I have purchased several vehicles from Luther Family Ford and will continue to do so. From the first contact with a sales representative, through the trade negotiation, delivery and service Ive always felt like a valued customer. They make the car-buying experience easy and stress free. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Never pushy. The few times I have encountered an issue, they have been quick to address it. I appreciate the level and care and professionalism delivered -- they have earned my trust.

Doctor up vehicles enough for you to buy them. Once the 30 days are up, the vehicle starts having problems and they don’t do anything or try to help. My husband and I did not have a good experience. This was supposed to be our reliable vehicle for my husband and instead it has to sit because we have to do so much to it before we can drive it. I highly suggest you go somewhere else to buy a vehicle.* Actually my husband has tried calling back multiple times and the manager is either not available or not there. I understand that you did the tires and thank you for that, but the engine is completely messed up and for the few times he drove it that wouldn’t be possible to do that to the engine. It was all bent up and now he will have to completely replace it. When he tested the vehicle he heard the ticking and you guys said it would be looked at and that it was common in those vehicles. That was not true either. As you can see you may have done the tires but there was many other pieces wrong too. Now we will be spending thousands of dollars to fix this vehicle that shouldn’t have been sold to us in the first place.

Just bought a 2020 Ford Expedition from Roger at Luther Family Ford. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the service we received. We were only in town for New Years Eve and were leaving New Years Day. Stopped to look at the vehicle and then went to lunch to think about it. We had dinner reservations that evening and I talked to Roger on the phone to inquire how long it might take. I informed him that we had to be out by 4:30 pm to make our reservations. He never tried to BS me or push me like almost every car salesman I have ever worked with. He didn’t waste time. He had us on our way right at 4:30 with all the paperwork done and our new beautiful Expedition Max. The sales manager stopped by to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We were so happy with the service we received that we sent my in-laws in today to buy their own Expedition from Roger. Next time I need a vehicle, I’m driving the 3 hrs to Fargo to buy from these guys. I bought my SUV from Luther Family Ford and I have been taking there for services for five years. However, many times, I have been asked if its a company car or I am driving for a company! Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment for rear brake pad replacements and it took them almost three hours. When I asked about the status at the service desk checkout, a lady told me that she doesnt know and told me to ask myself by going into the garage - I did. Finally when it was done and I paid for the service, I asked about the warranty. That lady told me that, I take care of the money only! What a great customer service? Employees at Luther Family Ford are biased and judgmental! Please be aware!!

Had a problem with our water pump on our car. Called and spoke with Brian, who instructed us to leave it overnight. The next morning Travis called and said they would get a look at it as soon as possible.Travis called back to update us on what the problem was and we were able to have the repairs completed by that afternoon.We are very pleased with the courteous and prompt attention!

Overall, this car dealership does not know what customer service is. About 2 months ago I had applied for financing for a Ranger that was in stock. I was approved and the only thing left to do was for me setup an appointment. This was all on a Friday night. By Saturday, I had not received any call from the dealership and so I called them in the afternoon. I was then informed that the car had been sold in the morning. Why was I not given priority when I had already been approved and had received an email congratulating me for my purchase? However, I decided to give them another chance and went in to order a Ranger. The salesman had no personality and I had to sell myself on the truck. I put a $500 deposit down and waited for the truck to arrive. After the 8/9 weeks I called to check the status of the truck and was told it would be another month. I decided to cancel and was told I would be getting my deposit back in the mail. I received a follow-up call that based on the build of the truck and not being something they would order that they would not be returning my deposit. I argued that they were still going to sell the truck and that nothing I signed said my deposit was non-refundable. I was told the GM would be giving me a call. I received a call from someone else telling me that they werent giving me back my deposit. I explained the previous events that upset me and the employee then offered to talk to the GM on letting me use my deposit for an F-150. I agreed to come in talk to someone else on that possibility and I was assigned a new sales rep. The new rep called and was great. However, the next day I called and didnt hear back for close to 2 hours. I decided to go in anyway and when I arrived he was busy and had no clue who I was either way, another fail. The receptionist was very nice and found another rep. He was great, but overall the F-150 is not for me. So now I am out $500 and can say I will never buy from a Luther dealership anywhere. Better off going down to the cities or someone else in town.

