Love going to this store its fun and the store employees are awesome 😎. Prices are good and for non experienced people like me they explain prices and other things that are involved with the market.

Overpriced cards yes i understand it hard to get but when i came by i bought a few cards to sell and one of the guys tried buying my suicune for less then it was on the tcgplayer site also the celebrations pikachu figure broke when i opened it

Really great comic shop. They have a great selection, and the staff are very knowledgeable and laid back. They’ve always had exactly what I’m looking for and make recommendations based on what I like. It can be hard to find a comic store that’s comfortable to be in sometimes as a lady, but the atmosphere and vibe of this place is immaculate. Great selection of table top and board games too, if you’re into that. Overall great shop.

I’ve been to this store about five times now. It’s always been a fun and inviting experience and there is always something for me to pick up. (Mtg and pokemon) The staff are always kind and patient and actually take an interest if you wish to talk to them, about anything; unlike some stores. I wish I knew their names but I had a fun time talking to one of the employees about magic and we showed each other the decks we were making. There was another man who I took to be the owner, I’m not sure. He was also very kind and friendly and he seemed to know a lot about mtg. The funny thing is that he said he doesn’t play it! It’s wonderful that the staff take the time to learn about the products they are selling. I strongly recommend this place for mtg, Pokémon, and many comics.

Justin and his twin brother are both so awesome. They took the time to explain to our two sons about Pokemon cards. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. We will be going here for many things.

I am having great times on there Monday d&d sessions. And mtg has a good place here, but only for people who are playing tier 1 decks. Anything else and you will lose. This applies to every format. Edh and modern, which are the only formats they play. And the 2nd judge they have for Friday s mtg is not one to trust when deciding your pool of players(the brown haired white one, dont know his name). Other then that, they have a heafty amount of merchandise. I like the variety.

We dont visit regularly, but we are always highly satisfied with customer service, impressed by employee knowledge, and confident weve spent fair money or negotiated fair trades.

This is a great location. They have plenty of room for tabletop games. The staff is very knowledgeable and they know their stuff. You dont have to be an expert at tabletop, Comics, or card games they will help you fill the gaps. Their prices are great I have purchased here several times, never disappointed. We definitely need to support these types of places as a community because they offer great services. I will definitely be back again.

I highly recommend. I went in with no idea what to get for my game developer son and the young man there could not have been more helpful!! They have a huge selection for anyone who games or collects.

Selection of products is good, but be prepared to pay scalper prices. I understand that stores like this fluctuate with market value, but youre better off searching for better prices elsewhere. If you do shop here, be prepared to pay 3-5x retail.

If you are looking for a certain number and nothing behind it was not the same comic book. If I was wanting to dig into comics. I would wrather look through long boxes.Find a way to fix this. I do like titles with different numbers behind each other. You guys should find a way to organize it better. I know it can be a pain.Ty

The guy that was working the night of 4/1, was very rude and has no experience with good customer service. He was very rude to my brothers who were trying to look for Pokémon cards and rushed them the whole entire time when he started closing the store 30 minutes early. The doors were locked at 6:30 but then he came out to get us as we were walking away and then proceed to be rude and raised his voice at me and told me I needed to bring them earlier. I’m sorry I have a job and don’t get off till late. This is no way to treat little kids to yell at them when they tell you the didn’t mean to grab x amount of the same card. Again, there are different ways to talk to children and their elders and this is not one of them. I will never go here again.

Its always the same two guys that work here, they always provide excellent customer service and are very accommodating. I personally prefer this location over their Keller location; however, I wish it was larger.

I love this store!! Packed full of great boardgames, Pops, D&D items, comics, etc. The staff is friendly, as well. Especially the guy with the long blonde hair. I definitely recommend this store. They even have a rewards program on 5 star!!

As a casual collector I can never get any help when Im in there. The people that work there are usually BSing with other customers.

Amazingly friendly staff! Came in with my friend James who had traded some MTG cards while I browsed the stock. I bought my first MTG deck, and the staff was happy to help pick out the correct things. Having tons of fun playing MTG with friends thanks to you guys!

I liked the experience I just got into this type of thing myself and the bad knowledgeable staff would come again.

Every store has the right to price as they see fit, but it doesn’t mean customers have to approve. Pokémon ETB boxes that should be 40 are priced at 200. Impossible to buy for kids. eBay prices from individuals are high but are still half the price.

