I have been coming here less and less and Im reminded why almost every time I go. The fact that the almost never have more than 1 cashier is bad enough but on top of that, the self-checkout stations look like they havent been cleaned in a year 🤮

Poor selection and service compared to the basswood location, moved in the area and was hoping for the same quality since its still a kroger but sadly no.

Im still in customer service line. I purchased my items at 1:49pm. Its 2:11pm. Theres 5 people ahead of me at this point. The wrong price was on shelf for the Montreal steak seasoning.. I realized after paying $40 for my items that I was over priced.The nice girl at self checkout said I needed to take picture of shelf price and go to customer service.I asked the lady on register 5 by customer service if her STORE DIRECTOR had someone to help the nice lady at customer service. She said no. And sorry. . Its 2:15pm. Im still in line to correct this $7.79 mistake .I always come here because it is a nice store but today wasntba good visit.

Absolutely my go to store! They have everything you need from fresh cut flowers/party supplies/balloons to fresh fruit, they have a delicious hot deli, FRESH SUSHI ( like it’s made right before your eyes-fresh) Kroger also makes their own home made tortillas! If u haven’t tried you need to I swear they are soo good! White/wheat, corn/flour! YUM! Omg their bakery is the sh!+ ... think of Kroger next for your next celebration! also cater! Their Butchers’ are awesome! Always available to gladly chop up what you need. If u frequently shop this Kroger then u will understand when I say, “Kroger’s Makeup Aisle” point blank period! Organized & up to par! I can go on for days bragging about how out much Kroger has came up these last few years. Workers are so cool everyone is friendly the shopping carts run smooth and don’t squeak... I’m telling ya my friend EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT!! Thumbs all the way up! 10 stars if it were possible : )) happy to shop here

I love this location because its one of the few grocery chains left in DFW that stays open until morning hours. Aside from that, it also offers some international foods unavailable at other chains like Walmart, and the employees are mostly kind! The female worker during evening/night shifts deserves a raise.

This is Bailey. Im 10. This store was immaculate. Which means free from flaws and mistakes. HOWEVER, the Claw machine was A DOLLAR. Im NOT a TRILLIONAIRE! WHAT ARE THEY THINKING! bought some Bananas though.

I’ve had a couple so so experiences here. Today I had a lot of items but no wait. Traci got my items scanned and and someone else bagged so I was out easily.

Your refusal to address the line that stretches throughout the store because you only want to have the self checkout open is honestly ridiculous . This has become a common occurrence no matter the time of day . You have 6 self checkouts but a line 10long going down the aisles!!! If I need to get in and out don’t shop here.

Terrible poor awful customer service. Lazy employees RUDEST OF THEM ALL WAS SHELBY & evening manager “Will”! Wouldn’t even make time or effort to help with a payment situation. Never coming here in the evening. I always come in the mornings and everyone is so friendly and energetic! Complete opposite of what I just experienced! Really dissatisfied & disappointed. I was ripped off at the checkout last night, didnt check the receipt till I got home. Customers, be sure to watch for these sneaky overcharges! The prices also have increased quite a bit lately. Ive always chosen this store over the others due to the lower prices but now its a lot like Albertsons, I might as well be shopping across the road! Rumor is that Kroger is now supporting a few organizations at the customers expense. Thats most likely the reason for the price hikes. Also, Ive noticed theres no survey at the bottom of the receipts anymore to add fuel points. That too must be to fund the new organizations. Im really disappointed in Kroger. Ive always been a loyal customer. Not anymore.

Terrible long lines for checkout. I wont be stopping at this store again.

This store has gone to the dogs. This is the 3rd time I have been in here and only 2 lines open.. 6-7 people deep waiting to check out. The self check outs are backed up as well.. Why they contue to let this happen is beyond me

Ive had such a bad experience at the pharmacy there. I went to pick my daughters medicines, and they left standing for about five minutes before they attended to me. A few moments later, a white middle-age man came for the same reason and within seconds, he was taken care of. I dont understand why these people are giving black people sloppy customer service when just like white people, were spending our hard earned money?

