This experience was the easiest of our entire 1940s house remodel. The customer service was outstanding and they went above and beyond to make sure I was able to have the right granite for the space. The installers did a fantastic job and cleaned up beautifully. I am so grateful we found this company!

Went into the shop in fuquay varina.. the men working were the best to talk to and explain what i was looking for.. they were helpful and helped me get what i needed.. California Granite and Flooring were a pleasure to work with. We replaced our old countertops with granite and installed a new tile backsplash and sink. Taryn was wonderful! She walked us through the entire process and always responded to any of my questions and concerns right away. Their prices were more than competitive and the quality of the product was great. With any home renovation project there are always kinks but they were quickly corrected and the finished product was absolutely amazing!! I high recommend them to anyone looking for any granite projects.

Never deal with this company. We were told that Jessica was a good salesperson to work with, but Armando reached us first. We chose 2 possible countertop colors, discussed prices,a pending installation of 7 days, and waited for someone to come out and do a final countertop measure. Everything went sour after that. When Armando had not called within 24 hours to finalize the sale and schedule the installation appointment, we finally called California Granite ourselves and were told that Armando was at lunch and would call back upon his return. Two days later there was still no call from Armando. We made another call to California Granite and were told that Armando would email back in 20 minutes. It is closing time and 4 hours later Armando has again not contacted us. His Intential lack of communication sends business to competitiors. Others have mentioned the same problem with Armando in previous reviews.

We needed countertop for laundry room. Because of small amount needed we were able to choose from an already cut piece at a reduced cost. Staff was very helpful with choosing something that would look good and meet budget criteria. Came out and measured our space and determined hole placement for sink. Picked up a week later and installed ourself. At time of pickup they had neglected to cut back splash. While I waited they cut the required pieces and it 9nly took about 10 minutes extra. Highly recommend because their prices are affordable and they have great customer service.

Extremely helpful and PATIENT while I deliberated over what countertop product to install. The final installation was done carefully. It has been five years now and the countertops are still perfect. Recently i was working on a rehab project and wanted another piece of granite. I selected a piece, put down the deposit, the project then went in another direction, and my deposit was processed and returned without a problem. Later I needed to have several small cuts of granite for another project and this was accomplished successfully. California Granite and Flooring is top notch!

I would highly recommend California granite. They were on time and very professional. I actually chose all of my granite remotely and was very satisfied. I did have one issue and Armando went over and beyond what was expected to make sure we were satisfied customers. Customer service is top of their mind and that will keep me coming back to them and recommending them to others.

This was our third experience with CG&F, and it was just as wonderful an experience as our other two times. This time, I was simply getting granite for bathroom counter. After patiently going through the granite selection process with me, Armando was excellent in following up with me on scheduling installation. They arrived promptly, did an excellent job both of measuring and installing. And did I mention that their pricing is quite competitive, and even better than the competition. But the real excellence in customer service was revealed when we learned that the sink holes were cut too small (an error on our end, not theirs). When I reached out to Armando, he generously agreed to have the granite tech come back out, which he did; and they made the adjustment for us with absolutely no problem! Thanks, CG&F; we will come back every time!!!

I had a new cooktop installed and the old opening in the granite countertop was too big. California Granite and Flooring responded promptly to address the problem. The crew was courteous and professional. They cut and seamlessly attached a new piece of granite from a remnant I had. They did it expertly and efficiently so that the cooktop installation could be completed that same day. I would heartily recommend California Granite and Flooring.

