I had my clutch replaced prior to a cross country drive last year. I made the trip with no issues and my clutch still works perfectly despite the constant starting and stopping on hills where I am now stationed. Although the initial install ran into issues with what was thought was needed to complete the repair, they did not charge me extra on the additional parts and completed the work in a timely/professional/excellent manner. Reliable, honest, highly recommended.

Derek and Brandy are wonderful people. Although my process was time consuming, not of it was due to the owner or other employees, once the warranty process was finished, my car was done in days. Needed to have some repairs done for my Altimas transmission. Finding somewhere to do it was painful enough but when I called here, Brandy was very kind and reassuring, even though she was having a rough day. From the moment we meet she provided valuable updates throughout the process and prior to any work being done she confirmed with me first. She is knowledge about a vehicle and conveys the message effectively.Derrick, thank you stepping in and filling in the gaps for questions and doubts I may have had while service was being performed.Lastly, Marlin, thank you finding the problem and properly fixing it. I originally believed that I had a transmission problem because all the fluid leaked out after a returning from a trip out of state (on a Friday evening). Thankfully it made its way back to Fayetteville. After having the vehicle towed to their shop on Monday I was super nervous because I really believed it was a transmission issue, which I found out via way of dealer that I had a Sealed Transmission if you dont what that is, see if you have a transmission dipstick under your hood. Nope, it’s quite possible you have a sealed transmission and if so, only dealerships or specialty shops with the equipment can check and fill the fluid. Which explains the concern (cost). After filling the transmission to determine the damage, Marlin diagnosed the problem as the CV axle that damaged the bushings and seal which resulted in the fluid leaking out. Also discovering it was the wrong size axle that I had just replaced the month prior. WOW! Imagine that. Again, Brandy kept me informed and managed to get the part exchanged and fixed in a matter of three days. Yes, I said three days, I had my vehicle back Christmas Eve. Nobody but God, lead me to them. To top it off I had to return to Northern VA that following week. Needless to say, God did it again!So, with all thats been said, I had to share the good news with all. Im very pleased with the service and I must say Brandy did disclose that they could not guarantee the transmission was not damaged but they did fix the root cause, and transparency it much valued in my book. I scheduled an appointment, not once but twice to get my transmission fluid flushed. When I called to make sure my original appointment on Friday could be done I was told no so I rescheduled for Monday. My car was not completed on Monday and now I have no way to get to work on Tuesday so I have to call in which means I won’t get paid. What is the point in making an appointment if it is not worth anything?

I had took my suv to five different places either they told me they couldn’t fix it or take it to the dealership or I need a new transmission I took it to Amacco and they found the problem my battery had leaked on some sensors and was causing my automobile to run bad thank you guys so much and especially Brandy she was so nice and kept me informed what was going on and what they had to do to my automobile

Quick and friendly. Even though they are a national chain, Brandy made me feel like I was their only customer. I called before I came in and she recognized me based off the call and remembered everything we spoke about on the phone. It was not difficult To get ahold of them for updates on my vehicle, in fact in the 10 days they had my car, they called me probably 3 or 4 times just to give me updates. When it was time to pick my car up Brandy once again impressed by recognizing me when I walked in even though it was over a week later.

Had my oil changed and transmission fluid flushed as part of routine maintenance. The price here is very economical, they didn’t try to up sell or do anything sketchy and the price was very reasonable for what I had done. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because they didn’t replace my transmission fluid filter. I asked them about it at pickup and they believed that I had a filter that was built in to the transmission and the transmission would need to be removed to replace it which is true for a lot of cars especially newer ones, however I know that on my car the filter is located just to the mechanics left (The cars right) of the air box, mounted by a single bracket, extremely accessible (I have even looked at it because i was going to do everything myself, decided not to for lack of a good place to do it, so I know it’s there) However I wasn’t going to argue with the lady behind the desk because she isn’t a mechanic so she really wouldn’t know, and I was happy about everything else, and the filter isn’t that important for right now. Overall very reasonable, more reputable than most mechanic shops especially in this area however nothing will beat going to a dealership instead, as they are professionals for your specific car. (They also took a little longer than I hoped for but I’m sure it’s because they are a busy shop. They had my car for 7 hours, with an appointment scheduled the day before)

The air conditioner in our Ford Fusion started blowing hot air so we needed to find a place to have it serviced. I have always been skeptical of taking my car to any place for service because I have been burned one too many times. My husband talked me into trying AAMCO after reading the reviews online. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The price was fair considering the amount of labor that went in to fixing the a/c and the customer service was top-notch. I will be taking my cars there from now on when they need servicing and you should too!!

