We went into the Trek Fort Collins South store to check out Trek Dual Sport bikes. We were Immediately greeted by salesperson named Bree who offered her help. We were so amazed with her knowledge down to the smallest details of the different products that she showed us. She spent so much time answering our questions and showing us comparisons of products on the Trek website, even though we told her that we were visiting from AZ and were just starting our investigation into this type of bike. She was just so personable, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and just more than i could put into words. She also helped me find some accessories (bike ight, socks, gloves) that I was looking for and purchased. We both walked out of the store and said that we wished that we were ready to order the Dual Sport 4 at that moment through her because she was just such a pleasure to talk to and work with and when we do decide we will see what we can do to order from her at the Fort Collins store and find a way to get the bikes transported back to AZ. We will definitely check it out. We hope that her parents know what a wonderful person and addition to society that they have raised.

I was from out of town, and my bike had several issues. The young man in charge was excellent! He was so polite and accommodating! He was able to fix everything so I could be on the road the next morning! Excellent staff! Excellent service!

Great quality bikes and they have a lot of bike accessories and helmets to choose from. My six year old had a great time picking out his first bike and jazzing it up with a water bottle holder and bell. We also bought a helmet with the MIPS protection which is added protection for your skull. Debbie , the manager, who helped us with his bike was amazing. I highly recommend this shop!

I can’t say enough good things about this store. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve come into the Trek store a few times to test ride different bikes and purchase some accessories. Christina, Claire, and Garrett are exemplary employees and helped us find exactly what we needed. Thanks for all your help, and an especially big thanks to Garrett who installed child seat brackets on both of the bikes we purchased. Will definitely come back and would wholeheartedly recommend to others!

The bikes sell out faster than they can order them. That should tell you something. The Fort Collins staff genuinely care for their customers and have showed that in their dealings with my family and I.

These guys have been great! They helped me select - well verify that my choice was correct - the correct bike for me. We verified the size on their fancy size finder wall mirror app thingie. They set me up with a helmet for the test ride, and had the bike ready to go when I came back to buy it that night.Service was awesome the next time I came for some gear, as they sent me a welcome coupon. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about everything related to mountain bikes. Ive been out of it for 8 years, so I needed a refresher.Great selection of bikes as well - there is a nationwide outage of bikes but these guys have a lot. They were out of the model I wanted though, so I had to settle on another one.

I purchased my marlin 5 a couple of months ago at this location and was very pleased with my experience! So much so, that I brought my wife in yesterday to see if we could find a bike that would fit her. The sales lady, Claire went above and beyond to accommodate my wifes needs and took time (even though we came in right before they closed) to explain everything to us, answer all our many questions, and even special order a seat for her! My wife left with a smile on her face and remarked that is the best customer service I have received in a VETY long time! Taking into account my wifes physical restrictions and making sure she was comfortable was as much Claires focus as it was mine! I loved that we did not feel pressured to buy anything, just assisted and informed in the friendliest way!

The service department went above & beyond my expectations in taking care of a cracked chain stay covered under warranty. I was able to upgrade to a carbon chain stay & the wonderful service advisor Tallon had the part delivered the next day installed ready to ride. Very happy with the service.

Spent many many thousands here on 5 different bikes when it was Lee’s and post transition to Trek. Went in today 3/7/21 ready to buy another bike for my oldest and the female who said she’d be right with me after finishing a current sale just moved on to an older couple. I know the selling is hot for bikes right now and I’m sure somewhere else will gladly take the business.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I had several brands of bikes on my list, but the knowledge, care and service at this store made me decide to stay and now shop around anymore- not to mention that I found a perfect bike for what I was looking for! Great customer service and easy to make a return!

