Don, service department manager was pleasant however while waiting from (1pm to 5pm) noticed no urgency in any of the staff at the front of the house. Several members of the staff walking around on their cell phones for long periods of time. Not a professional experience. The service department appeared to be crazy busy....maybe less front of the house more assistance with service department $$$.

Our consultant was wonderful. His initial knowledge was lower than expected, but he was also very new. He got his manager involved right away to answer all the questions we had. He found out any information we needed and made buying the car painless. Plus, he was very friendly so it made any waiting we had comfortable.

Recently brought my Mercedes Van in to clear a Check Engine light and perform the B service. When I made the appointment the estimate was $800 for the B service (basically a glorified oil change) and $1,200 to repair the part causing the CEL - I confirmed the estimate when I made the appointment. I confirmed the estimate via email. I confirmed the estimate two weeks later when I dropped the van off at 8:00AM. Then at 10:30AM I received a call that the estimate was now $1,000 more ($3,000 total instead of $2,000). Horrible example of bate and switch. Its really unethical to tack on $1,000 that late in the process. I asked for good-will which was denied. After many phone calls and much frustration we compromised and landed in the middle. Horrible experience overall.

I recently bought a vehicle a 2016 Tahoe to be exact from valley imports from a Tom walz which was very eager to get rid of the vehicle and I should have seen that as a red flag there was also a mix up and confusion when it came to the paperwork and to my speculation no doubt the vehicle broke down not even 3 weeks after purchasing it and now it sits at a shop waiting to be evaluated the worse part about it was it was 90 degrees outside and all my kids were in the vehicle and when I went back to let them know they just pretty much ushered me away and pretty much said it’s not their problem anymore these people have no consideration and to me are scam artists valley imports isn’t a good place to buy a vehicle they knew I had kids and they would more than likely be in the vehicle if it ever broke down I’m more than positive they knew before hand that something was wrong with the vehicle because what car dealership doesn’t have a mechanic right!!!

Made an appointment for an oil change and they never did it. I dropped my key off in the drop box and they never checked the box. Never called to confirm that I was or was not coming. Got there after work and had to wait 2 hours for them to change my oil. They didnt bump other services because they forgot to perform my services. I will never ever come here again. Ill definitely be taking my car to Red River Motorwerks.Very very disappointedGave them my keys at 4:15pm....got my car back at 5:55pm

Service manager Michelle is great, very professional. My experience otherwise was very sub par. Brought my car in for a simple key fob to be programmed, which I bought from them for $173. Was told it will be a $129 charge to do the programming. The car went in the shop with two working keys. When I received the car back, after programming of keys and key fob was done, I only received two working keys back, out of four that I wanted programmed. When checking the key fob, it did not work and has not worked since the supposed programming, but they stated it worked when it left the shop. Now mind you they claimed my immobilizer system was damaged and they had to enlist volkswagon to help them resurrect the software in the system, although it worked fine before bringing it in. This accumulated to a $258 programming fee now instead of the agreed upon $129. So I now have almost $431 invested in getting a key fob and have not received a working key fob yet. The only answer I get now is that it will be an additional $129 hourly rate to figure out why the key fob will not work. Now who in their right mind would give them more money when they were unable to complete the simple task for $431?

My gf bought a used car there. I was not involved very much. The salesman was outstanding - Dimitry. The finance guys (2 of them) treated the salesman like dirt and my gf almost as bad. They were extremely unprofessional, would roll their eyes like moody 14 year olds, acted like they were truly bothered by helping with financing, rude and condescending to Dimitry. It made her extremely uncomfortable. We might be back but only if we secure alternate financing next time.Sales - outstanding. Financing - fail.

Dropped my car off the night before my appointment. Was fast and painless. They had found the issue and notified me of it swiftly. I was given a car wash coupon as it was below zero to make sure my vehicle got cleaned when it wouldnt freeze. All the little thoughtful things always add up to a fantastic experience!

Very helpful and descriptive. Unlike other dealerships I have experienced, the people at Valley Imports showed me what customer service was all about. I got a detailed video on my vehicle inspection, updates on all work done, as well as options for repairs now and in the future. Best place I have ever been to, I highly Recommend!

