I got tested for COVID 19 on 11/30/2020, and I got the results 3.75 days after getting tested (thank God I tested negative). I was pretty happy that I got the results back this quicker, especially knowing that there is a increased demand in testing at this time. The person that guided me through the test was very nice, and I am happy that I got tested in this location. Highly recommended!Note: The test is a self test, so you have to put the swab in yourself.

I have had many excellent experiences at the CVS pharmacy in this location On numerous occasions, they have helped me with prescriptions on which I needed extra assistance or needed quickly. Today, Shawn was extremely helpful , I am very grateful.

Me and my son had our covid19 test via drive thru at this location. Initially, we thought that it would be easy because someone can just swab us. We found out that we need to do it ourselves. Yikes, not comfortable and not sure if we are doing it correctly because it’s difficult to do it yourself. Wish someone trained was doing this.

Dont ask this Pharmacy for prescription delivery. I asked the delivery and confirm with my home address. However, it still sent to the wrong address. The worker is rude and hard to communicate,they would like to take responsibility and resend, but just ask me to pick up. During the COVID-19, I dont want to go to cvs store. After talk to talk to customer service twice, about 2 hours, the only way I can do is to cancel. The customer service said you need the medical and the only way is to pick up, you cant buy this prescription by insurance again. How can it be?? After arguing, it is canceled.

Their drive-thru has been out of order for weeks. You will have to go inside of the store to drop off or pick up meds, where potential covid patients are also visiting inside to manage their meds after their covid testing done.

If I could give this location zero stars, I totally would. From the absolutely RUDE pharmacist Cecille to the constant broken self-check out machines, this location should just shut down. Avoid this location if you want to avoid being frustrated. Theres always one or 2 people working who are suddenly nowhere to be found when you need help. Expect to stand in line & wait for a cashier to come up & check you out because the machines are CONSTANTLY not working properly. The 1st machine says no cash but is supposed to accept credit/debit & Apple Pay however it does not accept ANY payments methods so it denies all payments which can be embarrassing when there is a long line. I cant tell you how many time I have had to walk out WITHOUT my items because I had to wait FOREVERRRR for the cashiers assistance. There isnt anything convenient about this location at all. CVS in Greenbriar is MUCH better!

Thanks CVS for shutting down with no evening hours and no hours on Saturday! Some of us have to go to work as first responders and now can not get our medications. Glad you get to control my health! But with out fail you blasted my phone with messages that my prescription was ready but no info that your closed. You caused at least 10 people to come to the parking lot to park and try to go in. Not doing well in the promotion of health and well being of people.

Terrible pharmacy experience, I gave the pharmacist my insurance and perscription card, she then dissapeared for 15 minutes and returned only my insurance card, I had to explain to her that she also had my perscription card, and argued with her until she went back and retrived it, and then insisted that the perscription card was unnessicary and I never should have given it to her. To top it off, the price of my medication at this pharmacy is about three times what it would be at my regular pharmacy,and the pharmacist could or would not explain why.

This is the worst experience ever in retail by a store manager Imelda who insulted me as a customer and when I asked her to stop she proceeded with humiliating me infront of other customers... and when I asked for escalating the complaint to her boss she stopped talking and she disappeared from the floor ...i am here for 10 min now... and she refuse to come out of her office to even take a formal complaint on her...nice going CVS ...what an attitude.

Every time we (Wife, son, and myself) need our prescriptions filled it’s never available at this pharmacy. Both my wife and I are on blood pressure medication and have been forced to find another pharmacy to get our prescriptions filled. I’m never using this CVS again.

0 star would be more appropriate. Not only is the pharmacy staff not helpful, he also lack basic empathy. I had to keep asking questions to try to get an answer.I called in for a prescription refill on Tuesday. Three days later I still haven’t gotten a message that the refill was ready. So I called - only to find out that it was on back order for 2 YEARS. I’d have thought someone would have called and let me know? When I asked the pharmacist what I could do, he said, coldly, you need to just call around different places to find it.... he didn’t even offer to call other CVS. Yup - just go figure it out yourself was the reaction I got.

Would give no stars if possible. This cvs pharmacy is horribly slow and understaff. If they say 15 minutes, they mean an hour. They need more competent people. There are only two that are really good but they’re not always there.

Two months ago I received attitude from a pharmacist who couldn’t figure out how to fill a prescription for my Dexcom transmitter. She eventually gave up and said it’s not their fault call Dexcom/insurance. It was/is their fault since they can’t process a voucher correctly apparently. Then today I was on the phone for 25 minutes, mostly on hold trying to get an answer for when my prescription would be filled. Never received an answer. Always under staffed pharmacy and some pretty poor customer service.