Just had some transmission work done here. They got me in on the day I called. They worked through all the issues in a very efficient manner. They kept me updated on the progress of my car and were very friendly the whole time. I am satisfied with the price I paid for the work done. After disappointing booking experiences, and varying levels of willingness to service a transmission with over 100,000 miles on it I was glad to bring my vehicle here. The folks offered a price lower than any of the quotes from Firestone and took my vehicle in the day after I called. The service was timely and professional and I plan on going back! After reading the reviews on AAMCO, I just had to go to them. I am VERY VERY VERY pleased with the service I received. The day I walked in for my appointment they were taking care of a gentlemen whom I believe was from out of town who needed work on his car on a Friday. Brandy found a hotel for him, and Stewart dropped him off. After being a witness to that I knew for sure that I was in good hands. Once a test drive was done on my vehicle Brandy took care of me too. Had a transmission replaced here, and it was handled completely unsatisfactorily. Ultimately after the transmission was replaced, there were drivability issues. When taking the transmission out, I was notified a motor mount was bad. I said I would fix it myself, and they were Ok with that. After I got the vehicle back and replaced the bad motor mount indicated in my paperwork, I still had some rumbling/vibrating issues. I called back, and was notified that there was also a SECOND bad transmission mount, and that I told them not to repair both mounts (untrue, as I was only aware of one motor mount as indicated in my paperwork). I come in to verify and it seems a second transmission/motor mount issue was written in pen on their paperwork alone, not on mine, and that they told me about it verbally (they hadnt). Fine, I have them replace the second mount (of which I paid full price for the part and the labor), only to have a similar rumbling/vibration at higher speeds. I call back and have them look at it a 3rd time, and they tell me it’s my tires (which hadn’t given me an issue before the transmission problem, but somehow in the 100 miles it was driven afterwards they were now the problem). I thought perhaps the alignment was off, as they might have had to adjust or move suspension components to get the transmission out. They said they never touched any of the suspension parts, as they can replace the transmission without doing so in my particular vehicle. I asked if they perhaps used a pry bar to get some stuck half shafts out of the front hubs, they said no. Lo and behold, I get my vehicle up on a lift, and there are obvious (new, from the sheen) pry marks that shows someone was heaving against some suspension parts on my front hubs. They offered to get me in contact with an alignment shop, noncommittal if they’d help pay for an alignment or not.I understand things happen, and if honest and open communication had happened in the beginning my review would have been much more favorable. At every turn, I was met with hostility. No one was willing to say that they might have made a mistake (which I proved twice with inconsistent paperwork and pry marks on my suspension), and I was treated like nothing but an inconvenience now that i had already paid. I had to return multiple times, pay full price for everything, only to be met with the same accusatory attitude. Save yourself the hassle, go ANYWHERE else. Preferably away from Fayetteville, where some semblance of professionalism and honestly may be found without having to overpay for it.

Great shop run by great people. Did my homework ahead of time and had a general idea of my problem going in and what it was supposed to cost. They told me what they thought it was and what it should cost to fix it. It was what I had a feeling it was and the cost was right in the range that I anticipated. They did honest and quality work and my vehicle runs great now. If I have further problems Im going back.

This team of professionals fixed my vehicle and did not run the costs up on me. The dealer just had me buy parts and kept asking me to come back another time. The vehicle presented multiple challenges; all during the onset of the covid19 pandemic. They fixed the vehicle and ensured I understood what the real problem was. Brandi was a great customer service rep. She made sure that every step of the way we were informed of the problems and cost. Michael the tech also was very knowledgeable of what was going on. After leaving the car for diagnostic which was supposed to be over night, I recieved a call before I got home and was told the problem and price and oh yeah also that by the time I turned around my vehicle would be ready. My car is running good as new and has cold air. Will be returning for future bussiness and would recommend this place to anyone. The amazing part is all other shops give me multiple reasons why my car was messed up and outrageous prices. This was done quickly and honestly way cheaper than me and my wife ever expected.

Sometimes unexpected things happen (thats just the nature of the work - especially with older vehicles), but when this occured they went above and beyond to earn our business. And given the amount of work and time I know they put in to our vehicle, I was very surprised and pleased with how affordable the costs were once I looked over the detailed statement of charges they provided. I have no complaints whatsoever and nothing but great things to say!!We will definitely be repeat customers for our auto care needs. I stopped here because my transmission destroyed itself nearby. They had my truck several weeks and charged me $2200 for a rebuilt transmission. The truck wasnt worth $2200.

