Been going here for a few years now. I like to tinker with broken lawn equipment to make a few bucks. Been doing that forever. Place is easy to get to. About 20 minutes south of i-80 and La Grange Rd. Minutes from RT 30. Gives me an excuse to also to Orland like Trader Joes ect.Place is clean and has lots and lost of parts and equipement.Thier a little drive, toll and some gas I cant go out thier for little things ( they do do sell on eBay and maybe on thier site ?). I do the spring sale and stock up on things that are on sale and I can use.Like air filter and fuel filters. Even thier lawn products like weed killer are a good deal. Love thier open house days.Besides spring sales, they do have used stuff actions but I have heard stories where the prices go to high and too many people bidding so I never bothered. Listed on thier site.I like going in person as I can see what the latest models are like, current pricing and make sure I get the correct part. Last visit visit I ordered fuel line. So went back days later to pick up and guy gave me a tiny box that rattled. I said this is a pull starter for a motor not fuel line. Then after 10 minutes he figured it out. Then the price was wrong from the quoted price days ago but he fixed it after some time. Thats why I go in person.Good place and good people.

Very polite and helpful staff. Large selection of landscape equipment for the home owner and small business owners. Large selection of lawn mowers and snow blowers. Tree cutting equipment and safety equipment available, nice selection. I was looking for an electric generator, they didnt have what I was looking for but directed me to another place. Really a great place for landscape equipment. Clean store and staff focused on customer service. Check them out.

I visited the Russo Store today and must say that I was totally amazed at the level of hospitality I received. From the time I exited my car until the time I returned, there was someone seeking to assist me or inquired as to what I needed. They gave sound recommendations and advised me as to how to save money. Incredible.

Guys in the back loading bags very unprofessional. Guy seemed upset about us asking questions and started using foul language. Customer service seems to gradually decline. Very disappointed.

Dropped off my Toro ZTM for a basic tune-up and a hydraulic oil and filter change. I usually do the work myself however an injury prevented that this time around. I inquired as to an estimate of cost and the clerk informed me that it would be around $300. She added that they would call if it was to be more. Finally, she said that they were a bit backed up and it would be a week to ten days before they would have my tractor ready. At about the two week mark I phoned to see how things were progressing. The clerk stated that they had left a message on my answering machine for me to call them. Well, that never happened-I checked messages and caller log and verified that no calls from Russo’s had been received. The reason that they supposedly called was to get my ok as the costs of requested maintenance would be $450+ !!! I asked why so much more than their original estimate and she responded that no estimate was given; the $300 she previously stated was a ballpark not an estimate! When I attempted to explain that a “ballpark figure” was indeed an estimate the clerk, she vehemently denied that fact. When I rephrased my question to inquire why their $300 ballpark differed so greatly from the $450 that I was now potentially confronted with, she stated that the mechanic “looked “ at the tractor and said it would take more time. Are you kidding me! They have a mechanic who need only look at a piece of machinery and tell how long it will take to do just regular maintenance! I asked to speak to the clerk’s manager and he also stated that a ballpark figure was not an estimate. Unbelievable! I asked that they just do a blade sharpening and a hydraulic oil and filter change. I agreed that I would also purchase the parts to do the tune-up. When I picked up the tractor I reviewed the invoice and discovered that they were charging me for items not received. Sneaky, sneaky, shame on them.I brought the tractor home and cut grass for the first time; noting a ragged cutting job I inspected the blades and sure enough that had not been sharpened. What a shoddy operation!

Great place! Short story... this was the second local dealer visited to repair (pull cord wouldnt retract)my newly purchased blower. I only used it once. The first place said three weeks. Russo informed me the warranty may not cover the repair but to give them 15 minutes to look it over. Ten minutes later Im driving home with a repaired blower...no charge! Theyre my go to place for lawn equipment! Hands down!

I purchased a snow blower from Russo in Frankfort 2 months ago.After our first snow fall and using it 1 time , I realized it was not big enough . Russo looked at the snow blower to make sure it was still in like new condition and gave me a full refund. They really do have great customer service from start to finish. I would highly recommend them .Special thanks to Levi he was very helpful and patient.

Russo is my best for small equipment repair. My first experience with a Husky pull rope, was to fix it while I waited. I just picked up my Stihl saw which was tuned up and returned in DAYS! Burris would keep my equipment for weeks and more- but now, never again!

Sad to say I’m a African American female and i went to Russo in Frankfort when i got There when i walked in NOT ONE person asked me if i needed help with not one single thing and it sad to say they will miss out on a lot of money because i went There to check and possibly purchase snow rator that cost 15,000 but since no one ask me for help i went to the counter got what i needed As i was Paying for my purchase i asked About a yard card because i shop There very often getting a yard card might benefit me at some point or time the lady tells me (leave your email and they will THINK about EMAILING you a application for a yard card ) but what’s to think about i wrote it down haven’t received a email yet but also after i left did the young lady throw the piece of paper in the trash OF course because they discriminated and judge me thinking i was BROKE so can Russo’s tell me what that means that I’m African American woman that you guys think my credit isnt good enough for a card or i wont Qualify or is because I’m African American you guys don’t want African Americans to have your cards . I’m wasting there time not sure but FYI i never Got the email also i know With out a shadow of a doubt i wouldnt Have got denied my credit score is 800.but will i shop There NO never again would i ever Get a yard card from them nooo because they looked at my skin when credentials matches anyone else i couldnt Believe i was Treated with such ignorance

We purchased two new lawn mowers from here, one we loved so much we bought another as a gift. The price couldnt be beat and they do everything- get the mower ready to use and even put it in your car for you. For any of our lawn care products- we wont go anywhere else. Everyone their is very pleasant to talk to. They actually like what they do- hard to find these days.