I brought my F150 in for service (door lock problem). This was fixed under a recall program. They noticed that I paid for a door lock repair in the past, now covered under this program, and indicated that I would receive a refund. Good service!

My entire experience here was phenomenal. Ive previously had terrible experiences at some of the other dealerships in town, primarily at the time you have to sit down with the F&I guy. The aggressive upselling and bitterness towards you when you dont want to add on one of their packages can be really uncomfortable.The guys at Luther Ford epitomize professionalism. Terry was a very pleasant, laid back salesman. He made the process very simple and quick. He is knowledgeable, likeable and makes the entire experience a great one. Afterwards, I signed my paperwork with Noah and he was also incredibly nice, informative and definitely not pushy.The entire process lasted a little over an hour and I was able to leave with my new SUV and a better attitude towards the car buying process than I had originally had. This is absolutely the place to go if you get anxiety over high pressure sales. Thanks again!

Ive been going to Luther Family Ford for years now, getting service done on my pickup. From oil changes, to major maintenance, Ive always had a great experience with their service department. But, earlier this week, I was able to get an in-depth experience of Luthers sales process and team. Honestly, I couldnt have asked for a better sales experience. The price on the new car I wanted was on point (better than any other dealer prices from Seattle to Minneapolis) and they were willing to negotiate with me on my trade-in value. My salesman, Roger Holland, was an absolute joy to work with, we shared some good laughs and he knew exactly when to get serious to help me negotiate my trade-in value. Because of this, Im happy to say that we were able to work a deal and Im now the owner of a brand new car!From service, to sales, to financing, Luther has been excellent. Working with Adam Landreth at Luther Family Ford has been our best experience with a car salesman in my 40+ years of buying cars. Adam answered our questions or found the answers for us quickly. We purchased a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve from Luther Ford-Fargo, ND; about 1500 miles from our home. With used cars in high demand we searched far and wide for this car. We found exactly what my wife wanted at Luther Ford-Fargo. The Luther Ford net sticker pricing was competitive with no hassles of negotiating. We saved enough on the car price to turn this into a mini-vacation on the drive home. Truly a pleasant experience.Adam was instrumental in us closing the deal. He sent additional pictures, videos, financing, etc. He met us at the Fargo Airport. Gave us a great tour of Fargo on the way to Luther Ford. Upon arrival we spent a little time finalizing our paperwork (everything was ready) and then Adam took us to lunch before we started our journey home to Washington State. I had been searching off and on for vehicles for at least 6 months. I have always been a Ford driver, and had my eye on the new 2021 Ford Explorers. I was referred over to speak to one of the sales reps, Roger Holland, and he was fantastic. He took his time with explaining the differences on models, upgrades, and also got me an excellent price on my trade-in vehicle. He was a great communicator through the whole process and even called me the next day to see if I was adjusting to my new vehicle. I also had to come in with my two very young children and the other staff members made sure we were comfortable (had some kid movies) while we had a short wait to sign papers. If you are looking for someone who cares about his customers and finding them the best vehicle for their family - I couldnt recommend Roger Holland even more!

Not very accommodating…I am traveling through the Fargo area pulling a RV and started having truck issues and called Luther ford to make an appointment and I was told by service that I cant get the truck in for 2 weeks! REALLY….wouldn’t even look at it..in fact I was told the service manager would call me “to see what he could do” so disappointing….he never called…If you need repair and heading west go to Casselton @ Earls he will not only look at your truck he’ll call you back!Very disappointed in this ford dealer…..