Ive been here twice now and Im seriously considering switching all my car care needs from Firestone to them...mostly because Firestone seems to love making customers wait (three hours to get an oil change? Seriously?). The AAMCO folks seem to get customer service and they talk to you like a person, which in my book counts for a lot. (And for those that wonder, yes, they keep my sports car running smoothly...that counts for a lot too!)Just ask for Stuart when you come.

Love this place. My old 99 grand Prix has gotten some serious love here. They are very flexible and very accommodating. One time I called and asked if the could see and fix my car that day. It was rather late in the day too. Sure enough, got it there they put it in right away and did exactly what I asked and then some. I will continue to bring BOTH my vehicles to this shop for ALL my auto repair needs!

My transmission went out on my 2014 charger and I took it to the dealership. Well needless to say the price they told me to replace it I could buy a new car. I then took my car to Aamco and they worked with me they found a used transmission with only 25000 miles on it . The rest is a beautiful thing.

We took our dodge in for cooling services and came out worse. We waited about 12 days since they said everything was going to settle. Paid over $200 went back today and now they said there has to be something wrong but wanted to charge us again for checking the car. This is not right or fair since they obviously never checked what the problem was and left me suffering in this heat while they pocketed my money. Shame on them for taking advantage of people who are honest and work so hard for a buck. The receptionist was rude and hateful and wouldnt even listen to us.

Best guys in town - they have serviced all of our vehicles and I call them FIRST no matter what our car trouble is. They are fair, friendly, and fast. Honest and have integrity, which really shines through. Trust them with your vehicle needs and know that you are receiving quality work with fair pricing. These guys are great. Had my GMC Envoy fixed in one day. I was able to have it towed in and Jason called me several times through the whole process. I didnt even have to be there until I went to pay. Reasonable prices and only did the work that was needed/wanted. Will use them again in the future.

It was terrible .I asked up front about CVT transmission and was told that they was bad transmission.I had a coupon to get it checked for free ,they called me 3 hours later.And said it may not be that bad ,We can run another test and save you some money .Bit need your approval and it will only cost $125.I gave them the approval cause he said it wasnt that bad,to only call me back to say transmission was bad.My car had a 150,000 miles with a CVT transmission that they told me up front that it was a bad transmission by Nissian. I feel they knew up front transmission was bad but beat me out of a $125 cause I had a coupon. I dont think they are bad people .Just bad business practices , to beat people out of money.Please change that practice and be straight up with customers.Thank you for listening and for trying to better your business.

My car needed to get a new clutch and flywheel. I took my car to the dealership at first and the estimate cost was 2570$ and it was going to take them about a week. My boyfriend told me to hold off on it while he looked around. He came across AAMCO. They were able to fix my car for much of a lesser price and with a 24hrs turn around. Their customer service was amazing as well. I recommend it.

Wish I could give more stars!The most honest and trustworthy mechanics I have met. I wish more people were like them. I WILL BE GOING BACK!I went in for my 60k mile service (easily a $400 job). I received a call an hour later saying that they had checked the fluids before replacing them, and determined I didnt need them done because they were like new! (I had recently bought my car, so the dealership must have changed them)Aamco could have changed them and charged me a bunch of money and I would have had no idea and gone about my life. But they had the decency to call me and let me know that their services were not needed! That has literally never happened to me before.

I am very pleased with the service received. I took my son vehicle believing there was an issue with his transmission and discovered it was the case. I could have been ripped off as so many other business do. Just last week I go t a quote for repairs on my other vehicle and after the second quote I was shocked. The first business was charging me 1036.00 for shocks and struts and come to discover they were wrong. The actual cost after taking it somewhere else was 150.00 so I was a bit afraid if the same was going to happen. Jason was very attentive, professional and courteous. I meet also the owner Stuart who was a pleasure to meet and was very informative on the repair of the vehicle. I will recommend this place to others. I have another vehicle which need to be serviced and I will definitely be taking it there.

