Needed help ASAP! They sent a Tech out in an hour!! And let me tell you how AWESOME ALLEN IS!!! His customer service was above and behind!! He had so much knowledge and literally fixed the garage in an hour!! Give this guy a raise!!! If you need a great Tech ask for Mr. Allen!!!

My garage door decided to break down at the most inconvenient time. I contacted OGD on a Sunday afternoon and immediately received a phone call to schedule an appointment Monday morning. Tech Andrew arrived and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He completely replaced my spring system and thoroughly explained how it all works and how to properly maintain it. Great job and easy to schedule.

Tucker was our technician. He was outstanding. We called on Saturday, the person answering the phone was extremely friendly and helpful, they scheduled a service visit for the very next day. He was immediately able to ascertain that the cable had jumped off the roller on the right side. After repairing, he made some adjustments to the motor to avoid strain and further damage. He also was very polite and professional about how messy our garage was, as he had very little room to do his work. Would recommend to a friend.

I had the best experience with our technician Allen today. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful to me and my family. Our garage had fallen off and he simply said no problem and had it working in less than 30 minutes. I truly appreciate you Allen and will never forget your kindness.

Prompt was able to get someone to come out the same day that I called. Further assessment concluded that they would need to come out and spend a few hours to undo and redo the track work that another company did, but they were able to come back out within 48 hours of the initial service call. Contacted OGD on 10/27 around 230pm as our garage door wasnt working properly. OGD was able to send out a technician same day, and he arrived promptly within an hour and a half after making the phone call.Andrew was extremely polite and explained things in a way that was easy for us to understand. Andrew was able to get our garage door up and operating within a few hours! He had me come out to check that everything was up to our standard and to ensure we knew how to operate our new system. I would highly recommend OGD and Andrew for your garage door needs!

Extremely cunning and unprofessional. Total and complete rip off if you go with them. Called them for replacing a spring (have only one) that is broken. Technician shows up almost two hours late and shows me 3 plans $500, $700 or $900. Tells me he would personally prefer $700 or $900.I challenged him that replacing a spring shouldnt cost more than $150.00 (which I did with some other company for two broken springs for $175.00 with warranty) and he tells me that was a year ago and its hard to find springs ;). The cheapest option of $500.00 is very expensive for a spring. Very hard to believe these guys know what they are doing. Ended up sending them back by paying the $35.00 for doing nothing. Guy didnt even touch the door. So never ever call them for your garage door repair. Total and complete ripoff.

Actually went on line and made appointment sitting on plane in St Louis,got appointment for 1 to 3 pm. Was there on time. Our technician, Casey Reasoner was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything, got door fixed and had it going in no time. Was very refreshing since only here for the day, getting house ready to sell..

On top of poor service and ability to get job done. No supervisor was on duty. Left at 5:30 and no one called me next day like they were supposed to do.Finally had to cancel. Supervisor has not called even though we called them 4 times to get our refund back. Supervisor Travis ( they would not give last name ) is one not calling now. Dispatch and call center are being no help and just rude.

Being this close to the holidays I did not want to hear I needed a new garage door opener but mine had broke. I called around to different places and made an appointment with overhead garage door. They were very accommodating and had someone out the same day. I don’t normally take the time to leave feedback but the young man they sent Brent King was outstanding. He explained everything he did not try to push anything on me he was patient and listened as I talked through all my financial woes. He really went the extra mile to make sure my door was secure that didn’t have anything to do with the actual opener. He removed my old opener and installed the new one quickly and efficiently and I just can’t tell you how happy I am. I just want them and everyone to know what a great employee they have he made a bad situation great because of his skills and refreshing customer experience!! OGD was able to get here quickly when our garage door broke. James quickly diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time. It was such a relief, since the door had been stuck in the open position .

Our overhead door opener wouldnt work, and in my internet search, OGD Overhead Garage Door appeared at the top of the list for companies servicing my location. I called, and was quickly given a same-day morning appointment, with a $35 service fee (waived if repairs are completed). I was very surprised, and really didnt expect a same-day appointment. The technician, Andrew, arrived on time, was very courteous and respectful as well as honest. The work that needed to be completed was done very well, and we were given a fair price. It appeared Andrew took great pride in his work, as he was sure to complete the work the right way and correct flaws left by a previous owner of our home, to assure he was satisfied with the work he had completed. Our new garage door opener was installed quickly, and I am confident it was done very well. It works great so far! Both OGD and the technician, Andrew Boegler, receive 5 stars today - great customer service, honest, timely, and fair.

