Let me start off by saying that I am really really really hard to impress when it comes to coffee. I’m one of those people that often orders coffee and it just goes In the trash because I would rather not drink it if it’s not good. So I was a little nervous trying a new place. But boy was I impressed.First of all, this place is so cute inside. They greet you as you come in. They are super friendly to literally everybody in there.The gentleman that helped me at the register was super friendly and helpful. He helped me find a drink since it was my first time being there. When I picked up my drink, he made sure to check to make sure that it was what I wanted. And it didn’t feel like he was doing it because he had to. They actually genuinely appear to care whether or not you enjoy what they are providing you which is a huge deal. They used our names which is also super cute.I guess now I can get to the coffee. He recommended their coffee by the name of hallelujah which has cinnamon in it. It was absolutely delicious. Even my 11-year-old thought it was tasty and he hates coffee.I 100% recommend giving this place a try. It definitely brightened up my morning. Another plus is that they donate a dollar for every Hallelujah drink they sell to the Marjorie Mason Center.The only negatives I could find was that it’s a bit pricey, I wish they had bigger sizes for the iced drinks and it’s right on top of Fresno high school so traffic is a little bit rough at Certain times.Nothing bad enough to keep me away from the yummy drink I just discovered though. ❤️

My first time going and Ill definitely be back! No line on a quiet Monday. Iced vanilla latte was exactly what I expected and the crossiant even better. The barista warmed it up for me and both ladies working were friendly. Definitely better to support them rather than a big corporation.

I dont drink coffee (I know), but my wife does. Picked up some fire beans during a business trip and she loves the aroma and flavor. Took her to the shop in Clovis a few weeks ago and she had a hallelujah moment- and drank one as well. Great service and great cup of coffee, from what Ive been told.

Over this past year, before moving to Santa Cruz, we became REGULARS at Kuppa Joy! The staff have always been so incredibly kind and make you feel like youre their only customer every time you go to the register. Jason, Jen, and all the Kuppa Joy staff are so kind and dog friendly!Their coffee beans are awesome and you can get Crave cookies which are phenomenal. Kuppa Joy also gives back to the community, during COVID they continue to raise money for local business that need help! Theyre COVID procedures have been awesome and make you feel comfortable!Since moving to Santa Cruz, I have NOT found a place to get a good matcha and I miss Kuppa Joy! Hopefully if they ever decide to expand I hope they build one here in Santa Cruz!

The most delicious coffee ive ever had! Even the sugar free coffee is FIRE!

What has two thumbs and loves to talk about coffee? Only every employee at Kuppa Joy. Long space and a warm interior (albeit evangelical) is fully emphasized by friendly staff who are certain to take some extra time to ask you about your day. Yeah, I know, most coffee shops do that, but at Kuppa, they mean business. Their offerings are complex enough that I can’t even taste most of the notes they say is in their coffee, but jeez, this stuff is good. If you haven’t already, go here twice a day for two years next time you get a chance.

Very cool place to get together and coffee the best

I ordered a chocolate mocha and my wife a latte. Both were great! Service was quick and friendly.Their pastries looked amazing, but we had just eaten breakfast, so well have to wait until next time to try them out.

Stopped by to see what was available for a morning pick me up. Discovered the 4 oz. Kuppa Krunch gluten free*paleo*all natural cereal. Ingredients:almond meal, flaxseed meal, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried coconut, sea salt, honey, coconut oil, maple extract cinnamon, and maple syrup. Almond milk is poured over the cereal. It was very filling and had a good flavor. The Pain Train Protein Shake has 24g Chocolate plant protein, Almond butter, espresso, and Almond milk. You have a choice of either an espresso shot or espresso beans blended into the shake. I opted for the espresso beans since it is more natural and less wasteful pulling a shot and tossing the grounds. The atmosphere was pleasant. Everyone is friendly and the service was great. There are several styles of seating either bar tables with stools for 2 or 4 individuals or tables for 2 to 8. Music plays in the background, nice lighting and subtle references to biblical passages on the walls. If you want a warm and comfortable environment I would definitely recommend a visit. :)

This place is dope and I love that it is part of this neighborhood, my only wish is that it would have been there when I went to Fresno high but nonetheless it is an excellent addition to the renewed area. I have to support not only a local business but a great one at that. I went there quite a bit ago but I forgot to review it and I have to admit, their coffee is better than Starbucks I was pleasantly surprised. The place does get quite filled in the afternoon and evening depending on the day I assume but it does offer wifi. Great place and ambience to get some work done, highly recommend this spot!

Ordered an Almond Joy and it is AMAZING!!! I normally just drink plain coffee or tea but was wanting to try out Kuppa Joy and didnt think that ordering just regular coffee was a good way to judge a place. It is great!! Not too sweet with great flavor!Pairs well with my quesadilla!

Local great alternative to national chains

Nice place for coffee and they have outdoor seating so you can have a quiet experience. They have some baked goods and wifi as well. Its a great addition to the developing neighborhood.

Best coffee Ive ever had. No joke. Hot, iced, blended, kuppajoy, hallelujah, cold brew animal style.... its all amazing and I have yet to find anything comparable. Customer service is always great, and they call me by name now. The atmosphere at both Fresno locations is superb. I feel so welcomed everytime I come in! Today I bought coffee for 4 coworkers and they are in love!