Typical CVS. Not often busy when I go, and its nice to be able to park so close. Nowadays, however, Ive really enjoyed being able to have recurring online orders delivered straight to my door (with a discount and free shipping). Anything else, I head here.

Impossible to get prescriptions filled here.Send in an order online and they wont fill it till you show up........But theyre always super busy because they have super limited hours in comparison to other pharmacies which open earlier and stay open later. So by the time you show up and ask for your perscription to be filled you will have to wait for at least 30 minutes and thats after youve stood in line for 30 minutes.I placed an order online for my perscription on a Wedneaday evening with the pickup timeslot being for Thursday at 11:00am. I never got an email or a call saying it was ready. By the time I could actually make it to the pharmacy during business hours in between travel and meetings, it was now Friday night with still no email or phone call confirming my order was ready, so I showed up anyway...I was the only customer in the drive thru and it took 30 minutes upon being greeted for the (a different) pharmacist to come back to the call box and ask me for my name a second time so she could look up which perscription I was supposed to have ready for pickup. When she saw which perscription it was for she proceeded to tell me they hadnt filled it yet even though I submitted my order 2 days ago because it was not an insurance covered perscription (even though I have NEVER had a problem paying full price out of pocket and picking it up at this pharmacy before). She said they were super slammed at the moment and if I wanted to wait another 30 minutes she would try and have it ready for me.Im sorry.... WHAT?!I told her we would try this again tomorrow when I had more time.So I came back yesterday (Now Saturday, to find out the hours on google are wrong, and this CVS closes at 6:00pm (arrived after work at 6:02pm) and the gates are down.)-_-I should switch pharmacies, but Im not entirely convinced theyd transfer my information over correctly.

My experienced,I picked up a friend from Fairfax Inova Hospital Tuesday around 8:30pm, the medicine cost at the Hospital over $200.00 out of pocket so we went to the local Walmart, I went inside the Pharmacy and the pharmacist check the prescription but it was not available so I asked him, How much was the medicine cost?, he said: $106.00 by that time it was 9:00pm, I asked him: if he knew a place open at that hour and point out Costco and Harris Teeter, we went to Costco but it was closed, I called Harris Teeter was closed also, So I googled the nearest CVS around and point at this location, so I called the pharmacy was still open until 9:30pm, I went inside to drop off the prescription and the only pharmacist available was Sung Hee Choi, she was very busy filling prescription, answering the phone, checking drive through prescriptions, helping people with their regular pick ups and still had the time to help me. By that time was over 9:30pm,Sung Hee Choi help me and it did not see time matter to her for helping the needy was more important to her I noticed, Sung Hee Choi helped me all the way, she even had the time to explained the dosage in details, she told me the medicine prescribed was very expensive but she gave a discount coupon without even asking and I only paid $60.00 for the medicine by that time was 10:00pm, the store was closing at that hour. I am so thankful I stopped at this location and meet pharmacistSung Hee Choi.I had a great experienced in this pharmacy, I can only speak for myself and even the front stuff were very helpful as well.Thank you so much for you all help.God Bless.

I had a prescription I needed filled and after 3 hours of running around northern Virginia trying to find acvs that had it in stock, I called this one and the pharmacist said they did have it. Apparently the other CVS when I called them didnt want to look so they just said they were out or I was told that they couldnt give me that info over the phone and I would have to come in person. Anyway this CVS had it, I drive up there, and it wasnt busy at all. I got the script checked in and was waiting and heard my name called 30 minutes later. Not a minute after the first page, I hear it again. I was on my way back there already. The pharmacist tells me that he wont fill it because he doesnt feel comfortable with the dosage. It took over 30 minutes to tell me that? Also he didnt know my history like my doctor does. Ive been taking this medication for over 2 years the same way as this one was written. While I appreciate them looking out, it becomes very frustrating when they deny filling it. And it shouldnt take 30 minutes to tell a person this.To top it off, I had an item to return and I didnt have the receipt. I didnt expect to have to return this so I did throw it away. The cashier tells me that she cant refund me without a receipt. Since when? Ive always gotten store credit if I had no receipt. I couldnt even get that. She gives me a phone number for customer service and says to call. This is 9:30pm she knew they were closed. I got my item back, and stopped at another CVS and they did the return. My meds still arent filled...

Went to get my sons flu shot. Arrived with 7 minutes until closing (unknowingly). Stood at the reception and watched the group of 4 pharmacists look at me and then walk over and close the gate, without a word to me. So unbelievably rude. I will never go back to this one.

Staff are completely incompetent. Never there to help, always waiting around for someone to hopefully finally notice you’re there. Worst ever, and I’ve seen it for 8 years that I’ve lived here.
