Finally Came here for the first time and now I’m just mad at myself for not coming the first time I heard of them… they are fully stocked with replacement blades that I couldn’t find ANYWHERE else… for noticeably cheaper!Not to mention the fact that the staff is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! I will definitely be back!

Just like Patricia in the comments below, i had a similar experience, but worse. I also have used them for over 10 years and have had a few issues in the past, but nothing like this. I’m a professional groomer and took a dryer in to be repaired. For anyone reading, there are only a few parts to a dryer. So i took it in and got a phone call the very next morning saying it was fixed. Now anyone that has used ft worth shaver, they have been known to take their sweet time. So i was already suspicious. They told me over the phone that it was the brushes. So i drive over an hour to go pick it up. They didn’t have a hose in the store for me to test it so i took it back. The next day it was still broken exactly how i gave it to them. I took it back, this time they told me they needed to replace the motor. Okay fine, whatever it needs, just FIX IT. They called the next day and said it was ready, i went to go pick it up and when i got there even though i didn’t have the hose i still wanted to turn it on. So they plugged it in and before i even left i told them that it still didn’t feel like it was blowing strong but they assured me that it was fixed. The next day…. STILL BROKEN, and this time it’s smells like it’s burning and it’s getting extremely hot. So my co-workers and i decided to take it apart to look at this “brand new motor”, it looked worn and had a scratch right down the middle.So i called and I’m pretty mad at this point and they tell me now that it is a faulty motor from the manufacture. I asked if this was a regular thing that happened and they said yes….. so i drive BACK up and this time they don’t call me. 4 days later i called them and asked if it was ready, they said yes. Monday i went to go pick it up and i have them turn it on and it’s STILL BROKEN. I’m not making this up.. it’s too stupid and i desperately need a dryer. So no exaggeration on my end. I ask to speak to the technician, he’s not in. So a man comes around from the back and agrees that it’s not working, i look at the motor on the inside and it has the EXACT same scratch down the middle. Now I’m beyond done, i will NEVER use this business again and i will tell absolutely everyone i know in the grooming community as well as anyone looking for appliances repaired about this customer service. Oh and it gets better. Not only did they only give half of a refund, but i wanted to take the dryer back to find someone who s competent to fix it, and they told me it will be 10 min. I asked why. They said they needed to take the motor out since i got a “refund”…. WHAT!!???? Have you ever heard of that????? It was a broken motor, what the hell are they going to do with it. Not only that, but i brought the damn dryer to them with brushes and a motor, and i got back an empty piece of plastic…. If you want to lose money and waste your time on a worthless company who will screw you, then this is the place. They are moving locations soon and i will be telling EVERYONE where they’re going :) picture of the worthless piece of plastic they gave me. Oh and their advice was just to “buy a new dryer”… imagine that

I used Fort Worth and still use them. But the quality to my scissors, blades and dryers have gone down hill significantly. I had to start using someone else for everything but my dryers because no one else I know works on them. I’d talk to the staff but dealing with them in the past hasn’t been easy. Hopefully the owner will read this and make some much needed changes on quality.Suzanne

Dropped 6 items off when they opened and had them back by my lunch break. All cutting just like new after 2.5 years of wear & tear. I’ll be back.

We took a dog dryer in for repair, they said it was the brushes. After replacing that it still didnt work and so they replace the motor. Still didnt work, then started smoking. Never got to talk with the actual person doing the repairs. They did refund for the motor, but I am left with a piece of plastic as they took all the parts out of the blower. So now if I even tried to get someone that knew how to actually fix it, there are not any parts in there to fix. This is not how they used to be, not sure what changed.

We have used them for years, and only recently started having issues. We brought our dryer in to be repaired, and they sent it back “fixed”. The next day, it started giving us problems again. We took it back, and they then found another issue, which should have been caught the first time. Now we are being charged parts and labor AGAIN, having to drive far AGAIN to have it repaired. This is not acceptable, for something that should have been done right the first time. We will spend the money for a new dryer, and find somewhere else to do business.

This was my first time to use this business. I dropped off 2 pairs of scissors and a set of clipper blades. Friendly service and quick turn around. $10 per pair of scissors seemed high, but the $6 clippers seemed affordable.

My review is based on the customer service. I’ve been getting my blades sharpened here for a few years now and they were always friendly. This past year they changed their staff and the customer service isn’t the same. There’s one employee in particular she’s a short Hispanic lady, wears glasses, and is heavy set. She’s very rude and unfortunately she’s the main one I converse with every time I go there to get my blades/shears sharpened. She is very sarcastic which in normal circumstances I wouldn’t mind as much but for her to be the face of the business and have a off putting attitude is just a turn off. As far as the sharpening goes on my tools I’m very satisfied with that.

Dropped off and got my 2 clippers back in the same day. They responded to my emails very fast and have a good selection of grooming and barber supllies. Employees are very nice and know what theyre doing.