I was unable to synchronize my new heart rate monitor and headlight and taillight on my new Trek Checkpoint bike. I was waiting at the front door this morning at 11am when the store opened. I was greeted by two staff members and Christine, the sales manager, was able to synchronize my computer, heart rate monitor and lights in about three minutes. Will, the service manager on duty, also conducted a thorough bike adjustment to factory specifications. I am just not used to this kind of superior customer service and want to let the world know how much I appreciated this superb response from Christine and Will. Please accept this as my nomination of Christine & Will as the Harmony Trek Superstars for the month of November 2020. Trek South rocks!

Wish I could give 10 stars.I was looking to get into mountain biking again after decades since last riding a mountain bike. During this COVID period, and even prior, bikes in Colorado are very popular and demand is very high.Finding the right sized bike and price point is extremely difficult with any brand let alone Trek. Treks website does a GREAT job in locating the exact model. In my searching, I was continually pointed to Trek Fort Collins South with any kind of inventory in large 29 bikes to at least try out.I was able to visit, try a hardtail aluminum large 29 bike, then a full suspension aluminum large 29 bike and was sold on the full suspension. The only aluminum full suspension they had was a bit pricey for me, so the one I found was out in Salt Lake City.The moral of the story is Trek Fort Collins South agreed to receive the bike from another Trek store out of state, assemble it, and prepare for me to pickup. I also had contacted the other nearby Colorado Trek store locations with ZERO response.I picked it up 9/14/20 and was very pleased with Brian who did the final touch ups and guided me in purchasing additional accessories to start riding immediately.Thanks again!!!

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Went out of their way to help me solve a part problem, even when it would not personally earn them any business. Direct opposite of the experience I had at the Fort Collins North store not 1 hour before this. Definitely will do business with this store again, keep up the good work and continue to treat customers like they matter!

During the quarantine, bike inventory has been at a minimum. However, when I went in to test ride a new bike, Christina was very accommodating and patient. I was allowed ample time to test ride a couple bikes. She was able to answer all my questions and direct me to a bike I think I will really enjoy. I may have to wait a few weeks for the bike I chose, but Im sure the customer service will be there when Im ready.

TL;DR - Customer service at this store is awful. If you really want a Trek bike, skip this store and go to the Fort Collins North store insteadOur experience dealing with the staff at this store has been horrible and the quality of one of the bikes that we decided to keep seems to be poor. My wife and I visited the store to talk to a salesperson about buying a couple of bikes. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but wanted to get some advice from an expert.The salesperson, who was assigned to us when we walked in was impatient and we got the feeling that he didnt want to deal with us - he seemed really put out. Im not sure if he was having a bad day or didnt feel like we were spending enough money to be worth his time. He interrupted my wife when she was trying to ask questions and when I asked for him to tell me more about a particular bike, he merely printed off the spec of the bike and asked me to read it. Thanks... I could have done that at home and ordered a bike online, I was expecting a bit more effort from Trek employees.We left the store having bought two new bikes - it felt like an awful experience, especially after spending over $1500. When I picked up my bike, the experience consisted of the salesperson handing me the bike and a bag full of leaflets. Weve returned the other bike and my wife bought one from the Trek store on the North-side of town where the customer service is excellent and she was given a walk through of the bike, maintenance tips, and had the seat and handlebars adjusted for her height.I have ridden my bike twice and gotten a flat tire both times. I guess I will be going back to this store to get it fixed again. Id love to return this bike and be done with this store, but every other Trek store seems to have low stock levels at the moment.

Bryan was excellent and helped us with everything. Coming from a poor experience at a another store (in my other reviews), we went to find my wife a bike because I currently own a Trek and I love it. Bryan helped us out and was awesome. He explained everything to my wife about the bike, spent time sizing her up, finding accessories, test riding, answering questions, and making sure she was happy. My wife is not very technical and Bryan was very patient. We did not feel rushed at all. He said he was new, but he clearly knew his stuff and we were very happy to have worked with him. We left with an FX3 and are very happy with it.

Everyone at Trek South is friendly and eager to help. Bicycle repair services are outstanding and the team goes above and beyond to deliver world-class service. I couldnt be happier with the service I have received from this store and recommend it with no reservations. They have earned my business.

