Place is pretty dope. The instructors are great and down to earth people. Conceal and Carry class was fun. Specially when a kid showed up with an AR-15 to qualify and the instructor held back laughter. All around hilarious and informative experience. The staff as well are all great laid back individuals.

John is the best range officer I have ever met. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Drove up from the citys to try this range out, will make the drive every time to shoot at this range. Its employees like John that will make this business flourish. Thanks John!!!!

I originally posted a negative review but was surprised to get a call back AND a sincere desire to help ease the issue. I appreciate very much the conversation and willingness to hear about the problem from my point of view. I think it took some caring and concern to want to have a conversation to begin with and they do really care about the satisfaction of their customers.

Phenomenal range, very clean. Staff is knowledgeable and the saftey rules are easy to follow and reasonable. Only wish it was a little bigger!

THE BEST INDOOR RANGE PERIOD. The rebuilt range looks AMAZING! You will not find a better range or staff within 500 Miles. Great day rates for such a high quality range! But if you plan to come more then 1 time a month a membership is your best bet. The staff are all veterans and/or extreme gun enthusiasts. If they don’t know, they will figure it out for you. Very fair and accommodating. Tons of fun firearms to rent for good prices as well. Only bad thing is they are currently low stock on firearms (like the rest of the gun world). Tons of ammo for the range though.

Extremely helpful and courteous. Gun range attendant, John, I believe, is patient and knowledgeable. Heads above the other gun range just north of there. Best Defense is now my choice.Cant say enough good things about the knowledgeable veteran owners who recognize the importance of masking up during this pandemic, unlike the owners and employees of the range/mini-storage north of them. Also BDA is MUCH more economical.

Shot here alot until one of their vips complained my muzzle break on an ar15 was to loud and I was advised not to return.

Purchased firearm February 6th, paid $50 shipping fee as I am WI resident, it is now February 21 and they have yet to ship it. Last business I do here and I have shared my experience.

I recently purchased a Mossberg shotgun from them. A great group of people work here. They took the time to find out what I was looking for, answer my questions and help me make a decision. They even gave me a military discount! What impressed me the most is I received a phone call from Corrina the next day and was told that I was charged too much and to expect a refund when I pick up my shotgun. I had already picked up the shotgun for close to a $100 cheaper than anywhere else and now I get it even cheaper! They can expect my business in the future.

This is my go to gun range. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The range is clean and you dont have to walk on thousands of shell casings. The range ammo price is reasonable and there is a huge selection of rental guns. Every time I have been there I feel welcome.

These guys extremely helpful. The quality of the range of great. Smart group of guys. Helped me tighten up stocks, sights, and helped me fix an issue with my scope.

I recently went to a gun safety class there, the staff are very knowledgeable, patient, and have a ton of experience.

The best gun store in the Forest Lake area (Id dare say in the Metro) Ben and Joe run a tight ship. Prices are fair, and they can damn near get you anything you want. The range is great, small, but theyre planning to expand I hear.

Worst firearm purchasing experience Ive ever had!!! Bought a sig mpx copperhead brand new in the BOX that was put in my name before the background check even came back so when i decided i wanted something different (within 24hrs) i was told to late...ok so i dealt with it and returned to pick up my newpurchase i noticed the stock was all scuffed up and scratched and a small ding in the upper receiver to which i was told i should have inspected it better before i bought it... Well i did and it wasnt like that before now Im stuck with a beat up gun and no customer care or satisfaction,i will tell everyone i know about this place but it wont be good things! Not another red cent from me or mine EVER AGAIN!

Second time in shop i shot and was having troubles with my ar 15cycling chuck was great and took the time to help me. The customer service was excellent.

Treated Rude by sales staff, they seem to be interested more and talking with themselves then actually given helpful information. Employees do not know the difference between ammunition types, are willing to spread misinformation.

Its a great range but thats were it ends. The guns are over priced. They put metal sights on a glock17 that broke off.they charged 40 dollars to loc-tite and bore site a scope that was 8 inches of 15 yards and they said it was set and tighen to specs
