Been there for work I asked for (for stuff I thought I needed fixed/replaced), which they could have done the work, but said I didnt need... they always appear to be honest. And the owner seems like a real nice guy.

After a year of searching for a shop that would be qualified to work on my 4D56 diesel engine due to a fuel leak, I was recommended to Karr Automotive. I drove the 2 plus hours to have service performed. Approximately three months later, after delays due to part availabilities. I went to pick up my Mitsubishi Pajero. Kellyn’s detail to attention is in parallel. I must say the repairs were costly but I have a peace of mind that it was done correctly and to perfection. 800 miles from home my engine lost compression and died, looking around the area I chose to have it towed to KARR Automotive. It sat there for a month and we kept in touch, I found another 2000 Maxima with a rebuilt engine in it and they swapped it out for me. I now have my car home safe in Memphis, it drove back like a new car, they also installed strut and shock assemblies front and back. Could not have ended up in a better shop, very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness can not give enough kudos, these guys saved my car. A month later now it’s a joy to drive 👍

Outstanding to work with. I had a 2007 Solsticethat needed a rear differential. The parts we’re very difficult to locate as Pontiac is no longer in business. They worked for couple weeks to lactate the parts and couple repair. I can saying enough good things about service and work performed. Super fast, friendly service. My battery died. I stopped at Karr by chance. They had the new battery installed and me back on the road in less than 20 minutes.

This morning I was freaking out because my car wouldnt start and was flashing all kinds of crazy error messages. I was on the other side of town, but was willing to pay extra to have it towed here because I knew that Kellyn would be honest in his evaluation of the problem. Within an hour of my car getting to the shop, the problem was diagnosed and fixed. Kellyn even reminded me that I was due for an oil change - Im terrible about remembering routine maintenance, so that was super appreciated! LOVE this place!

I would not go back to this repair shop ever. The owner was very rude with my boyfriend when trying to get his clutch fixed. He over charged my boyfriend after telling him that tax would not be charged. On top of that, some bolts were not tightened correctly. Over $500 was spent here and the job was not completed correctly. The owners response was What is your point? when confronted about the terrible service and overcharge. I was overall very disappointed with the service after reading all of the positive reviews. I expected more from a business with such good reviews.