I am a client of this place for years .. I am a stylist and for years they are have been fixed my hair clippers for the last years they changed workers and now they are different people.. .. the prices went up and the new workers are not professional or friendly at all even when they answer the phone .. I visited this place the first week of june twice to get fixed My hair clippers and a small Mexican stature over weight attended me, very rude with a bad attitude. When I was trying to take info about prices and services, the woman responded by yelling at me without letting me speak. This is the second time i had same woman attended to me. I could also see that the same woman answers them with a bad attitude and rude when she talks to customers .. this place is no longer the same as it was before .. what bad luck for customers of years that we visited this place for the services .. definitely i do not return to this place .. im an educated person, and I do not need a woman like her who has no education to disrespect me ..

As a dog groomer, been doing business with them for 40+ years, very friendly and knowledgeable, and always have what I need. Added perk, they are close.

They have the absolute best prices on blades as well as scissor sharpening... they do them on the spot for a fourth of the price that people charge to come in the shop and sharpen your shears. They are super knowledgeable and friendly very organized and if they dont have it they can order it for you no problem. This is just my experience as a barber / stylist they also do repairs on a lot of other things like small appliances....I will always go out of my way to give them business!

Ive been taking my clippers there to be sharpened or repaired for many years. An I drive a ways from my salon, because of the service that I have received. Courtney runs the front counter shes the best.

This was the only store in north Texas that I could find that fixed Kitchen Aide countertop mixers. It was worth the drive. I dropped mine off and it was ready the next week. No parts had to be replaced, just a COA needed to be done, so it was well worth the $75 plus tax for service and a trip from Dallas to FW. Daniel, the technician, came out of the back and we plugged it in so i could hear it running. He told me tips and tricks about the mixer (make sure you run it every month to keep the grease from separating, use the lowest speed to get the job done) and we talked about cookies. I left hungry 😋 and was a happy customer. There’s also a 90 day warranty so that’s good.This is an awesome store with great customer service, like the good old days. They really care about the customer here. I highly recommend FW Shaver and Appliances. They also sell Kitchen Aide mixers and accessories, food processors, clippers, shavers, dog grooming items, etc.And BTW, I came home and made meringue cookies (which is what I was making when the mixer started acting up before) and it worked perfectly. I. Called in and told her my issue, and she was able to identify it immediately. So I walked in to purchase the replacement piece for it, which they installed for free as I waited. In the future I will probably purchase my hardware here in order to keep it in town.Also carries a lot of pet grooming supplies and electric mixers/coffee pots. Check this place out if you want to be surprised by a very cool shop.

Wow. So I dropped off my mixer for repair. I drove it to my business to use for Friday night demand. It does not work!!!!!!

This has been our go to place for over 30 years. Sharpen clippers, replace coffee pots, pic up the occasional odds and ends and love to browse through their shelves and walls. Customer Service is exceptional.

I brought in 6 pair of hair clippers and had all the blades sharpen and I was very happy and impressed as a first time customer here. The man that sharpens the blades is very experienced and I will be using this service for many years to come!!!

I have been using these guys for years for clipper blade sharpening and repairs. They have always been easy to work with, fast and accurate. Recently I gave them my KitchenAid stand mixer to repair. They told me that it may take up to three days, but called me in about 24 hours to say that it was ready! My machine works like new again!Did you know that this store is one of only 17 KitchenAid authorized repair shops IN THE COUNTRY?! We are lucky to have such a unique shop right in our backyard.Stop in some time and do some shopping. They are helpful, knowledgeable and professional. You will be glad you came in.

Back in my day, the service was better. People called when they said they would, and didnt hold lamps ransom claiming to be waiting on parts that do not exist. Rarer vintage items arent worth taking here, modern items, I cannot speak on. Good luck, expect to be patient.Youve just been Grovered.

I dropped of my clippers months ago was told that they would ship them back to because they were short staffed . I gave the lady my business card and paid for the repairs plue shipping. I called about 2 weeks later and was told they couldnt find my clippers and were so sorry. Now months later they called and said I have 3 days to come get my clippers before they sell them. They were very short and rude on the phone. It was not my fault that they missed place or lost my info. I had go buy another set of clippers .

BAD BAD! Never come here! Employees are lazy! Never wanting to do anything. Theres one employee whos really nice hes all tatted up. Besides him bad service man. I came to get my trimmer set and sharpened and they were not set right! CAME BACK TO GET THEM SET CORRECTLY and dropped off my coworkers trimmers to get a blade changed and sharpened and WHEN THEY WERE DONE THEY GAVE ME THE TRIMMERS AND LIVING FAR FROM FORTHWORTH I HAVE COME TO FOUND THAT THEY HAVE SWITCHRD TRIMMERS. THEY GAVE MY COWORKER THE WRONG TRIMMERS. SO WHO EVER ENDED UP WITH MY COWORKERS TRIMMERS ENGRAVED WITH HER INITIALS. HOPE YOU KNOW NOT TO COME HERE AGAIN. Im very displeased with this place man!

I have used this place for over 5 years and being a groomer that’s a lot of blades over the years, but after the 3rd time of terrible service I’ll taks my business else where.

Took our dryer there and went 2MONTHS later it was still in pieces so fast forward 2 MORE MONTHS how to pick it up and they have apparently sold it to who knows who and for who knows how much money and do not want to repay us for our items which they lost and did not repair this calls for a lawsuit I think
