I am no plumber and I had a kitchen faucet install that required a number of adapters. The friendly and patient staff at ACE HARDWARE helped me find the appropriate adapters so that my water lines could be connected to my new faucet. Very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommend them over any of the big stores such as Menards, Lowes and Home Depot.

The most awesome place! Whatever you need, every employee goes above and beyond to help. I have went here over 25 years and never was disappointed. For example- today a wire broke in my jeep for my window in wire harness. An employee came out to my car, gathered the supplies and repaired it for me in 5 minutes. A $225 fix at the dealer was $1.27 and some laughs. Thank you Tompkins hardware!!!

Not only is this a well stocked hardware but the personal working there have fun friendly attitudes. It can be fun just to go in and talk with them they have helpful knowledge about products and ideas for your projects, a couple of them are humorously playful with sarcastic comments towards each other (and you if you try to play.) They treat you like part of the family! Well, if you like your family!

Ive been going to this hardware store since I was a little kid to get gumballs with my friends, its apart of the community but not only that its staff are super handy and knowledgeable theyll make you feel right at home and get you in and out in no time.

I love the feel of this hometown store. Friendly staff, always a smile and polite greeting coming through the door. Great selection and plenty of help when needed. This is definitely my go-to hardware over the big box stores.

Good alternative to the giant hardware stores. Even though this store is smaller in size, they still have a little bit of everything. It makes it easier to get in and out, and usually faster. Okay prices on most things, but deals in their flyer make up for it, if they happen to have something you need at the time.

Tompkins Hardware is a great place to pick up pretty much anything you are working on. Plus the employees are allways nice and knowledgeable. And can usually give you some helpfull hints on your next project.

I went in for suet for the bird area at my house. Bought 7 rather than one cake of a because of the really low price of $.69 each. Normally I purchase suet and bird seed at Doogies due to their usual low prices and how fast suet is sometimes eaten by the birds I feed. I am thankful for the discount price. I priced some prices for miracle grow and other bagged soil helps. May come back tomorrow for that.