This store is a disaster! I couldnt find everything I needed. The herbs I needed to buy expired tomorrow, so I didnt purchase them. They also looked disgusting. The nuts are not on the baking aisle, instead I only found the Kroger brand on a random display, (which is impossible because there are displays everywhere). The meat section smells absolutely revolting and does not give me confidence in the meat I did find. Their turkey selection was terrible. The set up is so bizarre, the aisles are too narrow and unsafe during a pandemic, and one of the staff was only wearing a face shield and got way too close to me, even after I kept backing up. Now I have to go to another store since this place was such a nightmare.

I dont like self check out, and there was only self check out available, there wasnt any one else in the store trained to run the register 👎

This is the filthiest Kroger I have ever been to. The registers are gross! they dont look like theyve been wiped down in forever. Theres food stuck down in the cracks theres muck all over the keypad. Management needs to take a look at this especially in the days that we are in and get it cleaned up!

Been shopping here off and on for 7+ years and it’s generally a less than desirable experience. Routinely out of sale item stock. You can find some great deals in the clearance section but have seen many items beyond the expiration date. Don’t expect too much from the cashiers- some are friendly but that seems rare. The parking slots are SO NARROW. I’m thin and I have to snake my way out of my coupe to avoid hitting the car parked next to me. Best to park further away.

Pickup is not good. I have had multiple problems with doing their pickup service. Because of masks I can’t be in a store long. I have been doing pickup. They have over charge me multiple times. This last time they charged me for 2 pounds of deli meat and only gave me one. I got 2 roasts and was charged twice for the most expensive one. I usually go in for the credit on the mix up, but I didn’t have time and called. They didn’t get back to me about it. Today I find that they credited me for the one pound of deli, but not the almost 3.00 for the second roast. The last time they messed up for over 20.00 and lied to me about the credit. Another time I waited for 30 mins for them to bring out my food. Just very disappointed.

DANGEROUS PARKING LOT. My friend was just approached by a group of kids/teens and one adult asking for money who then pulled knives in her and chased her down in the parking lot. She barely made it to her car and barely got away. DO NOT walk alone. Also absolutely no lights where on in the parking lot. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS

Hispanic lady named Nancy is super sweet and helpful everytime you see her. She works as cashier at the self checkout. I wish I could have her personality. She is a great example to how we should all treat eachother. Thank you Nancy!!!

I want to give a shout-out to Kroger’s employees on Western Center and Beach. Some of there employees have work 12 hour shift and came in on there day off!! I want to thank you for your Professionalism and caring for this country. Your hard work has not been a notice.God Bless the Kroger Family.

Seems like Sundays is a bad day to shop and ask questions. I went to store to get steaks for Memorial Day, and could not as ask a question, without ladys working the meat department saying, you can only take two. That was not my question, my question simply was to as why two of the same steaks are priced differently. So because one is thinner than the other, its $1 more, are they considered the same steak? Well, we asked the question and were told that because the more expensive one is not listed as the limit two, then we could take more of the expensive one. Well, cashier didnt think so, and obviously didnt get the memo and called the manager. Store manager was clear he was the store manager and said, I am the store manager and you can only take one. He took one of the meats, the one I wanted, and left. He obviously hasnt or wasnt told either of the memo. Needless to say, the lack of customer service and because of the willingness to help, all the items were left so the manager can also pick those up and take back. Ive personally been inside a Kroger 2 times since relocating to this area and will NEVER SHOP THIS OR ANY OTHER KROGER!

Its cold and rainy and the only person they have collecting shopping carts is an elderly woman do they not have enough staff to allow us to even have a shopping cart to shop with? And on top of that why is it being cold and rainy that they have an elderly woman doing that job?

Very friendly....even with the mask order the employees are working hard to get people in and out in a quick efficient way...

Dont live in this neighborhood (I was visiting relatives) and just needed a few items. Wonderful store. Clean, well-organized, well stocked. My Kroger near my house isnt nearly as good.

This location is usually clean and well-stocked. In addition, the prices are reasonable when you take into consideration that this is a full service supermarket. One clerk seemed to become annoyed and terse when I questioned a price on an item, but I was correct and she did resolve the issue.

Worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing at any Kroger ever. Cashier didnt so much as greet or acknowledge I was even there until she had to announce my total. Apalling. This location should have been closed instead of the one in Haltom City at Broadway and 377. Those employees displayed outstanding service levels 100% of the time.

This Kroger is in the perfect location it is right down the street from my house so I waste no time getting what I need when I need it. I also love the ladies who help me pick up my western union they’re always so nice to me

Seems like the things we enjoy buying are slowly disappearing. A particular style pizza, a certain flavor of pasta, certain frozen goods are always out of stock, and to top it off, parking spots are ENTIRELY TOO SMALL. Ask anyone else that shops there, theyll know what Im talking about. Ive watched Managers scold employees in front of customers, and prices are on the rise. Ill still shop there for the produce but thats about it.

Store is great but the freaking parking spaces are painted too damn close together!

If I could give the store a zero I would I was returning two packs of rotten chicken Stephanie directed me to stand in line at the customer service counter which is fine however after 15 minutes I asked her was there anyone else working that could help the person already there she said no that the girl went home and continue to do what she was doing after 45 minutes of standing in the line with rotten chicken smelling rotten chicken should I say I get to the front of the counter Stephanie then decide shes going to get on the register but complain because there should be other another person up here with Norma...Norma was sweet she was patient she was kind and she understood no one should have to stand in a line for 45 minutes smelling rotten chicken so now that Im officially nauseated I dont think anyone should ever buy meat from there go there or expect any type of timely professional or adequate customer service. Krogers I will never return department Im the calling district manager and store manager completely unacceptable but thank you norma for being so sweet.

Awesome store, but terrible customer service from Jody at the gas station. It was freezing out and dark, I was trying to pay with cash and the box but no one was there. As I walked back to my car I saw her walking, oh so slowly, away from a van parked across the street. As she saw me waiting she glared at me as if I did something wrong, then went on to give attitude when I asked to get gas on my pump. Returned to my car and saw the same thing happen to another customer. I get that it might be boring in a box, but there’s no need to give unneeded attitude.

Just a bad experience overall. 2x that I have shopped here at this store on Western Centerbwith same experience. Wont be here again. I love Kroger! A lot of the Kroger brand food is pretty good and they have a great selection. Im a big fan of their rewards programs and discounts.

I love this Kroger. I wish they had a working water dispenser, but otherwise this Kroger is fantastic and full of wonderful people. Stephen and Jimmy did a great job helping me with a particularly large item today. If you are in the area, this Kroger is definitely the best choice for your shopping needs.

Decent but its crowded sometimes

The staff I dealt with tonight was terrible!! I had 2 other customers in front of me at check out. The cashier decided it was a good use of her time to talk to other workers instead of checking us out. She kept turning around and talking while we are trying to check out.Her phone rang and the register and when she answered she said “who is this?!” In the rudest tone I have ever heard.This is not the way your workers should be acting when you have paying customers trying to check out. Completely unprofessional!!

This stores been on the heavy decline since late December, when they fired their front end manager for doing the right thing and getting a shoplifters license plate. Apparently that was against company policy so now the front end is always short cashiers. Its funny how the mornings / late nights are staffed proper but the busy parts of the day are always short after they fired em. Id recommend a different store. One with a less amount of urban customers who like to deal drugs in the parking lot.

Any real steak eater knows what to look for in a steak. I knows its not the employees fault but they are ordered by management to put large stickers over the ribeyes so you cant see what you are buying. I mean, should I just open the package to see what they look liked? Why even use see through plastic if youre just going to cover it up?

LOVE this Kroger. Jackie in the meat dept is amazing. Really everyone there is amazing but my son is 3 & always has to stop & say hi to Jackie. Store is clean, organized & very friendly.

Any problems I have ever had this store has always made sure to fix them. the customer service is great also! I definitely prefer this place over walmart any day! There is a huge variety of food and organic produce as well as great prices and everything is fresh fresh fresh!

