Would be nice if your operating hours were correct. 2x now I’ve walked here and it’s closed 7:30 and says open till 9pm.*EDIT tonight (9-9-2021) about 6:30 pm came in and waited and waited for at least 5 minutes in the lobby with no service. Not a worker in sight. I call the store while I’m the lobby and it goes to voicemail. I call again and this to like a young man answers. I tell him im in the lobby and he says “shoot”It was a young lady and man tonight.Don’t think we will be back

Nice little joint for ice creams, blizzard, slushis etc. always crowded in Summer time. Lots of parking space. service is quick. We go there once in a while during our bike rides with the kids.

Its Dairy Queen, its always delicious. Staff was underwhelming and under enthusiastic about the work so the service suffered.

Work your displayed hours. What’s the point of having them if you won’t be open? Showed up at 7:30 and the store was closed. Not only is the store not open when it should be according to the hours, it also closes entirely too early for a town that has a large night life.Lots of bugs, outdated and generally gross inside when you can get in.

The parfait I ordered had all the chocolate at the bottom and the icecream at the top. The blizzard I ordered was not mixed well and the chunks were giant. The last 2 times I came the orange julius tastes bad and they are not mixxing the icecream in the freezes, they just put the icecream on top. Not sure why they dont know how to make the icecream the same as the other dairy queens.

This is a great place,they know how to take care of you with a fast and delicious ice-cream treat. A must stop

I love this Dairy Queen. Its small and feels like it belongs in a small town. Spring Creek trail runs right by it, and has a small park close by, which is enjoyable to walk through as you eat your ice cream.One warning: If youre often bitten by mosquitos, this place may be uncomfortable for you to visit in the evening. A lot of mosquitos hang out nearby because of Spring Creek.

The web page for this location (south college) states, OPEN SATURDAYS 11am to 10pm. We got there at 9pm and waited out side for our turn (covid 6ft) and 1 couple behind us. At 9:09pm the very rude employee came out to tell us they where now closed and closed at 9pm, again while we where in line waiting. I told her the website states hours are till 10 and she mumbled some BS i couldnt hear and closed the door in our face.. Ive been going here for 40yrs. NEVER AGAIN!!JOSH AND JOHNS ICE CREAM CENTER is open till 10pm. They are at Jessep Farms.. Real ice cream and prices are good,service was GREAT AND FRIENDLY.. Found them tonight after the rudeness at Dairy Queen South College!!

Enjoyed my ice cream, but went in under the impression you could get a free small blizzard for downloading the app in the store. There is a sign near the ordering window that promotes this. I went up to order and asked about it and all three employees made me feel like an idiot and were not helpful at all. I pointed out the promotional sign and asked them to honor it and one employee said, I dont know, that sign is old, not my problem. Very poor service

Absolutely amazing place to get your frozen treats! I have been here many times, and I have never seen a single rat (a few have claimed that this location has several). The staff is wonderful and friendly and always quick! Also, just so you all know, they have new hours for the summer, so they now close at 10:00 pm (I sent in an edit for this page but it has not been approved yet). I will continue to go to Dairy Queen and I hope my review had helped people decide where to go for a delicious treat!

Staff were not very friendly and seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves. We ordered blizzards, shakes and a peanut buster parfait. None of them were filled above 3/4 full. Disappointing.

Stopped in at DQ for my favorite treat yesterday, a cherry dipped cone. At $1.79 for a small, anyone can have this tasty dessert. After I got it, I drove way down in back by the bike trail that runs by the Spring creek, and got out and walked over to a little pickanick table in the wooded area by the creek. Geez, I must be getting old, cause it was fun AND relaxing!

We just go to the local DQ for milk shakes and burgers, which are worth the drive across town. We havent eaten anything else there in years. The facility is the usual DQ, could be better and cleaner, or worse also. Were probably alone in that reaction, as they are always crowded. Prices are good. Employees are busy but polite.

Horrible customer service! We were there in line before they closed at 9. After waiting in the line and getting to the front to order, at 9:02, the young girl at the counter rudely said that they were closed. I let her know that we were there before 9 and had waited in the line. She yelled back that they tired and wanted to go home so they were closed. This is not the way to run a business.

Dairy Queen is always an awesome treat! I love going here with my nephew for an afternoon snack, its the best! Not to mention the products are always good but the staff is always really friendly and nice as well.

