A nice clean supermarket where it doesnt take all day just to go through a line.

It was our first time in food lion. There was really good fresh fruit and veggies. Foods were cheap. We really liked shopping there. Going there next time too.

Store is always clean and neat. Friendly cashiers. Produce pretty fresh. Prices much higher than other supermarkets but you get quality and you get what you pay for.

Never enough cashiers... yet never seen the self-checkout open. How many cashiers could have a job if youd put that money into employees?!

All was good. Cashier got me and brought me to her empty line and was very pleasant.

Did not have any diet sodas at all. Or at least none other than one expensive brand the shelves were bare

Easy to shop and pick up items that I need quickly. They have a great selection of items and their wine section is so well organized! Wish that their prices were a little bit more competitive compared to Aldi, Target and Walmart--or else I would definitely shop here more often.

Better than walmart

Tell me why the phone rings and rings and then hangs up??!! I called three times. It rings till the cows come home (the cows never come home) and then it sounds like it gets picked up but no-one says hello. But I do day hello several times. It just hangs up. And, I bet all the tea in China, and all the money in the world, these people will not even know I have left a comment. Either get the phone fixed or stop turning of your phone system. And now I cant even ask if you sell a certain product. By the way people, notice that the manager NEVER reads the comments because there are NO RESPONSES. I will call corporate tomorrow and let them know that.

The store itself is fine & most of the staff is pleasant. The big problem I have with it is the number of panhandlers, transients, and muggers that roam their parking lots near their entrances. Sometimes you go there and theres 1-2 at each entrance, theres people roaming the parking lot accosting you for things begging for food & money (one person was wearing more jewelry on them than i had groceries in my cart). Especially true on weekend nights or an hour or so before closing.

They didn’t have crawfish, but I do enjoy the variety of foods they sell, in comparison to what the commissary has.

They have the best selection of cakes for any occasion

Lately Ive been getting alot of items that were expired and also bread that was molded! That really pisses me off, I shouldnt have to check expiration dates and such while grocery shopping.

This is probably the cleanest food lion in town, and also one of the best stocked. It feels more like a grocery store, than a large convenience store and Ive yet to see it really busy. It should be, easy to get in and out of lots of parking 🅿.

Horrible location. Employee blocking entrance while talking to friends. Employees blocking entire aisles while stocking. Cashier was rude and never spoke to me and kept turning around to talk to another employee, laughing and joking, making it take forever to check out. Will not shop at this location again.

It bothers me to see the lack of concern for the customers, as well as, the staff. We are in the midst of a deadly pandemic, yet the management and other employees are walking around without masks, nor, gloves. This shows a total disregard for all of our safety. Food Lion is making money hand-over-fist, but yet, you wont provide the necessary tools to ensure the safety of employees and customers. Disgraceful!!

I wish Food Lion would get self checkout. I dont know how many times Ive come in here, one register is open, and there are 2-3 employees just milling about, talking, laughing, chillin, while Im waiting behind 2 customers with carts full of stuff, and I only need to purchase 2 or 3 things.Please, Food Lion. Youd save money with self checkout versus paying your employees to stand around and do nothing.

I guess Ill keep my business at Harris Teeter. Store wouldnt take my credit card to pay for my gift card. These places drive me nuts. They cant keep their employees trained and get them to ID people properly, so they stop accepting credit in general. I dont have this problem at Publix, Harris Teeter, HEBs, Kroger, etc.

Cashiers are absolutely rude. I attempted to bring this to the cashiers attention and all she could say is do you have a food lion reward card. I again asked her how she was doing and she still refused to acknowledge me as a customer.

Its a very clean store. Foods look fresh, shelves always fully stocked neatly. Prices are what they are. Overall customer service is awesome, pleasant and swift. They walk with you to show you what you are looking for, vs saying... example: its over there on the right near yhe bottom.
