Ive heard good things and the 5 star reviews here speak for themselves but Ive tried to stop in 4 times in the past few days to buy a kendama and everytime they are closed. Bummed and hope i can stop in soon, would like to support local business.

Ive taken my bike here several times and have had a great experience every time. Jon is friendly and always very honest. I had a new tube and tire put in several weeks ago and the tub popped about a week later (no fault of Jons, just a defective tube). I came back this weekend and even though there is a tube shortage he did his best to try replacing with a smaller tube free of charge. That ended up not working either, but I found a tube at Walmart and he put that on for me, again no charge. I appreciate the great customer service, and will be coming here for any future needs!

Best bike shop an Foco and best kendama shop In Colorado absolute gem of a place and Lawson is incredibly friendly and nice. 10/10 would highly recommend

Today my friend got a flat on Spring Creek Trail. I googled “closest bike shop” and this bike shop came up. It was like 2:56pm and they closed at 3. We showed up right before closing, and John stayed late and changed my friends tire in just a few minutes! So happy they were there!! Highly recommend and will be back for future bike work.

Lawson Cycles is my new go-to bike shop. I have a bit of experience working on the basics on my bikes and when I blew a flat unexpectedly and didnt have any tools John kindly allowed me to use his, and the space in his shop, and was super kind and friendly to me. His shop is really awesome: gorgeous layout and tidy with lots of shiny beautiful parts, tools, tubes, kits, all kinds of sweet bike stuff. I will definitely be back and am so grateful to John for his assistance and compassion.

This is the best place in fort Collins to bring your bike. John is amazing and honest I appreciate them and they are the only place where my wife and I take our bikes for any repairs, tune-ups and basic service questions.

Have taken multiple bikes here now and have had good experiences each time. I feel like theyre very honest- several times I expected to need to make a purchase but was advised that it wasnt necessary. The service has always been reasonably priced. Plus, theyre really NICE.

Bought a very nice bike from this gentleman yesterday. He was incredibly polite and helpful. You can definitely see that he loves what he does.As for the bike, it is everything I could have asked for. Horrible job and very expressive. I bought a tube and it popped on the way home. I called and he said maybe I hit a thorn oh and he left the nuts that hold my tire loose. I got it home and realized that one of the nuts had completely fallen off because when I went to lift my bike into my house the front wheel fell off.

John (the owner) is a great guy and extremely helpful with finding the right parts for my bike. We tried removing the bottom bracket on an older bike but the threads were seized. He didnt charge me anything extra for the effort. It is a super central location (right off the bike trail) and as a new owner of a fixie I will continue to visit this semi-specialized shop.

This is long overdue but John at Lawson Cycles is outstanding. He was very professional and extremely helpful. He loves what he does and he does a great job doing it. You will be very pleased with your purchase, at least I was.

The 5 star overall rating is very justified. Albeit a small shop, the inventory is still great. If youre looking for a local BMX shop, theres really no better place to go. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. If you want something thats not in the shop, hell get it for you. You wont be over charged for labor, or pushed to buy items you dont need (which is all too common in almost every other bike shop).Whether youre a beginner, intermediate, or professional, you can get what you need here, and spend some time chatting with John while youre there.I cant personally comment on the selection outside of BMX, but Id imagine its in the same ballpark.I just hope that one day the store can grow and expand into other areas of cycling. Im mostly a mountain biker, so seeing some dirt jump equipment would be the last check mark on my list.

Awesome selection of Kendamas and BMX parts. John is very friendly and easy to talk to. Extremely knowledgeable and can answer almost all of your questions. After my visit last week, I wont be buying bike parts or damas from anywhere else but here.

I couldnt have asked for a better first time buying directly from a bike shop. The owner, Jon, is pleasantly polite and knowledgeable. He is not at all pushy to sell; hed rather you know what youre buying than sell you something youd be unhappy with. I was on the fence about getting an 18 vs 20 BMX with my short stature, but he was confident that a 20 would work fine for me for several sound reasons. I ended up splurging on a higher end entry-level Sunday Primer on my own accord. Jon was able to order the Kelly Green, 20.5TT version at no additional cost to me (MSRP + tax). I only had to wait about a week for it to be shipped and delivered to the store, and Jon was quick to assemble it for me as soon as it arrived.Based on my two experiences inside the store with Jon, I will definitely be coming back for any maintenance or repairs that I may need in the future.
