting. These are all the things you should expect from a craft store. What makes this place worth going to over the others is the staff they employ. I have never had more happy and helpful service. Recently I had the pleasure of being helped by Emily (I think) and she was friendly and patient with me. I really appreciate that she was willing to answer questions while she cut some fabric for me. Seriously, this is a place that makes all the difference with their service.

Good store , most stuff is on sale!

Fairly good prices but somewhat disorganized as where items are. Negative aspect, long wait for checking out, I was the 11th person in line waiting to check out and at no time did anyone think of opening additional registers. Slow, very slow check out.

I love the deals here. They often have really good sales. The only issue I have is occasional iffy customer service. Some people who work here are super helpful and kind. On other occasions however, like today when the woman at the register reacted in a rude manner when I changed my mind on purchasing an item at the register once I realized it had been put in the wrong spot and was not actually on sale. I understand bad days but her reaction made me feel very uncomfortable.