Shea did an excellent job performing preventative maintenance on our garage. He was very nice, professional and reliable. We will hire them in the future. We were having issues with the garage making way too much noise, metal on metal sounds, but it is now so much better!! Thanks!!

Update to my last review: After 7 months of waiting OGD did finally fix my garage door. OGD said all along the issue was with manufacturing getting the parts produced. I will suggests more consistent and on going communication from OGD to customers in these situations. We were very concerned with this delay that the company would not make good on the door we purchased. My wife and I would also like to thank the installer Jacob Booth who came to do the work. He was very thorough and explained everything along the way. He also assured us this repair will work as a bracket was left off the initial install that caused the door to buckle. He has put on the correct bracket this time and appears to solidWe had a new garage door installed in Nov 2020. In March 2021 the bracket attching the openener to the door broke loose and the top sections of the door began to bend. The installer came out to look and confirmed this was under warrenty and stated this is a very poorly designed door, screws were attched to styrafome. They stated the corp office will order new door sections and be repaired in several weeks. It is now Sept and we have not been able to get this company to fix this brand new door correctly. We keep getting told month after month that the parts are being fabricated, they will check on a completion date but never get back to us. Unfortunately, I did not do my research when dealing with this company to see the multiple complaints. I think 6 months is plenty of time to get this repaired and if nothing else this company should be bending over backwards to keep me updated and assured. Like being left out on an island to dry. If this company makes good I will update this post but as of today I would steer very clear from Overhead Door out of Ft Worth if I were you.

Allen Evridge was the expert technician that arrived. He called in advance of his arrival to provide an ETA and was there at the time promised by the scheduler. Allen not only fixed what I thought was a total loss but walked me through the needed to be repaired. He was also able to provide guidance on garage springs and unit to correct a previous installation. Hands down would recommend and use OGD of Fort Worth again and would request Allen. I feel the repairs and upgrades now down will stand the test of time!

This place is the absolute worst place I have ever dealt with! We ordered a garage door, and have waited months and been patient. We randomly received text messages that our garage door was delayed. Then we were texted it finally was ready for installation but a technician never showed up, I have included the text messages so you can make a decision about using them. However I can tell you, I would rather hang a sheet up as a garage door then to ever inquire or think about using this terrible company again. Then top it off when I called about getting a refund they nonchalantly just blew me off like it wasnt a big deal even though its a pandemic and I paid half up front. Places like this dont deserve to be in business.

I posted an angry review due to lack of customer service after my service call. Lack of returning calls seems to be a major factor here.See if you qualify for any of the discounts on their website. Pay attention to the invoice when the work is done. If they didnt waive the Service fee - ask them about it.I could not find my techs name on the invoice they emailed me. He arrived within the delivery time - same day visit. He was friendly, courteous, and offered good recommendations. He did not try to talk me into new doors right now, because the cost is too high. He braced the sections that were bent, tightened my opener belts, changed the rollers and made the doors 100x more quieter and less jerky. I would have given the Comp a 5 star review if not for the lack of post service customer service, and I couldnt knock off any more because the service tech and service was really good.

Exceptional experience with the technician. He listened to me and asked the right questions and quickly got to the cause, where he easily could have sold me a new opener instead of a simple tune up. I’ve had similar experience with OGD, so it’s apparent they are just a good, honest company who believes in building repeat clients through great service and no BS.

I was able to call and have someone come out the same day for a garage door issue! The technician that came out was very prompt, kind to explain the issue and fix it exactly how he said he would. I am very pleased and will use them again for any garage door needs!!

The technician got here right on time and on the same day we called. He fixed the problem where our door was separating at the top. Then he went on by checking each and every nut on the door (which is a lot). After that he oiled all the nuts. This guy was so friendly and helpful explaining everything he was doing. When he left it felt like family leaving. He didnt try to push other things on us that were more expensive, thank God. Yes I will use this company again and will refer my family, friends, and neighbors to also use OGD. Thanks again and keep up the good work!!!!