*UPDATED* Alright service but be prepared to spend an arm and a leg on said service. For some routine maintenance they will charge 3x the amount of other dealerships in the region. If you ever request information from them get it in writing. Otherwise, they will fall back on their word in the blink of an eye.UPDATE - Please, for the love of god, do not be deceived by their responses. They do this to flip bad reviews. They also fish for positive reviews after each and every interaction you have with them. Complete with a call from a gentle sounding older woman who conjures images of a sincere grandmother. This is all a tactic. A tactic designed to fight clear signs of consumer dissatisfaction. If you arent convinced, read all of the other negative reviews. They manipulate Google reviews - plain and simple.

We were having trouble with the parking sensors being too sensitive. Couldn’t figure out how to change the settings on our own, so I texted Robbie Seaman, the sales associate who helped us when we bought the car. Robbie did his research, and then created and sent a short video to us. Problem fixed! Robbie has been great to work with before, during and after the sale!

Plus they provide shuttle service and courtesy drivers are so pleasant and friendly. This is very convenient when your car is being worked on. The free car wash is a bonus. Overall great service!

My 2013 Outlander SE was brough into Valley Imports in Fargo to have recall performed. Recall was for the front crossmember becoming excessively corroaded/rusted in areas with treated winter roads (I live in an area that salts most roads all winter) and the control arm was breaking off, removing control from the driver. My research regarding the recall, and my personal inspection of the crossmember lead me to believe it would be replaced --or at least removed and properly inspected. Valley Imports mitigation for this recall was to spray the crossmember down with an anti corrosion spray without removal, cleaning, or proper inspection. Prior experience has lead me to believe without removing the present corrosion, the anti corroasive spray is nearly useless. Many spots on the cross member that had rust present didnt even get the anti corroasive spray on it. I drove 472 miles in total (944 if you count the second vehicle each trip) to get this work done because my wife, 2 kids, and 2 dogs drive/ride in that car, and i want it safe. I also opted to have an extremely expensive transmission oil change done (didnt replace filter....? is there a filter? :D) (was not informed of cost before arrival), my new tires installed/balanced (only one wheel with weights? unlikely...), and other PM service work. There was also 2 additonal wiper motor/arm recalls that were performed. My engine Oil plug has some form in place gasket maker all over it (Valley Import changed oil, didnt replace seal, Oil pan is leaking directly above plug (not present before Valley Imports) valve cover is covered in oil, transmission oil degredation level was not reset (have log on my matco scanner), 3 tires are missing the valve cap covers my wife recently purchased and installed, and the TPMS fault i requested to have diagnosed wasnt properly diagnosed (only 1 sensor is bad, Valley Import told me 3 were bad, and over $1000 to repair). Worst experience with a dealer Ive had.More information, details, photos, and etc available. I would appreciate some refund or a new crossmember sent to my address for me to install... properly.

My husband and I were looking for a vehicle for a few days and driving car lots in fargo and we pulled in Valley Imports after hours and our salesman Joe happened to be there delivering a car and came and talked to us and let us test drive a vehicle. He ended up staying 2 hours after hours to help us out and make sure all of our questions were answered.Fast forward to the next day my 5 year old daughter and I drove up to fargo to purchase the vehicle and there was only 1 finance guy on hand so we had to wait a little bit to sign papers and Joe stayed with us again after hours to make sure we were taken care of and he sat with my daughter and talked with her while i was signing papers. The finance guy was also just as awesome and personable.I will recommend Valley Imports to ANYONE who is looking for a new vehicle. I was overly impressed with the buying process. :)We purchased the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan... I love it.

