I used self check out and there was only 1 cashier/employee to help with check out questions. I usually use self check out and understand how it works. Alcohol (wine) needs a cashier code and I was ignored.

I mean, its a Walmart. Nothing too fancy about it. Came here for some baby clothes as they have tiny little baby sweat shirts and sweat pants that are good for the winter. Theyre about $4 a piece. Its a pretty good deal. Highly recommend as the material and thick and soft.Also if your children like Danimals, Walmart is the cheapest place to get it.

The store is nice but the pharmacy is a bunch of lazy people. I brought my RX at 530pm before close at 6pm and they said they couldn’t fill it because it would take until 5:45pm for it to “go through”. It seems like they just didn’t want to fill it and go home. I had to go to another pharmacy with no issues.Also I tried to pay for another item when filling another prescription a few weeks earlier at their counter and the lady got mad at me for asking her if she can ring up my item same time I pay for my prescription. Pharmacy sucks here!

I could not believe how bad service actually was. They had 2 registers open to beginn with. Once it was my turn, I was asked if I was buying bags. I had brought in my own due to charge. I was shocked when she handed me my bags and then started to hand me my groceries for me to pack. When I left the store I was stopped due to my having my own bags. Had to pull out my receipt and it was checked. Will not shop there anylonger.

Again every Walmart that I visited in Tacoma Washington is I would have to stay up to par as far as legal but when it comes to again theyre LPS and their security guards theyre very hovering theyre very judgmental very discriminative and very judged and very intrusive I guess I should say which is not a good thing LPS supposed to stand at a distance not to follow a person around and make them feel like theyre broke or like theyre not good enough to be in there theyre shopping center if you want my opinion if you cant handle your lost prevention I mean you have to have outside security hired then you probably shouldnt be running the store if you want my opinion so I think that it all comes back to the owner and corporate me even being so I havent been able to be involved in my businesses lately so please dont take that as any part of me thank you because if it was mine if it was my choice I wouldnt have happened my way

Staff isnt the best. But always great on clearance items and most items in stock at times. Usually buy about $150-$200 in clearance items. Retail around $400-$600 in full retail. Definitely one of the best ones for season clearance shopping.

Pretty good overall experience. Except for the card only self checkouts in which make wait times longer in regular check out lines when im only buying a couple little boxes of sports cards. Id rate it 3.5stars but half stars arent allowed here..

I would give a negative rating if I could. Placed a order online knowing they got a shipment in last night. Get part way there to pickup and they canceled it claiming no stock. We all know the associates picked it clean before the customers orders are filled. NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN. I would rather shop target and pay more at least they honor orders.

The new Walmart app makes shopping so easy. I usually order my organic produce from a subscription box service, but the quality has been getting worse. I decided to order some groceries from Walmart and was pleasantly surprised. I just ordered and picked a time window. Parked in the designated area, notified them of the parking stall via the app, then popped the trunk. It really is as easy as they show in the commercials. No lie.Oh, and no issues with quality so far.

I work for a different Walmart so I understand supply chain issues and all, but the stock levels here are all over the place. In particular the frozen section by the fries was pretty much entirely out. My store is not a supercenter and this one is and they dont have the people to keep fries stocked?

Very friendly staff was having a hiring event .they take there time to help with returns nicely.

Sam Walton would be firing every Store Manager for not allowing Semi or Rvs stay overnight in their large , lit parking lots. No reason not to but these chumps wont allow you to stay overnight like you use to . Shame on you guys. Target seems to have no problem with it. That were we are going to shop from now on.

We went early on a Saturday and the greeter was very nice. Store was kept rather clean considering the long hours it keeps. Some areas looked like it needed restock, but its understandable being very busy.

Went to optic center with my daughter. The were very friendly & helpful. The gal chatted us up for awhile & made recommendations for getting my lenses tinted.Afterwards, we went to look for a few things in the hardware department. The sales clerk there helped me locate the staples in the locked case.

It would be nice to see a fair wage and benefits from this multimillion corporation ..would think doing the right thing wouldnt be so difficult......stock is always doing good in consideration of times and not losing money....

I shopped at Walmart a couple of years ago and it was the worst experience I have had. So I have waited a couple of years to try it again, it is no better. I really dont know why people shop there. As far as low prices go,The Shelf says one thing and you check out its another. They dont even check the prices they just say oh well and take it off.Worst customer service ever.

Many empty shelves in the department area. Food side had many choices. I liked Spanaway better. Its Walmart. Cheap, and cheap. Exactly what you expect.

This is the best Walmart because they have everything for your needs.

For a while now, we havent been able to pay with cash at the self checkouts. The only way to pay with cash is to get into an ungodly long line or try customer service I have given most of my business to stores that dont penalize me for wanting to use cash. They could at least make an express lane for an option

I came to get brand new tires and was given two different quotes. I chose the cheaper one obviously, it was still more than I wanted to spend but was cheaper than other places. What they didnt include was the taxes and other fees that they add on so when I went to pay it was WAY more than I wanted to spend, I had to pay it since they already put the tires on and on top of that I had to wait 3 hours before they even pulled my car into garage. When I asked how long it would be they told me 45 minutes to an hour. Other than that I was able to do some shopping and they have cute clothes at a good price. Wal-Mart is a great for getting everything all in one spot.