The tech was Brandon, came on Friday night and charged 399$ to fix the garage door, Saturday morning the garage door won’t close and something flew from the door, I called Monday morning and he came at 7 pm all upset and meanand said a metal was wedged under the door that’s why abd he asked to get paid $199 to fix it again and started arguing. I do not recommend, they do the work half way so they can come back and charge you again, stay awa.

Courteous, nice and professional technician. I called them to fix my garage door opener. The tech adjusted the spring coils and the next day the garage door opener stop working again. I paid $199 for the service call and it did not worked out.

Our garage went on a break yesterday 2/22/21. Had to find a company that would be able to come and get it back up and running, got on Google did some scrolling and I always try and call a company that Im most familiar with. But when I came across OGD and saw that it was owned by a Veteran I looked no further, and I thank God for finding this company they sent a service technician out he was so very polite and easy to talk to and to me this is the type of company that cares so I was very happy and will keep them in my book of go to. Sold my parents an $100 garage door opener for $800. Home Depot sales and installs the same model for $250. When my mom called a d asked about it the representative was yelling at her so loud I could hear him from across the room and then no showed on the appointment to check it out.As you can see in the reviews they only comment positive reviews and hide from any problems their customers may have.

I called OGD just before 5PM, was told someone would be at my house between 6PM and 8PM same day. I thought maybe to good to be true. Joey arrived just before 8PM. In a matter of minutes explained what had happened to the garage door. Then offered solutions. Put the door back on track, replaced all rollers, replaced spring with recommended 2 springs. Done just after 9PM. Joey made a painful situation go away quickly in a kind and professional manner. Thank you 🙂

Called to do an estimate on adding remote receiver to a 3 button Lift Master unit on a hangar door. They look at the door and have to order the parts. They also added motor servicing to the quote to pump up the bill. Tech takes a deposit shows up a few days later with the wrong part and burns up a transformer trying to get it to fit and then leaves with the door not working. I call him 3 minutes after he leaves and say the door doesnt work. He says he will turn around but never came back.I had to hire a Master Electrician to come out and fix the door so I could get a car out. They refunded my money but refused a chance to fix what they broke.

Overhead was great! They came out and handled our issue quickly. The service was excellent and so was craftsmanship!

Do not recommend whatsoever. I called OGD in November as a new customer to get my garage door motor replaced. After charging me close to $700 to fix it, the technician dismantled the alarm on my garage door for absolutely no reason, which resulted in me having to call my alarm company and pay $85 to have it fixed. I called OGD at least 2-3 times hoping to get an answer for this from management. Despite assurances from their customer service folks that they would call me that same day, two months later, I have heard nothing. I will look elsewhere for future repairs and upgrades on my garage.

I called OGD because of all the great accolades -- a top Angies List business, a veteran-owned company ... -- and was impressed from the moment the call attendant picked up the phone.My technician was no less impressive. He stepped in to handle my appointment after the originally assigned technician had left suddenly to handle a family emergency. The technician who showed up instead was much later in arriving than my appointment window, but that was only because he was pinch-hitting for the technician who had had to leave unexpectedly.Before the new technician arrived, I momentarily thought my job had been forgotten about. To put it bluntly, I was madder than hops. However, once I understood what had happened, and met the new tech, Gerson -- that is, once I saw the lengths to which he was going to make sure the company regained my confidence -- I was once again impressed.This new technician, Gerson, was highly competent, exceedingly friendly, as well as professional and apologetic for the time Id waited. He explained how the mechanics of the door worked and showed me what was going on in detail. That gave me the confidence to go with a full repair rather than quick fix.Being that its late at night as Im writing this and Gerson needs to return early tomorrow morning with a longer piece to fit the length of my garage door, I have not had the work fully completed; however, I have no doubt that the work will be well done and well worth the price paid, which, I must say, was more than fair.This is the kind of company I enjoy working with and will call on again.

Our garage door spring broke, locking our car in the garage. We called on a Saturday night and Sunday morning they were available to come out and fix it! Very professional and knowledgeable, and the work is good! It also didn’t take him long to fix it! He also had a good attitude and wasn’t hard to talk to or understand when he spoke about the work.