Had my hustler lawn mower there for service. I told them I would like a tune up, blades sharpened, and clean under the mower deck. They were very polite, called me back with a price that I agreed to. When I picked up the mower the price was 75 dollars more which we did get taken care of. After loading the mower on my trailer I noticed the blades were sharpened but the underneath of the deck still had clumps of grass on it. So I went back in and they told me they dont do that but I could bring it back in and they would scrap it. I already had it on my trailer so I sano thank you. Looking at my invoice it has on there to clean under DECK!

Spoke with Joe & he made sure that the parts were a direct fit & beat the price of a belt I was going to order on-line as well. I got 2 calls on today 2/12/19 stating that a part I ordered came in so I drove from downtown chicago to Frankfort (over 40miles) to pick up the part. After payment was made I was told the part wasnt in I stopped working and fought through traffic to get to a part that I had been waiting on only to be told it wasnt there i asked several times if I could be accommodated for this big mishap on their behalf and all I got was a sorry sir and a refund. No 10%off no well sir well do the labor you pay for your part or anything. The customer service was extremely bad as the employees walked around with attitudes as if I was in the wrong. This place has lost a loyal customer.

NOW MY POST STANDS, AS I SAID, I left one star because zero stars was not an option and its the PARTS AND REPAIR that made my review this way! Thr gentleman with strawberry spots on his face at parts and repair was RUDE, SEXIST, TALKED DOWN to me, LIED to me, and pretty much told me to stop bugging them! Its been 4 months, ILL BUG AS MUCH AS I WANT! What happened to me and why I feel this way is a semi lengthy story, but I suggest you read it before you take any equipment for repair if you are a woman!! The gentleman and young lady and sales counter were awesome, they were very nice and very helpful. Im not sure what the other counter was that printed my return ticket, but the gentleman that greeted me and pointed me in the right direction was very nice as well. However, PARTS OR REPAIR (Im not sure which its called) IS HORRIBLE WORSE SERVICE IVE RECEIVED!!!!!!! So, I have an industrial riding mower that loves to break down, Russo offered a great price would come pick it up and repair it, and its not too far from home, GREAT RIGHT? WRONG!!! They picked it up, and a week later still heard nothing, Ok o biggie theyre fixing it, a month later we call them and are told it just so happens the technician will be tending to our mower that day (cough cough BS cough cough) two weeks after that phone call still nothing, so I go in to return the belts that were bought for that mower (because I obviously wont need them any time soon) and returned them no problem received great service, then I ask about my mower he says, let me look it up, o we have had it for quite a while, Ill send you over to repair to speak with them I go to repair or whatever, the first gentlemen said he cant find anything other then they have it in the computer, cant find paperwork, and asks the guy next to him if its done, (I am not one to point out flaws but I was unable to get his name) the guy next to him had strawberry spots on his face very rudely says no then takes over speaking, he looks in the computer says the part that your mower required just came in (mind you, we were told if anything needed to be ordered they would call to check with us first) so the technician can now Begin work, and when its ready WE WILL CALL YOU in a very rude manner! I leave and tell my husband, he calls a week later and is told the technician just looked at it (but we were told he looked at it weeks ago) and they need permission to order the part needed. WAIT WAIT DIDNT THEY TELL ME IT WAS ALREADY ORDERED AND IN???? Just big run around, and its been about for months now, AND STILL NO MOWER JUST LIES AND THE RUN AROUND!!!!! I dont know whats been done to my mower, what needs to be done, whats wrong with it, I know nothing except theyve had it since the beginning of summer its now October and I spent the summer mowing my lawn with a push mower, and MY YARDS SO BIG IT TAKES FOUR DAYS TO MOW IT THAT WAY!

Dropped off my chainsaw to get a repair estimate. The estimate, which I had to pay $35 for, took three weeks only to find out the repair is more costly than a new saw. I decided not to authorize the repair. When I picked the saw, they didnt even reassemble the unit. I essentially picked up a box of parts.Very disappointed with the service. No one could tell me why this took so long or why Im getting the saw back disassembled.

I purchased an Ariens snow blower last Weds from Russo Power Equip, and I must say I was SHOCKED with the EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE I received!! I felt like I had stepped into another time zone, and I know this sounds crazy, but I have not received such wonderful customer service in years!! This refers to the saleman, the cashier, ROSIE, lovely young lady and the last salesman/serviceman, Jonathan. They entered my warranty into the Arien system, made sure the snow blower was running, had the proper amount of oil and even filled it with gas along with hands on detailed instructions on how to use it on my first time. They also said if I had any issues they would pick it up from MY HOUSE!!! I was shocked and pleased and would recommend this company to everyone!! Great job Russos!!!