Went to Trek to purchase some accessories - basket, lights, phone holder. Loved having an appointment, no waiting around. Purchased what I needed then waited about 20 minutes for them to install everything. Excellent Service. Riding home from the store I got a puncture. Took my bike back to Trek a couple of days later and they fixed it free of charge and took about 5 minutes. Trek are awesome!

Got my bike (of a different brand) serviced here and they did an excellent job! Very friendly staff, good prices and great work. The store is really nice, filled with bikes that make me go ohh and ahhh. I will no doubt be back someday to upgrade. This is now my local bike shop, not just because of convenience of location, but overall quality of experience.

Trying to find a new mountain bike as a newbie was WAY harder than I expected, especially during Covid. I tried a few bikes and ended up with the Roscoe 6. After riding it a couple times I really disliked the shifting when going downhill. It was clunky and my feet occasionally slipped off. So the Fort Collins South staff recommended I try the 7. They ordered it for me AND let me keep the 6 until the new one came in (long past the 30 days). Well it came in and I felt the same thing on the test ride so I just kept the 6 but added super grippy pedals. This helped but still wasnt thrilled. I decided to upgrade to the 8 but they again didnt have it. I was tired of driving to FC (from Boulder) so asked if the Boulder store could order it. So the FC store returned the bike and I ordered from Boulder. I loved how the staff (Jimmy, Suzi and cant recall the other womens name) were all non-judgmental and patient with this newbie. Couldnt recommend this store more! Thanks for going above and beyond!

The Harmony Trek store has a friendly, knowledgeable staff! It seems that most of the staff there ride their bikes - theyre not just hourly employees but are passionate about working in a field they enjoy. I was glad to find that it has a neighborhood bike shop feel to it, even though it is a corporate store. The staff there steered me to a just-right bike - one that matches my current levels of fitness and desired engagement. I was able to take it on an extended ride to really get a feel for it - important when youre investing in something for the next 15-20 years! (Clearly I should upgrade my bikes more often, but if its good and its comfortable, why change?) Id happily recommend the store to friends and family!

The manager I worked with helped me get all set up with my bike that I purchased. He fitted me and changed stems 3 times to get the perfect fit for my body size. He went above and beyond what my expectations were. I was very happy with the service and love my road bike. Highly recommended Trek for repairs, purchases, etc.

Experience was great, quick and easy. The communication between Trek locations is great, and Trek Fort Collins South held a bike for me for a few hours after being notified by another Trek location. They let my son ride it around the parking lot, and we were on our way --- with some much appreciated tips and products to help with the thorns in Colorado!

We went into the Harmony store in Fort Collins and were immediately greeted by John. As a family we had a few different needs in regards to purchasing new bikes. John was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He helped us each pick the right bike from our 6 year old, to us novice adults. The store serviced an existing bike we had for another one of our children and John even helped load the bikes into my vehicle. Great service, quality bikes at reasonable prices and a knowledgeable staff.

Everyone was super friendly and when I went to pick up my new bike the lady at the counter was super informative.

Customer service over the phone was spectacular with Bree, she got everything setup before I even got to the store. Once I got to the store the employees had everything setup for me as I had a 2021 Roscoe 6 on hold for me that they needed to put together, it was set to be finished Monday the 20th but mid-day Friday the 17th it was already finished. Christina helped me through the entire process once I was in the store making sure I had everything I needed. She also gave me a thorough break-down of the New Roscoe 6 with all its special features before taking the new bike home. I would highly recommend only going to this Trek in south Fort Collins over by Sams Club, you will not be disappointed.