Something in my soul prevents me from putting 5 stars on a dairy queen review. I just cant do it. This place brings me back to being a kid and riding my bike 8 miles to get here and 8 miles back with ice cream running down my arm. The nostalgia of the completely unimproved building is palpable. Im saddened by the fact that there are fewer and fewer bikes there and more and more cars. It kind of ruins the fun of a bike-in ice cream cone when most of the people there are waddling in from their air conditioned cars, which they leave running in the parking lot. They should incorporate a bike-in discount or something, theyre right on the spring creek trail after all.

Nice, small ice cream shop, usually a line but expected for the size and location. Doesnt have bathrooms and phone is always on busy, so calling is an issue. Good ice cream though!

Went at 3 p.m. on a Saturday and they had one girl working all by herself. Of course, since it’s Saturday several families and couples were looking to get ice cream, and this poor girl had to take every order and make each item herself. Seemingly terrible management and treatment of employees here. Not to mention, because they only had one person working, it took a half hour to get a simple dipped cone. Nothing good to say about this place.

Finally we arrived, i reached for the iron door that seprated us from ecstasy.. we were in.Chapter 2Greetings from the FrezzerAs we stood in line and waited for our opportunity at greatness we noticed we were being watched, not by employees but by the haunting faces of child posters. Time went on and it was soon our turn, i ordered first. Employee 1, who Ill call Buefurd, was kind, tired after a long day but still kind. I ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard, of course my usual, and favorite. I gave him my card and also a cash tip, i understand long days at work and keeping the customer service up when tired can be even more so tiring, i appreciate it.Chapter 3The Nightmare BeginsShortly after receiving my card i walk away and hear Buefurd give my order to the employee 2, Agnes, who is creating the blizzards, and a response i thought it was a smores. While holding the beginnings of a smores blizzard. I watched this through the window that seperated us in the lobby and thought oh, im sure theyll fix it. I sat down and waited on the bench next to the pickup window until i was given the beauty herself. Yes! I thought to myself, the moment was here... and it passed quickly when i realized that it was still a smores blizzard stuffed with cheesecake to play it off. It was tear enducing.Chapter 4Contemplating DairyI sat with the smores blizzard for about 5 mins; each bite was as disappointing as when Judas betrayed Jesus. As my friend and i walked back home we talked about wether going back would be worth it, we both decided it shouldnt be a problem, easy mistake right? So we walked back and waited in line. My thoughts waiting were pleasant at first but slowly creept to become negative. What if they do make this a problem, i thought. No way, it was pleasant the first time, im sure itll be fine, i carried on. Oh how i was wrong.Chapter 5Crème De La CràpMy turn to the window came, it was Agnes who stood there waiting for me. I approached. Hello, i think i was given the wrong blizzard I said I ordered the royal cheesecake, this is the smores, i spoke in a polite tone. She replies uhhh, okay turning slightly away from me and quickly turning back and asking in a sassy tone why do you think its smores? The earlier imagined situation became true, shes making it difficult. I respond well, i can taste it, you can taste as well if you try it she quickly responds as if she had never spoke of messing up the order earlier its a graham base so thats what its going to taste like. I couldnt believe she was trying to cover up her mistake by lying, it made no sense. I then said well it taste like a smores not the cheesecake agains in a sassy voice she responded its a graham base blizzard, but i can make you a cheesecake blizzard if you want. I gladdy responded yes please in which she just turned away frustrated. I eventually received the blizzard i wanted.EpilogueA Battle Fought and a War WonAs i said in the end i recieved the blizzard i desired in the beginning but, in a more difficult manner. The only reason Im giving the review a two star and not a one is because i had a good intial interaction that couldve kept being pleasant but turned sour because of Anges. Moral of the story dont lie, and dont be an Agnes.

I am a handicapped driver. The other day while trying to get to Tea2Go I used ONE parking space in the EMPTY dairy Queen parking lot because it was close and Tea2Gos handicap spot was taken. The lady working stood in the window staring me down with an awful glare and shaking her head at me. I pulled out my handicap pass, gestured to the taken handicap spot right across from me, and tried to be apologetic. She gave me the biggest eye roll Ive ever seen and continued glaring and shaking her head, so I just decided to go get my tea as I figured she couldnt get a tow truck there by the time I came back. When I entered the tea shop and told the owner what had happened... She said that woman has been known to come out of the dairy Queen and scream and shout at people in the parking lot! What horrible business!!!! That is unbelievably unprofessional, especially for a woman of her age!! I dont plan on supporting this location in the future.

Always fast, and always delightful people working there. My friends and I are always kind of obnoxious and because they handle us with grace and patience I respect them greatly.