I still find it dark and quite honestly I have not been here in a couple years because the last time I got chased out cuz they thought I stole groceries just because they werent paying attention to their self checkout saying correctly. And so I havent been back because they even slammed me with the buggy the little like in 19 year old kid dead. While I was 6 months pregnant and had a small toddler in the shopping cart with all of my completely paid for groceries

A nice clean storeThis is an older Kroger, so it is not as large as the new Kroger supercenters. I like it because I can get everything I want without walking more than a mile in the store. They keep their produce and meat sections clean and fresh. The milk section has nothing past expiration date, and a large selection of products at reasonable prices. Their checkout lines go quickly and they have several self check out stations that all work.

Cathy at the self check out station was very displeased that I asked a question about a digital coupon. She did not offer any assistance, only that the coupon is in the app. She stared blankly at me and ultimately I just paid because the line was starting to build up. Please offer Cathy a class in customer service.

Worst experience at a Kroger to date today. Ordered on click list waited an hour while the staff brought others orders telling me mine would be out shortly. Never arrived I just left and called for a refund.

Kroger is my first choice among grocery stores. Love the selection and Kroger membership perks. All the stores are thoughtfully laid out and employees are generally eager to help and provide great customer service.

This is the worst Kroger I have ever been to. The parking places are WAY TOO SMALL. They are very poor at restocking items that are popular. The management absolutely does not care what the customer likes, or doesn’t like. A wretched example for a once fine grocery store. Very SAD. NOW they will charge an additional fee for getting cash back when you buy your groceries. This is the only store that charges this extra greedy fee. SHAME ON YOU.

Helpful staff - easily found throughout store. Managers specials in meat case, fresh baked and deli goods. Manager is a very nice man who goes out of his way to assist you. Low Pharmacy prices.

Friendly staff . I was looking for large elbows and they were out of stock . (I came late at night). However an associate named Charles looked for this item on the pallet of items that will be restocked tonight & found them for me . I really appreciate that also the guy in the meat department was informative & helpful as well. The cashier however was rude & didn’t speak at all .

Apparently they are charging $.50 to get cash back now. I know, not a huge deal, but then it didnt give me cash back and still charged $.50. Still not a huge deal, but when the helper just dismisses me with a shrug and says I have to go talk to customer service for my $.50 refund, which I dont care about. I just wanted to know if I got charged for the cash back, so he didnt even bother with my question. Oh well, rant over. Didnt really expect too much, maybe just some common courtesy.

This store is always messy and disorganized. The stationary aisle was completely blocked today and I was ordered to walk all the way around, down another aisle and back for access. I am handicapped! Why can you not block aisles at night after closing! And, can you train polite employees? More importantly, can you organize this store?????!!

I like your store it is very nice. Unfortunately I had oneb bad experience with a deli worker. She had a Russian/eastern block accent. I asked for Colby cheese. She was too lazy to get it for me . She pointed me in the direction of cheeses that were already made which were not Colby cheese. I worked an eight hour shift and drove 41 miles to go home. I am no mood to argue with anyone . Couldn’t she just simply get what I wanted. It was there in stock. The customer is always right in the United States. She needs to know that, and not sales pitch me for a product I didn’t want. I don’t mean to be bitchy but I didn’t get what I wanted. Thank you for your time.

KrogerMy mom went to her neighborhood Kroger. Shes a regular customer. This Kroger became a safe place for us after my car accident because it was easy access, down the street, and the staff was always kind.Anyway, my mom was checking out when a cashier turned off her light on Reg 12 and the cashier told her (in a snippy rude) to go to another line, cool, cashiers take breaks so she didnt sweat it.So my mom hopped over to the next line (Reg 11) and proceeded checking out when....she noticed the cashier on Reg 12 was checking out more customers....weird. So my mom asked another cashier who the manager was...because honestly that was pretty rude.THE CASHIER WHO TOLD MY MOM TO GO TO ANOTHER LINE WAS THE MANAGER.So this manager checks out her final people and goes to customer service and my mom followed to speak to her. (My mom coming from a customer service background, she wanted to give some feedback)My moms English is choppy at times but gets her point out. This manager proceeded to just look at my mom like a straight weirdo. So my mom asked are you racist? and she said YES. IM RACISTWhich triggered a few more things:She told my mom to leave after making that wicked statement.She threatened to call the cops after my mom said she no because she was trying to grasp the situation.She then started accusing my mother of stealing items that were already in her cart, AND PAID FOR.Then LIED TO HER MANAGER ABOUT IT ALL.Stephanie is the managers name. My mom went in yesterday at 9PM. She was just trying to get in and out.I grew up coming here and this has NEVER happened.For my mom to be treated like this because shes Hispanic is honestly just total bull.