I might come with my mom and dad to get the three volume boxs of naruto in English do you have a response would be nice

Great place run by an even more impressive staff! Long story short I needed a rare Dungeons & Dragons book, luckily for me this place had it in stock. Justin agreed to hold it until I got off work, and he was very accommodating to a first time customer. This place has everything you could want, comics, RPG, collectables, you name it. The Sci-Fi Factory can expect my business for the foreseeable future!

Service was great but the guy really finessed alot of people charging $150 for the etb shining fates kinda saddening. Scamming customers is great tho!

Probably one of my favorite shops in all of the country. I started coming here from 3 hours away to play a competitive board game called Heroclix and immediately fell in love with the shop. What impressed me the most was how helpful the staff and management is every time Ive been there. While the of back issue selection at this location isnt the biggest ive ever seen what amazes me is when I have called ahead a week before coming and letting the manager Josh know what I was interested in they brought issues over from the other location for me knowing I wouldnt be able to stop at both on my short trip to Dallas.This store has a bit of everything and ample gaming space. I hope that some day they open a store closer to me in Austin,TX

He then even took the time to give us a basic game play run through on the games we showed interest in. Justin and Josh (hope I got those names right) absolutely make this store. Theyre helpful, excited, and straightforward. I go to comic stores because I want an interaction, otherwise Id just order on Amazon. These two make paying a couple extra bucks completely worth it. Yes, you read that right: these two make paying a markup worth it. Nothing is more frustrating than going into a store and buying from a bored, passionless employee. Every comic store needs these guys. They dont just sit there and say hi when you walk in the door, they ask what youre looking for and are excited to make product recommendations.The store itself is well organized, and has a separate play area. None of that skirting around tables full of people to get to product going on here. Well organized, well stocked, and decently priced.My only real complaint is the bathroom. Ive been to many comic store bathrooms and its not the worst (you should see the Keller location), but when Im spending multiple hours there playing a game it sucks to have to use a gross bathroom.

They are very great at finding the comics Im looking for. The owners are also really good at making suggestions on things I might be interested in. They havent made a bad suggestion yet . 😊 I am a customer of 2 years now and am very pleased with every experience Ive had here. The people working here are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend the Sci Fi Factory.Edit: Im checking in now as a customer of almost 3 years. I am in awe of their excellent customer service. This is really what keeps me coming back. The selection in comics and board games is also very good. And I think its also worth mentioning how well informed everyone is. If you want to branch out or need to buy gifts for someone else, they can definitely help you out.

These guys have very much made a business out of their passion. I think it’s awesome that they host D&D sessions for people wanting to play with their friends and even allow them to use the resources the store has. I’ve personally learned so much by coming in and talking to Justin.I want to share a story (to the best of my knowledge) about a customer that came in that Justin (one of the main workers) had interacted with. An elderly man, maybe mid 80’s, brought in all his D&D miniatures, manuals, and books that he had collected from his years and years of playing to be sold and done away with at this store. As sad as the man was he continued with passing on what he had collected for so many years to others. Almost incomprehensible with how much was brought in to be sold, the only monetary compensation the man asked for was a D&D 5e Manuel and the assurance that all he was putting in Justin’s hands (and Sci-Fi Factory’s hands) would go to people who would truly appreciate them as he had for so many years. I now have some of those trinkets that elderly man passed on and will use in my future campaigns as well as so many others.

Honestly, I like this store a little bit more then the Keller location. It just seems to be a bit more organized and they have a good quantity on most nerdy products. The staff was nice, and I enjoyed my time there. In no way am I saying the Keller location is bad since I think that store is also great, but if I had to choose which one to go to I think this location wins by a small margin.

This place absolute welcomes any and all eager players for DnD, Magic the gathering, heroclix and more. Very family friendly and inviting. There is never a moment when I come here that I do not feel at home and welcomed by all players. Been attending weekly for a little over two months and I could honestly say I could not find a better environment to spend my time . if you are a beginner everyone is just as eager to teach you as you are to learn and are very friendly about it. I love this place and its a very fun and healthy outlet for hobbies

Super great guys behind the counter! Brought my little guy in to check out Spider-Man comics and they had a great conversation with the family and answered questions.Good variety of items even for people like me who have not delved deeply into this world. Check them out, they are Excelsior!

Great service. Large selection of old and new comics. Many board games on demand too. Oriented toward card games and rpg games. Lots of room to accommodate anyone for Magic or D&,D.

