Attitude CENTRAL! Unfriendly would be an understatement.. However, some patrons may beg to differ, because when I initially entered a customer was up front having tons of giggles as she’s chatted away with the customer service reps. Good luck getting some help. Walked in and I could’ve easily ripped the store off. No one greeted nor approached to address any questions or help that may have been needed. I was in the coaxing down the aisles for ten minutes; when I decided to approach the customer service reps at the counters. I stood before Al and Damon (both on the phone); I finally was acknowledged with a “I’ll be with you shortly” from Al. Well as I’m continually waiting, Al ends his call with a customer, to take a personal call. Obviously he was flirting with whomever he was talking to smiling and saying whispering flirtatious undertones. No regard for my still standing before him.. Damon eventually ends his customer-related call and assisted. He did leave the counter to make sure we were duly-describing the same accessories that I came to purchase... He left after assisting and as I’m leaving the aisle, I noticed Damon now off the phone spying on me from the other end. How suspicious can one be? I was purchasing large items and I have no purse or bags on me, just my payment method. Sadly... He makes a swift move in front of me as I’m walking to the counter as if to stop my ability to walk, or cause delay; however I out-paced him. No courtesy excuse me or pardon me for that gesture. I met back with Al at the counter and checkout was standard.

These people are Extremely unprofessional. This place is a joke. They took the trip mileage on my car (2800) thinking it was the odometer And updated it to Carfax as (28,000).That’s about as much attention to detail as they’ll pay to your car.

Tried to get my tires here. Will called the day my appointment was set for and said it was going to take too long and it was too close to closing so he couldnt do it. So I rescheduled for the next day. I show up and theres no appointment for me. He passes the blame to the website people, and has me remake the appointment on one of their computers, and when I point out the unprofessionalism he says ... I pulled up the website to make it easier for you, as if getting to pepboys.com was the problem. 30 minutes after I FINALLY give him my keys and leave he calls again to say oh sorry we dont have those tires here. A colossal waste of my time, save yourself the grief and dont let them waste yours.

Great customer service. I took my car in to get a headlight bulb changed out. I was in a pinch as I was traveling and leaving the next day. I mentioned not having a problem waiting but was just concerned that it could be fixed same day as they looked busy. I found Starfire Solarus AS tires for my 2013 Hyundai Sonata for a very good price. After thorough research, I decided these are the ones. I called the store and spoke with James in the tire department. I wanted to ensure I could pick up in store before I placed the order online. James told me to just purchase in store and will honor price. I came to the store and was greeted by Chuck. Sadly, the tires weren’t in stock, but they did one better. They found me better tires and honored the price. I appreciate the outstanding customer service. Considering my financial bind with repairs on this vehicle, I’m very blessed. I would like to think I’m fair when it comes to reviews, so this is my first really negative review I’ve ever posted.This is my second experience here at this particular location. My first I got all 4 tires replaced here and it took them 4 hours to replace them and that is with an appointment. Needless to say I was not thrilled because it killed the rest of my day. When I made the appointment they did not warn me. But it wasn’t enough of a inconvenience to write this review and nor was it negative per se.Now this time, I called last Friday because I had run over a piece of metal and it obviously ruined my tire. I had purchased the road hazard warranty, so when I discovered my tire was flat I thought ok no big deal I’ll just get it repaired or replaced at pep boys. The man who answered the phone was pleasant and said ok just come in now and we can take care of that. I was currently at work so I said I’d like to make an appointment for tomorrow, he instant said we have nothing available, he then went over his schedule and didn’t have anything open for a week, I said can’t I just come in? He said no, but he initially had no issue with me coming in when I called. In my opinion that’s bad business practice. Not only that, but I’m here now waiting 3 hours for one tire to either be patched or replaced. 😤

At 3 Oclock my car was in the shop at the exact scheduled time. 3:45 the young lady( I wish I remembered her name because she was great) handed me my keys and told me the tire was repaired and because I purchased them there with the warranty there were no charges☺WOW

Ordered 2 tires on Amazon and had them delivered to your location and scheduled through Amazon. Even though my appointment was scheduled wrong, I still was in the system and had to wait 2 and half hours to have my tires mounted and balanced. Ridiculous. I went with you to save shipping costs and so I could have a seamless experience. Instead I waited all that time. Than off course tried to sell me 2 more tires even though they are not immediately needed. After which I was advised to get an alignment which usually costs $100 but for me today 50 bucks. I only needed my tires changed not this whole hassle. Next time Im going to tuffys tire on colonial. Much more professional and straightforward. $5 more per tire to mount but worth it to avoid the aggravation.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I expected it to take several hours because a couple of years ago I had gone there for an oil change and it took them far longer than it should have and things did not get taken care of that needed to be taken care of. I was a little concerned about taking my car back there again this time so I was pleasantly surprised. I went across the street and did a little bit of light shopping and when I came back my car was waiting for me. I only had to go inside and grab the keys. The customer service was very good also. The price was far less than I would have paid at the dealership, which is where I normally would have gone. I probably paid about $25 less.

