I have a Toyota 4runner I want to lift and buy a new suspension and tires. THREE times Ive been to this place to get some info. Now, the store is beautiful and well kept, but from all those times i was there i was ignored like the plague. Only the last time i had to go and ask someone for help and made me feel like i was intruding or something. The infor they provide me was so vague that i felt i was bothering them with my questions, is a shame really.

Awesome experience!I had never done any work to any of my trucks previously but had the urge to give my 1500 Denali a bit more aggressive of a look than the stock package. When I made my first call to S&T with my novice questions and not really having any idea what I wanted to do I expected to be brushed off, but that wasn’t the case!I worked with Max on this project over a 4 week period changing my mind a dozen times during the process. He finally told me to trust him as he knew the exact look I was going for...HE NAILED IT!The truck looked amazing from day 1, but I wanted to put some miles on the truck before I posted a review. I did a leveling kit and 22x10 forged wheels, with G2 tires. My main concern to Max was that I drive 70 miles of highway every day and did not want to lose the quality of ride or have too much noise that can come along with all-terrain tires. I have purchased many items from this location and it always seems when you walk into this place youre overwhelmed by how nice the showroom is but immediately you feel like youre somewhere you dont belong because everybody ignores you like the plague they are too busy on the phone and ignore the customers that walk in. A greeting would be nice like hello will be with you in a minute. Instead I get the feeling like what the hell are you doing here. Sometimes I wonder maybe Im just invisible LOL

What a waste of space, went there for some tires and lug nuts for my car only to be told We dont have it we can order it for you left the store and ordered what I need from Amazon $30 .00 less than what it cost at speed and truck world, other issue is parking for customers is seems that all of the employees drives these jack up trucks and for some unknown reason likes to park diagonally instead of parking properly in the assigned space, big waste of space. Order what ever you need online.

Took a 1965 classic mustang there. The most honest straightforward people. Knowledgeable is an understatement for these guys. They dont waste your money and they know exactly what they are doing. If they cant help you they will tell you who can and you can be certain who they send you to you can trust 100%. Nothing but positive things to say about this establishment.

Although they didnt have what I was looking for, for my Ford Ranger, they have a pretty big selection of products. The store itself is badass. They have a full garage and a full station setup just for car wrapping. And a huge on-site wrap center in the back of store. They do have race fuels and stuff that isnt easily accessible around town. From race slicks to adjustable coilover suspension for 4x4s. Lots of fluids, and race gear as well. They have a decent amount of hubcentric wheel spacers, ( just not for Ford Rangers, ) in stock. Although they dont install them. Place is pretty sweet. Bring your wallet, it adds up VERY QUICKLY.Very cool place.

All I can say is amazing. Speed and Truck World went up and beyond for all my needs. When walking through the front doors of Speed and Truck World it’s like walking through candy land for parts and accessories. I stopped by to inquire about a lift and wheels for my truck and the guys there were super friendly and informative. They told me everything I need and they recommend for my truck to perform to it’s best. Once I chose everything I want to do they put me on the schedule to drop it off. I bought a lifted truck aftermarket with about 90,000 miles on it. After driving 5,000 miles the rear end collapsed. I brought it to a highly rated body shop that couldn’t fix it. I got stuck with a bill and a broken truck. I took it to California customs. They fixed it for about a week and then the back collapsed again. California customs then told me I needed someone who specializes in suspensions. They couldn’t fix it, and told me to pick up the truck.I tried finding some place , anyplace, that could fix my truck. 90% of the places including the GM dealer couldn’t even get it on a lift. I finally got referred to speed and truck world. I had to wait a couple weeks for an appointment; that should tell you something!Dino fixed it and charged me $1350 for the work. I’m not a mechanic and had no idea how much this was supposed to cost. They could of charged thousands more but treated me honestly and fairly. I wish every place I dealt with would give me this type of results.

Okay. So my Vespa scooter would not start after getting gas across the street from Speed and Truck World. I pushed my scooter over to Speed and Truck, went inside and asked if I could leave my scooter in their parking lot while I went home and got my truck. When I got my truck, I went back to Speed and Truck World, went inside and asked and older white gentleman at the counter if someone could help me put my scooter in the back of my truck. He did not seem very happy about helping me, but he did call George and Andrew to the front. George and Andrew you put my scooter in my truck with no problem. George and Andrew, you are the nicest men I have met in Fort Lauderdale in a long time. Thank you, George and Andrew for being so sweet.

Best place to go to modify your truck. They installed a brush guard with led and some new fog lights for my new F150. They did a great job. Very friendly service and competitive prices. Their showroom is huge and they have lots of mods available.I had an issue with one of my fog lights about 6 months later - and Dino and his crew fixed it right away. I asked how much and he said don’t worry about it! I’ll only come here for mods. They care about their customers.