Brought my Moms Ford here for a scheduled oil change and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Who knew there was a dealership in town where scheduling an oil change actually meant you didnt have to wait for over an hour. I will not do business with Luther Ford again. I have bought over $350,000.00 worth of vehicles over the last 10 years and to be charged $ 250.00 to replace a fuse when it never has worked since the truck was new is unacceptable, to me it should have been a courtesy.

They have great services. Some of the workers are wearing masks during this pamdemic and some are not. Mask are not a requirement based on the way saw things on my last visit. They a nice lounge place for you when you are waiting for your car to be serviced. WIFI is free to guests so that a plus. TV to watch.

Horrible customer service! Don’t go to Steve for your vehicle. Guy had an attitude the second I got there and acted upset that I wanted to wait for my car (even though I scheduled the appointment two weeks ago and told them I would like to wait for it to be done) told me it would be an hour before they could even look at it and would probably be well into the afternoon before it was done. Then proceeded to tell me each diagnostic code would be $120 each. When I said that didn’t sound right he told me to just take my car somewhere else!A real piece of work this guy was!

Well that was amazing!! I just purchased my first car from Luther Family Ford! We worked with Roger Holland, and besides being one of the nicest guys Ive ever met, hes REALLY good at his job! I was undecided about what car I wanted, but had it narrowed down to three. Roger was the only salesman that we talked to that kept us informed about the Ford we wanted. I still havent heard from the other 2 dealerships. Roger was committed to getting us into that Explorer, and he did it. Not in a pushy way, mind you. He just kept the lines of communication open, and that was much appreciated. We got the car we wanted, at the price we wanted. I had a great experience at Luther Family Ford. I called and made an appointment with a sales rep. He had two cars washed and ready when I arrived. Test drove the Mustang and loved it. We started the paperwork as they figured out the trade value of my car. I was going to come back the next day to close the sale but I received a call from their credit rep. She stated a couple of discounts were set to expire so I should come back after work.She stayed after her shift ended just to help me save money. What great service !I got the trade value I needed as well as discounts and rebates I never thought possible. I am super pleased with Carter my sales rep, who was very helpful throughout the sale. I love going local and keeping business within Fargo but was treated like just another number upon buying my first new vehicle. Not all staff was this way, but my specific salesperson led me astray and had not been clear with included features. We had even leased the same exact vehicle two years prior and were now requesting the ‘exact same’ features as the previous model. There was no mention of the new vehicle not having anything that the last one did even upon inquiring about any differences. I was also addressed as the completely wrong customer due to having the same first name as another client. The attention to detail was just not there. I know the sales manager’s hands are tied due to company policy and did work to make amends within their power, but I’m still left with paying additional for something that was standard before. I love the vehicle and have had nothing but outstanding experiences at Luther Ford prior to this. It just seems odd that once we decide to actually purchase a vehicle I end up feeling less attended to and expectations not fulfilled. I’m sure this is a small percentage of their customers that something like this happens to but just doesn’t feel right.

Called right after opening and said I was driving 4 and a half hours for a truck I was approved for, they sold it when I got there, the same truck is still available following week after. Traded in a f150, they docked a $1000 for bad tires and is for sale very next week with exact same tires they said were bad. Wont be dealing with these guys anymore.

We came into the lot on a mission to just do some browsing and Spencer Carlson was absolutely fantastic about letting us just look around. He answered all our questions, showed us some great options and wasn’t pushy at all. We ended up finding one we really liked, but were in a current lease so we didn’t think we were able to do much. Spencer was able to find an option for us to get out of the lease and into a new one at a great price - it was one of the best experiences I’ve had buying a car. Ford corporate had a recall over winter where my car needed to be reprogrammed. I informed Luther Ford that I could not return their courtesy car as I was out of town for a business meeting until Monday. After the snow thawed and melted I noticed a dent the size of a dime on the driver side of the door. This intentional damage / dent was done by an employee of Luther Ford because I was not able to return their car earlier. They obviously dont care that customers do have to work for a living and not at their whim. Courtesy for them is a bunch of lip service.

