This bike shop has some of the best customer service Ive ever had at a bike shop.I recently bought a bike for my daughter here. Due to the bike shortage we couldnt find the bike she wanted locally. While looking online I found the bike she wanted in her size here at Rubber Soul.We drove up from San Diego, almost 700 miles round trip to buy her bike and everyone at this shop was awesome to work with.I cant call them my local bike shop, but I will definitely be giving them more of my business in the future.I highly recommend Rubber Soul Bicycles.

I have been doing business with these guys for a long time. They are conscientious about good service. I had a special need road bike and they searched hard and produce the exact bike I was looking for. On top of that they found a great bike rack to accommodate my bike, everything works perfect. Sarah was super friendly and helpful! We never felt too pressured, or ignored. Driving by, we ended up deciding to stop and see some options for a new bike. They even let us bring the puppy in with us!We were given options for layaway, and even to put money down-and get a full refund if we changed our mind. In the end we were smitten by a new Specialized Diverge in the size we were looking for, and rode away happy on the same day. Only wish is that they’d be open every day.

This place was awesome. They actually had bikes right now white is rare. We ended up spending a little more than we wanted to but we are very happy with our purchase. We ended up buying 2 bikes. Last year bought a hybrid bike and the service was amazing.. Spent $1200Went back to buy another bike and the service was horrible and the owner was rude. Tried buying a Cannondale hybrid and asked him for a Military discount the owner stated that because of Covid 19 he wasnt doing Military discounts on the account he had so many people buying bikes.I was only asking for a Military discount on the accessories but the owner was rude about after the fact I was willing to purchase a $1000 bike?Bad business not honoring Vets..People dont do business with this shop there are too many other bike shops that would gladly honor Vets... Sunnyside Bike Shop was more than happy to give me a Military discount on the bike and accessories..

Purchased a bike online from them. Drove an hour and a half to pick it up only to be told they sold me a bike they didn’t have. Refund not coming for 11 days!!!!!!! Staff was not only rude, but told me they didn’t care that I was upset because they have people driving from Los Angles to buy bikes from them. I guess they already have enough customers 🤷🏼‍♀️

Consistently rude staff made me avoid this place for years. I went there three times only to be condescended to or ignored when I had a flat. Recently though, I needed a particular tire so I gave them a second chance. I wasn’t treated like trash this time, so I’m giving 2 stars. But I’d still recommend just about any other bike shop over this one.

My shopping experience was cool, however they didn’t have a lot of bmx choices, but I did test out the only bmx that they had, things worked good at the shop. As soon as I got home, I got back on the bmx and not even 15 mins, something with the chain stopped working causing the tires to mess up, something with the bolt being to tight. And I’d like to say that the problem I had yesterday shouldn’t have happened so quick, usually a problem that’ll happen later on. This is just my experience with the bmx I’ve purchased from Rubber Soul.

Called twice asking about repairs on my wife’s bike. Both times were told to bring it in and it would take 2-3 weeks. Brought it in today and a lady told me that they wouldn’t work on it because I didn’t buy it from them. They don’t have to worry about that from me now. I was going to buy one for me so I could ride too, but now will buy from somebody else.

I went in there with a skipping chain, I thought I had to buy a brand new one but it ended up being the fact that I didn’t put it together correctly, the guy that talked to me fixed my bike in less then 20 minutes and I am forever grateful PLEASE go here if you have any bike that needs repairs, it’s either a long waiting list or a simple solution to a simple problem, I was panicking and thought I would have to wait weeks and get new parts but the guy That worked with me amazed me and it still blows my mind how quickly he fixed a problem that I couldn’t fix within weeks of labor and a lot of google. Thank you and I 100% recommend this shop

My bike is my only transportation, so I was immensely grateful when they got it working properly. The sealed cartridge bottom bracket (Shimano BB-UN26, 68x127) which James installed works beautifully. I hope they are there for a long time.

They always have great deals and not to mention, I bought my beautiful D2 Trek Bike from here and luckily it was on sale. The shop is beautiful and they have just about everything you can imagine. Went into Rubber soul with my son today; from the moment I was greeted/welcomed. Staff was very helpful on knowledge since I’m a beginner. Just bought my new cycling Bike from Rubber Soul Bicycles 2 weeks ago. David helped me out a lot and he spent a lot of time talking to me and educating me about the different road bikes they have. He let me test drive a few and helped me get fitted right. We installed the water bottle cage on my bike, installed a new kickstand and he helped me get the right helmet and gloves. He had the guys in the service department put slime for the tires and tuned it up for me. Great Service and all the clothing, sunglasses, and protein they have in the shop is high quality.