So I went here after looking at all the Reviews with High Hopes. I was seriously let down. First of all Reuben the Desk Person / Shop Manager has no business parking your car. I have a 79 Camaro with a B&M shifter. Any car person should know these have a safety feature to keep you from accidentally putting it in reverse while driving. Reuben decided it was a Grand idea that when the car wouldn’t go into park that he would try and force it to. Again he works around cars daily. Should have know let alone I don’t maybe ask for help!?! So him trying to force the car into park strips out the shift knob and jacks up the lock mechanism in the shifter. When I stop him mid trying to force it again. I get in park for him. I then tell him Great now you broke this. He just looks at me and says oh sorry and continues about like nothing happened and basically could give zero cares he broke anything. Then after all this the mechanic finally gets my car in to make the repair. I try to ask him a question he pretty much barely acknowledged my presence and continues about. I understand your busy but when a customer asks you a question you take a moment and answer, not just walk off. So after all this I called on 15 different occasions asking to speak to the owner on several different days. I have Left several messages. Do you think the owner has ever called me back? No!! And it’s been almost 2 weeks!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Made several calls throughout Fayetteville to get a limited slip differential installed on my BMW. A couple of shops said they only deal with factory parts even though the part I wanted to install is a direct fit that come with a warranty. I spoke to the owner and he went out of his way to do the research and took on the job. It’s been 5 months, and I’m super happy with the customer service as well as the install.

I havent had the best of luck with some shops in the area, but AAAMCO was recommended to me by a co-worker, and so I took a chance and couldnt have been happier. From even the initial call, I knew my truck would be taken care of. The staff was very, very nice and professional, and my truck is driving great! Definitely will come back for any future maintenance needs. Thanks, guys!!

All the people that work at Aamco were very professional and had great attitudes. They are honest and if they can will work with you on options. For my issues they were able to give me a couple of options to help me out. Again great group of people.

These Guys are AMAZING!!! I had a 2 yr old Explorer Ford tried to rip me off so I called them. They picked up my truck fixed it. Replaced the transmission and was the most amazing polite professional shop I have ever been too. I feel like they went well above and beyond my expectations. Definitely got more then my monies worth. Im sending everyone to them. Stuart and Jayson went above and beyond. Thank you for getting us driving again. Only coming to them for my car care needs. 😍😍😍

Had an issue with my truck that a company had messed up showing us their trans service machine. Aamco diagnosed it and fixed it in a day. Good quality work and quick too!

I have brought two different cars to AAMCO for transmission related issues. I had taken it to a small repair shop where they told me my transmission needed to be replaced. I decided to take it to AAMCO to get a second opinion. Needless to say the service was exceptional! They recommended a full transmission service. My car runs better than ever now. I will continue to go to this location from now on. They are one of the few places in fayetteville that have pride in what they are doing and care about their customers.

Friendly and best customer service I have ever experienced from an auto shop. Went in for transmission question and was treated well. They even filled up my transmission fluid without charge. Will be taking my car there next week and hopefully things will stay the same. Will post more after the work is done. Stay tune.

Great service and dedication to customer happiness. Had a check engine light and evap pump replaced, but when the part was faulty it was replaced at no charge and have had no problems since. The owner, Stuart, was there and stayed late to make sure my wife got her van back. This is the only shop in Fayetteville I trust and will take both of our vehicles to.

These people are crooks, please do not let them talk you into repairs after the free check up they offer. Get a second opinion. They flat out lied to me and said I needed a new transmission. I went to two separate garages after who both told me my transmission was in great shape. These people will prey on you and defend themselves and their findings regardless what the other reputable garages in town tell you. Especially the customer service guy Jason. Dont be manipulated. Get a second opinion.

I appreciate how fast my truck was returned to me. I dropped it off on a Thursday morning after a mechanical failure and it was ready around 4pm on Friday. Took it for a 10 day follow-up, so far so good. Thanks Guys!!

This is my first google review but thought it well worth mentioning. Stopped by for a quick oil change and I was surprised as that is exactly what I received. As I listened to the staff talk to other customers they never pushed to sell something they didnt need and explained why. After meeting Stuart (owner/ working manager) I began to talk with him about my vehicle, it has high mileage but its paid for so I want to make sure it keeps running. While the oil was being changed he went to take a quick look and pointed out that I should pay attention to a few things in the future all of which makes sense. I travel a good bit and I would not hesitate to send my wife there if something happens to her car as I am sure that they would only fix what is wrong and have a great guarantee program. I have told my neighbors about the shop and all seem to say the same thing, very nice, trustworthy, and fair. Ill be back for sure.

The customer service manager brandy was amazing. Knowledgeable in her feild of work. And the service techs where absolutely on point diagnosed my trucks problem and had me in an out in a hour highly recommend ammco of fayetteville for all your automotive needs.
