I have never been treated so well at a business as they treated me .Jason the manager took a wheel off his own truck and tried it on mine for fit as was a large tire and same as on his truck.Then they also tried one other size on also so I could pick what I felt was best.I have never had such treatment in 30 yrs of buying tires .Brandon their front desk guy was terrific too with all my questions. I’m the guy that doesn’t put reviews out there but I felt I needed to on this one. My truck was towed in at 2pm on Dec 23rd. My alternator had seized which in turn shredded my serpentine belt. They diagnosed the problem and were done with the repair same day to get me back on the road so I didn’t miss my Christmas plans despite being extremely busy. Their communication with me was also awesome and very professional. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking.

Amazing service! Called and got a same day appointment, and they even drove me back to my work for free while they looked at my car. They were able to find the problem and fix it that day as well for a really good price! Just one week ago, I had taken my car into a larger known auto company, and they missed the problem with my vehicle that CAR was able to find within 30 minutes of me dropping it off. I found Certified Auto Repair about 5 years ago. Since then Ive used them for a variety of services on a variety of vehicles. The entire crew is knowledgeable and personable; they really make me feel like its my shop when Im having service done. They do their best to meet your needs in a timely manner and I think their pricing is fair. From my experience their pricing mirrors or beats comparable shops in town. Ive been in other shops over the last 5 years for service while traveling out of town or on road trips and I wouldnt trade any of them for the service I get at Certified Auto Repair. For my familys vehicles, I wouldnt trust anyone else.

They changed my oil, rotated my tires, and cleaned my corroded battery.I didn’t feel like they were trying to nickel and dime me for every little thing they could do on my vehicle.I am so glad I took my vehicle here. These guys are great! I love that they text a link showing whats good and what needs to be replaced. Very easy to read and they take pictures of the parts so you know they arent just making things up. Very professional over the phone and will go over what they feel needs urgent attention vs what can be held off. Oh, and I cant complain about their pricing. No names given here... but for what I needed done was $200 less than another mechanic.

My car had been shaking when I drove it and the check engine light was flashing.. so I knew it couldn’t be good and was stressing about where to go so I wouldn’t be taken advantage of. I haven’t found another mechanic in the Fargo/Moorhead area that I felt so heard and respected by. They took the time to really explain what was going on with my car and didn’t try to take advantage of me by up-selling or fixing anything that didn’t need to be fixed. They called me with a quote which was very reasonable for what was going on with my car and made sure I understood everything. This is where you want to go for any auto service you need done. The staff is the best around. They are very knowledgeable and so patient. I am that dumb blonde that thought there was such thing as blinker fluid for the longest time 🙄 and they were patient with my questions and explained in detail everything I needed to know. For once I didnt have to call my dad to see if I really needed to have a mechanic replace something they suggested. They showed me things I should be concerned about, gave me estimates for them and not once did I feel pressured to have anything what done outside of what I came for. Megan is great! I didnt catch the gentlemans name that also helped me but hes great also. And the prices are a steal for the quality and customer service! Long story short, pick this place.P.S. TIP YOUR MECHANICS!!

Started with my parents taking my car and their cars there when I was younger and then as I grew up and got my own cars, went there as well. I have never had a bad experience or work done by Certified Auto. What I appreciate the most is the honesty and the work ethic each and every employee has. I recommend Certified Auto to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle. I had issues with my Tahoe and they were able to get it in fast to look at it. They shared pictures of the issues to me while I was at work so I knew what they were talking about. Jason called explaining the issues and answered all my questions. They got the front hub and back breaks fixed with in hours and was reasonable on the price.I always feel like Im actually being heard when I go here and I will continue to leave my vehicle in their hands.

We were preparing to leave town and had the tires checked at XYZ. Later one tire was hissing air. I pulled into Certified Auto Repair because I knew they were there. We made it just in time, the tire was fine they checked it all over, confirmed it was a faulty valve core, they replaced it at no charge and we were on our way. 15 minutes tops! My original review for the shop was actually for a tire.... However that problem had some misunderstandings so Im changing my review. When Justin first asked me to change my review, I was hesitant because I felt it was honest. Because I was hesitant, he attempted to persuade me. In his attempt to clear things up (which wasnt wrong in itself) he shared my personal information with another shop and then continued to share personal information of another person to me because he believed it to be the same car. He did NOT ask me if it was the same person or even if I knew them which I thought was unprofessional and unsafe. He then proceeded to retaliate against my coworker and employer which I thought to be very unprofessional as well. So theres my honest review. Would you want to take your car to someone who feels the need to retaliate against innocent parties over one bad review?

Fast, quality, honest service. Had to set up an appointment 2 weeks out to get into Luther for a check engine light. Called CAR on a Tuesday morning, they Diagnosed the problem and had my truck fixed by the end of the day. Thank you gentlemen!

Called up about my 93 Dodge Dakota for a quote to change 2 U-Joints on my drive shaft and change my oil. They had the lowest quote in the Fargo area and not only that but they got it done in roughly 2.5-3 hours on top of having other vehicles worked on. I suppose its their job to upsell... but I didnt think it was necessary. However, it looked like my vehicle had been vacuumed, which I didnt think ANYONE did anymore like the old days when you got your oil changed. I was very happy and will definitely be back! We always receive great service at CAR and appreciate the professionalism from the entire team. Following vehicle inspection they always call with their diagnosis for an okay to proceed, even if I have said, Just fix it., and they stick to their promised estimate. Fantastic experience. Jason and team are truthful in what is wrong with your vehicle, the cost to do the repairs, and what is the impact of not fixing it. It is hard to find a repair shop that you feel is being straight with you, and it is second nature to question if you are getting correct info and not doing a needless l, expensive repair. I was in town for medical purposes with a family member when unexpected breakdown occurred I contacted certified Auto repair and explain my situation they got me in immediately and out the door within an hour and a half. Ive brought my wifes Volvo XC90 here twice now. The first time was for a new timing belt in June. I called around and these guys sounded fair in price and appeared to know what they were talking about.First trip was great. No problems and we saved a lot of money compared to the dealer.Second trip was this week. I had ordered parts to do my own brake job but was having some trouble. I brought them the parts and they installed my new brake rotors and pads with no problem and at a good price. They work great too!Overall these guys have saved me two trips to MPLS to go to the Volvo dealer and a good chunk of change. I really recommend them and will be back when I have any other mechanical concerns.

I was just about to leave Fargo from my 2 month old sons doctor appointment and my van was acting up. I called my dad and he thought it may be a transmission problem and wanted me to find someplace to have the transmission fluid checked before I made the drive home (which was a 4 hour drive). I found this repair shop and asked if someone might be able to help me on such short notice and told them the situation. The guy that I talked to was super friendly and took my van in right away to get it checked out. All was good to go so I asked how much I owed them for the service. The guy said nothing and told me just to drive safely home...what?!?! That kind of stuff doesnt happen very often anymore and it restores your faith in humanity that there are decent caring people out there that are willing to be kind just because...fantastic customer service!! Thanks from the bottom of my heart guys - really meant a lot to a tired worried mom!! Would definitely take my vehicle back there for repair just based on the great customer service - says a lot about a place.
