Rude stuff at the Farmacy and the cashiers. Just one person has always been courteous and willing to help customer. I don’t know her name but she looks Russian but I might be wrong. Anywho, this cvs is near my apt but I think I’ll just drive to Walgreens on El Camino. I rather avoid this store. Do not recommend.

Avoid this place for flu shot. Waited more than 45 minutes for a flu shot despite getting an appointment in advance. Still sitting and waiting - its not well run for sure...

I kept pushing the call staff button and waited for 20 minutes for a staff to come and open the locker so I can get a toothpaste. The staff passed me several times but ignored me for no reason. They were not busy at that moment at all, not sure what went through his mind. Pathetic.

At this location the cashiers try to push you to get the CVS CarePass subscription. Not sure if other locations do it as well or not though. Other than that, just a regular CVS. Their prices are higher than Safeway next to them on most products. Staff at the Pharmacy though is very friendly and helpful everhtike I have been here.

Do not accept ANY offer at the cashier register. They have this thing in which they charge you 5$ every month for 10$ or 20% back (only if you come and buy something).

The obnoxious cashier claiming to be the manager forcefully pressured me and aggressively pushed me to sign up for the CVS program and told me, You dont understand. when I refused to sign up for it. She kept insisting I would get $10 off every time I came and bought anything, even if under $10, but then she showed that it would instead be only $5 savings when subtracting $5 from it. The terms and conditions showed that there would be a $5 charge each month, but since I rarely ever go to CVS, it just wasnt worth it for me. I explained this to the cashier, who insisted that the $5 charge each month wouldnt be a loss for me, which made no sense considering months often go by without my going to CVS. She told me she already had 5000 customers sign up for this, which was a dubious claim considering how few customers there are at that CVS and how unlikely it would be they would allow themselves to be coerced by her into signing up for this program. This horrible experience led me to not buy anything from that CVS and convinced me to not go back to that CVS.

Highly suggested you avoid the Pharmacy here for flu shot.I got appointments at 11:45, arrived 5mins ahead. Then told me Waite for 15 mins for call of my name. Asked me had to Waite nearby waiting area inside. Waited for 45 mins so far. Still waiting. They won’t call me when they are ready. So many people come and go in here, since the waiting area is indoor, now I am really concerning I might get COVID for this long risky Pharmacy visit.The minute clinic in same location is far more better the Pharmacy.If you want a flu shot, avoid the Pharmacy.Updates:Took me 80 minutes for a 10 seconds flu shot.Usually I won’t mind waiting, during pandemic, this is unacceptable.PS: my case was a bad luck one. By the time I realized I had to stay for long it was already 45mins waiting time. So I stayed for longer to avoid another visit for flu shot.Most of visited should be within 30mins with appointment set ahead. I do see there are some serious management issues there. A flu shot took less then 1 mins + 10 mins most paperwork. They are not take pandemic seriously in this location. Otherwise they should care about waiting time on-site and make some improvement to reduce it. Apparently they are not.

Please AVOID this store at all costs. They will open a CarePass membership account WITHOUT informing you the details. and that your credit card will start getting charged monthly. The agents at the front desk CHEAT you. Please be careful.

Rude and careless cashier. There was promotion for nutrient selection, limited to CVS membership owner. To get the discount I decided to apply for the membership. He asked me to write down name and email address, I misheard as mail address. While I was writing down the mail address, he rudely grabbed paper and wrote “EMAIL_______” and handed it back to me with an upset face. This just ruins a wonderful day of mine after Thanks giving.

Consistently inconsistent. Cashiers are hit and miss. If you call the pharmacy to ask a question, they will punt you around like a football and you will waste your time on hold. If there was any other pharmacy close to me, i would never step a foot in this store. I feel bad writing this comment because there are a few great people working there but the majority are not good.

I was there to return 2 items yesterday . I told cashier I have return, he purchased my items again. When I told him he made a mistake he got mad. I said I need to see a manager. manny the manager was more confused and angry than him .Long arguments and no professional and polite manner.I wanted to see store manager they told me he is on lunch.

Had the most efficient, pleasant quick pharmacy experience in CA. We are visiting and I lost the pills for my pet. We had our vet call in the prescription to here. It was ready in less than 10 minutes after we arrived.

I probably shop at CVS for over a decade several times a week and never had any complaints but this CVS in foster city was a nightmare. I work in customer service as well, I know it can get stressful but I was so poorly treated like never before ! How can they put someone at the cash register on his first day all by himself !? All my transactions were messed up - ecbs werent correctly deducted. Received a attitude like I dont know what Im talking about ! Missing receipts from transactions. Main manager was decent but mentioned he is new as well and doesnt know much yet how everything works. Lisa I believe she mumbled her name was the absolute worst of all. Her attitude was over the top and she treated me like Im an idiot and need to leave the store. I will call corporate tomorrow - since my refund was messed up as well and I dont have the receipt ! They need to get them proper training and teach them some basics on customer service ! I definitely wont go back to this locations ...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD GOES TO ANDY S. AT FOSTER CITY LOCATION. I am a everyday customer at the cvs in foster city and today I had the hands down worst experience with ANDY S., this guy was fighting with me and bickering with me about a coupon I got the day before. VERY RUDE AND SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Made me feel very uncomfortable around other people in line and was denying of my coupon. Everytime I go in and get stuck with this guy at the check out its the worst experience. Will be contacting HR ASAP. He does not belong working with people. Asain man in his 40s cross eyed and glasses beware, much rather go to safe way then deal with him. Caused a scene for no reason and me so upset and embarrassed

One if the worst pharmacies ever!! I have to use this pharmacy for last 3 years because my other option does not have two of my meds as an option, which is Target. They are at least friendly at Target. At this CVS i hear, well I didnt do it maam so I cant help you and after waiting for 30 minutes in one line you then need to stand in the other line to find out what the mistake is a then IF they get it fixed you get to stand in the pick up line again. When anything goes wrong the staff have clearly been trained to blame anyone but themselves for the error and most certainly dont offer to help fix it. Make the patient do all the leg work. From management, pharmacists to techs. They are either rude or powerless. Customer service training clearly is absent here. I have now waited two days, and 5 conversations later they still cant fill my script because they dont have the resources to call Target and get the prescription according to pharmacist on staff tonight at cvs and target wont call cvs either. So I am out of luck!Is this really how we treat people?? I would normally not post this but it has been 3 years of consistently lousy service and I have reached the end. I have no choice however and will still need to get my meds there, I am just so done being pleasant with them.