This supermarket is nice and really clean. They have a lot of good deals, I like coming here to buy my groceries.

The most rude and disrespectful employees out of any grocery store Ive ever been to. They just sit around laughing unwilling to help anyone out. Including the register clerk at the Kroger gas station, named Danielle who was rude and unhelpful and made me feel like a burden. If you cant be nice and helpful to customers , you dont deserve to have a job at all.*** On other note***There is a very sweet, helpful young man with brown hair that helps with the self check out and greeting people who always makes my day. Thank you for standing out and being a good person and employee despite the bad attitude of others at this store.

The produce and bakery sections need assistance. Staff is hit or miss as far as customer service goes. Doesn’t seem like they restock daily and a lot of packagings are damaged. Most of the customers who shop at this location don’t seem like very happy people... I’d rather drive 15-20minutes to another Kroger’s location where my positive energy is reciprocated.Also, I am in an interracial relationship and I find it interesting how drastically different my experiences are when I am walking alone vs when I am present with my white significant other. I don’t feel this same way at nearby locations.

Love the customer service, sales, easily find items and I LOVE they have signs that alert you to coupons, so you can go and click it on the app!

This is a great Kroger, plenty of staff and always ready to answer your questions. It gets quite busy in the evenings. But they are still there to even help you bring your groceries to the car.

The Kroger at Western Center and Beach Street is always my quick go to store since they redid the store its easy to get in and out staff is always helpful and courteous!

Clean store with friendly staff. Great service, called right away when they were unable to fulfill an order I placed and helped me with where I could get it filled.

Had an altercation at this particular store a while back. Felt like I was mistreated and the service wasn’t great because of my ethnicity. When the manager insisted I leave and didn’t want to hear about it, I called corporate and the manager reached out to me a few days later. Said he wasn’t there when this altercation happened and he said it was fixed and he would get with his staff to make sure it didn’t happen again anyone else. He said he wanted my service but I declined. I started shopping elsewhere. We all make mistakes, but when someone is showing hate, I don’t think that person should be interacting with customers.

The bagger made an honest mistake of not putting an item in my basket. I called customer service. First, she was obviously lacking customer skills. Second, no apology for what happened. The item was left, so they put it back. You will need to get the item and bring it to customer service with your receipt. I would have said, Im so sorry you didnt have your item. Since it was a cold item, they did put it back. At your earliest convenience, could you please come back and get your item. Then bring it up to customer service and we will take care of you. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Nice staff and a clean well stocked store. The layout was really bad though. Its always difficult to find a few specific items Im a grocery store, but this was worse. Still good enough.

I shop at the Kroger Store on Beach Street all the time, and I have never had a bad experience there. The store clerks are always courteous and helpful; and there are great sales every week. I havent purchased any flowers there, but they are very pretty and fresh.

I love Krogers. When I lived in Fort Worth, I would always come here for my grocery needs. The prices were generally great and had what you needed.

This is the cleanest store Ive ever seen and great people. Always well stocked and never messy.

This has to be THE WORST parking lot at a grocery store EVER! Multiple times I have had to climb across my passenger seat because someone has parked entirely too close to me. This last time I had my toddler with me and couldn’t get her in her car seat. Do we need a change.org petition for you to restripe your freaking parking lot!?

If you decide to go after 9:30, or 10 then its not a packed but anytime before its a traffic jam inside and out.. The employees are very nice. The other shoppers on the other hand are very rude..

This is an older kroger. It has a nice selection of goods. Staff is appropriately friendly. Prices are average with the grocery stores in the area.

Be sure to look at expiration dates on the can goods. I went in today to buy a bag of potatoes. I went to self serve checkout. A large male employee stopped to watch me as if I was stealing. I am a retired public servant. I will never shop there again. Never. I will be letting my friends and neighbors know. Yes I called the store, just before noon and couldnt get anyone on the phone. There should be an option to speak to the store manager. I despise profiling.
