I would never use this kwik kar again!!!! cant stress that enough, my daughter went in there to get oil change , she had to buy a new car because her car had no oil in it , bone dry, no oil caused engine to lock up the owner would not take any kind of responsibility for their mistake, basically he said to bad!!! So no I would not recommend this kwik kar to anyone! You were not professional and never one time did any of you say that you were sorry about the car! Employee had a real additute !

I came in behalf of a friend, I walked in with a concern and walked out confident with the information provided. While the guys addressed the issue, they were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to fix the problem and provided recommendations on what should be fixed next. I’m glad I went for my friend because I will definitely go back for my own vehicle issues.

After being told I would have to wait until Monday to get my tires delivered I soon found out it would be Tuesday. Then after not one but two phone calls Tuesday one being that I left work early to make it there. Then when I arrived all of a sudden I can’t get the tires placed on because someone left early. This was poor service and when I’m in the middle of a phone call the so called owner interrupted with a attitude like he’s big and bad. Many times I’ve been here I never experienced any problems at all! To threaten to put me out and like you was about that life to get physical was just unethical! He didn’t want that problem. So he obviously needed to get his fix but the Hispanic guy was always helpful but he was needed a serious check!

Originally took my car to Moritz Chevrolet and they were going to charge me a handling fee for my extended warranty company to send out a transmission and I brought it here, spoke to Matt (stand up guy). Very punctual and caring for his customers. I took my vehicle to him and he got it repaired within a week working with my extended warranty company which is unheard of! Would highly recommend taking it here as Matt knows what he is doing.

They had my A/C up and running in no time thought I was gonna have to sell a kidney to pay for it but it was less then what I thought it would be going back for future automotive repair Thank you so much

This was the best experience I have ever had at a repair shop. I needed an oil change and the technicians checked everything! They let me know about some minor Maintenance that needed to be done. They also scanned my check engine light without me having to ask. I ended up getting the recommendations and the check engine light fixed in hardly anytime at all. The price was super reasonable for the work I had done. Matt and Emily are very professional and have the best customer service around, this business is family owned and operated and it shows! NO MASKS WORN BY EMPLOYEES! I went to get an oil change, the gentleman that came up to my car did not have a mask on. I rolled down my window slightly to ask if he could put one on. He smirked and said he didnt have one. I said thank you and then left. I called and spoke with the manager who informed me that the employees can chose to wear a mask or not. This is our current city mandate: Face masks will be required in all Tarrant County businesses and at outdoor gatherings with more than 100 people through February 28, 2021. This applies to employees and visitors at businesses that offer goods or services to the public.

Went in for an oil change, They didnt replace the plug correctly, oil leaked out, my engine stopped the next day. I called and they had my car towed into their shop. The towing company they hired dragged my front bumper causing substantial damage. The owner Matt Slaughter refuses to pay for any repairs to my car and has accused me of trying to pull a scam. Read BBB reviews and do your research before taking your car to this shop.

Not good they changed my oil, and then checked everything off on the list. They even checked vacuum and transmission oil, headed back on my home transmission starts messing up checked it guess what dry as heck. Now I am sitting in a hotel with my kids waiting for someone to pick me up!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

Neglectful, sheisty and worst mechanics ever!Came here for an oil change, had to come back the NEXT DAY when we saw my car was LEAKING oil! I was told it was because whoever changed my oil just didnt clean out my skid plate so they fixed it. UPDATE: a couple months later, I am now having to order and replace EIGHT MISSING SCREWS because they didnt install my skid plate on properly! I wonder what else is gonna go wrong with my car after going here. Neglectful, sheisty and worst mechanics ever!

Took my car to get my timing belt changed by them. My car hasnt been the same ever since. Took my car back up there too many times and still having issues. This has been so stressful and Im tired of having to drop my car off up there to be left over night for them to look at it for a few minutes the late late late the next day and it still not fixed. Not a happy customer.