If you are looking for a company that promises a lot and doesnt deliver, this is the place.If you want to repeatedly be told when someone will be at your house at a certain time or on a certain day just to have nobody arrive or call, this is the place for you.If you want to leave messages that are never returned, this is the place for you.Yes, they will probably save you some money, but I truly believe that the stress it produces while the job is getting done isnt worth it.When my bathroom was remodeled, Armando (son of the owner) was always telling my wife and I when someone would be at our house, just to not arrive when we are told; sometimes a completely different day.By the time we figured out what we were dealing with, we were too far along to start over with someone else. I never gave a review when the bathroom was finally finished because it looked to be a good job and Armando told us that they believed in the quality so much that if any mold ever appeared or a problem ever came up, they would come in and fix it at no charge.I will say that the sealing job was sub-par and I had to have it sealed again. It was apparent when the tiles changed color when wet, indicating the water seeping into the natural tile floor. I didnt have his people come since I didnt have any other vacation days to waste if they were again a no-show.Fast forward a little over 2 years and we started getting a lot of mold and I noticed that there were cracks in the grout along the floor and wall corners. I went into the store and was told they didnt do that kind of repair. I told them that Armando had told me otherwise, so they told me when he would be in. I returned and spoke to him. I was told that they would get the supplies to fix it by the next Wednesday. A week after that Wednesday, I stopped by to see when they were going to fix it. Armando said it would be that Friday. Since then, they didnt show up, didnt call, didnt return or acknowledge my texts directly to Armandos phone about what was going on.I finally asked if the failure to get back to me was an indication that I was on my own but they never returned that message either.Trust me, unless you like what I outlined, you should go elsewhere.

California Granite were very friendly and helpful. From concept to completion they made sure all details were covered. Final physical install was accomplished in good time with the entire team being very courteous and careful. Highly recommended.

From the time we stepped into their showroom, it was the best experience! We were on a little bit of a time crunch because of our sink delivery, but they were able to make it all happen in a very orderly & fast process!! We had our fireplace hearth replaced with a granite remnant. After shopping around California Granite was the only place to have in stock what we actually needed. The selection was awesome. They were extremely flexible with scheduling the template and install. The install did not occur at the promised time, but after a quick phone call to the store, an acceptable answer was provided. The install crew was awesome. They were polite and cleaned up afterwards. We love the new look. Definitely better than the original material. The cost from start to finish cannot be beat. Should we need more granite, we will definitely go back!

I chose this company for my project almost exclusively based on price. My project required two small countertops that we chose from remnants. I went to pick them up when I was told they would be ready, and one was not finished yet. I took the finished one home, and it was too shallow for my standard depth cabinet. They went ahead and cut a new one for me. When I went to pick it up (along with the original unfinished one) it looked like an entirely different type of granite, much darker. They cut yet another piece of granite that matched the original. They had also still not finished the sink holes, which they did while I waited. Overall the process took about two weeks, many phone calls/texts, and 4 trips back to their showroom, but the pieces turned out beautiful. They were very friendly the whole time, and resolved the situation entirely to my satisfaction. If you have the flexibility/patience to work with them if something goes wrong, I would definitely recommend this company.

Great experience! We bought a piece of remnant granite from them for our bathroom countertops. The younger woman in the showroom had so much patience with me as we walked around in the heat searching for a specific color/pattern of granite and was so helpful! They came to our house to measure at the exact time they said they would and same with the installation. The countertop looked even better than I expected when installed - thank you!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. They have no respect for their customers. They have no respect for their customers time. They will lie of what time they schedule appointments . Show up an hour and a half late and act as if it is not a big deal. Instead of offering apologies they leave the customer without a counter top and unfinished kitchen for their new house. If will allow a company to walk all over you then this company is for you.

We used this company to do our granite countertops in a new kitchen. Not only where they great priced but they were very responsive from day one and accomidateed our need of having it be a 2 step installation. Hands down we would use againand highly recommend them.

As a contractor i can give a 5 for the work quality. However the customer service is about a 2 and needs some work, now if you understand the business this can be typical so they really dont deserve the previous negative comments. Contractors have a great deal to do, sometimes they get a time wrong....No person is perfect. It in no way dimishes the quality of the product or their quality of work which is great. So be patient and give them a try.