The place is nice. Got 3 drinks: capuccino, kuppa blended and kuppa special. The kuppas are sweet and ok. The capuccino is not. Too much milk and I barely taste the coffee. The cappucino aroma is a little weird too.

Super cute! Conscious coffee shop with a lively population from the local schools. Staff was friendly and helpful the whole time.There were a few vegetarian options so I went with the frittata, boo got the chicken panini. Both were delicious but Im pretty sure mine was better :) no hot sauce available tho so come prepared! Matcha tea latte and brownie were both great, and alt diet friendly which was very convenient.Stop by and check it out!

Delicious local Hotspot near Fresno high.We love it!

There open usually in there OK I just have been trying to come here in the evening time but there never open The Times that they have listed on Google especially the echo location. Its listed as closing at 9 oclock but we get there when Ive gotten there there they are closed by 630.

My husband and I stop in whenever we are nearby. Today we went for lunch. He raved about his salad with shrimp. Likewise I was happy with my grilled cheese and asparagus sandwich. We enjoy going there whenever possible. Its clean, well run, and the owners are genuinely nice people.

Its a nice, quiet atmosphere if youre going here to sit and chill. I ordered the Oreo blended drink. It definitely tastes like Oreo. It wasnt blended that well, though. It ended up super chunky. It left giant chunks of thick ice slush and wasnt able to drink it. That was very disappointing.

The perfect hometown coffee shop. Great tasting drinks from lavander tea to espressos and simple drip coffees. Perfect environment for a cup of your favorite drink with plenty of comfortable seating. Extremely kind workers that great you immediately and ensure that youre served promptly with full advice and suggestions that youd expect from baristas.

Astronomical prices. I just paid $3.51 for hot water and a tea bag. Customer service is eh, kinda snooty...ageist skinny hipster vibes. Shouldnt have tipped.

First time here.The coffee is delicious and will definitely try their different coffee drinks. I just wish that I got to experience the inside of it before all this COVID stuff started happening. Looking from the door to what the inside looks like very fresh and hip.

Happy they are open, for sure. Could be better staffed given the line out the door (15 min wait) and 2 shots of espresso in a 16oz latte is pretty weak. I ordered extra shots and it was pretty tasty.

I come here pretty often. Its a good place to sit and get some work done. Their WiFi is really slow and doesnt ever work for me.The employees are really nice and always try to get to know you a bit. If you order your drink for here, you will get it in a dish so just be aware of that. I tried the Kuppa Joy Latte based on other Yelp reviews and it was way too sweet for me. I have yet to try any of their food.

I’m not even a coffee drinker but I love the spot. I go crazy for the hot chocolate. Absolutely nuts! The environment is so relaxing and peaceful. I didn’t know what to expect my first time coming here. I want you to know I come here on a weekly basis. Often at least twice a week.excellent location to go by yourself or with family, friends, or even a date. I’ve introduced this location to many people. I’ve conducted at least a half a dozen meetings at the place. It’s a great place to break the ice in future business Endeavors.

This is Fresnos hidden gem when it comes to amazing coffee and atmosphere. I was looking for a neighborhood place to meet some friends and we had a great chat. My cappuccino came in a real mug with a heart-shaped design done in cream on top, hand-delivered to my table with a smile. The staff is awesome and always wishes everyone a wonderful day as they leave. Definitely coming back!

The atmosphere and people are awesome. The pastry selection is not huge but it is well organized and everything is tasty. And the place is friendly no matter what your religious or political beliefs are. You come away feeling comforted and blessed.

10/10 would recommend this place. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they all really love and enjoy working with each other and where they are. The Coffee is exceptional and all roasted locally which is great. One of the roasters Amanda, also works in the shop and is incredibly informative with all things coffee related. Shes helped me time and again decide which bean is going to suit me best and is really helpful and kind. Ive never felt like they were snobby about their coffee knowledge at all. Love coming here and will continue to do so as long as Im able!

Kuppa Joy is a great coffee house in old Fresno High/Tower. The Honey Joy and Kuppa Joy are both delicious as is their green tea. The staff is always friendly and they know the regulars well. The atmosphere in the shop is peaceful and laid back, and the decor is sleek yet warm. Its a great place to go to work or to visit with friends. Im so happy to have this little gem in my neighborhood.

What a wonderful experience this place is! Can not get over the absolute charm of the staff and the coffee! If you order a hot drink, it comes with the most beautiful latte art on top. They really take some time to perfect their craft here and it dhows in all they do. So glad to have them in town!

I love this place. The staff are super friendly and theres always an uplifting atmosphere to get some work done or bring a date here. Its one of those hidden gems in Fresno that also makes one of the best cups of coffee in town. I also really appreciate the companies spiritual foundation on a spirituality founded theme and trusting in God with their business. You dont see that much these days and its refreshing.

First visit, and I had their The Fire espresso. It was a perfect pull for an excellent blend. One of the smoothest shots Ive ever tasted. Tried the Costa Rica pour over but unfortunately had to take it in a to go cupboard so Im pretty sure I lost something of this delicate, subtle SO. Will definitely be back.

Honestly tops every other shop in Fresno. All other can try as hard as they want to be like Kuppa Joy...But they will inevitably fall short every single time. This place is pretty dope. Came in on a bike ride to get some water but was pretty enticed by the menu and the really nice barista. She was very kind and walked me through the menu and suggested some things i would like. I really enjoyed my first drink so i went back for a second recommendation of hers and it was just as good. Will have to ride my bike down here more.