Really cool place to look, lots of new and old memorabilia and whatnot. But the pricing of current promotional stuff like Avengers action figures & bobbleheads was beyond my budget.

Great guys, very knowledgeable about my comic books.I have been to a couple of different places and didnt get near the customer service I got with these two guys.Im not an expert in this field, but these guys seem to be on top of the game.I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Josh and Justin are by far the best guys if you need help finding something, needing help with a game, or to just gab over pop culture. Love this place and the people that come, being a regular, I can do nothing but recommend you come and experience it for yourself.

Nice selection of somewhat random stuff. Lots of interesting things to just browse, from random trinkets to comics rare enough that i was genuinely surprised to see them. The only reason i didnt go for the fifth star is because the shop is unbelievably unorganized. Same characters, publishers, or teams tended to be near each other, but loosely at best. I was looking for Super Sons and a few other Rebirth issues and ended up finding everything on entirely opposite sides of the store. It sucks because i genuinely loved the place but I shouldnt have to spend an hour there just to grab 20 dollars worth of comics.

Awesome store! The staff are all extremely knowledgeable about card games, board games, video games and strategy games too. They helped us pick out Pandemic, the board game for family night and after one round, we are all hooked! Also, the store offers good membership deals & special report card discounts for kids. And, its a good place to find single cards for any strategy card game. We will be visiting again very soon!

Awesome Comic Book and Collectibles store. Fantastic staff! Theyre genuinely friendly and wanting (plus) willing to help you. The staff is very informative and knowledgeable on their merchandise. The Sci-Factory offers game nights to their customers in an atmosphere that is welcoming and safe.

Such a fun environment. I just went in to get some magic cards(great prices by the way) and the man running the counter sounded like he actually wanted to help you find what you were looking for. Plus they have everything you could want action figures card games pops comics it’s all at this store

We have used this place since they opened up. The people that have reviewed on here complaining about their employees are off base. In all the time Ive been in this store, the only people that I have seen get ANY kind of attitude are the ones that dont listen when the employees explain something, or the ones trying to pull one over on the store.Every time Ive taken my kids in, they have been more than willing to talk with them and go above and beyond to help them understand their stuff when looking at various games. Love this place and wont use anyone else.

My daughter gets her comics here. We arent big spenders, but the staff is always so enthusiastic and kind to her, very knowledgeable too. We also sometimes use the game room, and there has never been an issue. Great bunch of people.

Great selection of items, good for an area that has little to no options for the Nerdy/Gaming/Geek community.My complaint is with the service.I had a question and I didnt see any staff so I went to the counter next to a register to wait for someone. No one for 3 to 4 minutes acknowledged I was there. I dont mean stop what you are doing and pay attention to me, I dont expect that. They literally walked past me said nothing and helped other people. No Ill be with you in a moment nothing. The young man who helped me was rude and seemed incompetent. He pointed me to someone else, who when I inquired about a certain comic asked Did you look? ..... :II wont be going back but Im glad people are finding it useful.

Great staffI had never played Dnd and was never really a geek over anything to do with it. I had watched all these videos and decided I would give it a shot. I walk in and Justin the brother of Josh the manager gave me the encouragement and knowledge and showed me some ropes in creating my first character. The entire staff are kind and full of energy and always willing to help anyone who comes through the door. They are some of the nicest people I know and would recommend anyone with geeky needs to them.

Comics, figures, and what I was surgically looking for, DnD minis and books, are wall to wall, with exceptional gems everywhere you look. Stopped by for my first visit and was not disappointed. Nice selection and layout although I would like the active gaming area to be smaller to accommodate more retail space. Most importantly the staff was very friendly and eager to answer all questions. You should stop by. I give it 5 Galactuses.

A what wonderful experience at this shop I had. The two working there were friendly right when I entered the door. They definitely created a great space that shows all the different things that the shop carries, as well as a fantastic collection of HeroClix. I was able to discuss with them all the latest figures as well as the past sets. I would definitely suggest swinging by this space. Ill be back for sure when Im in town.

The employees love what they do and it is shown very explicitly through their knowledge and passion about the games and comics in this store. Very nice owners, very helpful, and a lovely shop to visit when you want comics, funkos, Warhammer paints, comics as well as d&d and assorted things like that. I go there often, occasionally just to dip in and say hi.

This store has a vibrant gaming scene, insightful patrons, and fantastic owners. They have a little bit of everything and a lot of hero clix and mtg. The boardgame selection is also impressive.