Was interested in a used truck. Visited in person, they said it was getting some work done and they would call me the next morning. They never called, so I called back to inquire about it and someone else said it was still being worked on and they would call me the next morning regardless of if it was ready to be viewed or not. She never called me at all either. I called back the following day and they said they sold it yesterday. Not a great way to treat your customers.

I had recently had my oil changed and shortly after doing that I was experiencing a burning smell when the engine got warm. I drove into the garage and Brian assisted me. He had a Quick Lube associate pull the pickup over a pit to see if there was an oil leak. What the tech was able to see was a leak coming from a valve cover. The tech told me it was likely an faulty oli pump leak. On top of that my heater stopped working. Bryan arranged an appointment for me. He also took time to explain what it could be and a rough estimate of the cost of parts and labor. I really appreciated the extra time he provided me. Although he may have remembered me, I do remember him. I am trying to sell this pickup and part of my selling ad is that all of the work done can be seen on the service record at Luther Ford. I have gone there for all my oil changes as well as service work. Great experience.Duane

Had car towed to service lot. Part was backordered for two weeks. Waited two weeks and no part. They got truck started because I needed a vehicle that weekend. Vehicle wouldn’t start when I let it cool down 85 miles from here. Called my mechanic cousin and he asked me if the P(park) indicator on dash was orange and I said no. He came out with a used little park indicator switch and had it installed in 20 minutes. Truck started right up. Apparently you can buy that switch anywhere for between 30 to 60 bucks. Luther was going to charge me 5 to 6 hundred dollars to replace the whole shifter. I understand why they do it, but they couldn’t get one. Service writer was very nice and understood my dilemma. I have a new switch ordered and will replace the used one that got me running. I realize the local dealer had nothing to do with the back order. Truck isn’t even 10 years old and Ford can’t produce part to fix it. Best truck I’ve ever had till now.

Buying a vehicle for me has never been a pleasant experience. In the past, the buying process has always been a high pressure affair that left me feeling defeated, cheated, and just plain beat up.I am happy to say that this was not my experience at Luther Ford. Everyone we talked to was pleasant and informative. All my questions were answered promptly, even the ones I didnt think to ask. At no time did I feel pressured or lied to. Andy and Jeremy were pleasant and knowledgeable, making my wife and I feel comfortable. We felt that the decisions we made were our own, that the direction the conversation took was determined by us.We were recommended to Luther Ford by a friend. After looking at their web site , we decided to visit and look at a Ranger that we had seen there. The Ranger we wanted to see was sold. We found another one that we liked better.Though we had never driven a Ranger we wanted to try one, Im glad we did. We have about 300 miles on the Ranger now, 200 mile drive home. We are happy to recommend Luther as a place to shop for a new vehicle. My son has already said he will most likely give them a try when he looks for a new truck.Sorry this review is so yakky, but I really was impressed by the whole process of buying at Luther Ford. I have never been treated so well by a car dealer.

The overall experience was really great, they had friendly staff. The customer service was great and the whole transition from my vehicle trade and was great. What issues I ran into and I understand a vehicle is sold as, is I wouldnt think I would have to be replacing the brake system right away. The front rotors and brake pads were grinding metal on metal l, also I notice that the truck was always constantly running with the cooling fans on and couldnt figure out why but it turns out that there was no coolant in the vehicle and I put in 2 gallons of antifreeze in the reservoir. So the thing I question is I am very shocked that nobody caught on inspection or if there was any inspection done.

Everything went pretty well and for the price I was looking for, so I am happy with That. Just had a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth how it ended. First thing I asked for in a vehicle was remote start for the cold winters in Minnesota, my salesman told me more than one time that it has it and when i came in to pick up my truck I was told that he just realized it doesn’t have it. Then I asked if we can work something out and get one put in before winter and he pretty much told me that he can’t do that and told me to go somewhere else and get it cheaper...I’m a salesman, if you mess up information and details that were promised you take care of it and fulfill your sale promise!

