Stopped in last weekend and enjoyed some coffee on the patio during the afternoon. It wasnt busy at all. Masks still required inside, which was totally fine. Just an FYI to still bring one with you. We were all vaccinated but can definitely see how a business would want to protect itself and employees. Theyre provided at the counter if you did forget.

Cozy joint right off the main strip. Fido approved and we were able to run our dog through to sit out back in a really cool space. Espresso drinks were done well. Perfect little place for a midday stop to cool off and grab our second wind.

Cozy small town coffee shop / music venue. I really liked the look and feel of Red Raven, but wasnt blown away by their drinks. Their signature drink, the Frape Raven, was really good if youre a fan of sweeter drinks, but the other drink we ordered was somewhat meh. Overall its worth checking out if youre in the area.

My favorite coffee shop in pre-covid times. love their seasonal drinks so much and their prices are out of this world. food is tasty too, but i would advise against ordering a sandwich with chips - they give crumbs every time.

This place has the small atmosphere of a friendly coffee shop, where you can get together with your friends and chat, or just sit back and read a good book. I believe this is the aesthetic larger companies such as Starbucks or Caribou are going for, but due to the fact that they are a chain, theyre unable to achieve this aesthetic.Red Raven pulls it off effortlessly. I also love the fact that there are a venue for a lot of local talents. The coffee is delicious, and their teas are excellent. The staff was very friendly when I was visiting them, always punctual and quick to take orders, and they ensured that it was all done correctly.Overall, I could see myself going back there with some sort of frequency. Im not normally a coffee shop type of person, but I can see myself going there just due to the fact that I enjoyed the atmosphere as much as I did. If youre looking for a place to go to relax, sip a cup of delicious coffee, I just kind of escape the madness that is the city during normal hours, Red Raven offers a nice Haven.

Coffee is EXCELLENT. I have been here a couple times in past years when traveling through Fargo.However, THE process to order and get coffee this trip DURING COVID was terrible. Order, to payment, to coffee was over 15 minutes. (I had trouble, hopefully others do not.) My breve was really good... But the process was not.

They have the GREATEST coffee, teas and monster cookies!

Absolutely favorite place. People who work here are fantastic, the coffee is superb..my only complaint is cleaning. Not sure if they have done a deep clean since moving into the building. And even the sinks in the bathroom are grimey....just use a Mr Clean magic eraser:) but I will always pick this over any other place in town. Also I love that they stand up for their beliefs..and not afraid to show it. Kudos

Red Raven forever. Co-operatively run with great staff, local art and shows, and free meeting spaces. The outdoor patio in the summer is the best!

This place is awesome. Came in for the first time on 11/9/19 and was greeted with live and local punk music and some evening coffee. It’s a very comfortable atmosphere and all the staff was very laid back and cool to talk too. Will be making this a regular hangout spot.

Parking is super limited, I dont recommend visiting during peak hours. The products were quite tastey for the pricing, but they were or of a lot of product. Including both options for side dishes without a price reduction to our sandwiches. The seats could definitely use a bit of repair. Over all though, we enjoyed or experience and it was a nice place to meet our friends.

Red raven presents itself as a local meeting place for anti-establishment and anti-capitalist individuals and philosophy. At the same time, it is difficult not to notice the apparent contradiction of a place of business spouting an anti-capitalist philosophy. One must wonder if this philosophy is simply a brand the coffee shop presents in order to attract a niche market that cannot be taken by typical capitalist trappings. On the other hand, it is possible that one will always be feeding into the capitalist system and it is better to do it at an establishment that attempts to present such ideology.Anyway, good atmosphere and good coffee. One of the better places in Fargo.

Its really difficult to find parking then you have to walk a great deal.On the plus side I go for the Cuban Coffee straight out of South Miami FL. This is a really cool coffee shop. Art on the walls, quiet, food options as well as coffee. The one thing that might trip you up is the location. Its on main avenue but the entrance is located in a parking lot in the back. Regardless their different coffee drinks are awesome. Check it out =]

We were there at the tail end of a busy morning, and I think the baristas were tapped out. This isnt really a place Im comfortable in. Others clearly enjoy it, and the coffee is quite good. Its quite grungy, which seems to be a quality that many people appreciate and are comfortable with. Red Raven hosts many events, and they have an important role in downtown Fargo.

KT is the best barista. The best vibes and art at this little espresso parlor. Get the sloppy duck if you have a chance.

Hands down my favorite coffeehouse in the FM area. Very comfortable, at-home feeling. Great patio. Coffee tastes amazing, better than anywhere else. Local art hangs on the wall and is usually very reasonably priced.

The Red Raven espresso parlor is a unique cafe whos atmosphere makes up a major portion for the experience.Its starts with entering the establishment. Once can drive through a back alley and go through a small hallway to get into the building. Its unconventional structure feels exciting , adventurous, and also welcoming.The store is usually staffed with just one barista. That alone should be indicative of how busy the place can get.The music that plays is usually relaxing ranging from ambient to lo-fi to obscure classic rockThe cafe is dimly lit with several booths that have outlets accompanied with them. It is a quite incredible place to just study.Occasionally there will also be live bands that will play. Theres is an entire stage for performers to be on too.The coffee there is better than a couple of local down town cafes that I have been too in Fargo.

This is a cool little hipster espresso bar with a small stage for open mic nights and lots of local color/flavor hanging up around the walls. An interesting hangout, this place is open until a 11:00 PM which makes it a real winner. The coffee and espresso drinks are better than good but not exceptional.

It was my first trip here. I had a caramel mocha frappe (I think). It was delicious! Tasted like chocolate covered coffee beans. Great atmosphere.

This place has open mic nights for local artist to show case their talents. Tuesday is the night EVERYONE needs to check out the local funny people! Come out, forget its only Tuesday, and get your laugh on.Reason for the three stars is because the employee who works these nights needs to stop being so pretentious! I will say once his costumer service skills get better than maybe people might order more than just water😀

I love this little hole-in-the-wall place. Its charming and earthy. A variety of shows on their small stage (adopt a cat, open mic comedy night on tuesdays, poetry readings, art shows, vegan breakfast specials, etc) during the nights and weekends. Service is polite. Area is small but that adds to the charm. Theres seating around a small bar, fold out chairs for the shows, tables with chairs regularly, and a couple couches. Food selection changes (they do serve vegetarian and vegan food/snacks) and coffee/teas are always served.

I consider myself one of those people that loves coffee place atmosphere and although I can see how some people may like it, this place is beyond even me.I had the Matcha Green Tea Latte, which while tasty at times, wasnt mixed properly at all with balls of matcha powder floating in the drink and the bottom of the cup was covered in it. Sloppy barista work.The Red Raven is in an old building, I get that, but the place has a very distinctive and unpleasant smell. Ive been to plenty of coffee places in restored buildings and warehouses that do a much better job at air quality.Again, I can see how this place might be some peoples cup of tea, but its definitely not mine.