Recently purchased and had installed the automatic amp step rails as well as a BakFlip folding cover on my truck. Eric Took care of all my needs. I even took it back after a lock smith screwed up my rails when they unplugged the power connections and they didnt even charge me to get it back working so kudos to them. This place really turned me off today. I called and asked for a T3 turbo flange and gasket. The guys tells me...Come in we have it. I drive 30 mins to get there and guess what. They dont have it. I wasnt calling a used car buy here pay here dealership. I thought I was calling the old speed and truck world that used to be awesome. Whatever dude. Hope the owner sees this to better train his staff to not waste peoples time.

Had some work done on my sons jeep... light bars and switches etc... Everyone was polite, they got it done when they said and at a price that seemed reasonable.. I have no complaints.. I dont know of any other shop you can walk into and they have most of the stuff in stock, right there, right then. I liked that...(I called about some new rims and tires today for my truck.. same response, a 1 day turnaround...)

Wow! What a great place! ... and a great experience! From the moment I walked into the place, I knew it was AWESOME! Mike took care of me promptly, and actually listened to my needs/concerns! ... then took care of it it professionally and succinctly. Then, on top of it all, didnt charge me for it as it was a small problem for them ... but was a BIG problem for me! I had purchased over-sized tires for my truck, but were slightly too big for the front end of my truck. In 5 minutes, he returned my truck to me ... FIXED! Thank you all so much! During my short wait, I enjoyed a great conversation with another one of their employees! I will be back, & will refer everyone of my friends & students to them! So refreshing to experience professonalism & customer service at its BEST!

They do some alright work (depending).EDIT FROM BELOWWhen I came back to Fort Lauderdale, they fixed the issue. I only had to pay for a new airbag.Some of their subs dont. I like these guys personally. I dont like the lack of accountability. Unfortunately it was only two months after I had airbags installed (to lift truck bed for heavy loads / lifts the truck via air bags) that the control unit fell to pieces, wires hanging off and all. The guy had screwed it with very small screws into the plastic under the wheel near my legs. How he thought that would stay Ill never know. Also, the air bags came off the frame in the back, and the whole system leaked after four months. When I called, speed and truck gave me the sub contractors number and passed it off on him, but getting the guy to care was another storyAll in all, nice people but I prefer places that will do good work and stand behind it. This was a really bad job.

I bought a set of amp steps from them and had them install. Best price in the area by far that I could find. Super nice guys there. I worked with max who was supppper helpful and couldnt have made the process go any smoother. I didnt know there was a shop that had that many aftermarket truck parts in stock.

Mike is the man to talk to. Hell give you the best options for what you want to do with your truck, side by side, etc. These guys wont hassle you or give you the run around. Unlike other local shops, if you want a certain product they wont see what they can do to get you the best price, they actually do give you the bet price possible. I stopped going to the shop I used to have to go to after I happened to wander into S&T to have some decals made (which by the way, they also are awesome at doing) and i couldnt believe the great customer service I was given. Hands down the best in town.

I ordered a tow hitch from this store upon recommendation from an auto body repair shop. The exact quote I was given was $200 for all the parts and $150 for the service to have it placed on my car. I went ahead and paid for the parts on my debit card. The initial day I was scheduled to go and get the part installed, I drove all the way up to the shop only to find that they failed to request the hardware to install it. So I ended up wasting time and gas money on a trip for no reason. Then I waited for another few days and when I return, the tow hitch was finally installed, however upon paying, my total FOR SERVICE was $200. I reminded him that he told me it was $150. He said that the ball was extra, which was not disclosed to me up front, and then theres sales tax. Excuse me, but sales taxes apply to products/goods, NOT services. Both my time and money was abused here.

Went today to check some stuff out as I just bought an avalanche 2500, need new rims and tires, grille, and wanted to get a price on a brush guard. Out of about 6 employees not one single person said hello, may I help you, what are you looking for etc.......which really makes me angry. Being polite and greeting the customer is literally the easiest part of any retail job. I will be buying my parts elsewhere from now on.

Interior remodel of the inside of Speed n Truck is great!,plus windows to the shop so you can watch your vehicles transformation is also great. Bought a tuner for my 13 silverado(that was in stock) they installed it because,if it needed updating,they could do it then and there,wich was an unexpected bonus! Tuners are a rather simple,diy thing,but,if it had updates that need installing,that can be a PAIN! So that extra attention to detail is what can help make a shop successful,and a customer happy.Keep up the great work!