I had brought my vehicle in for a routine inspection, only to discover that my car would not start upon being asked to pull closer to the garage. Naturally, this is a disqualifying factor for an inspection in Texas. I was offered a diagnostic to determine not only if the battery was kaput, but to see if any issues existed with the alternator. Before this service was administered I asked if there was a cost of any kind associated with having the service performed, to which the answer was no (keep in mind, not all auto shops charge for a diagnostic).So, I wait for 10-15 minutes, only for the employee to come back and give me a battery replacement estimate of around $200. I did not like this price, so I informed them I would be checking elsewhere. Guess what? Thats when they decided to inform me of a diagnostic cost of $75, which I had previously asked about, having been informed there would be no cost for this service. Basically, once the company knew I would be checking elsewhere for batteries, thats when the charge came into account. I did not agree with this, so began discussing it with the manager.In essence, I inevitably agreed to pay for a service I was informed had no cost, but mentioned I would be disputing it through my bank. The manager did not like this, so my balance was now only able to be paid in cash. Well, according to the Coinage Act of 1965 this is illegal (Im attempting to pay with legal tender, albeit begrudgingly). The manager now refused to allow me to pay for the diagnostic fee with a card, due to this comment. My vehicle has basically been stolen at this point, even though I am willing to pay to move on with my day. Well, at this juncture of the interaction, this is exactly what I attempt to explain to said manager. Hes not buying it, so I state that I will be calling the police, to which he tells me to go ahead and do.The Fort Worth Police Department shows up, asks me my side of the story, then goes inside to discuss the matter with the manager and employee that fabricated the nature of the service cost. I can only assume (because I was asked to wait outside during the interaction) that the police informed the manager that this is technically considered theft, because I am actually offering to pay, even though I wish to dispute the charge, due to the false pretense set by an employee for the service. Well, lets just say the manager decided to behave far more civilly than beforehand (its funny how fast people shape up when the babysitter shows up), because his attitude changed drastically after having talked to the officer. Im sure he was informed that I am allowed to take whatever action I choose through my bank, regardless of managements stance on that action. In addition, I am quite sure the repercussions of the managers decided course of action (stealing my vehicle) were elaborated upon further, including the gravity of what he was doing.This ended up in a reduced cost for a battery replacement (because I could have taken legal action), so the only things wasted here were time and the cost to educate these individuals through the public education system. People, if you bring your vehicle here just make sure to bring an attorney with you and to have a retainer on standby, because these people are pseudo conartists and will attempt to manipulate and lie.

Stewart and the crew here were very knowledgable and timely with the services they provided. Even when it came to getting extra parts for a break pad replacement they pointed me to a auto store where I could purchase the parts needed to save money over getting the components through them. They also took a look at a window that I was having trouble with and helped me avoid getting a replacement part and labor to fix. All it needed was a bolt. Highly recommend this location for their good, fast work and their ethics in dealing with customers.

Took my truck here for a state inspection. The guy told me that my front brakes only had 10% left and my rear brakes only 15%. Really? The only way you can check the brake wear is to put it on a lift and/or pull the wheel off. He did neither of these. I have my truck serviced at the dealership and they check the brakes. And last oil change they told me they were fine. He also said my wiper blades needed replacing. Really? I just replaced them a month ago. I asked him to demonstrate that they were bad. When he sprayed the windshield with water it took the wipers one pass to clean it. I would avoid this place since this particular person was trying to do additional maintenance work on my truck that didnt need doing!

I just went in for an inspection - so nothing major. Everyone was super nice, got me in/out in about 10 minutes, etc. Will definitely keep this location in mind when I need service again.

I went before work on Tuesday morning because my husbands truck needed an inspection. Its a 2017 Toyota Tundra and no issues prior. The inspection got came in only after 2 minutes to tell me that the emergency brake was not working so it failed. I called my husband and he came to my work to look at it and it was working. I then drove it to Goodyear right down the street and it passed inspection. I asked them to double check the emergency brake and they did. I dont like leaving bad reviews but it was a waste of my time to come here before work and the inspection guy didnt know how to push the emergency brake all the way to the floor to engage it. If I could leave no stars I would.

