So, I just moved from NYC after 6 years about 7 months ago and felt like we were moving to a bit of a quality food desert. The dalgona drinks, the soup street sandwich, and the strawberry souffle fluffy pancakes (which were perfectly and fully cooked, no raw center) have me the first feeling of its gonna be okay. Seriously delicious, quality food and cute shop with friendly employees.

I have been searching for a cafe like this in a very long time in WA state, Ive discovered this cafe recently in federal way. The place is gorgeous from outside to inside, I came here before but with the NEW management and NEW renovations, this is a whole new level of design and cafe in Korean town.The soufflés are really pretty, my favorite is the original.The Seoul Street sandwich is so good, it is a MUST GET item. The sandwich is unique, perfect size and the flavor was very good.Their drinks are good.Im definitely coming back here again, it would be my go to cafe in federal way

I don’t know what is wrong with this place, every time I come here and ask for something, they don’t have it. Today I asked for the butterfly drink, because I can’t drink coffee, and the person working there didn’t give me other options.

Pleasant, attentive staff. Made the food (on a grill) to order. Not prepackaged and warmed in a microwave. Nice surprise. Clean, comfortable, simple coffee house decor. Worth a try. Not a big menu but very good.

Staff is friendly and nice. There deserts are good. strong coffee.

I originally gave a 5 star review but the garden bagel was nasty and the girl that made it didnt change her gloves I prefer the korean guy. Plus she overcharged me they charge u a dollar for cup.

Cafe Remix is 50% of the reason we have been coming to the Commons for the past 6 months. YOU MUST HAVE THE FLUFFY PANCAKES! But, understand that this is a boutique style coffee house. The food and the drinks are hand crafted with intense scrutiny so it can take a little bit to get your food. But its worth waiting for.

Nice staff, but we have been here for an hour and still don’t have our Japanese pancakes. They have us our butterfly drinks after 30 minutes but they literally taste like water, had them replaced with chai latte which are good. They need more staff, 30 plus minutes for drinks is crazy.

First time here. Working in the Fed Way/Auburn area for the day and it’s hot outside. So looking for a nice spot to sit, eat and work, haven’t been the the Commons before. Walking in, the cafe is beautifully welcoming, clean and comfortable. Sweet music, perfect temperature. Staff is very down to earth, personable, overall great service. Matcha Dalgona - my mouth is in heaven. If you like matcha lattes or milk tea, you may love this… more. Delicately creamy blends well with the thin milk over ice, and mmm that hint of toffee just hits the spot. So glad I also went with the Seoul Street sandwich. Feels like a nice homey Korean variation from normal boring cafe sandwiches. Only issue is that I’m licking the delicious sauce from my fingers while trying to work on my computer. Adding this place to my favorites and looking forward to coming back with the fam for the soufflés!

Their Japanese pancakes are AWESOME! Its the only place Ive found that makes them and theyre delicious

Went in at 11:40 am on Wed it took 2 girls to make 2 bagels an hour. They said it would be a little bit but never expected that long. Had them put to go after I finally got the food. Never againIf you want to sit for awhile its perfect.

Stopped by our old “after a morning flight into Seatac breakfast place” which was closed due to Covid. I found Cafe Remix online and immediately knew I had to try the fluffy soufflé pancake, well it is as amazing without the syrup as it looks and “V” knows what she is doing!! My husband got Soeul Street Sandwich. We shared both items as we were so hungry! This place does not disappoint at all! You guys gotta check this amazing cafe out if you want to eat right!! Had the Seoul Street Sandwich and it smelled and tasted really good! One thing I loved is that the food was made-to-order, which unfortunately means you might have to wait a little longer for your food, but it’s totally worth it.

Service is pretty good, chai tea latte awesome but flat white 🙄watery.They dont have all the souffles flavors 👎

Cashier is nice but their menu is very pricey, and their drinks wasnt all that amazing. The souffles looks good but it takes at least 25mins to wait. Not worth it, especially with the new COVID rules.

Its good food, staff and coffee - but the customers from the construction site dont wear masks. The staff do, but masks arent enforced so it is hit or miss safety wise. But normally good, and construction will end at some point.

Super wonderful atmosphere 💕 We got the butterfly 🦋 Italian 🇮🇹 soda which wasnt overwhelming and much appreciated & the oat milk cappuccino = accommodating and delish!🥳

Ordered 12oz latte while two guys working. Waited for 20 minutes and no latte. I talked to one of the employees about my latte. He starts making it which took less than 3 minutes. Thank you for wasting my 20 minutes.

A few minutes after we ordered, a customer complained about the wait time and demanded a refund. I felt terrible seeing that and understand that no employee wants to experience that. 30 minutes later, were frustrated from the wait... for 2 drinks and a breakfast sandwich. After we realized that a new customer had recieved their order quickly, we too asked a refund. The barista didnt seem to know we ordered! WOW. Do these employees not communicate or keep track of in progess orders? The employee who ringed us up was still wandering around. My date left hungry. I felt awful for suggesting this spot.

Very friendly atmosphere, lots of seating with an open floor plan. Good access for disabled people. Quick to order and receive drinks and food. There is a board for people to post info if you ask.

A little expensive but well worth it.

I’ve been in 3 times and the baristas are kind and social. Coffee is great. But the atmosphere is what sets it apart. Chill music, cozy furniture and setting. Easy place to study or read in, not too much stimuli hitting you over the head, but enough to be a nice joint to relax in.

Walked in expecting Honor coffee. Then I noticed all the logos are covered with bright blue post it’s, Costco items in place of baked goods, and nothing on the walls. Ordered coffee anyway, paying $9 for two lattes, that mind you are Honors pricing for Olympia coffee roasted coffee beans. Who knows what this was, the barista was not nearly as trained and the coffee was lousy. I will stick to drive through a for this level of coffee and save a few dollars. Also sad that Federal Way can’t maintain a high end coffee shop.

I ordered a black sugar boba tea and I got an avocado boba smoothie. it costed over $6 which was more than the menu listed, and more than I’ve ever paid for at sharetea or other cafes for one drink. i wouldn’t be too upset at the pricing if the drinks and service were actually any good. on top of that it took at least 10 minutes to make and only one other customer’s drink was being tended to at the same time. but i really love the interior so i wish it was a place worth my money.

They tried to charge me more for my drink than what was stated on their menu board... The environment of the place however is nice.

Paid starbucks pricing for not even hot drinks that taste like they just were cooked with hot water from the sink. yah no thanks

Coffee is not bad but over-priced and very slow because most of the time there is only one employee, Honors was better and the employees were actually social. Remix employees have literally nothing to say.

Great coffee, peaceful setting, and the new owners made sure everything was on par! My new favorite coffee joint!!!

I was at the mall and stopped in for a quick coffee. I was charged $8.42 ($11 for tax/tip) for a 16oz americano /flavor and a pre-packaged (Uncle Seth’s brand) cookie. When I asked why so much I was told the cookie was $4.99! The woman working the grill said they were 2 for $5.00 but the barista/cashier confirmed they were $5 each.I then asked to have the cookie taken off of my bill before I paid. I was told that because their manager was not there that they couldn’t take the unopened cookie off of my bill before I paid. 😣Coffee turned out to be O.K. & very mild flavored-even for an americano. Cookie was hard and stale.I’ve added a star to my original 2 star review for convenience, ambiance and the fact that one employees did try to help. I would suggest to the new owners to put price stickers on or near your pre-packaged food and to train or allow your staff to operate the cash register to add/remove items if the customer changes their mind before purchase.The food I saw being prepared looked good so you might want to give it a try. If you really enjoy a good, strong cup of coffee, there are better options in town.