My experience here was okay. I would rate it a 6 out of 10. I liked the clean building and the price of the pickup I bought was fair. I didn’t like that I had to go find a sales person. I waited for at least 10 min standing around the store looking at cars trying to seem interested. I finally gave up and walked up to someone sitting at a desk not doing anything. I asked if he was a salesman and went from there. I also didn’t like that Luther won’t fill your tank when someone buys a used vehicle. All my purchases in the past have done that and got a free car wash. Doing something as little as a free and tank of gas and a wash makes a person really talk and give great reviews. At Luther I spent 22,000 and had to fill the tank right after I left the lot...

My wife and I were quickly greeted by Salesman Roger Holland. He did a great job showing us the vehicle and a complete test drive. He went out of his way to make it for my wife didnt have to drive in traffic. We were able toto come to a agreement on price fairly quickly. The vehicle was detailed an a small dent was remove which Roger noticed was repaired quickly by staff. Business was organized with the paper work process was smooth. If, we had anything negative with our buying experience it probably took a little tolong. Considering everything we would do it again .

In from Chicago this week for the National Wrestling Tournament. Had an issue with my car. Called and was instructed to to stop by and use the Quick Lanes. When I got to the dealership the lanes where backed up. Found the Service Manager jockeying cars into the Quick lane. Flagged him down and explained what I was told that it is first come first serve but after explaining my situation he was able to take a quick look and resolve the issue! That’s how you take care of your customers!!! I’m I customer service and preach this type of attitude everyday to my 52 stores. Taking 2 minutes to understand the problem before just treating the customer like a number is how you build your stores credibility and customer satisfaction. If I ever move to ND I will only purchase vehicles from Luther Family Ford!!! Thank you.

I went in to the dealership with a particular car in mind (2018 Ford Focus). I was able to take the car for a spin (along with 3 other adults with me) without the sales person coming along for ride to try to sell me the car. It turns out the Focus wasnt for me, and I decided to test out the Fiesta instead. I loved it! I took the time to think about it and test out other cars at other dealerships, but ultimately decided on the Fiesta.I was so pleasantly surprised how painless the whole process was. I never felt pressured, it was very laid back. And when I decided to make the purchase, I texted the salesman I was working with, and he had all the paperwork ready to go. My car was clean and fueled. I was in and out in 15 minutes (I paid cash)! And I got a really good price on it. I appreciate that there is no haggling; it really takes the pressure off and made the experience more enjoyable.I was very impressed with this dealership and would gladly do business with them again.

I liked his friendly, easy going sales style, providing me good information, answering all my questions, his listening skills and searching for a vehicle that I wanted. Went to Luther Ford on Friday for a Scheduled Oil Change and was met promptly by service techs, 15 minutes early I might add, and they directed me to the service bay.I also asked them if they could check out my wiper fluid sprayer, which was not working.The entire process was about 30 minutes and they also connected thewiper fluid hose which somehow became disconnected and I was on my way!Everyone was very professional and explained everything to me in detail including the desk help when I was paying the bill!Nicely Done, Luther Ford!Mick Farkas

I drove 3 hours to Fargo to look at a Ranger at Luther Family Ford and a Tacoma at another dealer. The Tacoma dealer knew I was coming and Luther Family Ford did not. I stopped at Luther Family Ford first found the Ranger I was looking for and went for a test drive almost immediately. Noah, the salesman, told me everything about the Ranger and answered all of my questions. I then told Noah that I needed to look at the Tacoma before buying anything. He totally understood and did not try to pressure me into buying from them.When I got to the Tacoma dealer it was totally opposite. The Tacoma I was looking for looked like they had just pulled it out of the back and was not done being prepped even though it had been on their website for months and they knew I was coming. The salesman did not know much about the truck and I think he was mistaken about some of the things he said. He was trying to pressure me into buying the Tacoma and did not want to give me time to think about it.After finally getting out of the Tacoma dealer I went and had lunch and tried to decide which truck to buy. It was hard to choose because I liked them both equally but the Ranger made a little more sense so I headed back to Luther Family Ford as I was leaving I got a call from Noah asking of I had made a decision. I told him I was coming back there to see what they would give me for my trade. When I got there they were ready to look at my Renegade and offered me more than I expected for it. Shortly after I drove home in my new Ranger.I would definitely do business with them again if the need for a new car comes around,