After getting an oil change from Kwik Kar on 8870 Camp Bowie, my brother noticed my car leaking oil the next day! I hadn’t gone anywhere else but this place so I went back and told them to fix it. Time wasted, trust is broken, & I will not be back! No wonder they work fast, because they cut corners.

The service was done quickly and Matt even checked my bulb and changed my fuse to my fog light that was out when I mentioned it and inquired about the cost to do this work. When I turned in my car for inspection as well as an oil change, I gave them a Groupon as well as a $7 coupon for inspection and mentioned 3 services. They took the car in without hesitation. But after the work was performed a new guy came in and said since you used a groupon we will not take 2nd coupon and the guy who accepted the car is new. Now the service is done so you have to pay in full. I noticed the charges are less and then it turned out they forgot the 3rd service I requested. I could have got inspection done as a separate trip if I would have been prompted about it earlier as im I still had time for renewal. Overall I was ok with the service but they should be more customer friendly and track the services to be performed and stick to their words and job work at the front desk. overall customer experience turned out to be negative and I may not visit them again.

I got an old Expedition, fuel tank broke and the parts for the car are obsolete. Chris went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had our car running, We thought it would take a week trying to find the part, this man put the pedal to the metal and got us running quick. Got my oil changed there. The guy was very knowledgeable and gave me advice about some future minor repairs without trying to sell me stuff.

I strongly recommend you stay away from this shop! I have been loyal to this location for 20 years and was happen to see it open back up. I took my car with 48,000 miles for an oil change in February and was told I needed a power steering flush, as well as a brake flush and full brake replacement. They insisted that these things were supposed to be done every 10,000 miles and warned me that I was severely overdue and I would be paying much more for repairs if I didnt have these things done immediately. I refused the service knowing something was questionable about their recommendation. My air filter was crumbling but they never asked about replacing it so I did it later myself. After I paid $75 for a full synthetic oil change, they told me I could have paid $50 had I checked groupon first. It felt like a slap in the face to tell me they would have cut a third off the price had I only shopped around first. Why not give a fair price to begin with?I went checked my owners manual and had the family mechanic take a look at my car. The manufacturer recommends the services at 90,000 miles, not every 10,000 and the mechanic said there was no outstanding issue with my vehicle. I contacted Kwik Kar Corporate and received a call from the District Manager the next day who was very understanding and apologetic. He told me he would put a gift certificate in the cash register for a free oil change and stressed how much he wanted to keep my business, especially after learning that I need an oil change every other month due to my lengthy commute.I did not return to this location until June 22 but when I inquired about my gift certificate was told that the district manager was no longer there and they refused to honor the arrangement. When I said I would never come back I was told Thats fine, just go somewhere else in a tone that sounded like I was cheating them in some way. Its fine, I will go somewhere else and will do my best to make sure everyone else knows this place is full of scammers and thieves. Stay away! I will change my oil myself in my driveway before I ever spend another dollar at this location.

Stuart, Tylor and Cameron really helped me out with my car last week! They spent a good hour or more to explain what was wrong and did not over charge me on repairs. I had taken my car to the Kwik Kar at 6651 Camp Bowie and was completely ripped off but Stuart and Tylor looked at my car told me what was wrong and answered any and all questions I had. They were absolutely amazing and I will never go anywhere else to have work done on my car!!THANK YOU GUYS

Terrible service. They lied to me about fixing a radiator hose that broke 3 days later. They also lied about giving a one year warranty on the work they do.The store manager also refused to show me a proof (receipt) that he purchased the part from the dealership.If you want to get good work done and avoid dealing with liars, avoid going to this place.I usually avoid leaving negative reviews but this place really suck.

Have been using for oil changes for the past couple years. Apparently the employees or whoever runs this Kwik Kar believe the pandemic is a hoax because not a single employee was wearing a mask, neither in my car nor inside the building. There were also customers in the building not wearing masks. Will be reporting this business to the county and not using them again for service.
