This shop and this owner is a fraud. This owner charged me well over $3000 dollars total on two trips to his shop on air suspension parts and repairs for work he did not perform. On my first trip into his shop, he misdiagnosed the problem on my Mercedes by telling me that the problem was an air compressor. On the second trip to his shop to correct the issue, he told me that it was a leaking front air strut on driver side. I paid him to replace the strut and now I am having the same issue reoccur, and now also with the stop, car too low message on dash. I took my car to Mercedes Benz on yesterday 10/18/22 and found out that I have a leaking front drivers side air strut, the same air strut on the front drivers side that I paid Sam Smith to replace and repair; he didnt repair anything. I implore all Mercedes Benz owners, if you value the proper driving integrity of your car, dont take your car to this shop. He merely rigged my car to temporarily hold just enough to last a few weeks. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and other agency that monitor fraudulent businesses. This owner is not a Mercedes Benz trained technician nor either is any of his mechanics. His shop is not a Mercedes authorized shop as well.

I was impressed with the Customer service and the Lets not play games attitude- I was in and out in no time. I will be back to get more service completed. Before going Sam Smith Performance I used a shop near the area I broke down and the hundreds I spent cost me a thousand because of a dumb repair and so I could safely drive the car to the Performance shop

Where do I begin with the service Ive received from this shop, let me say I have been doing business with auto shop in the past and if there were or is a problem, I will voice my concerns.Well this is no different. The worst experience I have ever had. I was charged for work on my car that was not performed, I brought my car in to have the check engine light taken care of with a code that I explain to the owner and front desk. After having my car for 33 days and I WILL extend them grace, only because of the holiday season, no contact or update until 19 of January but was charge an amount THAT WOULD SHOCK ANY MAN!! The problem was still there plus I now have two new codes which werent there before I brought my car to this shop my parts for the engine was not replaced and screw were and are still missing and were not replace, but was allowed to drive my car home. After taken my car to another place to see why it now drives hard the next day and to find out I have two new codes was mind blowing. I now have to have my car repair by another auto shop that will perform the job correctly is heart breaking for I did my do diligences and went on line and read the review to only be rip off by this shop is heart breaking and to deal with the out come, of having to repair my car by another is the WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!!DONT USE THIS SHOP FOR ANY AUTO NEED DO MORE THEN JUST READ THEIR REVIEW REALLY RESEARCH.

Great customer service! Mr. Smith was very thorough and detailed with the Service A required on my vehicle. His level of expertise was excellent. The facility has all of the amenities as a dealer and all information is uploaded into the CarFax system which allows great record keeping on your vehicle.I definitely recommend and will always have my vehicles serviced here.

My AMG completely shut down after picking it up from another repair shop after an accident I wasn’t sure of the issue, I had my car towed to Sam and he got to the bottom of it for me ! Come to find out it was an issue due to the accident the other shop over looked but Sam made sure everything was good and working correctly before releasing my vehicle back to me, we are truly grateful for him and his team because these cars are not an easy fix !

My mother was officially the customer. My brother and I were paying on her behalf. We made the mistake of trusting his expertise. He gave an estimate, which increased substantially after he already began working on the car. He took SEVERAL thousand dollars from us and gave the car back unfixed. Then asked for several more thousand dollars just to do the repairs that should have been done in the first place. If he wasnt intentionally taking advantage of us, it means he does not have the expertise and judgment he claims to have and should not be trusted.

After I inherited a 2001 CL600 V12, I had no idea what to do with it, nor did I know anything about it. I did know that I couldn’t get rid of it because of the sentimental value it had to whom I got it from. So with only 70,000 miles on it I decided to look into getting it checked out. I ran across Sam Smith while doing a search for MB Mechanics. I ended up taking the car to him so that he can check the car out. After he ran diagnostics on the car he came back and told me what was needed and what I needed to do to keep the car in good condition. Even though the car is 18 years old, the service to keep up this beast is the same as it was when it was new at $117,000.I ended up taking the car back to SSP the following week to get all the recommended repairs done and I can honestly say that Sam Smith did a great job. He was very thorough with the work he did and always kept me in the loop on what needed to be done. Even when it came to unforeseen items that needed to be replaced, he went ahead and did them since he was working in the same general areas on the car, and only charged me for the parts.He did a great job and I can really feel the difference in the power that the car has now when I drive it.I will definitely use again. He has now become my personal MB Mechanic.

I was very impressed with Sams professionalism concerning the transmission repair on my Mercedes. Often times women are preyed upon when seeking auto repairs, especially for a foreign car. I had a BAD experience with a previous mechanic and I was really looking for someone who was about business and Sam met all my expectations. He diagnosed my issue, provided a reasonable expectation of when the work would be completed as well as a clear price. If you are looking for a service center that can match the Mercedes Dealership, that is professional and you can trust in the service, then Sam Smith Performance is the Mercedes Specialist for you. BTW I did call the Mercedes Benz Dealership Service Center (Marietta), because I was so frustrated and just wanted the work done, they were going to charge me $2300 for something they KNEW would not work!

Sam has been awesome! I went to Toyota and they told me it would cost $2,000.00 to get my air conditioning fix. I brought my car to Sam and he checked my car and only needed to replace some valves for $270.00. I had to wait for parts due to be COVID, but he reached out as soon as they came in. We are riding in ice cold air just in time for summer. Thanks for everything!!!

Sam keeps my Caddy in tip top running condition and his prices are almost half of what the dealers ask for the same jobs. My husband’s truck was in sad shape when we brought it to Sam. Everyone else that had worked on the truck seemed to fix one thing and then something else would need fixing. When we brought it to Sam, he kept it until he had diagnosed each problem. He fixed everything at one time. The truck has never run so well. Everywhere we go someone comments on how good the old school truck sounds. After going to Mercedes Benz dealership getting a quote for a ridiculous price. I found Sam Smith on the internet and omg what a blessing.