Went in yesterday with a issue with a battery I purchased from pep boys in Brooklyn. James immediately ran a battery test and diagnosed what he thought might be the issue changed my battery and I was good to go. Didnt take much time at all and this all happened right before they were about to close. I would highly recommend this pep boys if you can get James as the person to help you!

Although I told them what the problem was, they charged me more than $ 100 for the diagnosis and above all I wanted to charge $ 1400 for a change of spark plugs and a single gasket !!! I will never bring my car to this place !!!

I booked an appointment for a Sunday online. I selected the services that I needed with no issue. When I went in that Sunday, I was informed that they dont do the selected services on Sundays. So why do you give those options on your website? Very inconvenient.

Avoid at all costs. Came in for an alignment and balance, when my boyfriend picked up his car the lug nut and stud was stripped on one of his wheels. Not only did they do NOTHING to make this right, we just found out it’s going to cost $200 to replace the parts. I will be calling them today, but please don’t make the same mistake we made!

I was already having an unfortunate day and really needed my spare traded out in a hurry an hour before closing. I went in and asked if it was possible to swap the tires on my spare and without hesitation James Turcious assisted me and asked for the tire to bring out back. He had it done in under ten minutes from start to finish. I thought it was very nice that the service manager took the time to help me.

I recently had brake work doneYou relined my rear brakes and inspected the front brakes. You told me the front brakes were in great shape. My front drivers side suddenly malfunctioned, almost rear ended another vehicle. Very scary situation to be inSo now I have to replace the rotors. Im very disappointed in Pep boys. Just relieved no one was hurt or killed as the result of you carelessness.

Careless techs came here for an alignment and balance on all 4 tires. When I picked my car up I was handed one of my lug nuts all stripped out. They also stripped out the stud on which the lug nut goes making it an expensive repair. No compensation was offered basically said it was like that which it was not when I brought the car in. Paid full price for pep boys to damage my car. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. Had me drive out missing a lug nut when I came with all of them on my car. Will never use pep boys again.

Very very very overpriced! Not impressed at all. Walmart was out of the two bicycle SUV trunk mounted bike racks for $39.98. I called around and Pep Boys had some however for the exact same item, exact same UPC they wanted $59.99

I came here for a car show that was being hosted by this store. Pep Boys is a full service auto parts store that does both retail sales and supplies service centers. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. What sets this place off from other auto parts stores is that they do repairs and sell a ton of tires here, too

Absolutely the worst place on earth period yall wanna send people home 1300 miles with no breaks

So I had a 10am appt therer one day and it was an hour and half later and my car was not up yet to even be serviced. I asked the guy and he said about 20 more mins. I came back half an hour later and still not up on lift. I was quite mad. I asked for my keys back and I left. 20 mins later I got a call from the manager. He asked me to come back and he would comp me part of my services. I went back and got my stuff done and paid almost half the price.I means a lot to me that they owned up to their mistake and they honored me as a customer. For that...I will continue going to PB for my car care. They always tell me straight and they never over charge.Thanks to manager James and chuck and Mr. Norton!! I appreciate you!!

I was there at 5 PM on a Friday. There was only one other customer. Glad for me. The man I talked to about having the tire on my car plugged was very helpful. He explained where the waiting room was and they had coffee and tea. They took care of my car in short time.

On our way home from Punta Gorda we ran into a problem with our Mustang GT convertible. It was 2 pm on Sunday. We pulled into this Pep Boys and met Oscar at the counter. He was able to squeeze us in. Matt the mechanic who worked on our car diagnosed the issue. They were able to find the parts locally and get us back on the road to Fort Lauderdale in a few hours. Thank you Oscar and Matt.BTW the cost was very reasonable for the work done.

I knew it was time to get new tires especially before the rainy season, but this morning while driving I knew it had to be done ASAP! I walked in with a coupon for buy 2 get 2, was told I could wait but it would be about 2 hours. They asked the manager if they could even do it and the manager was like yeah, I’ll drive it in now! I was in and out with 4 new tires, a year free of roadside service, still money in my pocket and best of all security we’d be fine driving around all in about an hour! Best customer service I’ve had in a very long time! Keep up the good work!