I bought a Mercedes in August. (from a different dealer) I live in a rural community. I have a local shop I use for repairs, but do do service work I use the Mercedes dealer typically. Previously, I used Sears Imports in the Twin Cities.I chose Valley Imports because my niece lives in Fargo, and I decided it would be a great opportunity to visit her while I had work done to my car. I called them, and explained the car I had purchased, that I would be traveling from 3 hours away, and that I was hoping to have a good experience with Valley Imports. I have owned over a hundred vehicles and will revisit dealerships that treat me well, for example Sears Imports, or Subaru of St Cloud.At my first appointment, I found out they offer no car to use while your car is being fixed. Also my appointment, put me in a line of cars that had been dropped off, apparently first come first serve. The assigned advisor to me, was gruff, offered no assistance, no solutions, and no apology for the miscommunication. The service that I thought would take a few hours took until the afternoon, so I was left stranded in Fargo, with no car, no place to stay, during Covid. I asked to be notified promptly when my car was done. He never called, but upon returning to the dealership I found my car was in fact done, and also he was nowhere to be found. Someone else began helping me, and I discovered that the changes to my account made early in the morning, were not done so I changed them again. Address, phone, e-mail etc. Then, he returned, and finished checking me out. I guess this assigned concierge is supposed to provide you with some kind of stellar experience. NOT SO. Then I was told my car needed brakes, a blower motor, and other items. So I scheduled that to be done. I returned and had a similar lackluster customer service. 10 days later my car doesnt start, because as it turns out the battery was original, and should have been replaced. Interestingly, enough many items reported to have been done were not in fact done. Also under my hood was full of leaves. WEIRD how you can work on an engine and do a multi-point inspection but magically not move the leaves. I paid them over $2200.00. The managers gave me the run around, and suffice to say..I WILL NEVER RETURN, I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM A GOOD REVIEW. GO ELSEWHERE!

We purchased a VW Atlas, love the car and had good service during the sales process.We do not live in Fargo and we have had to bring the vehicle back to the dealership 4 times in the short 2 months we have owned it for warranty repairs. I understand that we made a choice to purchase a import vehicle at a dealership out of town, but the least they could do is offer a loaner for the time we have to spend in Fargo to get service work done rather than expecting the us to wait in the dealership for 4+ hours or get a courtesy ride. They are the only dealership I know in this area that doesnt offer this service. Its a huge inconvenience. Also, if you schedule an appt for service work, stick to the appt time. Taking a car back an hour after its been dropped off isnt right especially since you require the customer to sit around and wait in the waiting room.Still love the car, but not really impressed with the service experience we have had thus far.

0 stars. This dealership is such a waste of time.I saw they had a car I was interested in online and emailed to get more information. After sending 3 emails to them I finally get an answer that the car is sold, but they can order me the car (yay) but that’s where the good stuff ends. It was like pulling teeth to get any information from this dealership. None of my questions were getting answered and minimum information was provided. I would send emails with tons of questions and they weren’t being answered. It’s now been 5 days and I’m not getting any replies. The information that was provided was contradictory to what the other sales associate was saying. No one was on the same page, and no one was able to provide a straight answer. The manager was aware of the situation and didnt step in to help once. As someone who is ready and willing to buy a six figure car from this dealership I expected at least very basic communication and customer service which was not provided. Super frustrating and annoying. Would not recommend going to this dealership but, if you absolutely have to stay away from Robbie, and Kristen in sales and the manager Bob. What a waste of time and extremely unprofessional.

The issue with my vehicle went back over a year. I tried to fix it myself, brought to another garage, they couldnt find the source of the issue, my last hope before just getting rid of the car was to bring it here. Valley imports and the technician who worked on my car, found the source and fixed my car and got it running better than I have ever had it running. I may think they are a little overpriced, but fixing my issue is well worth the money I spent. The only issue I had is I had to call in to find out what was going on with my vehicle, which was a little annoying. All in all, am pleased beyond pleased at the work they did!

Update: again they refuse to accept that it was because of their faults that my car is broken again. A timing chain does NOT break within two years on a car that is used only to go to work and home. It simply does not unless the person who fixed it did not do it correctly. The first time they fixed my timing chain it was still making sounds as I drove it off the parking lot so who knows if it was even fixed correctly the second time.f I could give no stars I would. Terrible customer service. They dont care about you even if you bought your car there. They fix a part in your car and it goes bad again 2 years later and since the warrantly is only for one year, they wont help you. Please take your car elsewhere to a shop that actually cares for you and isnt just money hungry. I will never buy a car from here again. It has been problem after problem with them with no solution. I have spoken to other shops who are all suprised i am having to fix a timing chain again after two years. They will sell you a faulty car and the blame is always on the customer instead of on them. I am having to pay over 4,000 dollars because of their mistake. I will be making a report.

