***Update: they finally sent a new steering box that works. Thank you.I’ve bought all kinds of parts from them as they are a viable option for building a solid rig with no issues.... axle housings etc.... And I finally got around to installing the steering box which failed the first trip out to Johnson Valley. Had fluid pouring out of a fitting even before hitting a trail. Okay fine it happens. Bought a new hose and issue persists. Call and send the box back for warranty which I had to pay for shipping back. They tell me it will be a two - three day turn around after they receive it and I expressed my concerns due to king of the hammers coming up and I need my rig 100%. Just called again for an update, they tell me they haven’t even tested the steering box yet because their tester guy is out all week. I’ve stood up for trail gear over and over and now I’ve experienced first hand why people have issues with them. Now my concern is they’ll send the same box back which I know is defective and they’ve even admitted it’s a known issue and I won’t have a working steering box in time. The principle is I’ve spent a lot of money at Trail Gear and this kind of support is a huge failure considering people are putting faith into their parts before big events such as KOH. Do you care about the little guys and the off roading community or are you just another mass production company who’s only concern is the money?

Trail Gear Purchased AllPro Off Road Recently. Over a year ago I contracted All-Pro to build a steel roof rack for me. I made the mistake of paying in full. They never sent the rack and never re-funded my money. I emailed back and fourth with them for months. They agreed the money was owed, claimed to be sending a check, than sent a check for the wrong amount, which bounced, claimed a new check was coming and than stopped replying to my messages all together. I spoke to a representative at Trail Gear after I found out they had purchased All Pro. They initially and rightfully asked for the details, so I sent over them emails and order numbers and everything I had. They claimed to understand and see the evidence. Thats when they stopped taking my calls. When I do get someone on the phone, they just say the boss is not interested in speaking, or they will call me back. They never have. All Pro, and now Trail gear stole 724.00 dollars from me. Took my money and provided nothing, not even a call back. Do not do business with them. Do not let them steal your money.

I have ordered an sas kit b, dual cases, frame boxes, etc and have spent around $7,000 with trail gear. I have a twin stick setup from there that the boot ripped on. I called to see if they could send me another one at a discount, not free, but just a discount since it ripped. They told me no. That I would need to buy another at full price. And this was after getting ignored on email and having to call. Really poor customer service to a loyal, referring, money spending customer. Im ripping all the trail gear stickers off my built tacoma today, and everyone knows my truck. Never going to spend a dollar with them again, nor will anyone in my group. Its no wonder the off-road community is dying with companies like this around.
