Great team, great service.

I have a pair of Volvo Penta D6-435 that had a mid range boost issue, I’ve had three other mechanics play a parts chasing game with no success and a lot of money. The mechanic they sent I believe was Jim, great guy diagnosed it in 30min ordered the parts and finished the work a week later. It was nice dealing with someone who knows the Volvo Penta product and didn’t waste my time, and the price was fair.They do have an opportunity for improvement when communicating with the customer , maybe hire Jason a nice female assistant.

Great group of people working here. From the mechanics to the office staff. They seem to be straight shooters and do there best to accommodate your needs

Techs are competent; office a mess.They quickly sent DocuSign for work authorization then did nothing for five weeks. Hurry up work as we were leaving was well done, but the primary work we hired them to do is now being done by another shop 1000 miles North.

Very expensive can I find much better service and competitive rates higher as small local companies

I used JAS Marine for a troubleshooting and dockside repair on my Onan generator. From the first contact with them they were friendly and professional. When Jim arrived to fix the problem he was knowledgeable, friendly, explained what he was doing and gave me tips about the generator and its use moving forward. I highly recommend JAS Marine!

I agree with Fran. They charged my card before the work was done and they caused significant damage to my boat. Even the people from Volvo were perplexed at what they did. They left my boat In such poor shape I could not safely put it back in the water. They worked on the wrong engine and refused to make it right then they put a charge through on my credit card without me seeing what they did. Really bad people. BEWARE

Be very careful, they will try to rip you off with expensive solutions and overpriced products. Dont give them your card details, they will charge you without asking if you agree on a price, and they will do work to your boat without permission and charge you without previously asking if you agree on the price. Very dishonest business!