I normally love shopping at Walmart but ever since the Pandemic Started it seems like they rarely have prices on most things or the prices are messed up and the major thing is they dont have much of what I need in stock! I dont like having to go multiple places to purchase everything I need. Other then that I love shopping here! Most of the employees are extreamly friendly and helpful!

Everything is locked up. Even cheap socks. They had to take them to a check stand wouldn’t let me put them in my cart. When I’m done shopping it’s the only checkout open and a ton of people in that line so I went to self checkout no cash by the way but asked lady there to grab my socks and she came back with wrong ones. The hassle I have to go through to buy socks is insane. If shoplifting was illegal this would be a reason why I’m never coming back here.

Shelves in disarray, limited selection on items that are usually there. This isn’t surprising when there are supply chain issues, but to see so many employees standing around but not helpful. , 3 employees playing in the pet section- sharing posts on their phones and then pretending to straighten when someone comes down the aisle. No one manning the secured make up area. When I asked for someone to come release a locked product, noons came. Convenient location but I dread going here.

Staff is okay. Door greeters knock it out of the park during night shift. But when it comes close to close of the store for the day, as a wheelchair user FORCED to use self checkout with limited mobility, as so many customers where going through they flat out ignored me with requests to help scan my items. Cleanliness of the store is good, however have had 2 instances of having to report spills to staff multiple times during those visits to get a clean up or sign untill it can be cleaned up. Bathrooms are good and mostly clean (depending on hour of visit.) I am pleased though at the adequate lighting at night around the store for safety concerns.

Used to be great, now its hard to even get a cart. I dont know if the cause is because they dont have cart pushers in the parking lot or what, but had to lug around huge items because no carts were readily available.For the most part employees are nice, but good luck trying to find one to open something for you. They keep their batteries locked up and it was nearly impossible to get someone to come unlock the case for us. Took about 20+ min for someone to notice wed been clicking the button and looking around for someone to help.Self check out is handy, but having only one person there to work slows it down, had to wait 10+ minutes for an ID check for a case of beer.

This Walmart is a good spot for federal way shopping. The store is stocked pretty good but because of the patronage lots of items are locked up and sometimes help is tough to find because they are helping others.Good for grocery shopping, although the freezer section is at the back instead of the front.Things are on the shelves so dont forget to look at the top shelf before you guess its not there, send like management for ok at ordering but sometimes things dont get out to grab able shelves.Over all good spot for weekly shopping every store has its issues this one has less than most its pretty good

I shop at this store very often. The customer service in this store has declined over the few years. I went into this store to pick up a drill. I wanted almost 45minutes for the drill to be taken out of their lock cases. Within that 45minutes 3-4 employees walked passed and said they would send someone . Don’t lock the items if you aren’t willing to open the case!

This WalMart was a lot better than the Walmart in Renton. The store was cleaner.

It had what I needed at an amazing price.

Lots of parking. Its hard to find someone to help you in the store. Clean lots of options. I like that i have a bigger selection of gluten free. Some other healthy products also. However not much sugar free. Of course lines are usually long not many cashiers. The self check is cards only. We have to wait in line when we have cash.

Satisfaction is guaranteed for me at this store front therefore; I drive from the space needle downtown every two weeks for all things home.

This Walmart needs better management. Store was nasty and there were no carts available. I understand we have a pandemic going on but I have never seen another Walmart like this. My wife and kids tried to use the restroom and every commode in the womens bathroom was backed up. They said as well there was paper and used feminine products in the floor of the bathroom.

Very big Walmart it must get stolen from a lot because I was watched from the second I walked in the door until I walked out what a waste of Securities time. I think it is my style that attracts unwanted attention when I am an honest hard-working citizen who feels honor and pride in owning his items not stealing them. I am not going to change well I like to wear or how I talk Norwalk just to look a certain way for security let them keep wasting their time.

Second time this week I’m literally standing around 25+ minutes ringing a button for an associate to come unlock something but yet AGAIN they’re looking for the person with the keys 🙄 I don’t think shoppers have that much time to deal with confused associates. I just waited 15+ minutes for nobody to come to unlock regular AAA batteries so I left and now I’m in makeup waiting another 25+ minutes waiting for someone to find keys. Can’t make this up at this location. Same thing happened in makeup last week it’s a joke I think they like to play at this point

This store location has really gone down in the last year. Got there and there were no carts available even though the store was not that crowded. Hunted for 15min before we found one. The shelves were not stocked and they were out of a good amount of items. Checking out was quick and easy and there is ample parking.

As far as the store itself goes, there Walmart brand versions are great prices and almost identical to the name brands. However, the customer base at this store is horrific. Homeless people yelling, obnoxious children unattended, and worst of all cart droppers. I know the store has little control over this, but still dampers the situation of simple grocery shopping. Competing stores may be a bit more expensive, but seem to have less of an issue

Just your average Walmart for the most part. I am from Spokane, WA and we have Walmarts there too so to me this store wasnt much different. I was happy that the door greeter actually greeted us and talked to us on the way out as well. A lot of the time they dont say a word when I go to the Walmarts in Spokane. So keep up the good work!