This review is strictly for the repair shop:I had a less the pleasant experience at Lees. My initial phone call to get a tubeless system set up was great, the employee seemed knowledgeable, was upfront with the cost and called for a follow up after my bike had been dropped off. I was excited to get my new Mountain Bike up and running for the season!The pick-up (and build itself) was not so great. The individual behind the counter did not seem aware of what was going on, they could not find my bike until I provided a picture of what it looked like. I initially did not receive the supplies I brought in until I asked for them back. I was provided old used tools back (not the ones I brought in) the employee told me they worked the same so it shouldnt be a big deal as they could not find the ones I brought in. Unprofessional, but not a deal-breaker until...the work came to fruition.The tubeless set up did not last more then a few hours as one of the valves was not installed correctly. My front tire is currently unusable as the spoke nipples leak air. A quick Google search shows that my valve was not installed correctly as there should not be air in my rim.Hopefully I can find another shop to fix and hit the trails soon!Edit: Went to another shop and they were blown away that this was performed by a shop and not personally done. My tire was incorrectly threaded, what a joke!

Great customer service, took a few days to get through on the phone but was able to get a bike in time for my husbands birthday. Helped me load it in my car and showed me how to take the wheels off and on.

I have been due for a bike update for maybe 15 years. Stopped in to what was available at Lee’s and was pleasantly surprised to see it is a Trek store now. Susie was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable - and NOT pushy - taking her time to answering all of my (now newbie) questions and making sure I had what I needed for the new ride. Not what I don’t.A few days later, the Trek team called to say they had my new road bike all set up with accessories installed and ready to go. Jimmie walked me through the final setup and OMG is it smooth and fast!Being in customer service myself, it’s a pleasure to work with a shop that takes pride in their products and employees - and in providing a quality and memorable customer experience. Can’t recommend them enough.I’ll be back to update my mountain bike very soon!!!!Thanks Trek Team!!

Jimmie Hawkes is awesome! This is my go to bike store now. I always had the idea that this would be your regular expensive store with people who couldnt care less about folks buying sub $1000 bikes, but man was I wrong. They are the most friendly staff, helping you out patiently and making you feel comfortable on your new bike. They are happy to offer their bikes for test rides. They do a great job fitting it for you. I had to go in multiple times to get a dialed in fit for my road bike and Jimmie was thorough and professional. I was not even charged for going multiple times. I bought two bikes from them and will always be back here for any and every bike related purchase I have. Support your local bike store! They are here to help. Jimmie and Christina are the best in the business.

Thank you for only repairing what needed to be repaired.I thought that I might only need a simple adjustment to my rear derailleur.However, I thought you might want to charge me for a minor or major tuneup.I had a major tuneup on this bike within the last year. so I thought it was likely not really necessary.You did only adjust the rear derailleur, and you found that nothing else needed to be done.I really appreciate you doing only what needed to be done, and charging me only a small fee. Ill go back to you for the next work I need done.Thanks!

Trek is a great brand, so its even easier to be a loyal customer, here.The staff at both Fort Collins locations are super friendly, helpful, and they can pretty much answer any question you have about bikes and gear.I have been a customer since the days of Lees Cyclery (the transition wasnt long ago at the time of writing this), and not much has changed. Great bike and gear selection, great customer service, and a great brand, so you cant go wrong.

Im a newbie road biker. I went in to this store, as well as about 5 other local stores, a week ago. Sam in this store was by far the best salesperson I met along my journey. She was extremely helpful, patient, and informative. Like I said, I knew NOTHING walking in for a new road bike. I actually started my hunt with this store first, and learned enough from Sam to properly evaluate bikes from other stores. By the end of the day, the first bike I had found turned out to be the bike I wanted.However, the story doesnt end there. I dont want to get into specifics, but Ill say that I had one of those customer service experiences that will make me a customer of this store for life. There was something a little off with my sale, and this store made it right when they in no way had to. Thank you Sam! Like I told you, youre the best bike salesperson in Fort Collins!

Theyve been around forever (formerly as Lees), and its the only shop in town I use. Ive had nothing but positive experiences there, always being treated with respect even when I was first getting into cycling and knew next to nothing about the sport. Id highly recommend this shop to anyone, from the novice to the hardcore cyclist.