My experience at your Fort Myers store on Cleveland Ave. (Store #204) is the worst experience I have had an auto repair shop in over twenty years. I was helped by not a service adviser or manager but a salesman, Gary. I came in after several years of not visiting a Pep Boys due to past bad experiences and hearing horror stories of others against my intuition telling me to stay away. Nevertheless, I came in for two new tires and a wheel alignment. I got two new tires, but I was also being sold that my back brakes are shot and must be repaired now another $300 dollars. (Tires $383 and brake job $300 for a total of over $700) When I visited this the shop it was not my intent to come in and open my wallet and take all my money and throw it up in the air and let Pep Boys grab all they can take from me. So, goes my experience at this store. My salesman, Gary pushing the Synchrony Bank credit card in a nonchalant manner he felt I could go ahead and get the work done and charge it all on my new credit card I would open for discounts on the work. Pep Boys, I didn’t leave my home this morning to get a new line of credit or go in debt I came out to get tires and alignment done. I don’t mind paying for a service that is honest and a job well done. I did not get that with my experience in Pep Boys Fort Myers location. I got tires and was assured wheel alignment was done but the way my car drives now pulling to the right and shaking when I get to 50-60 miles certainly doesn’t convince me an alignment was done. In fact, I feel it was not done because I put the brakes on getting the brake job done. So, it seems they put two new tires on and that was all. No alignment. My car was driving perfectly well before I arrived at the store. Plus, it was not shaking me up once I reach certain speeds on the interstate. I got taking!!!! As one of millions of hardworking consumers who work hard for their money, I do not enjoy throwing away my money, being lied to, and ripped off by not doing the job agree to be done. It is unfortunate as consumers you cannot trust some automotive shops namely, Pep Boys I strongly advise and recommend if you are a hard working consumer and you do not enjoy throwing your money away and not getting the service you have ask and paid for AVOID PEP BOYS!!!! Save yourself time and money find an automotive shop that does look at the customers as a money bank they can extort money from them or push a bank credit card. Look for the shop that has fellow feeling as a fellow consumer that understand how hard you work for your money and how important getting your vehicle repaired and in good working order is to you because they can relate to you. Rather than a shop that looks at you as profit for their store. Trust me AVOID PEP BOYS! I can kick myself; I live 5 minutes from a Tire Choice and I have used them for all my auto repair and tires needs for the past fifteen years and never had a problem. I am going back to the shop that appreciates my business as a hardworking consumer and not shaking me down for money and not doing the job. I will not visit a Pep Boys again not even to buy a car air refresher. Thus, you get sense of my disgust with my experience. Save yourself and do not go through what I experienced. Avoid the salesman at Pep Boys.

Had my car towed there the night before, they opened at 7am the next day and by 11am they still hadn’t looked at my car. When asked about how long it would be I was told “I’d have to look into that” decided to just have my car towed to another shop after the poor service and attitude here. Wouldn’t ever recommend coming here.

Our tire went flat driving home from Key West to Tampa. We could not find any tire store that would replace the tire so late and we could not drive home on the spare. We arrived at PEP Boys store #204 and Rob and Matt did not hesitate to assist us. They quickly changed our tire and we are now on our way!! Thank you Rob and Matt!!

I recently visited one of your stores in Fort Myers FL. I would just like to let you guys know how I did not appreciate how non of your sales associates were wearing masks. From the time I was in the store I witnessed the sales rep at the front counter cough multiple times, not even into his sleeve or a napkin. I was going to checkout with my item but felt too unsafe to do so and put it back and walked away. I think it’s very inconsiderate to be putting your customers well being at risk because of a small inconvenience.

James the manager great at multi tasking and meeting several customers needs and wants at the same time. I was gonna drop my tire off to get replaced because I had other things to do. But he assured me that it wouldn’t take them long to do it right away and I must say I was impressed he was correct. Will definitely come to this location more often

This place is great if they dont have what you need (and they have a lot), they can get it. The main mechanic (Andy) is so good he should be running that whole place. If I didnt live so far away this would be my go-to place for everything Auto

Called in for a tire quote... They said buy 3 get 1 free. 71.99 is the price they gave me for 3 tires... Total amount was $573. The price should of been less than 300. Cant believe how Pep Boys tried to lie and over price me... Never again will I ever shop there