I rarely come to this Walmart because its not in my neighborhood, however, they have great customer service!. My online order wasnt ready but a customer service representative and her lead helped me return my online order and take the items off the shelf so I wouldnt have to make another trip. Many times prices are worth to shop. However, if you shop WIC, you might get frustrated. They dont have WIC sign on their prices as supposed to be. Very hard to shop. I had to scan each item. Wasted so much time.

Set up different from the store I would usually go to but close off the freeway and easy in and out. Had most stuff but not too much help around that could answer questions. I needed a price check on something and two gals said there was another on with a phone to do so, hollared out for her and went about their business without seeing if she showed up it not, which she didnt. I eventually found a young man coming around the corner who happened to have a phone but was not logged in yet as he had just gotten to work. But he logged in for me and did the price check for me on two items and I finally got what I needed and one about my way. Otherwise store had quite a bit of stuff and it was indecent shape and not a total disaster for that late at night so was a good trip for me. Got the fee items I needed that I didnt want to go out of my way for to another store and found a couple extra things I could use while there...

Right now the lowest gas prices anywhere. I love the huge selection, I truly can find EVERY THING at Wal-Mart. I know people object about the products from China, but this is how economys run. I do not like their bakery cake - something off with the cake and Icing is not good. Their French bread is also weird. Better off at Safeway or Fred Meyer for bakery items.

Locked store with no rhyme or reason, 11 dollar jeans locked up 30 dollar jeans just sitting out. If youre going to annoy your customers put some thought into it, make sense.

Oh boy google, do you REALLY want to know? The kind helpful sales clerk who finally assisted me, gets 5 stars. I placed an order of several items online. One of them a pickup which I was not anticipating but said WTH How bad can it be? If I had only known.First off, the area for pick up is a bit confusing and not clearly marked. Yes, there is a sign a top the building that reads PICKUP but their drive-thru pharmacy is also located right under it. A few signs would have been helpful.Second, the pickup requires you download the Walmart app, I found out AFTER I pressed the check in button on the email. Would have been nice if I had been informed in my order confirmation so I could have done that in advance.Since it was taking a while for my cell to download the app I called the number instead which was the other option. The number rang forever, finally, after a while someone picks up puts me on hold for 10 Minutes and line goes dead. They hung up. Called again, another 10 minutes and line goes dead, again.Gave up, was forced to go inside, which I wanted to avoid because I hurt my leg. So I limp all the way around the massive building, go inside, ask the lady at the door about pickups who points to a massive locker, middle of the store.Nope. My Order is not in there. See a sales clerk who was pulling some items with a cart passing by. She repeatedly scanned my code from my email on my phone, told me She could not find my order. She gave up scanning , typed it in. Nope. Still could not find it. So she asked me to take a seat & went all the way back inside the warehouse and within a few minutes came out with my item.Had it not been for her assistance I would have cancelled my order.Before I left I noticed another poor lost soul with the same look on her face by those lockers. First and last time doing pickup at this store. You are ALMOST there Wal-Mart. Get it together!

Its clean its a nice store the employees tho, thats a whole new story its like they hate there jobs. I also dont like the fact that because Im a brown skin girl I get my receipt checked at the door every time . I have to have my receipt on hand and ready to flas it at them once they ask it gets so irritating like Im not at Costco Im at Walmart and if your going to check me then check everyone else.

Used the drive thru to pick up prescription, I like the convenience, however it takes a lot longer than going in.

If i could give it minus 5 stars I would. Their customer service was terrible! They were rude, unknowledgeable, standing around but no help whatsoever or literally walked away with out acknowledging I was even talking to them. Waited nearly 20 minutes for 2 employees to finish their nonworking related conversation right in front of me & a 3rd employee at the front of the store even though the 3rd employee ask them to help me to my car numerous times & even after that they both tried to just walk away without helping until she raised her voice to them, then he acted mad all the way to my car like i bothered him or put him out in some way? They had nothing stocked on the shelves & everything I wanted not there or packages had been ripped open & missing items! I found this place so unpleasant that I just wanted to leave & besides being upset about not getting the things I needed & being treated so rudely, I was upset that I waisted my time & gas going there!

All Walmart stores are an experience in Super Market shopping. This store maintains, even exceeds that statement. It is one of the busiest in the state. Seldom do I find inventory low...though it happens. If you can not find what you need gave an associate check another store. Chances are you will find what you are looking for. This particular store is centrally located in Tacoma, rght off of Highway 16, on Union Street.

Had a great rare experience here at this Walmart. I ended up here almost 15 minutes close to closing and needed my passport photos taken. The gentleman here with the name of Dreshawn still helped me get my photos done instead of having me return all the way back the next day. Thanks Dreshawn.

Little selection of mens wear. Most pants are locked behind glass and you cannot tell the sizes well at all. Walmart has become not a good place to shop now.
