Went to Glen Polk again to have my car serviced on its regular check up usual service was excellent. While there I checked out another new truck was approached by a representative of Glen Polk by the name of BJ ..After telling him I wasnt ready to buy just yet and might be bit. BJ did not blow me off like many other places or have a why you wasting my time attitude and treated like he just sold me a new car. thank you Glen Polk /BJ/Louis in the service department along with Trent who started our tradition with Glen Polk 10 years ago. thanks again Glen Polk Family Dealership.

BEWARE OF RAM/DODGE SERVICE CENTER. I was driving south on I35 when my truck started acting up I pulled off in Maysville then drove to the dealership. They said it would be awhile before they could get to my truck so I had someone come get me as I am from the OKC area. While waiting I had an employee come to me and give me the name and number of a mechanic that he recommended because he said this was going to cost me alot of money and probably not going to be done right. I figured they were disgruntled and that a dealership would take good care of me. Boy was I wrong.After having my truck for over 4 days they said I needed a $3000 filter replaced and that my truck would not run without it working even though I drove it there and they said they drove it also. I called the dealership I use and even another one and they both said that filter seldom goes out and that it can be regenerated easily and something else was probably causing that symptom. The service writer told me that the filter was bad and had to be replaced or nothing could be done to my truck. Being 2 hours away I was in a tough spot so I agreed and told them to fix it.When I got my truck after paying $3875 and got it home it WAS DOING THE EXACT SAME THING AS IT WAS WHEN I TOOK IT TO THEM!! I took it to my dealership and had them get the codes that had come up at the time of the first issue. They said it was a fuel issue and that the filter they replaced was a symptom of the problem. My dealership did not charge me a diagnosing fee as they felt I had been taken advantage of and/or had a bad diagnosis from Polk and FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR $289. They also said I would probably have to come back as I drove my truck from Gainsville to OKC with it running bad I would probably have another issue. They were right and I had to return and had my $3000 filter regenerated for $159, not replaced like Polk said it had to be done.When I contacted the service manager Chris McCray he was very intent on reading me policy and procedures rather than addressing the issue of me spending $3000 for a filter that didnt fix my problem. When Mr. McCray told me he didnt care how much $$ I spent all he cared about was him logging service hours and that he was mad he didnt take me for more $$ and I should just be appreciative that my truck made it home . I needed to end the conversation because I knew then and there he didnt care about anything I had to say. I truly feel I was wronged from the beginning, them taking four days to diagnose my truck, which by the way my dealership took about 3 hours, too being charged $3000 for a filter that didnt need to be replaced only regeneratedTRULY A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I hope that noone else gets treated this way ever by POLK.