I cannot even give them one star! I took off work and they were scheduled me an appt at 9:00am. I finally called them at 10:42am because no one had showed up or called. When I called they asked if they were late for an install, to which I answered no an estimate. they did not even know what they had agreed to do at 9:00am at my house?!?! No thank you I do not need services like that. I would be scared to see the quality of work they do since there was such a lack of effect in the whole scenario!Had to press a star but not giving it to them!

We opted to use California Granite and Flooring to complete the granite countertops in both our kitchen and our two bathrooms. The agency communicates well with their customers until the contract is signed but don’t expect that level of customer service once you’ve signed on the dotted line.Once in contract with them, the staff no showed, cancelled, or rescheduled appointments multiple times without communicating effectively with us (the customer). They failed to obtain the initial information that was needed for the project, misplaced specs on multiple occasions, had to come out on three separate occasions to get measurements that had been lost by their staff, and failed to even order the granite prior to 3-4 days before the final installation. While they blamed this on the firing of a staff person repeatedly, it was clear the staff are disorganized and don’t communicate well among their staff or with their customers.After several weeks of delays, the install occurred over the course of several days (they were not prepared with all the pieces that had been requested on the first round of installs). The granite is beautiful, and the install was largely without incident; however, one of the splashguards in the master bath was never glued down and despite asking the installers to look at it when they were on site, they refused. In response, the office staff blamed the installers refusal on a language barrier but requested pictures of the uninstalled guard and agreed to make it right.The billing process with this agency has been atrocious and has constituted nothing short of harassment. Their “invoice” for final payment was dated 20 days before the final installation was completed. The installers refused to accept payment on site when the install was completed and indicated we should wait for the company to contact us for final payment. Two weeks after the final install, we received a call from office staff indicating payment was “extremely past due” and requesting payment via telephone. We requested a final invoice from the agency given our concerns about their lack of organization and statements about the “lateness” of the bill. We communicated with staff the morning after we received the final invoice via text message that payment had been sent. Despite this, over the course of the last week, office staff have called multiple times a day (different staff calling from different numbers) stating the invoice was more than a month overdue (we received the invoice 4 days ago and mailed payment 3 days ago!) and threatening to send the account to collections. When confronted on their billing practices, one staff member apologized and admitted the agency staff were not documenting their communications with customers and therefore staff were not aware of payment arrangements that had been made with other staff.It appears this is a pattern of behavior from this agency rather than a one-time deal and potential clients should expect deadlines to go unmet, communication to be limited, paperwork and billing to be disorganized and wrong when it is completed at all, and staff to blame others while being hostile and threatening when they do communicate with customers. This is not an agency I would recommend for services despite the ultimate product being installed largely without incident. Their poor customer service, lack of organization, and threatening attitude are not worth the trouble of doing business with them. This is one of the worst transactions Ive ever experienced. Distributors should also be aware that the agency attempted to convince us to go with a different “preferred” distributor when we were in the initial phases of the project.

Large selection of granite remnants. Although I had rough measurement, they sent a representative to my home to measure exact countertop size and location of faucet. Quick turnaround, from selection to installation, between 1-2 weeks. Cant speak to previous reviews, but Stephanie is a new salesperson and fantastic to work with! She was very helpful in sending photos of available granite in the color scheme I requested (since I lived about 30 minutes away); but, once I saw they had something I liked I went in person to confirm. Interestingly enough, I found something better onsite. (I learned photos dont do justice or capture the beauty of some of the pieces, you have to see the whole piece in daylight to get a sense of what is will look like.) The installation team removed the old granite and faucets. There were three installers and they worked quickly and professionally. They were very cautious not to damage surrounding wall, mirror or fixtures. After they completed the job and left, I encountered a few rough spots. I spoke with Stephanie and without hesitation she had the installers return to smooth out those snagging spots. This was an overall great experience. I attribute my experience to the determination of Stephanie who ensured complete customer satisfaction! I will certainly return and work with her again.