The salesman was very knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint the exact vehicle that was a great fit for us. We never felt any pressure and we were able to make a decision On our own time. The first gentleman who greeted me was friendly and described the entire Quick Change process. He quickly pointed me to the waiting area offering me cookies and a beverage. The wait was very short and then I was greeted by another person. He explained what was done to my vehicle and then escorted me to the cashier. The experience was great! The only thing that could be improved is that no one asked me what type of oil that I wanted. It was assumed that I wanted a synthetic hybrid. I actually wanted to try a fully synthetic brand. Next time I will speak up quicker.

I own a Ford Expedition, so I usually choose the Ford dealer to service my vehicle because my expectation is that they know my car best and Ill end up having fewer repairs because they can diagnose my issues correctly the first time - Luther Family Ford does not disappoint! I thought I was going to need balancing of my tires when I brought it in. I had also been getting low tire pressure warnings. Since I bought my tires at Luther Family Ford I made an appointment with them. It turns out there was just ice build up in my wheels so no balancing was required. They also found where two tires needed to be resealed. It was minimal cost since they had sold me the tires, and they also didnt charge me for a service I didnt need. Their name is appropriate, because my whole family benefits from a well-running vehicle. Plus, they are North Dakota nice! Thank you Luther Family Ford!!

Went a week ago to get tires and told me it would be a week so I went to ok tire installed in a hour. Had my camera fixed today which took longer than expected. I really appreciated Stece Fisher reaching out to me to see what was bothering me as I had to bring my vehicle back a second time to fix it. The purchase of our 2017 Ford Edge was a great experience. Trig, the salesman who worked with us was absolutely super. No pressure on this sale and he devoted a great amount of time with us during the entire process. Once the sale was concluded, Trig again spent a lot of time explaining the operation of the vehicle. inside and out This is our third vehicle purchase from Luther Ford and in dealing with Trig. In the future, when we are in the market for a different rig, I know we will be contacting Luther Ford and in particular Trig.

I worked with Roger H., who was absolutely amazing! I found a few cars to look at online, then went to the dealership. Roger went through the information on the cars I was looking at an made sure I understood the differences between them. He discussed with me what I was looking for and helped me make a decision based on the factors that were most important to me (safety and longevity). Roger is an incredibly personable guy, and I really couldnt have asked for a better experience. He pointed out things I had missed when looking that the vehicle I chose, and ensured these minor problems would be fixed by the dealership. I walked away understanding all the features of my car, and having peace of mind knowing I had made a terrific choice. Roger has even followed up to make sure everything is still going smoothly. If all car salesmen were like Roger, I believe there would zero fear in anyone about purchasing a car.

Oil change seems to be fine. Vacuuming out my car was a nice surprise! When the attendant told me I needed a new filter, I asked where the filter that needed to be replaced was located. He said have you ever looked under the hood. This was completely rude and not called for. The car has filters that are located in different areas. I wanted to know where it was located, not belittled. This is one reason I HATE TO GO AND GET MY OIL CHANGED!

I was in for a recall related fix.I got in right on time. The technician was courteous, informative, and professional. He confirmed that he had the correct cell number for me before I left him with my car. He called me with the cost of a repair I had asked about when I got there. The driver of the courtesy car was very friendly. When my car was ready, I received a text along with a copy of the bill. I liked the fact that! I received a call from the technician almost immediately thereafter. He wanted to know if I had any questions about what had been done. On a scale of 1-10, on that day, I would have given Luther Family Ford a 12.