Absolutely worst possible service. They charge 3x time to check this or to check that without even fixing the issue that was in the first place. Then they want more labor money to check some more things without even being sure if that is the issue. This is money drain and worst possible service. Do not bring your car here!

On March 18th; a Saturday, I called over to Valley Imports to request information on a used Audi A4 that I found on their website. I was transferred over to one of their sales team members, Tana, who helped answer my questions about the car. Unfortunately for me, I live up in Minnesota, so the drive itself was almost 250 miles away. Even so, I was so eager to see the car that I requested we make plans for that Monday to make the purchase official and voila! That Monday, the car was all mine.A few days down the road I noticed that the right tail light had some burnt out LEDs. Was it a deal breaker? Not in the slightest. Was I sad that my cars bum wasnt fully function? You betcha.I cried to Tana about it and she couldnt have made it easier for me. She told me she would ship out the new tail light to my address at no cost to me. She explained how to get the old tail light out and how to install the new one. We ended our conversation that she would follow up with me in the next few weeks when the shipment is out.I get a call from Tana a few weeks later.Lee, were sending a team your way!Next thing I know, Valley Imports is in Minnesota, at my house, installing a new tail light. As their customer, this was grade A+ customer service.This is my first car and therefore my first car purchase, so I dont have a lot of experience in the car buying/selling world, but I honestly cant think of this process being any easier than with what Tana and Valley Imports has done for me.Thanks again from Minnesota!

From making the appointment, either by calling the toll free number or using the online tools, the drop-off inside and out of the weather, the waiting areas complete with TVs, beverages, snacks and wi-fi, or if you choose the shuttle service, all the way to receiving a washed car after the service has been completed. ***UPDATE 1/4/2019I got in contact with Jeff Richmond, the General Manager at valley imports. He was fantastic to work with and helped address my issues. He has made every effort to rebuild the relationship between customer and dealer. This is what happens when you go somewhere else after they do not provide honest service. No Mercedes dealers should behave this way. I was not looking for a great offer, just fair and the offer was not fair. I had a great experience getting my oil changed, even in the midst of a Pandemic. Im moving and had already put it off for 2 months, so I was trying to avoid going during this COVID situation, but it was unavoidable. Valley Imports handled the process very well, even amidst social distancing. They mostly communicated with me through text and email to limit our contact, which I actually preferred. Also, they sent me a video of the inspection and a detailed report. This level of detail and care is excellent, and I appreciate how hard they work to communicate. Im often nervous to take my car in because Im afraid the costs will add up and Ill be uncomfortable, but my representative Levi was great and really helped outline costs for today and then future work to properly maintain my car. If anything, they over communicated, which Im actually very happy with, since Ive had other experiences at a different shop where I didnt feel informed about the work and costs. The use of technology and level of professionalism is unmatched.

Told me I need to replace/service things I’ve done recently. One being flushing the brake fluid, which i already did, WITH them, less than a month ago. Last time i was here told me what was causing a small engine leak, this time tried to tell me I need to pay $130 to diagnose it. Do not come here if you have an older car, they’re just gonna try and scam you.