The kidnapping is over. Finally the police arrived and ordered PEP Boys ( FT Myers, Fl ) to release my car to me. I arrived today about 5pm with a brake fluid leak. They said they would take a look and call me. 2 1/2 hours later we look at my brakes. I need a new brake cylinder and my left rear brake is soaked with brake fluid. B. Jones the service person offers me a $447.60 pkg. I tell him I just need the cylinder replaced. But its always best to do both if one goes. The said the would talk to the service mgr and crunch some numbers. A 1/2 hour later I look for him and he offers me a $366.10 pkg. I tell him I only want the cylinder replaced he says brake fluid is corrosive. ( I have spilled it on a car hood with no damage ) I reply it will not eat a brake drum or any other metal parts. Another 1/2 hr and we are down to $325. I now say just put my car back together so I can leave. One hour later no car he is now saying the District Manager told him the car could not be released because of safety issues. I ask to speak to the D Mgr but and told hes not around. How did you talk to him I asked and he said he didnt but that was the result of an earlier similar situation. I said so you lied to me. Other unhappy customers are now offering sympathy and support. Finally I call the police........ DO NOT GO HERE. The Officer told me this location was like ground zero for customer dissatisfaction. I read many unhappy stories before posting mine and again DO NOT GO HERE

Called ahead to make sure they could take my car in for a simple oil change. They told me to bring it in, but would need to leave it. So, I get someone to follow me there. We walk in, and were the only ones in line, Theres only one write-up man working, sharing his life history with a customer, and theres 4-5 employees standing around staring at the walls. Stood there for 15 minutes and not one of them even acknowledged us. It was as though we were invisible. Who needs Pep Boys when you get real service elsewhere? Bye Bye PB!!

Took my 2007 Expedition in to take care of an occasional miss under load. Having owned Fords with 5.4L Triton engines before I knew what the problem was and told them in advance what it was..there were coil packs going bad. Service Writer had the balls to tell me I needed 4 new coil packs, PLUS a new manifold gasket, PLUS all new heater and radiator hoses ( which they had replaced in 2016 when they put a new radiator on the truck ). They wanted $1,200 for all repairs. After I pointed out they hoses were all less than a year old and the fluid they saw on the engine was rain water from the storm I drove through to get there ( and told them the truck had not lost any coolant since they replaced the radiator and all hoses ) I authorized ONLY the replacement of the coil packs. They called me later that day to pick up the truck and guess what...it was $1,612 and they did all the work as technician recommended repairs charging me $155.00 each for THE CHEAP CHINESE COIL PACKS that I can ( and have before ) bought myself on Amazon for $49.99 each. I asked for a manager to talk with. The borderline rude advisor said there was no manager on duty for me to dispute this with and the service advisor that wrote me up and claimed I authorized these repairs had gone home and would be out for a few days, so I had no choice but to pay the bill or leave the truck with them until they sorted out things internally. Then....to add insult to injury they declined their own credit card for the payment. Cant tell you how unhappy I am about all this, but I can tell you Ill NEVER--EVER go to another Pep-Boys for ANYTHING, ever again. I expect repair people from all trades to try and gaff me because, Im too old to do things for myself anymore...but being flat-out lied to... thats just insulting.

Husband called Friday to get cost of oil and fuel filter change on our dodge diesel p/u. After 20 minutes on the phone with Eric, mostly hold, we were told to bring it down so they could determine what fuel filters were needed. 20 minutes later arrived at pep boys, two gentlemen came out, stopped about 20 feet away and the guy with the blue shirt said he had never worked on one of those, meaning our truck, and went back inside. the guy in the white shirt asked to look at the engine, about 10 seconds and said something to the effect of take it somewhere else. 20 minutes later and we are home. Had it done at Pep Boys in Cocoa Florida last year and the they didn’t seem to have a problem getting it done. I think they might need a little more training. 0 stars if we could.

I had a BMW that constantly gave me problems after 60k miles. I took my car to Pep Boys and they identified that there was a vacuum leak that could have been very costly to fix, depending on what they would have found after removing a particular part from the engine. In the end, I decided to trade my car in and I actually had one of the service managers help me negotiate my new car with the dealership. I took my new car to Pep Boys after the purchase and they were nice enough to inspect it for me at no cost. Both of these gestures are nothing they were required to do and I am ever so thankful for such a great local establishment with genuinely helpful staff.

I was going to get charged $65 at a dealership to change my air filter. Came here and with the help from James at the service department, I was able to save $50! He was very helpful and quick. I was there for no more than eight minutes.