Wanted a bike to ride to and from Fresno State and to run simple errands. Went here and was well taken care of! Salesman (sorry forgot his name), was super patient and kept reiterating that he wanted my bike to suit me, not just get me a bike that looked nice. Got a sweet deal on a hybrid bike and a lock. Had a great couple of days riding it, until the front tire went flat around 2 days later. I detached the front wheel and returned, where explained I’d only had the bike for a couple of days. The shop fixed the inner tube for me in minutes, and when I went up to pay for the repair at the front, they told me it was free! Awesome salespeople, free maintenance repairs for life, and super fast. Thank you guys.

This is the go to bike shop in the Fresno area. Trek and Specialized in the same store is unusual. Excellent staff in the sales and mechanical areas especially Pablo. Its a nice atmosphere overall. Plenty of parking with easy access from main roads. . There is even s great smoothie store close by for your enjoyment.

The shop carries a very impressive selection of items, pricing is excellent and the crew is outstanding.The mechanics have always done an great job on my repairs and maintenance at very fair pricing. When I needed a new saddle Rubber Soul loaned me several seats over a period of a month until I found the one that was just right. These guys have always taken care of my every cycling need.If you are in the market to buy a bike or have cycling questions then you should definitely pay them a visit. The staff is both very knowledgeable and friendly.

I cant say enough about these guys. I came in with a little knowledge and a lot of questions about e-bikes. Rich, the owner knew I had no intention of buying one that particular day, but introduced me to Ernesto, their resident e-bike guru who set up a number of bikes for me to test ride. He spent time showing me the basics and pointed out those features that set different makes and models apart.I mulled things over and came in the next week, having decided on the Trek Verve +. Pablo, who helped me on that visit could not have been nicer. He spent a lot of time with me, getting the setup just right, watching me ride and giving me pointers.It can be intimidating shopping at an enthusiasts store when you are so rusty at riding that just mounting and dismounting is a struggle. These are people that love cycling. Its obvious that they want you to love it too. They very quickly put me at ease.Great shop!

My experience at this wonderful shop is always positive.. bought a bike almost a year ago and they have unlimited check up /tune up . The people there are always helpful & honest!.They know exactly what to do if you have issues with your bike. I would definitely recommend this place. Theyre the best!

I purchased my road bike, mountain bike, & Garmin 810 from them. The staff is extremely knowledge & trustworthy. When I was a newbie cyclist, with no knowledge or experience with bikes, they were extremely patient and explained everything I needed to know about purchasing a bike. I purchased a Trek enduro mtb from Rich over at Rubber Soul. Rich is very welcoming and his prices are fair. I love the bike, and in the past year I have continued to shop their for parts and accessories. However, in my experience, the service center has not been organized. Multiple times I have brought my bike in for specific repairs and when I picked up my bike the requested repairs were not completed. The retail side of Rubber Soul is fantastic, but the service center has pushed me to seek out an alternative shop.

Warning novice here keep in mind. I walked in to three people at the counter the nice girl welcomed me with a smile asking what can I help you with. I asked about bike tubes she was speaking to me when one of the men cut here off rude like with the question if it where a schrader or presta stem. I said I have no idea. He roles his eyes then explains the difference like I was stupid. Then he went back to working on the computer like I wasnt there and didnt offer any help further on bike tubes and the girl was busy so I walked around the store for a few minutes then decided to leave. Plenty of other bike stores around that have better people skills.

Their service department is great, fair pricing, on time repairs, nice people. I have nothing but nice things to say about this store, 100% satisfied. 15 year old bike rides like brand new!

Overall the two times Ive been here they seem pretty nice albeit pricey for minor things like tubes. Most likely they didnt have any budget options at the time. Ill definitely put this place in consideration when Im looking to upgrade.

Day savers, for sure!!! Freehub seized during my ride, but these guys dug deep into a bin of used hubs to find a suitable salvaged/replacement freehub body... That effort allowed me to get back on the trail for an amazing 30-mile adventure. A solid fix 👍. ***This was customer service above and beyond for an out-of-towner... Not surprisingly, the other riders (locals) that I encountered along the river trail all said that this was their go-to bike shop 👍... Thanks, Rubber Soul, for saving the day!!!

I Purchased a bike from a coworker. I took it in to be serviced and gone over to make it street ready. I purchased a new seat and a rear fender as well as the pimp out my bike and make it road ready service. Cost me 120.000 . I came by to pay for it took 20 min for someone to wait on me to take mymoney. Then went to the cage where it was locked up. Well it was going to be awhile getting it out of that thing so i told them i would be happy to come back. So get it home put it in the garage take it out. The back tire is flat. Flat. Flat. Flat. Seriously 120.0 and had to bum a pump off of my neighbor. I find that un cool.

Rubber Soul is a great shop the staff is very knowledgeable regarding their bicycles and accessories. I want experienced cyclist that can relate to my riding experiences and give me answers based on the same or a simular experience . Rich and company have it going on! I was in the market for a Cervelo tri bike. They didnt know me from Adam but I was treated to a 3 hour experience of preliminary set up and fitting.