I brought my Mercedes sl 320 In because I have a light on on my dash board. I thought the computer needed to be reset because of what I read online. But that was not the problem, it cost me $417.00 to figure out why the light was on. I am happy that valley found out what the problem was as I had it to two different shops who could not help. I was upset but when I visited with my service advisor but he explained why it cost so much to diagnose the problem. I still feel that $417.00 is excessive for diagnosing a light on the dash but oh well I guess that’s why Mercedes are a rich mans vehicle. The reason for the three stars is because of the grease on my center counsel and side of my passenger seat, I am assuming the mechanic picked up the grease when he manually removed my hard top even though he did not have to remove it manually, there is lots of grease around that area. The roof works as it should as I stated when I dropped off the car there was no need to manually remove the roof. There was dielectric grease on my passenger seat cushion I am assuming from when the mechanic removed the roof module from behind the passenger seat. I came from Bismarck and was wasting time in Fargo I dropped the car off at 10:20 A.M. and came back at 2:30 PM the car was done but I never received a call. The other shops did not have the computer needed to hook up the computer I believe it is called the STAR computer that is why I traveled 3 hours to have a dealership look at the car. After the mechanic retrieved the codes instead of trying the module that valley had He kept trying to find open grounds??? and then tried valleys module and it worked as it should. so after paying $417.00 to diagnose a warning light and everything I went through I think 3 stars is more than fair! after diagnosing the problem I was asked if I wanted a carwash, I figured why not. The employee who ran my car through left the car on with the radio on, so on top of it all I now have no antenna on my car. Valley does not have those in stock I was asked if I wanted to come back and have it repaired when they got one in, there are supposed to mail one to me, but I will believe it when I see it.

I locked my keys in my car and called into Valley imports. My wallet, any form of ID (passport, passport card, birth certificate) were in my car from a recent trip. I was told from a different dealer I was going to have to pay for an entire new set costing almost $200. Tyler in the parts department was amazing. He asked me to bring in proof of title and any type/form of ID I could. He got me the key code and explained where Kurt’s was to get just a key cut all within an hour and for very cheap. He was so so helpful and kind! 5 stars are for Tyler.

I was pleased to pick up my car from Valley Reconditioning finding that it was run through their car wash. Very nice! I brought my car here to be serviced. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming. The oil change included a car wash and inspection. I even received a text link to a video walk through of the inspection...really cool! They truly offer premier service.The sales staff was incredible, as well. Every time I bring one of my two vehicles here, everyone is so friendly and helpful! I’ve had experiences with 3 different service advisors and they are all so kind, patient, and thorough. They always share a video inspection of the underside of your vehicle. The service technician introduces himself and is very thorough in explaining exactly what you are looking at. A very nice touch so you can see what they are talking about and you don’t have to wonder whether a repair really needs to be made. They are great about explaining any service work that needs to be done or if there is anything they find that might need repair/replacement in the future. They offer shuttle service, always greet you with a smile and you are given a detailed print out of the services performed, the inspection of your vehicle and any suggestions or repairs that are needed. I enjoy bringing my cars in for service at Valley Imports, they make the experience pleasant and easy! Customer service is always top notch!!

The 40k and 50k oil changes left me less than impressed and the 3 recalls I had addressed in March were not getting resolved. Josh and Brian went abive and beyond to rectify the issues and I was very impressed with their attention to the matter and how quickly it was resolved. The Audi was due for its regular oil change. This is my commuter car and I put on around 100 miles daily. I usually bring it in for oil changes every 5,000 miles. I schedule my appointments online which is really easy. Customer service is always top notch. Although I bought the car used, Valley Imports sold this car brand new and has done all the regular service on this car since. They have always done a great job for me. I really like the quick video that the technician does when they inspect the car during each visit. It really keeps you in tune with what is going on with your car and any issues. Thanks

I recommend everyone to stay away from Valley Imports if you are buying used. Purchased a newer car with very low miles. A few months down the road, I get an error stating that the car will not start after 300 miles. Bring it in because I purchased a new car to avoid these issues. They offered me 33% less than what I bought it for and will only take a trade-in. I literally purchased the car from Valley Imports just a few months ago. The excuse they use for this is Well, this is what the car is being sold and bought for at the moment. Just a few moments ago, you sold me the car for 33% more than that, so I find it hard to believe.

Had a very good experience buying a car here. They were very upfront and competitively priced. Maintenance shop has always been quick and professional. No complaints!The facility is clean with a new remodel recently. Plenty of space. They pull the car in if it is cold and you want to look at it. Sales staff is polite and professional.Maintenance is a bit pricey, but any dealer is. I have not had any issues with them.