Casey greeted us when we came in. She was great. The store is always clean. You can always find good deals at Pep Boys.

Very good and professional service. Very attentive manager and quick service, no pressure and there was another issue with the car that wasnt included in the service and I was shown what was wrong and no pressure on trying to sell me the fix.

Arrived at this location to buy tires, there were 6 total customers in the store(I was annoyed, i counted) it took 11min for anyone to acknowledge me. There were 3 service techs and 2 store associates. I waited an additional 10 min after i was finally acknowledged, i then left. Customer service keeps your business running.

Skip it. Go somewhere more authentic where people know what theyre doing. These guys will nickel and dime you for services that could have been more expertly given elsewhere. Because of this location I will never go back to a chain mechanic.

Afterward, we let them know we were experiencing problems, both with the functionality and the appearance of the finished product. We were immediately contacted by the store manager, James Turcios. He told us he would take care of us and he certainly did. Everything was repaired beautifully, including replacing the center vents, repairing the A-Pillar Panels, and best of all: an A/C compressor was replaced at no additional charge! Our A/C is ice cold and everything looks and works perfectly. Mr. Turcios even went above and beyond by staying late after his workday in order to speak with us face-to-face. He wanted to personally hand us the key to test drive and make sure that everything was operating correctly. He also came outside to inspect the car and ensure that we were happy with the finished result. We absolutely couldnt be any happier. We appreciate all the extra time, effort, and attention. This was incredible customer service and amazing work.Even though their store is in North Fort Myers and we are in Naples, we are so pleased that we will continue to visit Pep Boys for our automotive needs.Highly recommend! 5 Stars!

I love this location. They treat as if I am a regular. This location is my go to location for services and parts for my car. They take care of me. In fact, I need to go today for taillight. On my way Donovan. I can remember everyones name but everyone is outstanding.

Everytime I need parts Barry finds it even when I cant find it anywhere. The manager Al always makes you smile and make you feel like you are the only customer there. The rest pf the people that work there are awesome too.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! ROB THE MANAGER AT THE TIME!WE TOOK OUR BMW IN FOR ONLY A ALIGNMENT AND THEN WHEN WE GOT BACK INTO THE CAR THERE WAS A SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT ON WHICH WAS NEVER ON, WE WENT BACK TO EVEN SHOW THE MANAGER AND HE IGNORED US AND WAS ON THE PHONE COMPLAINING TO WHOMEVER THAT WE DONT GET PAID ENOUGH THEN WHEN HE TOLD US TO BRING THE CAR BACK TO BAY 1 TO CHECK IT AGAIN HE WAS STILL TELLING US THE LIGHT WAS ALRDY ON I THEN ASKED IF HE WANTED TO SEE A VIDEO I JUST FILMED IN THE CAR THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NOT ON AND HES LIKE YES LET ME SEE IT AS HE WAS CHALLENGING ME HE THEN HUFFED AND WAS LIKE THIS WAS HOURS AGAO. WE FELT SO MUST HOSTILITY THERE AND WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR JUST FOR AN ALIGNMENT.... THE TECH THAT WORKED ON OUR CAR WAS SO SHADY AND KEPT TALKING ABOUT HIS OWN BMW AND TOLD US ALL HIS PROBLEMS WITH HIS BMW IN WHICH WE COULDNT UNDERSTAND BC OUR CAR IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, ALSO WHEN THEY TOOK THE CAR TO DRIVE THEY DID NOT PUT DOWN ANY COVERS FOR THIER FEET AND HAD GREASE AND DIRT ALL OVER THE STEERING WHEEL. THE MANAGER ROB WHOM WAS HORRIBLE, AND THE MECHANIC BOTH HOOKED UP THE CAR TO A DIAGNOSTIC TO SEE WHY THE LIGHT WAS ON AND ALL THESE READING POPPED UP AND THE MECHANIC WAS LIKE I NEVER SEEN THESE BEFORE AND THE MANGER WAS LIKE WELL JUST WIPE IT ALL CLEAN, AND THE MECHANIC WAS LIKE WELL I WANNA KNOW WHAT THESE ARE FOR THE FUTURE BC OF MY BMW? ...... HE THEN WIPED THE LIGHT OFF BUT WERE AFRAID THEY DID SOMETHING TO OUR CAR AND THEY LIGHT WILL POP BACK UP.... WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF FINDING A LAWYER JUST IN CASE THIS LIGHT COMES BACK ON WE DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AT ALL. THIS STORE NEEDS NEW WORKERS AND MANAGEMENT.
